So… let me explain myself before anyone says anything: THIS WAS FOR HOMEWORK! Sure I didn’t HAVE to pick this exact pose, and I certainly didn’t HAVE to pick the fruitiest character in the entire Pokémon franchise to draw in said pose, but when presented with the opportunity to lovingly render Wallace Pokémon in a pinup and be seen as productive for it, who among us wouldn’t do the same thing? I have no regrets, everyone shut up.

Also, in the example our professor gave for what the final presentation of our work might look like, he included his own gay Hazbin Hotel ship art, so I have a feeling I won’t be docked any points for this. I might even be given a medal.

Oh, and in case it wasn’t obvious, I should mention that the prompt for the homework was to “render a full body of a video game character in a dynamic pose”, and it was kind of implied that we were supposed to do it in the style of the game we chose, but I only kind of did that. I also had to do some preliminary sketches from reference to find a pose I liked, and made these in the process:

Since I haven’t really been making a whole lot of personal art recently, I might end up posting some more of my schoolwork here as I finish it, because a lot of the assignments we’ve been getting this term have been pretty fun! We’re finally getting into character design, which is awesome, and next up we’re going to be doing a group project where we’ll be making a game demo based off Little Nightmares! Lots of potential for cool art here, so I’ll keep you all posted >:3

I emerged from a trance after 4 days of making this. I had to do a comic on the cell cycle for my AP-Biology class and realized I could connect it to rain world and well... the rest is history. thank you so so much to my friends @riant-draws and @anicrue for your advice and tips! Helped me out so much. Super proud of it so I thought I'd share here too lol

Does anyone have any tips for doing schoolwork at home when you have chronic fatigue/fall asleep easily? I can't do in person school because of my disabilities, but online school is a nightmare because of my fatigue.

Week 2 of my homework from last term! I’m just showing what I did for 3D this time because my finished product for the 2D assignment of that week was genuinely terrible! That’s not even me being hard on myself, it was actually really bad; just take my word for it lol

On week 2, we were tasked to design and model a fantasy mushroom, but since I’m not too confident with prop design, I went more in the direction of just making a mushroom creature (specifically I was trying to make a mushroom gnome) rather than a ‘mushroom’ mushroom. I like my design for this guy a lot, but as usual, I’m still not the best at 3D modeling, so this turned out a bit rough. That being said, I think I did well for my current abilities at the time, and I’m still decently proud of this! Just, uh… don’t ask me for my UV map...

Well, at least I can say I achieved something even if it meant I was severely lacking on story updates for you guys! I'm still trying to work on a pesky little thing called balance, but it's unusually hard. I didn't end up getting any writing done on my week off. Instead, I cleaned the house, did homework, and watched an overabundance of amazing Nick Marini and LOtR content.....All equally important things if you ask me.... my priorities are nowhere they should be, but at least they're somewhere. RIGHT????
