friends if you liked his LINE voice line, then you’ll love this bond story! 🤭🤍 also, this isn’t a full-on pretty translation. but I do have the recording here (because I think especially for 💍, his voice really amplifies the reading experience), and I have like a kinda crude story summary below. I guess there is some translation but it’s definitely not phrased to really fit his character. it’s just to give you an idea what he’s saying.

💍’s like “you wanna get to know me?” then makes a very short intro like “ring schwarz. member of vogel. thats it” nhfkshfhds

he then sighs or takes a breath? and is like “what is it?” and here it branches out to choices!

a friendly handshake: 💍 is like “omg please don’t touch me so suddenly...! …eh? just a friendly handshake? p-please don’t give me the wrong idea…”

theres dust on your shoulder: 💍 gets flustered and is like “i-if that’s the case then just say it so! ………but, um… i’m sorry. and, thank you….”

fix his hair: he’s like “AH- WAIT-! what’s with you all of a sudden.. eh? “theres some hair sticking out”? and then hes like “…i see. sorry about that then… for jumping to conclusions like that…”

in the end he’s like “i’m not really red, this is just a natural reaction.” then he says like “listen, dari’s wish is my command. if he tells me to kill someone, i will do it… no matter who it is. so, theres no need for you to get closer to someone who might kill you, you know?”

That's a really lovely ask, thank you so much! I'm glad you find joy in my answers, I try to put at least some sense into my ramblings 🙂‍↕️

And thanks a lot for these questions, you're always very welcome to ask things! Had to take some time to ponder about my decisions, but here we go:

1. Herzeleid

Here, my decision was made very quick. 'Du riechst so gut' has a very significant meaning for me, being my first proper Rammstein song 20 years ago. The lyrics have a wonderful gloomy 19th century poetry aesthetic to it, very haunting and yet so beautifully worded - the line 'Der Wahnsinn ist nur eine schmale Brücke, die Ufer sind Vernunft und Trieb' is still one of my favourite lyrics Till has ever written. Very close second place would be 'Heirate mich' 🤍

2. Sehnsucht

'Eifersucht'. All the way. My all-time favourite song by Rammstein, great, somehow very taunting (like the "come get me if you have the guts, destroy me if you can"-vibe) lyrics, incredibly powerful sound, and the bass. I feel it in my chest when I listen this song loud enough, which is exactly how I love to experience music.

3. Mutter

This took a while to choose. Mutter is not one of my favourite albums even though it holds some very classic Rammstein songs, but I just don't really feel this album. I'd say 'Adios', since the song has such a great drive to it and I enjoy the guitar solo immensely.

4. Reise Reise

If you'd ask me for my favourite a few months ago, I would have very much voted for 'Mein Teil'. Yet I have to admit that my attention shifted towards 'Stein um Stein'. It's a very dark and haunting song, and the inherent menace and sadness of the song moves me deeply. Richard once described it as a very tragic song about a man who knows no other way to keep the love of his life but to lock her up so she stays with him, and I think about that a lot.

5. Rosenrot

Oh, this album, I love it more and more each day. While I enjoy 'Benzin' and 'Zerstören' immensely, I gravitate definitely towards 'Ein Lied' when it comes to favourites. It's like a tender love song to the fans, a reassurance that the band is there for us when things aren't going well, and honestly: in my personal case, that's true. Rammstein gives me so much strength and comfort. 🤍

6. Liebe ist für alle da

Admittedly my least favourite album, I just can't get into it - there are only 2-3 songs that I find appealing at most. A significant exception, however, is 'Haifisch.' I especially love the lyrics about solidarity even in difficult times, and the song held great meaning for me last year, as I'm sure it did for others in the fandom. It's a song for perseverance and unity 🤲🏻

7. Untitled

This one was very difficult for me to decide! 'Deutschland' is incredibly important and lyric-wise as well as musically genius, 'Radio' is perfect for dancing and holds a significant meaning for me when it comes to the lyrics, but in the end, I choose 'Weit weg'. The synthesizer has a truly hypnotic sound, and the underlying sadness combined with the stalking theme gives the song a very captivating aura.

8. Zeit

Here, I truly can't decide, so for once, I'll list two songs: 'Schwarz' is a song I love a lot, such a melancholic and yet theatrical feel to it, as well as 'Armee der Tristen'. This is a song I feel in my heart, plain and simple.

9. Raritäten

Technically, that's also an album 😌 I'm bringing this up to mention my incredibly beloved 'Wilder Wein'. This song feels like a blend of a dark fairytale world, with elements from the Nibelungenlied and 'The Mists of Avalon' - I'm probably exaggerating here, but as a fantasy/history enthusiast, the song feels as if Till wrote it personally for me :')

10. Remixes

I have to admit, I don’t listen much with the remixes, as most of them don’t really appeal to me. However, I do like the 'Haifisch' remix by Olsen Involtini that served as a sort of closer at concerts, so I have warm post-concert feelings when I listen to it, as well as the Twocolors remix of 'Angst.' This remix leans a bit into the direction of dark/acid techno, which I very much enjoy.

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat: “News of my disciple’s defeat……… and death………”

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat tries to stay calm. However, she loses control of her fury.

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat: “And…… his opponent in that fight was none other than Neo Hong Kong’s Gundam Fighter, Undefeated of the East!!”

Domon: “!?”

Domon is shocked.

Undefeated of the East: “.........”

The Undefeated of the East gives a faint, ironic smile.

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat: “I can't believe it, the fact that you're participating in the Gundam Fight……… How could the previous master have permitted that………”

In the middle of speaking, Lone Fox Seeking Defeat realizes something.

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat: “No, surely not………”

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat thinks for a moment, but then it quickly becomes clear to her.

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat: “I see! Did you follow that old custom rooted in our school?!”

Undefeated of the East: “You knew about that, my elder sister disciple?”

Lone Fox Seeking Defeat: “That's right, after running away from the school, I heard from an old acquaintance of our former master………”

Undefeated of the East: “Is that so………”

With a solemn expression, the two of them become quiet. Domon wonders what's going on.

Domon: “Old custom………? What are you talking about??”

Each with their own thoughts, Lone Fox Seeking Defeat, the Undefeated of the East, and Domon confront one another.

Stalker: “A feud between siblings unfolded around the title of the school's Master……… and healing was waiting at the end of this journey of despair……… However, in a complete turn of events, this has created an even deeper despair……… That’s right……… all in the name of the Gundam Fight……… And now, the circular chain of events between Lone Fox Seeking Defeat and the Undefeated of the East would come to bear on Domon Kasshu's fate as well………”

The Shuffle crew members listen in stunned amazement to Lone Fox Seeking Defeat's story.

Rain: “Domon’s school has that kind of a history………”

Rain unconsciously stops what she's doing.

Likewise, Wong has also absorbed all of this.

Wong: “I see…… So that's how it happened……�� But………”

He looks at the sky above Neo Hong Kong. The colossal corner post is descending further.

Wong: “This is far beyond the scope of my calculations!!! ……… Please do something, Shuffles!!”

Wong turns his attention from Domon and company to each of the Shuffle's battles.

In a one-sided fight, they are being pushed back and struggling.

Shirley: “This is bad, the corner post is dropping faster and faster!”

Bunny: “At this rate, we'll be………”

Janet: “No, Neo Hong Kong itself will be completely destroyed.”

Cath: “If that happens, there'll be nothing left of the Gundam Fight, nothing left of anything………”

Raymond: “Ms. Nastasha, is there anything we can do?”

Raymond looks disconcerted.

Nastasha: “Hmm……… We still need to do something about the barrier!”

All of them are panicked.

Rain: “I wish we could at least use a gundam, but this barrier disables the gundams’ power………”

Then Schwarz’s voice interrupts.

Schwarz: “No! There is a way!!”

Everyone: “Huh?!”

When they look in surprise, they see Schwarz standing facing the barrier.

Schwarz: “It will only take a moment to activate your new gimmicks, right?”

Nastasha: “Y-... yes!”

Shirley: “As long as the signal reaches them, that's all we need.”

Zuisen & Keiun: “That's enough.”

Raymond: “We'll figure out the rest!!”

They gaze at Schwarz with hope.

Schwarz: “In that case, don't let that moment slip by!!”

With that statement, Schwarz pushes both hands against the barrier.

The barrier's shock runs through Schwarz's entire body.

Rain and the others watch him with amazement.

Rain: “Schwarz!!”

Schwarz: “AGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Schwarz endures the shock. He brings both hands close together and thrusts his fingers into the barrier.

Schwarz: “Rain!! You need to discover Lone Fox Seeking Defeat's weaknesses quickly!!”

Rain: “But, if you do that won't you be hurt?!”

Schwarz: “Don't worry about it!! I have German ninjutsu!! I can handle a barrier this strong!!”

With his fingers inserted into the barrier, he tries to create a rift in it.

Schwarz: “AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUGH!!!!!!!!”

His fingers curl back, and his hands themselves begin to turn in the wrong direction.

Rain: “But—!!”

Schwarz: “HURRYYYYYYYYY!!!The corner post is approaching!!!”

The corner post is even closer to Neo Hong Kong.

Rain: “O-... Okay!!”

As she turns away, Rain operates the controls in her hands. Nastasha and the others follow suit.

Nastasha: “Alright!! Let's get our controls ready as well!! Don't let Schwarz's effort go to waste!!”

Shirley: “Got it!!”

Zuisen & Keiun: “Let's hurry!!”

Raymond: “Yes!!!”

They all prepare their control units. With his back to them, Schwarz endures the pain.

Schwarz: “Th-that's right……… That's it!! If it's my hands, there's no need to worry………”

The fingers of Schwarz's hands are warped and disintegrating. Then following that, they are regenerating again.

Schwarz: (My body is made from the Devil Gundam's copy system! So even if my hands are destroyed in the barrier, as long as they keep regenerating the barrier will definitely be torn!!)

Schwarz yells in his mind. However, the barrier's shock intensifies further and engulfs Schwarz.

Schwarz: “!!!!!!!!!!!”

Gradually, his knees begin to shake.

Nika Schwarz Angst.

Been awhile since I posted a fic! Almost a year on the dot, actually. I blame most of my writing on listening to a mix of Christina Perri, Malinda, Maria Mena, and a track from & Juliet. This one kind of just came to me, I suppose you could consider it mostly connected to one of my IkeVil OCs. I had an idea in my head of how the original curses of Swan Lake/fairytales in came to be in the IkeVil universe, and this is just what came of it. Kind of a thought of "what if the 'hero' of the story cursed the villain(s) to suffer for their mistakes?"

Lightly calloused hands gripped smooth and gentle ones, the sound of water dripping around a pair of lovers entwined under the moonlight in the warmth of the summer lake. “So…you think we can really just…run from it all?” The man’s soft voice asked his darling, face buried in the crook of her neck, hands clasped around her back and cradling her like a porcelain doll, his posture like that of a pure black swan bending its head to a mate. “Do you think I would gamble something so precious as you?” The swan’s lover gently cupped a cheek in one hand, and cradled his neck in the other, feeling him relax under her touch. His watery blue eyes closing as he nuzzled into her grip more, seeking that familiar warmth. It was something he seldom felt, but yearned for all the same. His arms tightened around her until she let out a soft yelp, looking down to meet her mismatched eyes and brush the soft hair from her cheeks. That tender gaze behind his eyes was one that couldn’t easily be feigned as he dove in to embrace her until dawn.

With the new morning light came a rather twisted scene. Even the sun hitting the earth didn’t seem to look quite right. There was an eerie silence that took over the clearing where two lovers — or rather one lover — had been confronted by a group of her soldiers, her dearest, and the wicked sorcerer behind him. Blood dripped on the stone under the sunny morn, the swan’s brow creased in pain as he dropped the dagger in hand, staring into the confused eyes of the beloved one he’d driven it into. That confusion turned to a pain that made him want to claw out of his own skin. That pain was then replaced by a fury that froze his blood to ice as she fell to the cold earth. The swan sank down next to her, gently cradling her in his lap as the first tears escaped his eyes, stinging at his skin. He cradled her head in his hands, tears blurring his vision as curled around her in a silent mourning. Perhaps it was there that the saying began — that once a swan fell in love, it could never love again.

Catherine Lamb — Curva Triangulus (Another Timbre)

Catherine Lamb composes complex, heady music. She explores how we perceive music, playing with harmonic structures and intonation, challenging our typical sense of sound. For Curva Triangulus, she joins with Ensemble Proton to investigate not only compositional drama, but the use of unusual instruments in creating (and limiting) the timbral possibilities of her work. The piece has an undeniable and immediate beauty to it, its leisurely place allowing room (or, better, time) for the experiments that Lamb conducts. It provides opportunity for deep listening challenges — interesting moments and unique developments arise everywhere — but it also makes for accessible pleasure, despite the novel and sometimes unsettling tonal work.

Bern's Ensemble Proton offers Lamb the ideal group for this project. The octet includes musicians hungry for the new and experimental with a penchant for playing unlikely instruments. Coco Schwarz's arciorgano — an extinct but resurrected keyboard instrument — might be the rarest and most unusual. The instrument breaks and octave in more than the usual number of divisions. Lamb uses the arciorgano's tonal options as a sort of sonic adhesive, holding the ensemble's varied sounds together. In a context with not only that instrument but also a lupophone, clarinet d'amore, and others, a violin or bassoon could sound downright pedestrian; instead, they sound otherworldly, part of the strange brew that makes up Curva Triangulus.

Lamb writes in her notes, “Elemental concepts around melody and harmony are reconsidered, blurred.” For listeners less attuned to prime qualitative harmonics and the modal challenges developed across “triadic counterpoint” (whoever those people might be), the blur of melody and harmony becomes the most fascinating aspect of the record. Melody remains subordinate to harmonic movement, but in the interplay of sounds and tones, melody peeks through in unexpected ways. The sonic shifts never become linear, but essentially melodic movements arise, occasionally passed between musicians. The lead “instrument,” might be a harmonic instead of a violin, but those structures give shape to musical phrases that cohere into, if not melody, at least melodic sensibility.

The deep concepts of Curva Triangulus make the album's nuances difficult to access, but the album never relies on its intellectual demands if listened to as a straightforward album. The tonal structures and uncommon instrumentation give it a particularly idiosyncratic feel, but everything sorts itself out into a spellbinding aural geometry. When the ensemble hints at a church organ six minutes in, no one will anticipate a turn toward hymnody, but when it drops into alien space informed by triple harp, no one will feel jarred either. Lamb's work provides a series of intellectual tests, but also a memorable stretch of focused wonder.

Something not Warhammer-related: Revro, the professional Imman-player.

In Germany, the role-playing game system DSA ("Das Schwarze Auge" - "The Black Eye"), now also forty years old, is more popular than D&D. It has much more complex rules (both blessing and curse) and is more geared towards building a character that fits into the incredibly detailed world and interacting with the creatures and circumstances there. The power level is lower and the characters rarely become overpowered heroes. On the other hand, there is the opportunity to explore all kinds of well-developed areas, cities and political contexts and you can easily be a travelling blacksmith, a cartographer or a wonderfully useless, incredibly nerdy mage. Or a trader, a mercenary who is actually a cook (or vice versa) or a tattoo-artist.

Of course, this also means that an average DSA adventure is not a dungeon crawl.

Which led to our game master "gifting" us an NPC who is a celebrated Imman player in Havena the not very mage-friendly town we are currently involuntarily staying in. Imman is a very popular team sport, distantly related to hurling. Revro, that's his name, plays for the Havena Bulls and has developed a crush on my clueless mage. Much to the continued amusement of the rest of our group.

Doesn't matter - my mage is happy. Finally, someone who is willing to listen to his elaborate explanations of old-puninian number magic!

And because I had so much fun with Revro, I sketched him and hope we can keep him.
