I love that Johnny is somewhat, or probably entirely, educated on Sento's history and origins

But anyways, I love the headcanon that Johnny takes very good care of Sento after he bought them- Bro set up the mantle in the middle of his living area I mean come on

Sure it could've been because he wanted to show it off- But also display it in its rightful beauty because Sento is a history possession, he knows how much it's been through and what it's been a part of and because of that he took very good care of it

He definitely values a lot of the shit he buys because again, history buff. He doesn't buy them to show off how much money he has and what he can buy, but he buys and values them because of the history of it. What he understood from his research and wanted to value it as his own

Anyways back to Sento, because of how Johnny took care of them and researched, they actually trust Johnny enough to be somewhat of a handler or caretaker

Don't get the sword wrong, the spirits in Sento did not like the fact that Johnny kept them away from Kenshi when it really should've been passed down onto him since he was a part of the Taira clan and it had been a long fuckin time since the sword had been in any of the clan's hands

But they turned out pleased with how they are given to Kenshi, and makes the reason more meaningful after the events of storymode

That being said, while Johnny isn't the best swordsman, Sento is willing to be a trustworthy and reliable weapon when Johnny needs it

So I have been wanting to make a Nezuko cosplay for a while, but I'm a bit confused about what she is wearing. I can't figure out if she is wearing a kimono or a Yukata. I was wondering if you could maybe answer that question.

As for your question, considering Demon slayer "historical" time, Nezuko would definitly wear a (lined) kimono as her daily clothes (I have covered the subject here).

Historically, 浴衣 yukata were linen then cotton bath-time clothing (that what the 浴 yu means). They were first worn in the bath (yukatabira 湯帷子), then as bathrobes when communal baths spread from 16th century and onward. They were mainly white with indigo dyed patterns (=shades of blue/green).

As daily wear kimono dwindled, yukata spread as informal summer clothing, especially for matsuri events. This informal wear might be linked to the popularity of onsen vacations, as it was common for ryokan (traditional inns) to proved to their guests a nemaki 寝巻き (kind of informal sleepclothes also worn to stroll around onsen towns, suuuper close to yukata in both material/use/shape).

As to your Nezuko cosplay, tbh if it's easier for you to find/make a yukata, go for it! Nowaday, it's not unusual for people to wear their nice yukata dress-up as a kimono (=over a juban) :)

Construction is similar between kimono and yukata anyway. Yukata are simply made from cotton and unlined, so it will be much easier to dress and more confortable to wear - especially in conv heat!
