As for your question, she is officially dating Megumi, and has had some hookups with Toji, but not in the original story. You can take it as an AU I keep. She's not cheating on Megumi, to cut it short 🫶🏻

I'm admittedly not really familiar with Alcock, but I'm interested to see her version of Kara! (I'll also admit that my general feelings on all the DC movie/Superman Legacy news is: 'okay, seems cool' but I *am* going to be insufferably particular about Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, as it's easily one of my favorite comics, so anything less than a perfect adaptation is simply unacceptable.) Could you talk more about your Jason-Elektra agenda? 👀 I see parallels and similar things, but I'm curious about your take.

There's hardly anything in depth to discuss here because my knowledge of Elektra is way more limited, tbh ^^U. I know very little about comics!Elektra, though she's on my list for when I start getting deeper into Marvel comics (... soon...), and I'm sure I'll be able to really get into it once I do. I'm a pro at this finding parallels shit by now.

The one I know best is the one from Daredevil season 2/The Defenders (the only part of those shows that matters to me. I'd say I struggled to care whenever Elektra wasn't present or referenced on screen but it was no struggle, I just didn't care and I own that :P).

And the link between them in my brain is basically, these are my two ultimate favourites in each 'verse. They're both very deadly and have complex backstories with the hero side and they both have death-and-resurrection experience, and I love them to pieces and would maim for them 🫀

After actually reading RHATO last year, there are also some parallels there between the LOA/The Hand when it comes to post-reboot canon, but you guys know that New Earth and I are like, 99% exclusive xD

Also, I'm not a jaydick shipper but I know you are and. Well. Daredevil season 2 and Brothers in Blood is an easy parallel to draw here lol. Person from the hero's past comes to new york to dress up and have fun and cause trouble. Daredevil season 2 is good and cared about Elektra and about the relationship but u know. You can't have everything and BiB already put the line "It's almost as gauche as it is outlandish" in Jason's mouth.

Lastly, I think Elektra is exactly a kind of person Jason would instantly like if he knew information about her. 10/10 no notes, she's friend-shaped to him. I don't have as good a grasp on her and Jason has like a 50/50 reciprocity rate on friend-shapedness but Elektra surely wouldn't care about the usual objections lol.

The frown on Carmichael’s face only grows as Sasha continues to put themselves down.  He tries to look at it from the former dancer’s perspective, but the priest’s mind is too clouded by his own faith to fully put himself into his companion’s shoes.  Carmichael would have held fast to the idea that God had other things planned for him.  Carmichael chews on the inside of his cheeks to refrain from asking Sasha about their own faith. 

Thankfully, God blesses Carmichael with something funny to say.  His frown flips upside down and he leans back comfortably in his seat.  “Oh, no, I’m not suggesting you give up on your new career!” A deep hum of amusement rumbles in his throat.  “I’m suggesting you hone your skills: Why not attend clown college? Oho!” Picturing Sasha in facepaint and a rubber red nose was quite funny to imagine.

I MEAN I could forgive people for missing it given how much both Jon and martin flip flop back and forth on whether they are trying to get revenge or make things better for everyone. In some of the domains it's implied that killing the avatar makes things better and in some of them it doesn't. I don't necessarily have an issue with any of this on a characterization basis but it makes for less narrative momentum in a season that desperately needed direction imo.
