I had a random idea of Kaycee using the dagger, and then my thoughts spiralled

Maybe an earlier version of Inscryption allowed the player to use the dagger more often, and Kaycee took advantage of it as often as possible, even though she should have fixed the mechanic as soon as she noticed. She's forced to do it when Leshy gets fed up with it and retaliates.

If she could she'd jump him and find the missing eyeballs, but she's not literally in the game (yet), so her movement is very limited. Leshy couldn't just delete the eyeballs, so he stuffed them in his mouth and is storing them in his cheeks like a squirrel (so imagine him in the comic as if he's speaking with his mouth full).

A lot of Inscryption doodles I did after I watched Markiplier play a year ago - but as I type this I’m fucking feral for the game so there’s even more art to appear.

1: Trying to figure out what they looked like to me (this has changed lmao)

3: This is heavily inspired by the FnF song “Plaything” from the Wii Deleted You mod

4: My oc!! Ignore how fuckin angular she is, she was inspired by Ena design wise.

5: I— I love both Leshy and P03 so much so Annie gets two boyfriends 🥰🥰

6: Before now I was in denial about how much I liked P03 - I am no longer in denial :^))

There are two types of Leshy in Inscryption

After playing inscryption and Kaycee's mod non-stop for like a week now I have come to a very important realizations

There are two Leshy's that I have very strong opioins about

The main story leshy: Lonely old man of the forest that only wanted to play cards with the player. He is a forest deity that I would hug if given a chances especially after the ending of the game. And is fun to play cards with even when he pulls the "Wall of Grizzly bears" mechanic.

2. And Kaycee's Mod Leshy: A man op DM that keeps killing me with the most annoying set up of totems imaginable that make it impossible to win certain battles. And has killed me so many times that ever time I lose a battle to him I shout at my switch saying I will revoke his shin privileges...

I wanna go back to play cards with the main story leshy but I want to 100% complete the game!! Which means beating Kaycee's mod numerous times AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I need a hug and some sanity. Does anyone one got spares of either they can give? Cause Holy hell Kaycee's mod is fun but it is using up my brain cells hard lmao

Idk why Kaycee would ever do this, as from what I gathered she likes Leshy's version of the game best (i think?), but I wanted to draw grandpa's death card, and I felt likw her hand would look good holding it.

Started out as me wanting to redraw the "I thought about killing you yesterday" meme with these two, ended up forgetting about that midway through though !

Also found out I draw a lot faster if I simply cut out the middleman and skip the whole "sketching -> lineart" process.

+ Alt version where it's just the background. Kinda proud of how it came out 4 some reason.

After finally playing Inscryption for myself, I can safely say the best strategy for Act 1 is to get the totem with the fecundity sigil (the same sigil as the field mice) and pair it with the squirrel head. Not only is a squirrel card dealt at the beginning of every match, but it also costs nothing to play the card. They exist solely to be sacrificed. And thanks to the fecundity sigil, every time you play it you are immediately dealt another squirrel in your hand that can be played in the same turn. This essentially means you could have unlimited sacrifices if you play your cards right. And unlike the cat card, it won’t take up a whole space on your board that could be better used for combat and/or defense after it’s sacrificed. This, coupled with a few powerful cards I enhanced along the way, allowed me to finally beat Leshy. I’m not even a huge card game person and I suck at strategy, but this game has made me appreciate the things I struggled with more once I found something that worked for me. Highly recommend getting the game if only to play the first act, and keep this in mind if you just can’t seem to beat him.

Photograph of beasts, with mushrooms and leaves, the fair forest master, with moon up his sleeve... Leshy, the scrybe of big creatures and small, does not have big goal, nor call to the all. No, he's roleplayer with masks and a map, of gold, of the fish, the trade and the trap. Tip of the scales, to the left, to the right, the cards sacrifices in tabletop fight. The candle was blown, another was soon, and life, once your own, now card with no boon. So come in the cabin of puzzles and decks, and solve there the story, of tale after hex...

So my younger sister made a poem about Grimora and it’s so fuckin amazing
