Remembering thins i did when i was first reading lotr is so funny.
When i was reading one of the first chapters i was like "uhmm... Sam and Frodo are kinda gay... NO. I can't ship every friends that are nice to eachother!" And then happends the Rivendel scene where Sam blushes for holding Frodo's hand and i'm like "Okay, they are gay."
