Double-Tuna Dared and Merchanged

Commissions Open I have a Ko-Fi Social Medias Characters (Sakura Izumi, Cynthia Chuseio) © @CentaurWorks Sakura and Cynthia were dared by their friends to see how long they could last before they turned into their merform. Cynthia happily agreed and dragged Sakura into it. At first, they thought they were lucky, feeling like they were resisting the magic for a few seconds. Until they were caught off guard and transformed while standing. The two began frantically waving their arms, Sakrua looking embarrassed by the change and how she can't use any magic to keep her from falling face first, while Cynthia thought they might have had more time before changing. Either way, one way or another, they're going to fully soaked by the ocean. While looking at H2O gifs on Tumblr (there is or was an account that kept posting gifs from the show), I ended up getting the idea from seeing something similar from one of the earlier episodes in season 1. It's a fun scene and I wanted to put Cynthia and Sakura in that scenario. It was nice getting kinda down how the magic change looks for the two, sure it might alter again but I do really like how this came out with the decaying spiral and the magic rim. It was also a really good idea to have the merform and the swimsuits on a different folder layer. Almost forget to do the flapping arms effect since this piece was on and off for a few weeks, but it helped so much with them trying to frantically keep standing.

I draw whoever I feel inspired to draw, but if that's mostly male characters, I guess blame Kishimoto for writing women with the depth of a puddle of piss. But here's some! Don't mind the order, some are from 2006, others from 2024...

Commissions Open I have a Ko-Fi Social Medias Character (Sakura Izumi) © @CentaurWorks Sakura is many things: A Ballerina, A Violinist, and an angel with deformed wings. But one thing she is the most proud of is being a magic user. With a wand given to her by her father, and the knowledge of years of self study, she is uses her magic for more simple things with dreams of more ambitious spells at her command. One day for sure, but for now, showing off a powerful glowing vortex makes her feel great. There is one thing I've been wanting to do for a while and that's actually doing a good showcase of her magical abilites. Most visually up to this point has been magical missups but I wanted this one to be truely be... well, magical. Most of the inspiration here stems from the artist Yoneyama Mai. I love how this came out, I was worried trying to balance the swirl and the lighting but I think I was able to find a really good balance and made this piece come off spectacular. The eyes capture my attention the most thanks to the lighting and the green, they standout quite a bit XD

I know this has nothing to do with Sasusaku, but I never understood why they pair Itachi with Izumi since to me she is very similar to Sakura.

Hi, Izumi only was mentioned in the manga. The episodes where she appeared are not canon, they are just fillers. The same thing with Itachi novel, it is not canon. We basically do not know how Izumi was but considering that the manga calls her Itachi’s girlfriend/lover we can say she was not like Sakura. Uchihas look at skills and personality and non of them look at Sakura in any romantic way even Sasuke who is her husband. Still, even if Izumi was his lover, Itachi killed her because he chose peace and Sasuke. Uchihas, expect Obito, do not prioritize their women.
