The contrast between faith and ultrakill, two games published by new blood is so funny to me

Like I remember when the first chapter of faith came out

Two parents are suspicious of their daughter's behaviour (for being too independent after getting a job as a nurse, idk it's been years since I have seen the first chapter) call a pair of priests to exorcise their daughter believing her to be possessed

The two priests fuck up the exorcism horrifically, resulting in the death of the parents and the daughter escaping

Later you, one of the priests who was there that day, come back, AGAINST THE CHURCH'S WISHES, to finish the job.

The daughter shows up, truly possessed like her parents had feared, the demon tells an evil speech about how it had stolen the girls body, and the priest succeeds at exorcising her and shoots her dead for good measure

Now, my memory may just be faulty, but I sincerely don't recall a moment in which you, the player character, is proven wrong

Also did you know that the daughter had a younger brother who is also apparently possessed, and in the opening second chapter you meet strapped to a bed, his body pale and gangly (which is apparently sign of demonic possession, like have y'all considered he's just sick??), held captive by the other priest, as the priest says that this is for the boy's own good??

And another also, did you know in the final chapter, in the final boss's evil lair has a portrait which has the word for demon written Latin Arabic and Hebrew?

EXEPT THE WORD IN ARABIC ISNT THE WORD FOR DEMON, IT'S JINN, A TYPE OF SPIRIT MADE OUT OF FIRE, Lucifer used to be one (not an angel like in Christianity, since angels in Islam don't have free will, only humans and jinn do), but after his fall he became a shaitan (the actual word for demon).

(fun fact, Satan's reason for falling in Islam is because he believed himself superior because he was made of fire while humans were made of mud)

And what makes me sad is remembering the early fandom that was the fact that a lot of us were convinced the priests were gonna be proven wrong, but nope, the final boss of the game is preventing the birth of the anti-christ

Who knows, maybe I'm being harsh, I don't quite remember the plot, and I didn't even finish it, the priests being constantly proven right put me off.

Honestly what sucks more is that the artstyle and the cutscenes are cool as hell, and we had a really cool setup for an unreliable narrator in chapter 1

Beware of Sadness (احذروا الحزن)

Ibn Al Qayyim may Allah have mercy on him said the word (الحزن) – (sadness) does not appear in the Quran rather only in the form of forbidding it (ولا تهنو ولاتحزنوا) or in the form of negating it (فلاخوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون). And the reason for this is because there is no benefit for having sadness in the heart. The most beloved thing to the shaitan is to make the believing slave sad by taking him off track.

The Prophet (ﷺ) sought refuge in Allah (subhanawatala from sadness (اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن)

Ibn Al Qayyim said: Sadness weakens the heart and diminishes determination and wanting to go forward. And there is nothing more beloved to the shaitan than sadness of a believer.

For this reason, be happy, optimistic and think good about Allah (subhanawatala). Have trust in what Allah (subhanawatala) is able to do and depend on Him. You will find happiness and pleasure in all situations.

Ibn Al Qayyim said: Don’t ruin your happiness with worry, and don’t ruin your mind with pessimism. Don’t ruin your success with deception and don’t ruin the optimism of others by destroying it. Don’t ruin your day by looking back at yesterday.

If you think about your situation, you will find that Allah (subhanawatala) has given you things without asking, so have trust in Allah (subhanawatala) that He doesn’t prevent anything you want except there is goodness for you.

You could be sleeping and the doors of the heavens are being opened with dua’as being made on your behalf, Subhan'Allah: perhaps from someone poor whom you helped, or someone sad whom you brought joy, or someone passing by and you smiled to him, or someone in distraught and you removed it.. so don’t ever underestimate any good deeds.

On the righteous predecessors said: I make dua’a to Allah (subhanawatala) for something I want, and if He gives it to me then I’m happy once and if He doesn’t give it to me then I’m happy ten times because the first was my choice and the second was Allah’s choice.

As Sa’ady may Allah have mercy on him said: life is short so don’t shorten it with worries, grief, and sadness.

So be the owner of a heart that breathes happiness and satisfaction.

The funeral proceeds. The shrouded bodies are lowered into the graves and propped accordingly, with the help of ORLANDO, QIANFAN, ANGELO and BEATRICE. As they do that, ORLANDO blinks rapidly and QIANFAN sniffles audibly.

CAMILA pushes SOFIA's wheelchair closer to the graves and helps SOFIA get a fistful of soil. Beside them, ISABELLA does the same to LEONARDO and BEATRICE, QIANFAN and ANGELO step to stand beside them and grasp some soil as well.

Elemental Monk (Monk Archetype)

 While we’ve had plenty of monks that gain the elemental fist as a free bonus feat, or master one element, Pathfinder shockingly didn’t have a purely elemental-focused archetype until late in the system’s lifespan (which isn’t to say you couldn’t make them elemental focused, but rather it would be through feats, rather than an archetype)

The way of the elemental monk focuses on the various elemental styles of the five most well-known types of genies: Djinn, Efreet, Janni, Marid, and Shaitan, mastering all five styles at once in an effort to be perfectly balanced.

This focus on balance means they are less focused on raw discipline than most monks, allowing themselves indulgences every now and then to offset what would normally be a very lawful outlook.

The end result is a powerful warrior monk able to adapt themselves to many different situations

 While other monks that master the elemental fist work on channeling a single element, these monks instead master all four, able to switch between acid, cold, electricity, and fire even between individual strikes!

They also learn how to enter the stances for the five different genie style, be it fierce and intimidating Efreet Style, acrobatic Djinn Style, fluid and graceful Marid Style, solid Shaitain Style, or flexible Janni Style.

As they grow in mastery, they also learn to implement the second, and finally third stage of each of those styles

But true masters can take this further, able to become totally immune to the associated element when in that stance (or in the case of Janni Style, able to shrink and grow as needed), becoming unparalleled masters of all five styles.

This mastery of the elements charges their attacks with a balanced energy that pierces the defenses of chaotic foes, and lets them perfectly pierce the defenses of elementally-aligned foes.

Additionally, true masters can use their connection to the elements to plane shift themselves and others to the elemental planes, though coming back to the material plane is harder.

What’s interesting about this archetype is that while it technically does not give you the elemental styles all at once, you can still enter any of them as a swift action as many times as you want each day. This basically means that they are integrated into the archetype’s teachings themselves, and that you do not need to spend feats to pursue any of them, you just have them, which can be quite useful for helping you decide on your build. In any case, be sure to research the benefits of each style so you can pick the right one for the right situation as well.

 These monks have to be true neutral, rather than any kind of lawful, but what does that mean for them? I feel the answer has to lie in perspective. From their point of view, the elements are evocative of a single, primal fact. And that is, chaos simply order without omniscience, and order is nothing but something we impose on the world around us. In this way, they find it in themselves to find personal discipline while also accepting that they will never be able to control everything, and that is more powerful than punching things with your fists on fire will ever be.

  Elka Tempesthoof is an atypical example of a monk, being a centaur and all, but when her fists and hooves blaze with elemental power, there can be no denying her mastery of the elements. It took a long time to modify the styles to suit her form, and she might be able to share insights on other modifications to other martial artists.

 Resistant to all four elements, the fiendish serpentine constructs known as abrakarn vipers easily negate the advantages of the elemental fist. As such, the legendary elemental monk Vicass captured and repurposed one of these horrors for use in his tomb, a perfect way to test if a true successor of his discipline could make do with the Janni Style, often forgotten by monks who have never been tested enough to run dry of elemental energy.

 The House of the Elements, that legendary school of the five genie styles, came together from the five masters putting aside their differences and discovering how much more they could learn from each other. This cooperation crumbled, however, after the master of water perished, and their grief and differences drove them apart. Now the monastery stands empty aside from lurking horrors and whatever secrets might be left behind.

First verse:

فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَى لَا انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ.

...whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. (Surah Baqarah 2:256)

We should know that the Shaitans are all (false) deities other than Allah. In many traditions Imam (as) has compared the false deities to the unjust rulers and enemies of religion whether they be Jibt, Tagut or Uzza and also considered the two hypocrites, the first and the second (caliphs) one as the Sanam (idols) of Quraysh. (And it is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that in the book of Allah our enemies are called ‘Fahsha’, ‘Munkir’, ‘Avsan’, ‘Jibt’ and ‘Taghut’.

Kulaini has narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ refers to the faithful man. And in another tradition he says that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ is to bring faith on only one God, Who has no partner.

There is a tradition in Mahasin by the same Imam that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ means monotheism and Ibne Shahr Aashob has narrated from Imam al-Baqir (as) that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ is the love of we AhlulBayt (pbbut) and in Uyoon Akhbar Ridha there is a tradition from the same Hazrat that the Holy Prophet (S) said that those who want to board the ship of salvation and get attached to ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ and ‘Hablul matin’ hold of Allah, should after me befriend Ali and be inimical to his enemies and follow the Imams from his progeny.

Also from the same Hazrat it is narrated that the Holy Prophet (S) said that those who want to hold ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’, should love Ali and my AhlulBayt (pbbut).

Also there is a tradition that the Holy Prophet (S) said: Those who follow the Imams from the progeny of Imam Hussain (as) then without any doubt they have followed Allah and those who disobey them are those who have disobeyed Allah. They are ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ and they are Wasilah (medium) for the people to reach Allah.

According to another tradition Imam al-Ridha (as) wrote to Mamoon about Islam, Shariah and religion. It was also written that the earth is never without the Hujjat (proof) of Allah. And they are ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ and Imams of guidance and proof of Allah on the people.

There is a tradition in Tawheed that Amirul Momineen (as) said that I am ‘Hablullah-al-Matin’ and I am ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’.

There is a tradition in Kamaluddeen that Imam al-Ridha (as) said: We are the Hujjat (proof) of Allah on the people and we are the ‘words of piety’ and ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’.

In Maniul Akhbar there is a tradition from the Holy Prophet (S) that those who want to get attached to the ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ which shall never break, should attach themselves to my brother and my vicegerent, Ali Ibne Abi Talib’s (as) Wilayat. Without any doubt he will not be destroyed that befriends him and has belief in his Imamate. And he will not get salvation that regards him as an enemy.

In Tawilul Aayaat there is a tradition from Imam al-Ridha (as) that the Holy Prophet (S) said that those who want to catch hold of the ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’, should be attached to the Wilayat of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as).

According to another tradition from Zaid Ibne Ali it is the true and intense love for Aale Muhammad (as).

Second verse:

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا.

And hold fast by the covenant (rope) of Allah (Hablillah) all together and be not disunited… 3:103

Third verse:

ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ اللَّهِ.

Abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found, except under a covenant with Allah… (Surah Ale-Imran 3:112)

Many of the traditionists have said that it means those who remain steadfast on the promise of Allah are protected.

There is a tradition from Ayyashi that Imam Moosa al-Kazim (as) said regarding the verse:

And hold fast by the covenant (rope) of Allah all together and be not disunited… (Surah Ale-Imran 3:103)

That Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as) is ‘hablulallah matin’. It means the tight rope of Allah.

Another tradition from Imam al-Baqir (as) says that the progeny of the Holy Prophet (S) is the rope of Allah, for whom Allah has commanded in this verse.

Also there is a tradition from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that he said: We are the rope of Allah.

Ali Ibne Ibrahim has narrated that ‘Hablullah’ means the Oneness (Tawheed) of Allah and the Mastership (Wilayat) of AhlulBayt (pbbut).

Also there is a saying of Imam al-Baqir (as) on the verse:

and be not disunited… (Surah Ale-Imran 3:103)

The Imam (as) said that Allah was knowing that this nation would be separated from its Prophet and they will have difference with him. That is why he stopped them from the difference as the nation which was before them was prohibited. Therefore they were commanded that they should remain united on the Wilayat of Muhammad (S) and his Progeny and should not disunite.

Ayyashi has narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that the ‘Habl of Allah’ is the book of Allah and ‘Habl-e-Naas’ is Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as).

In Majalis of Shaykh Tusi and Manaqib of Ibne Shahr Aashob it is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that: We are ‘Hablullah’ - the rope of Allah.

🍃🕊🍃 Sermons of Imam Husayn (‘a)

A greater part of the sermons of Imam Husayn (‘a) used to be about the stability of truth and determination and firm will for Jihad in the way of Allah. These were the highlights of his sermons:

The Imam (‘a) delivered those sermons at a time when the sky was dark with clouds of political turmoil. In these sermons the Imam targeted the politics of Bani Umayyads and called the people to rise up against them. We shall quote important sermons of the Imam on their particular occasions but here we mention one of his discourses below:

His Eminence (‘a) ascended the pulpit and praised and glorified the Almighty, then invoked blessings on the Prophet (S). Then he heard someone says, “Who is this delivering a sermon?” the Imam (‘a) replied: “We are the successful group of God and the nearest progeny of the Messenger of Allah (S) and his purified Ahlul Bayt and one of the two weighty things that the Messenger of Allah (S) has made us second to next to the Book of Allah which contains all the details and falsehood cannot come to it from the front and from the back and we are depended upon for its commentary and its interpretation does not make us tired. Rather we follow its truths. Thus obey us, as our obedience is obligatory because the obedience of Allah is joined with the obedience of the Prophet. Almighty Allah, the Mighty and Sublime says: “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Apostle and those in authority from among you; then if you quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Apostle, if you believe in Allah and the last day; this is better and very good in the end.”1

And he said: “And if they had referred to the Prophet and the Ulil Amr, those who used to recognize them they used to be attentive towards them, and if the mercy and blessings of God had not been upon you, except for some they all would have followed the Shaitan. And I warn you to heed the pleadings of Shaitan because he is your open enemy. You become his friends in such a way that he says: “No one can overcome you this day, and surely I am your protector: but when the two parties came in sight of each other he turned upon his heels, and said: Surely I am clear of you’”23

The sermon is rich with invitation to attachment to the Progeny of the Messenger of Allah (S) and it makes it incumbent to obey and follow them. ISLAM 101: Learning how to Pray.Part1

The following is the complete method of performing a 2 Raka’at Salah. Read the “Note” at the end to know how to pray a 3 or 4 Raka’a Salah.

1) Stand upright facing the Qibla

2) Make the intention “I intend to perform the Fajr prayer (say the name of the Salah), with 2 Rakaat Fardh (say the number of Rakaats of any prayer – Sunnah or Fardh), for the sake of Allah, I am facing the Holy Kaaba.” Intention need not be said out loud. Saying it in the heart is sufficient.

3) Raise hands to the shoulders with palms facing the Qibla say “Allahu Akbar”. The hands should be within the cloth sheet. They should not be brought out.

4) Do the Qiyam by lowering the hands down and folding them on the chest. This is done by placing the right palm on the back of the left palm.

5) Read the sanaa:

“Subhanak-Allah humma wabi hamdika watabara-kasmuka wata aala jadduka walaa ilaha ghairuk”

(All Glory be to You O Allah! Praise is to You; Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty; there is none worthy of worship except You)

6) Read the Ta’awuz:

“Aoozu billahi minash Shaitaanir-rajeem”

(I seek protection with Allah from the cursed Shaitan)

7) Read the Tasmiyyah:

“Bismillahir rahmanir-raheem”

(In the Name of Allah, Most Kind, Most Merciful)

8) Recite Surah Fatiha:

“Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil-aalameen, ar-rahma nir-raheem, maaliki yawmiddeen, iyyaaka na’budu wa iyyaaka nastaeen, ihdinas-siraatal mustaqeem, siraatallazeena anamta alaihim, ghairil maghdoobi alahim wa ladhaaleen. Ameen.”

[All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Universe, the Most Kind, Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgement. You alone we worship and from You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the straight path, the path of those who You have favoured, not the path of those who earned Your anger, nor the path of those who went astray. Ameen (So let it be O Allah)].

9) Recite any Surah or verses from the Qur’an. For example:

“Qul huwallahu ahad, Allahus-samad, lam yalid, wa lam yoolad, wa lam yakullahu kufuwan ahad”

(Say, He is Allah, The One. Allah is above and all things depend on Allah. He does not beget, nor is He begotten. And there is none like Him).

10) Say “Allahu Akbar” and go into Ruku (bowing). (In ruku fingers of both hands should be together and placed on the knees. The arms should be well joined to the sides and the ankles of both the feet should be together. A woman should only bow to the extend that their hands reach the knees.

11) In Ruku recite the following 3 times:

Subhaana Rabbiyal ‘Azeem

(Glory be to my Lord, The Greatest)

12) Afterwards, stand up in Qawmah position while reciting the Tasbeeh:

Sami Allahu liman hamidah

(Allah listens to him who has praised Him)

13) After Tasbeeh recite Tahmeed:

Rabbana Lakal Hamd

(O our Sustainer! All prayer is due to You alone)

14) Then say “Allahu Akbar” and go into Sajdah. First the knees should touch the ground, thereafter the hands should be placed in line with the ears and the fingers should be close together. Then place head in between both the hands. Both the forehead and the nose should touch the ground. The fingers and toes should face the qibla but the feet should not be upright (Women are not required to place both feet standing on toes). They should be taken out towards the right side. The woman should draw herself closely together and press herself firmly while in Sajdah. The stomach should be joined to both the thighs, the arms should be joined to the sides and both arms should be placed on the ground.

15) In Sajdah recite 3 times:

Subhaana Rabbiyal a’ala

(Glory to my Lord Most High)

16) Afterwards sit upright while saying “Allahu Akbar”.

17) Do the Sajdah again while saying “Allahu Akbar” and in Sajdah recite “Subhaana Rabbiyal a’ala” 3 times.

18) Stand up erect while reciting “Allahu Akbar”. This position will be Qiyam (same as step #4).

19) Repeat steps #7 to #17.

Note: In step #9 recite some other Surah or verses. Then after #17 go to step #20.

20) After the second Sajdah, go into Jalsah while saying “Allahu Akbar”. The woman should sit on her left buttock and take out both her feet towards the right side. Both her hands should be on the thighs and fingers joined together.

21) While seated recite Tashahhud:

Attahiyyaatu lillahi wass-salawaatu wath-thayyibaatu, assalamu alaika ayyuhannabiyyu wa rahamtullahi wa barakaatuhu, as-salaamu alainaa wa alaa ibaadilla hiss-saaliheen, ash-hadu al la ilaha illallahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasooluh.

(All respect, worship and all glory is due to Allah alone. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you. Peace be on us and on those who are the righteous servants of Allah. I testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger).

In this when reciting the word “la ilaha”, join the little finger and the ring finger and form a ring with the thumb and middle finger and raise the index finger towards the sky. Lower the index finger when you reach “illallahu”.

22) Then recite Blessings on the Prophet Muhammad (saw):

Allahumma salli alaa Muhammadin wa alaa aali Muhammadin kamaa sallaita alaa Ibraheema wa alaa aali Ibraheema innaka hameedun majeed

“Allahumma baarik alaa Muhammadin wa alaa aali Muhammadin, kamaa baarakta alaa Ibraheema wa alaa aali Ibraheema innaka hameedun majeed”

(O Allah! Shower Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad just as You showered Your Blessings on Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem. Certainly, You alone are worthy of praise and are Glorious. O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad just as You Blessed Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem. Certainly, You alone are worthy of praise and are Glorious).

23) After this recite the following du’a:

“Allahumma Rabbana Atina fid-dunya hasanatan wafil- Akhirati hasanatan waqina athaban nar.”

“Oh Allah, our Lord, give us all the good of this world, and the good of the life hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the hell-fire.”

Rabbij-alnee muqeemas-salaati wa min zurriyyatee, rabbanaa wata qabbal duaa, rabbanagh-fir-lee wali waali dayya wa lil mu’mineena yawma yaqoomul hisaab

(O my Lord! Make my children and myself regular in Salah. O our Lord! Accept my prayer. O our Lord! Forgive me. Forgive my parents and all other Muslims on the Day of Judgement).

24) As the last step do Tasleem. Turn your head to the right and say “As salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah” (May the Peace and Mercy of Allah be upon you).

Then turn your head to the left and say “As salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah” (May the Peace and Mercy of Allah be upon you). Salam is to be said with the intention of making salam to the angels.

NOTE:-

For 3 raka’at Salah

After step #21 recite “Allahu Akbar” while standing up back into Qiyam position (step #4). Then do steps #7 to #24.

Omit step #9 and #18 & #19 For 4 raka’at Salah

After step #21 recite “Allahu Akbar” while standing up back into Qiyam position (step #4). Then do steps #7 to #18. Omit step #9.

After step #18 follow instructions from step #19. Omit step #9.

ENJOIN WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBID WHAT IS WRONG

Enjoining good and forbidding wrong

AMR BIL-MA’ROOF WA NAHI ‘AN-IL-MUNKAR

AND DO FULFILL YOUR COMMITMENTS.

The Holy Qur’an has explicitly described one of the most important missions of the Muslim Ummah as amr bil ma’roof wa nahi anil munkar – enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil. 

His nafs (soul) tells him or her to follow the heart’s desires, irrespective of whether they are forbidden by Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala) and Shaitan adds fuel to the fire by tempting one to sin.

In order to prevent a person’s heart from being afflicted with such diseases, Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala) has commanded us in the Holy Qur’an to enjoin that which is good (Al-Ma’roof) and forbid that which is evil (Al-Munkar): 

“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining Al-Ma’roof and forbidding Al-Munkar. And it is they who are the successful.” (Aal-e-‘Imran, Surah 3, Ayah 104) 

In a broader aspect, Ma’ruf means monotheism and all the good that Islam has enjoined. In contrast, Munkar means polytheism and all evil that Islam has forbidden. The above-mentioned verse makes it compulsory for Muslim Ummah to promote good, truth, and justice and prevent evil and injustice.

 In another verse of the Holy Quran, Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala) has commanded the same to the Muslim Ummah: “You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf and forbid Al-Munkar, and you believe in Allah.” (Aal Imran 3:110) 

Consider amr bil ma’roof wa nahi anil munkar to be a built-in correcting mechanism in society – just like Microsoft Word uses a built-in Dictionary feature to auto-correct spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. 

Imagine a society being kind to Allah’s creation, eliminating poverty through Zakat and Sadaqah, being just and fair in their dealings, and forbidding evil such as dishonesty, corruption, and indecency. This will not just benefit individuals spiritually and mentally in a personal capacity but it is also for the greater good of society.

The above mechanism works at two levels. The first level is where it is the responsibility of every member of the Muslim society until the Hour is established. It is obligatory upon everyone – rulers and subjects, men and women – each according to his or her circumstances.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever among you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand (by taking action); and if he cannot, then with his tongue (by speaking out); and if he cannot, then with his heart (by feeling that it is wrong) – and that is the weakest of faith.” (Muslim 49a) It is clear that if a person does not even feel bad about an evil, he or she has no faith whatsoever.

Similarly, we are encouraged to support that which is good. One Hadith assures that a person, who persuades another one to do some good deed will get the same reward as the person he or she persuaded. It is best to practice amr bil ma’roof wa nahi anil munkar in one’s own sphere of influence, starting with family and friends.

At the second level of the aforesaid mechanism, this becomes a specialized task: a full-time job for a qualified and highly knowledgeable group of individuals, who guide towards the right path, such as religious scholars. 

Enjoining good and forbidding evil is of so much importance that Luqman, the Wise, made it a pertinent part of his advice to his son, as recounted in the Holy Qur’an. If the Ummah fails to do this duty, it will lead to the destruction of society and subsequently, Allah’s wrath may prevail. Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala) mentions Bani Israel in the following verse who failed to practice this:

“They used not to forbid one another from the Munkar which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do.” (Al-Ma’idah Surah 5, Ayah 79) 

In today’s antagonistic society, it has indeed become very difficult to ask anyone to do good, or more importantly, stop them from committing a sin. Prevailing Islamophobia is not the only hindrance – this has become a more alien concept in Muslim societies. 

Western culture is inculcated so deeply in our minds that we actually believe in “to each his own” or “live and let live.” However, this is one of the major differences between Islamic teachings and the Western practices.

In Ayaat 163-164 of Surah Al-A’raf (7), Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala) has mentioned a group of people who warned another group of people who were committing sins. People asked them not to do so as the sinners will one day be punished by Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala). 

To this, they said that they must, so that there is no excuse against them on the Day of Judgment and maybe the sinners would eventually start fearing Allah (Subhanahu  wa Ta’ala). Accordingly, it is a Muslim’s fundamental duty to preach what is good and forbid evil against all odds.

May Allah help us to fulfill our roles and responsibilities and may we practice what we preach, otherwise we are Munaafiqoon (Hypocrites).

Under the order Amr bil-Ma'roof and Nahi 'an-il-Munkar, it is my duty as a Muslim to advise all Muslim Brothers and Sisters to do GOOD and refrain from doing OTHERWISE.

The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give Zakāh and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. NOBLE QUR’AN, Surah a-Tawbah, 9, Verse (Ayah) 71.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says in the NOBLE QUR’AN, Surah al-Isra’, 17, Ayah 34.

And do not approach the property of an orphan, except in the way that is the best, until he reaches maturity. And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned. NOBLE QUR'AN, Surah al-Isra’, 17, Ayah 34

So, preliminary notes before I lock in and read Stavish's Egregores...

First off, the whole thing seems oddly reminiscent of very poorly appropriated gnostic theology which seems to be a pattern amongst occult circles, probably because it fits in with Neoplatonism and their theology quite well but I really want to stipulate that Archons are a hassle to study and it's not something you can just jerk out a wad and say they're all entirely and fully evil without watering down half of theology.

The second part is that this book is ... odd. A chapter does appear about therapeutic blasphemy, which does feature in occultism - especially with the reverse baptisms of the LHP and the Five Taboo Substances. Based off memory, I think there's a section here that basically just draws on Islamophobia and the whole Saturn Cult theory of Abrahamic Religions which, quite honestly, fits the small NWO theology he's got going on. Age of Aquarius type stuff - arguably worsened by the meme that by acting against the egregore, he's still a servant to it by providing psychic energy.

I can already imagine this buttfucking psychoanalysis which is already going to give me a headache. Then there's the Tibetan Theology which somehow only adds to the entire Hermetic Traditions and the Orientalist Treasure with the Great Sages of the East type deal even though I recall J.o.S taking this route by trying to connect Shaitan Satan to Satya.

Prisca theologia does not excuse you from studying but anyway.
