He is joined by Josh Davis as 'Javert,' J Anthony Crane as 'Thénardier,' Allison Guinn as 'Madame Thénardier,' Melissa Mitchell as 'Fantine,' Matt Shingledecker as 'Enjolras,' Phoenix Best as 'Éponine,' Joshua Grosso as 'Marius' and Jillian Butler as 'Cosette.' alright since you so kindly asked I will do my diddly darn best (sorry in advance this'll be long)

joe iconis wrote the black suits as his college thesis. the first production of the black suits premiered in 2008 and included nick blaemire as chris, jason tam as john, jason sweettooth as brandon, lance rubin as nato, krysta rodriguez as lisa, annie golden as mrs. werring and sarah glendering as the now no longer existing megan thurser. the show is about a group of boys in a band who want to enter a battle of the bands competition, but have to work out struggles within the group.

joe's next musical was rewrite. rewrite is a musical comprised of three stories (which do link together) called nelson rocks, miss marzipan, and the process. everyone in the cast played several roles, this cast being jason sweettooth, lauren marcus, badia farha, aj shively, nick blaemire, and lorinda lisitza. rewrite only had one production in 2008.

2008 also saw the plant that ate dirty socks. the plot is self explanatory. the show had only one production. the cast included lauren marcus, jason sweettooth, lance rubin, lorinda lisitza, and jeffery omura

then in 2010 came bloodsong of love, a spaghetti western about a musician who plays a song that literally kills people, going to save his lover from an evil bad guy named lo cocodrilo. this musical had one production in 2010 but is one of the most loved shows within iconis and family. this show's cast included eric william morris, lance rubin, mk lawson, and katrina rose dideriksen

in 2012 THE BLACK SUITS RETURNED BABEY!! this is the cast you've probably seen with ben platt as chris, rounded out by jason hite, harrison chad, will roland, annie golden, and sarah cetrulo

in 2013 THE BLACK SUITS RETURNED AGAIN!! a few of the cast members stayed but coby getzug was chris, veronica dunne as lisa, and jimmy brewer as john. we have sadly not heard from the black suits since.

then be more chill came! be more chill had its first run at two river theater in 2015 and everyone and their mother knows the cast and plot so I wont go over it

2016 was the birth of broadway bounty hunter! the show is about an older actress struggling to look for work who gets recruited by a team of bounty hunters to defeat the evil mac roundtree. this cast had george salazar, jason veasey, kourtney keitt, badia farha, alan h green, jeff mcarthy, jamie kasey patterson, shannon tyo, and anastacia mclesky

and then be more chill blew up.

despite what you may think, be more chill WASN'T the first joe iconis musical to play in 2018! love in hate nation had its premiere at the beginning of that year. the show is about girls juvie rebelling against the system and trying to escape. the cast included talia suskauer, jasmine forsberg, katie griffith, amina faye, morgan hecker, lena skeele, murphy smith, mickayla mckasey, kevin dort, and maria wirries.

then be more chill came back off broadway with will roland leading the show and britton smith, tiffany mann, jason tam, troy iwata, talia suskauer, and cameron bond joining the cast.

be more chill transferred to broadway and morgan siobhan green, anthony chatmon ii, and joel waggoner joined the cast.

broadway bounty hunter came back off bway in 2019! emily borromeo, jasmine forsberg, jared joseph, brad oscar, christina sajous, omar garibay, emilie battle, and ian coulter buford were new members in this production.

love in hate nation is currently set to have a run at two river theatre this fall with lauren marcus, emerson smith, ryan vona, and tatiana weschler joining the cast.

that is where the iconisverse currently ends

some other things:

-you may have heard of the hunter s thompson musical. it is currently in development but is slated to have a run at la jolla playhouse sometime in the future

-you also may have heard of things to ruin or the joe iconis rock and roll jamboree. those are both concert style musicals with albums and I recommend listening to them

-another iconis musical in development is punk rock girl which he is writing with rob rokicki who wrote the lightning thief
