I’m a huge fan of Rune Factory. It seems sort of niche bc when I ask other gamers (I’m a casual gamer, don’t ask me to be on any teams 😂) about it they don’t really know what it is. Playing a cute little phone game and falling in love with all of the NPCs

Chi, my long time friend who's really into reading and is a little bit of an airhead

Moca, my other long time friend who is Very Particular about How Things Should Be and gets annoyed easily but still loves me

Floyd, the dedicated train station attendant in a tiny town that trains don't actually stop at

Benny, the workaholic who is the only employee at the town hall, who deals with all of the paperwork and still somehow manages to also write and print the local paper

Yori, the owner of the general store who isn't very talkative until you get him onto the subject of fish, at which point he'll tell you anything and everything. Sometimes if I'm up early I can join him at the pier and go fishing together

Pipi, Yori's incredibly energetic daughter who gave me a home made fishing rod when I had nothing to my name and is always excited to see me

Elfie, who works the night shift at the general store and doesn't like being bothered too much

Paige, Elfie's very friendly daughter who's artistically inclined and likes to draw and make carvings

Dawn, who feels like a dearly loved aunty, who works in construction (she's a beaver) and feels really grounding to chat to. She's assertive and caring and I adore her

Rosemary, who isn't very talkative when she's not working but is super knowledgeable about plants

Momo, who runs a beautiful teahouse and is very passionate about resting properly when said teahouse is closed. She also gets concerned about Benny's habit of overworking and just wants him to calm down and enjoy some tea

Bobo, the very loud bear who can't remember my name for the life of him and has decided not to even try anymore

Ratthew, the older man who runs the local bar and is very social and caring

Scarlett, the singer who is fearless in front of crowds but struggles with small children and holding conversations with people she's not close to

Draper and Olson, the door-to-door salesmen who represent candiru Corp - they let me watch ads in exchange for carrots to spend in-game. Best way I've ever seen to have ads in a game

Camille, who also lets me watch ads, except for even more in-game currency. She's a chameleon who hides around town and you get this option if you find her

Anyway, this is a love letter to all the characters in Tsuki's Odessey. They're all so flawed and beautiful and I love them dearly

Helena Poison is a designer who spends her weeks performing drag in Toronto, and her weekends taking out-of-town gigs. She is a skilled makeup artist who knows her way around prosthetics and special FX makeup. Her drag career started when she grew tired of doing makeup for others, and her friends pushed her to step onto the stage.

Jaylene Tyme has been a drag performer based in Vancouver for more than 30 years. Her show, Legends Cabaret, celebrates the art of drag and world class celebrity impersonations where she transforms into a variety of iconic divas including Dolly Parton, Cher, Marilyn Monroe, and Barbra Streisand. Jaylene’s legendary status has garnered her the title of Empress 35 of Vancouver and Chairperson of the International Court council.

She had an appearance in season 2 of Canada’s Drag Race where she took part in the makeover challenge and met her drag mother, Icesis Couture. She sold out her one woman drag comedy play, Are You There, Margaret? It’s Me, Gahd, three nights in a row at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Kristyn Wong-Tam is introducing a private member's bill today that would allow the attorney general to temporarily designate addresses — such as where a show is taking place — as community safety zones, and anti-LGBTQ harassment, intimidation and hate speech within 100 metres would be subject to a $25,000 fine.

Wong-Tam was joined at a press conference today by drag artists who say that organized protests at their performances are negatively affecting their livelihoods and have them fearing for their safety.

Scarlett Bobo, who has competed on Canada's Drag Race, says she has been subject to hate crimes and hate speech in recent weeks and just wants to feel safe and valued in her work.
