Okay, there's one thing that I will NEVER understand, and it's that WHY DOES KRISTIN DIE IN ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DSMP/SBI FIC THERE IS??? WHY IS THERE ALWAYS THE NEED TO KILL HER OFF SOMEHOW? like. She's either sick, dead, the goddess of death, non-existent, or never appears. Like. I WANT MUMZA CONTENT MAN.

Dark sbi where Tommy accidentally kidnaps Philza, not knowing he’s a crime lord. And he swears it was an accident! He just, you know, panicked. Tommy and Tubbo were just minding their own business slapping graffiti on a building (practicing their art skills, you see) when a cop started screeching at them, apparently not an appreciator of the fine arts. And since Mrs. Innit would KILL him if he got arrested, Tommy panics and takes a hostage, shouting at the cop not to take a step further or he’ll kill the random civilian he’s ducked behind so he can’t get shot.

Meanwhile Philza isn’t entirely paying attention, and realizes there’s suddenly a small child sheltering behind him from a cop. He gives the cop the nastiest look imaginable, which causes them to back off enough that Tommy thinks his plan is working. Once the negotiations start Philza is baffled by who would have the gall to kidnap him, and so poorly at that. Frankly it’s an umbrage to face the work of an amateur.

Well, till the abductor asks his name. “…do you not know who I am.?”

Tommy squints at the guy. His suit looks kinda fancy? Is it better or worse for him if he managed to randomly capture some Wall Street schmuck? “Hell no,” he hisses. “And I don’t care. I’m a dangerous guy alright? You don’t know what I’ll do to you.”

Philza’s laugh causes the cop to advance, wagering the situation isn’t intense. But because Tubbo’s ‘Yes And’ game is a force to be reckoned with, he casually pulls out a nerf gun (painted to look real for a prank on Ranboo) and trains it on the cop. Philza is positively delighted as he realizes just how amateur his abductors are. Oh this will be a riot to watch.

With more bluffing than Tommy knew he had in him, promising the hostage 20 bucks if he pretended to go along with it, the pure manic chaos bleeding from Tubbo’s eyes and ample gun waving, and creative use of spray paint in the eyes of the chasing cops, Tommy and Tubbo somehow manage to book it. For some reason the hostage keeps up with them instead of escaping. Huh. Can you develop Stockholm syndrome that fast? Tommy would ask, but he’s panting from sprinting. And as they live in an unjust world, hostage guy isn’t even breaking a sweat despite the three piece suit.

“You’re not going to get far on foot,” Philza murmurs. As corrupt and useless as the cops are for most things in this city, he doesn’t imagine there’d actually be that much fuss over a random man being kidnapped, but he wonders what they’ll do if spooked a little more. It’s been amusing thus far. The boys bicker, then elect to force him to drive as neither have licenses. They don’t ask him to drive to their homes, instead some secondary location. Smart, albeit Philza will definitely know both addresses within the hour.

While Tommy is busy ‘threatening’ Philza about the consequences of not getting them there, Tubbo just leans over from a bag of chips he’s munching on and offers them to Phil. Tommy rounds on him, less for showing exploitable kindness to the hostage and more for eating the Doritos that were meant to be his. Philza almost chides them for revealing each other’s names, but decides it might just be easier to hand them notes at the end of this. So far they aren’t getting a passing grade in abduction. But he has to admit it’s far more entertaining than the ‘business’ meeting he was planning to attend.

(Techno, meanwhile, hasn’t heard from Philza and is going BALLISTIC trying to figure out who kidnapped him. From the police report Phil just kinda went along with it, and looked terrified after a private exchange with the abductor, which has to mean the threat is ungodly to convince the Angel of Death to submit. Techno’s about to have a panic attack imagining the unthinkable horrors happening to his best friend, and is only holding it off by doing atrocities about it. This is the THIRD secret criminal organization he’s ripped apart in the last two hours and PHILZA ISNT HERE EITHER!?)

Philza has decided he likes his kidnappers. They’re not experienced in the slightest, but they make up for it with bravado, determination, and a certain lack of rationality that is necessary in the line of business Philza is in. Yes. They’ll do nicely if given a little guidance.

It’s half an hour before either of them notice Philza is driving aimlessly and they don’t recognize the city around them at all. “Hm? Next time I don’t recommend you give the hostage control of the vehicle. I could have immediately driven to the police station.”

Tommy frowns, almost more nervous at the implication the obvious blackmail would go unused. “…why didn’t you?”

“There’s no love lost between the cops and I. And even more importantly, you amuse me. I like your…potential.” He grins at the soft click of Tommy covertly trying the handle and finding the car doors locked. “Getting out at this speed is almost always fatal, Tommy.”

Tubbo lifts the muzzle of the fake gun towards him. “Let us go right. now.”

Philza leans over, ruffling Tubbo’s hair. The teen gulps at the glimpse of the holster Philza’s jacket was hiding, sharing a wide eyed look with Tommy. “I’m not exactly scared of foam bullets, mate.” He chuckles lowly at the tension freezing both of them. “Relax. You’ll be home by dinner. After you went through all the effort of kidnapping me to avoid trouble with your parents, I don’t intend to ruin it. I like you two; you have spunk I don’t see often. After all, it takes a lot of guts to kidnap the leader of the Syndicate.”

Bedrock Bros prompt where techno is phils service/guard dog. Phil eventually adopts 1 year old baby tommy. Techno isn't too fond of the new baby. Doesn't engage with him much if he doesn't have to, this doesn't bother Phil as long as they get along. Sometime around tommys 2nd birthday they go to the park forna picnic, tommys running around nearby while Phil sets stuff up, techno closeby. Phil tries to keep tommy in his vision but tommys fast and he's still setting up the picnic area so tommy slips a but farther out of Phil vision. But not technos as he's been subtly watching the toddler. He's the one who sees the strange man hovering nearby. He alerts Phil but before the man has even turned to assess the situation techno is off like a dart across the grass. The man has just gotten his hands around tommys arm when techno sinks his teeth into his forearm. Growling and yanking the man away from his baby human he refuses to let go no matter how hard the man hits his muzzle. There's other people shouting nearby, tommys crying, and techno feels familiar hands on his harness gently yet firmly pulling him away from the attempted kidnapper. There's a police officer approaching them as a couple civilians keep the man from running off, having seen the whole ordeal and vouching for Phil that techno didn't just attack this man and that he was trying to kidnapped a child. Techno loops tommys small body with his own large furry one and licks his tears off his cheeks. They go back to the blanket and techno doesn't leave tommys side the rest of the walk home. Sleeping in tommys room outside his crib, tommy reaches arm through the bars and threads his little fingers in technos fur all night. Needless to say techno got lots of treats and pets for a while.

You know what I appreciate about DSMP? And the fandom? The platonic character relationships. Clingy duo, Emerald duo, and Quackity and Charlie (Dap duo?). These pairs are all important to the series and none of them are romantic. And the majority of the audience reads them as platonic and embraces that.

AND it’s not put in the box of being “sibling-coded” or anything (something I find annoying in fandoms sometimes lol)

It’s probably a result of the CCs being friends. I feel as though if DSMP was some sort of series with actors, the audience may be compelled to ship these duos based on their closeness. Which wouldn’t be inherently bad or anything, but I do adore the portrayal of intimate angsty fluffy complex relationships that are platonic. And I appreciate that most of this fandom is on the same page as me about them, feels nice. Y’all are really cool :)

tommy as a singular shapeshifter who is now following the other sbi members around as they do villainy,

but he's following them as different animals and has them all convinced that they've suddenly turned into Disney princess's because of the amount of animals showing up around them that are just far too chill to be normal

omg im on the floor the potential is killing me

the fucking wholesome shit you could fit in a story with this combo is too good

tommy successfully manages to follow them back to a safehouse or their actual home and he just starts hanging out there all the time instead of following them around while they commit crime

a member of sbi coming back from a real tough mission to find a cat just sitting on their couch and watching their tv, theyre too tired to question who brought the cat there and they just collapse to the unoccupied part of the couch and they wake up with a purring cat cuddled into their side

the potential for tommy messing with them?

someone screams about a big ass spider in a room and they want help but the spider is gone by the time someone else comes to look and tommy just does this over and over

someone's secret stash of snacks goes missing and they know that no one else knew where it was

You and phil were chilling on the couch, your head gently rested on his shoulders, watching TV.

“see, i don’t know why he didn’t-“ phil said, before the sound of your snoring filled his ears. “er, mate?” he said, lightly tapping your head, to no response. phil turned the TV down, and tried to make you more comfy without awaking you. when one of his noisy sons would come in, he would tell them to, and i quote, “shut the fuck up, are you fucking blind?” in a whisper yell. when you woke up, he chuckled, and asked, “are you done?”, and proceeded to cackle at your horrified face

you laid on top of techno, arms draped around his sides, like this

you were really tired that day, and really wanted some rest. everyone else was out at wilbur’s gig, and techno was your best option.

“eH?” was all techno said when you asked if you could cuddle with him. “why would i do that?” was the next thing

eventually, you bribed him by letting him read you greek mythology, and after some begging, he finally gave in and, will rolled eyes, let you climb onto him.

you listened to him ramble on about how cool some of the gods were, his voice putting your brain to rest. as he rambled, he noticed your breathing getting quieter, and you stopped moving.

“hey? yn?” he whispered, before finally realizing you were sound asleep.

both mortified and in appreciation of you, he quietly sat there, letting you rest. every once in a while he’s tap on you, to see if you had woken up yet, but your still body didn’t budge.

when the boys got home, their ruckus woke you up. and techno was fully prepared to fight them.

WILBUR

you came into his room after school, tired and worn out of the day.

“hey.” wil said, strumming his guitar, smiling.

“yeah, cmon.” he said, setting his guitar down on the ground and laying down, patting himself like a chair.

“on you?” you questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“of course.” wil said, smiling. you laid down on him, quickly feeling comfortable and at home.

Tommy doesn’t have the capacity to think or to vocalize with the pain screaming in his body. He does barely make out the sound of a rumbling, nearly familiar voice as he slips back into the deep. “....’s alright…. I’ve got you, kiddo….’ve got you…”

I want a fae sbi au with naive child tommy where instead of him on purpose avoiding all the fae tricks, its on complete accident because this is just how tommy lives and talks to people

he is unaware these strange forest people are even fae, maybe he doesnt even know what a fae is

like he is accidentally technically very polite, while also managing to talk to them like they have never been talked to before, and it throws them off

maybe it even throws them off so much that they don't notice that the more conversations they have with tommy, the more tommy ends up accidentally getting them to promise him things without them even noticing it

small things but still it traps them into doing them by fae rules and magic, because they have to also be polite and not lie, which means when they say they will do something they have to do it

Au where Tommy is one of the oldest vampires to exist, easily over 3000 years old, but his body is permanently one of a 16-year-old and is incredibly separated from modern human society. Sbi (who the eldest (Phil) is like, 500) see him and think 'Awwweeee what a cute new-born fledgling, we have to look after him!' when they see him doing causal Tommy Tuesday activities, like idk running around in the sewers while teaching a bunch of opossums to do his evil bidding. He doesn't even speak any modern English he's that separated from modern society.

Guys I thought I was free of the SBI hyperfixation but it's grabbed onto me once again and I've been revisiting my old favorites and honestly that Era of content was so incredible. The variety, the talent, the unique stories for everything. Uhg amazing.

I just wish some stuff wasn't soured over time, but it's still incredible works
