my au! zim works in membrane labs!

it all just kinda started when zim started coming over to dib’s more

professor membrane has noticed that „dibs little foreign friend” has quite a brain for science, so after about 2 months of monitoring him and his knowledge about technology he asked zim if he wanted to work with him in membrane labs cuz he knew that it would be easier for zim to work with him than to pressure dib into it. Zim was hesitant at first but saw this as an apportunity to spend more time on hit irken technology aswell so he agreed.

Not long after he was introduced to the whole world as a partner to professor membrane in his studies, of course many of professor’s fans knew that zim had some sort of relationship with dib and made it a running joke that zim and dib were dating (and they were, just not now)

So yes I have OF COURSE read @naffeclipse new fic Apex Polarity and yes, I AM OBSESSED!

So I decided to make a little comic of how I think their "first encounter" might have looked like from Eclipse's perspective.

I can't help but think about how alien and scary we most look to him (especially if there is a history of fasco hunting polar sirens in the past). With all that gear we look like emotionless beings, just observing and uncaring of this ice world. But then when y/n shows up and probably exudes this joy and wonder for his world + shows respect for the creatures and the environment??? Mmh yeah, I can see Eclipse falling for y/n, especially considering how alone he might be...

So yes, that's what I have for today! If you want to read the fic I'll link it right here. I can't recommend it enough, but as always, read the tags so you know what you're getting into! And lastly I also want to @themeeplord beacuse Eclipse's design is basically their design in my style (god I love their design so much, their character/creature designs are the BEST) so all the credit goes to them! i just realized i never talked about this before so here we go !!

if you've been around here for a while you'll probably notice that sometimes i'll post or draw for a fandom for like months straight and then just kinda vanish from posting about it for a while. for example: for the start of my existence on this hellsite (/aff) i mainly posted about south park and hlvrai, then the lego batman movie, batman in general, then- yeah you get the point.

something to know about me is that i'm VERY multifandom (my doc of all the fandoms im in is 3 pages long currently) because of that, i'll mainly post about whatever im hyperfixated on at the time. i haven't left any of the fandoms i previously posted about here, it just wasn't a main focus at the time, thats all :3

however, i will say in terms of south park, it'll probably be a decent amount of time until i draw stuff for it again, as I don't really care to really draw for it anymore.

that being said, heres a lot of my main interests as of now ^^

Sam and Max (special interest, has been going strong for 2 years now and I hold it very close to my heart X3), Invader Zim (special interest, has been going strong for over a year) Gravity Falls (hyperfixation, veteran fan, I've always loved it), The Great Mouse Detective (hyperfixation, probably one of the nichest hyperfixations i've had honestly LMAO), Moomins (hyperfixation, i love these silly guys !!) and lastly, Jekyll and Hyde + The Glass Scientists (most recent one, i combined for simplicity and the fact that tgs is an adaptation of the story anyways)

also if anyone was wondering yes my name comes from max from sam and max

They were both banished to Foodcourtia for messing up the first alien invasion operation and later both sent to the fake mission on Earth...

Only Dib knows that the mission is a fake, but he doesn't tell Zim because he doesn't want to upset Zim and Dib also likes the supernatural stuff on Earth...
