Sometimes being a Sakura fan and looking for a fanfic is difficult. Some of you don't like any aspect of her as a character and it shows.

And some of you have never watched the anime or read the manga, which makes every attempt to recreate the character and her trajetory horrible.

And some of you should sort out your feelings about Sasuke, because I'm tired of reading fanfics where the author is dissing a traumatized and neglected 12 year old. If you need to turn all of Sasuke's attitudes into an insult to Sakura, put it in the tags. Same goes for Naruto, you're so edgy, congratulations!

And some of you, finally, need to stop investing in the tactic of giving Sakura a tragic past to fix Kishimoto's sexist presumptions in the construction of how Sakura acts.

Honorable mention to the fact that you could not exclude the importance that all the people on her team had in, like, the whole story.

Three years have passed since the fourth war. Konoha has transformed, and team seven along with it. Kakashi has settled into his role as the sixth Hokage, Sakura runs the first ever Children’s Mental Health clinic with Ino, Naruto has taken on a genin team and is engaged to be married, and Sasuke… Well. Sasuke is far away from the village. At the end of their first turbulent year together Sakura asks Sasuke for a break and he readily agrees, departing Konoha that same night. But when he returns an old enemy returns with him, and Sakura is thrown into a situation she couldn’t be more ill-prepared for: trapped fourteen years in Konoha’s past, with no idea how to return home.

Been reading this fic since its early days and just went back to it--the first thing I did when the Naruto hyper fixation hit again. It has a couple of typos but the author encourages people to point them out and updates pretty frequently (definitely more than me lol).

Fanbinding: Dirt and Ashes, or: The One-and-a-Half Body Problem by @tozettastone

In which Sakura carries half of Hidan across two countries, leaving a trail of blood, bodies, and other people's legs.

I made this book for @aetherseer as part of an exchange we did, and I had such a great time making it. I saw this fic on their list and remembered reading it ages ago and was like I CAN DO SOMETHING WITH THAT! and here it is.

The cover is Colibri bookcloth, handpainted with acrylic (all of the lettering is freehand- easy when the font you choose is irregular). @pleasantboatpress suggested including a quote on the spine since the title wasn't working there, so I got to add the absolutely banger quote from this fic "Your pain is sacred. Your suffering is beautiful."

For the edges, I used fluid graphite and polished and waxed them. On the endbands I used my Japanese silk thread for the first time (its a dream tbh).

For the typeset, I leaned in hard on the blood sacrifice aesthetic, creating the Jashinist symbol for the front page (and also the cover) and using a font aptly called "Bloody Scratch." You can't see them here but for paragraph breaks there are little scythe.

Akatsuki! Sakura au  🌸  Randomly got inspired one day with this thought while I was out with my mom and I just had to draw it. Didn't rush it though and only worked on this during my free time. This is also my second attempt bc I just wasn't vibing with the first one. It bothered me for 2 days until I finally gave in and re-drew it.

I don't like recording myself and I still haven't figured out timelapses so I just saved each stage separately and put them in one video ☝️ ☝️ *cough* Lineart stage is still my favorite.

This was originally supposed to stay as grayscale, except for the eyes, but I decided to overlay it with color in the end.

option 1: to clarify this is the kind of threesome where the guys are fucking each other nasty in addition to both of them fucking you nasty. suo tops exclusively, reader bottoms exclusively (piv), sakura bottoms for suo and tops for reader

option 2: this is also gay fyi (sakura is fantasizing abt suo just as much as he's fantasizing about you). it turns out I can't envision these guys heterosexually

I could do another fanfic rec specifically for what you stated. Though I'm not so sure that I have read or know any fics of that sorts 🤔 Can innocent/naive type be similar as oblivious too? Because there are some fics I know of described like that. If you referring innocent/naive as literally innocent, I kind of have a few in mind too!

🌸📕 I don't have much though, but if anybody have some crumb of suggestions about innocent/naive Sakura fanfic of any rating, feel free to drop your recommendations!
