[NEWS] Sato Ryuji is Voicing a New Character in the Game "Sengoku A LIVE"

DESCRIPTION OF "SENGOKU A LIVE"

"Sengoku A LIVE" is a mobile rhythm game, which features Japanese historical warriors from the Sengoku Era as characters.

Due to mysterious circumstances, these warriors find themselves being sent to modern day Shibuya. Instead of uniting Japan through warfare, they decide to achieve their goal using music.

The player will help bring these warriors together to form the ultimate singing unit. Other features of the game include the player helping the warriors to collect fans, which will also unlock the story portions of the game. The songs in the game are also covers of classic Japanese songs sung by the CVs.

DESCRIPTION OF KIRIGAKURE SAIZO

Sato Ryuji is voicing Kirigakure Saizo, a lone wolf with an Attachment Syndrome. He is a ninja that has made a sudden appearance in the 21st century, looking for a person named "Sanada Nobushige". Apparently, he's been into romance novels lately.

Like the other characters in the game, Saizo is based on a historical mythological figure with the same name. He is a member of the Sanada Ten Braves, a group of ninja that assisted Sanada Yukimura during the Sengoku Era.

Trying to sing Zurui Onna…

The initial step for the song "Zurui Onna" was to add a powerful, emotive mood in order to respect the original song rather than make it match Mitsunari's image, which is gaining the carefree yet steady tempo.  I was also trying to determine the character's characteristics as I was singing it. I had heard that as the song progressed, the lyrics would eventually come to reflect the character's characteristics, but after really getting to know this song, I was once again in awe of how fantastic the original song was.

One of the highlights of "Sengoku A LIVE" is the characters covering classic songs of different genres. The song covered by Kirigakure Saizo is "GLAMOROUS SKY", originally sung by Nakashima Mika as an image song in Nana and composed by Hyde of L'Arc-en-Ciel.

Being that Desire-Jonetsu is a classic song, I obviously feel under pressure not to sing it half-heartedly. However, I thought it was a good song for Kenshin to sing.

Although the song has a very obvious feeling of sex appeal and power, I found it interesting to sing it as a man. However, many men today are mindful of beauty as well, so I tried my best to portray beauty, sex appeal, and strength in a way that cut across genders.

What is Sengoku A Live?

Sengoku A Live is a idol mobile game that was released this year on June 2023.

The story follows Japanese warriors from the Sengoku-era. Who are transported into modern day shibuya without any explanation. Throughout the story, the boys seek to empower the world with music!!

You get to choose from 12 amazing men as your favorite!! Pull cards from the gacha system, play songs, and more!! It's similar to project sekai, bandori and love live gameplay wise.

So check out Sengoku a live!! It's a really fun game with amazing characters and Seiyuu's!!
