ok Ima say something a little controversial

why do people look at evolution as If it is steadfast knowledge? I mean evolution does have ground, yes, but to say evolution is 100% proven to be true would be false.

I could make the same argument for creationism btw, "Oh but look at all this evidence toward a creator" yes yes evidence exists for both cases but that's not my point

My point is that people blindly put faith in a system of science that is a THEORY, evolution is a theoretical possibility for how the world came to be just as creationism is a theoretical possibility.

As I just pointed out yes there us evidence but evidence is nothing without the big picture. We have no clue how the world actually came to be and we shouldn't be fighting eachother over it.

A true scientist would go out of their way learn everything they can about the known universe and pick up all the little clues before deciding whether or not to support evolution theory or creation theory, it's basic math. (The dyscalcular person says)

All I'm saying is that I believe we let our views of the world get mixed too much into science, of course a Christian is more likely to study creationism and of course an atheist is more likely to study evolution. I'm not saying people don't do otherwise I'm just saying that's the most likely to be true.

Also as people who are not of science, we need to stop blindly trusting the world when it says the earth was made this way or that.

For hundreds of years people believed the sun circled the earth, they even has false evidence to prove themselves correct.

Im not saying that the sun circles the earth, I'm just saying that I believe everything and anything has the chance to be wrong, any if our world views could be shattered at any point in time.

Do non CQL versions of WRH even count as dilfs? Yes, he has the children to technically fulfill the requirements of a dilf BUT his high cultivation means he looks as young as they are. He doesn't have the required old man look in any other version to wholly qualify as a dilf. Lmk you're thoughts, this question has been destroying my sleep

Ok listen. You do make a good point, the entire thing of a dilf is the 'aged like fine wine' appeal of a +40 years-old. In fact, this actually reminds me of the call out posts here about how teens be calling dilf a simple guy who just turned 30.

When it comes to WRH tho, tbh I like to stick to the dictionary definition and accept that, if he has kids, then he's a dad, and since he's a snack, he a dilf --even if he does be looking too young to be one bc his cultivation is too crazy high and for all we know dude could be pushing 60 idk.

Now, in the case of the donghua, I'd argue that he looks around the same age as others like JFM and JGS, so we would have to make the case about them counting or not too. Also, idk if it's the evilness, and maybe it's just me, but there's something about him that doesn't really make him look "young", if you know what I mean.

Like, I would look at him at totally believe that he has teen sons y'know.

I mean yeah, there are no incipient wrinkles or gray hairs, but is this a Mister™ in full right? Absolutely.

i think calling people IP-brained as a response to "ai image generation is art theft on a mass scale" is sort of disingenuous. like sure, probably, but like. if someone makes a design and posts it to their page, and a huge company takes that design and puts it on a t-shirt without permission or compensation, that person would be very clearly in the right for calling them on that and/or taking legal action. of course most people don't take legal action in these cases because it's super fucking expensive which i think adds to my point. IP lawyers are not using tumblr, get new material

Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

I am a constant daydreamer, sometimes to my detriment because it means I put off actually writing the thing. I've been getting better at taking notes when I think/ramble about a story for too long so I don't puzzle something out and then immediately forget it lol

22. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

this is different for all my fics but for See Fire specifically, I love the writing of the Chant, and I love that the major quests in DAI are named from it, so I just decided to do that as well. It felt extra appropriate for Aurelia because obviously all Inquisitors are tied to the Chantry whether they want to be or not, but she's also literally got it stamped on her face.

The specific lines for this title, "She should see fire and go towards Light / The Veil holds no uncertainty for her" are obviously related to her fire magic but mostly they're sort of aspirational/hopeful

62. In [insert fic], is there a deleted scene/idea you wish you could have included? Why did it get cut?

Aurelia and Dorian had a much more extended argument about why time magic doesn't make any sense in the original draft of ch8, but I had to cut it down because it didn't make sense for her to have done that much thinking about magical theory yet. RIP heated discussion of the mechanics of the haste spell

Where are your theses, your hypotheses, your background of established evidence you're building off of? Your plans for observing and further building off of the experiments you plan on watching unfold? Since you're so willing to defer to experimentation, where is your methodology?

Bit late now but I think separating classic who and new who would have been a good idea and a bit fairer.

well yeah, but also that would have been kinda less interesting, i've loved watching certain classic companions narrowly gain victories from what i thought would have been obvious nuwho sweeps (thinking especially about the ian/clara match) and also seeing which classic characters have ended up being winning and iconic (hi ian). tbh if there was one thing i'd change going back to the start, it would be not putting four characters from any category through, because that's what made it possible for there to (technically only potentially but probably certainly) be an rtd-only semifinal and final, although that's also in part a problem of assuming equality across nuwho eras and classic who eras as two broad categories, and then splitting every group across the four corners of the bracket rather than, say, putting two rtd characters into two of the semifinal feeders. idk, there's lots of ways it could have been done differently, but the "unfair" results are also part of the interesting bits for me
