What would happen if a chick had nothing to imprint on, not even hatchmates, or if it couldn't see anything? What would that chick act like?
I don't know, as that would be very cruel to do to a baby, so no one would or should do it.
#asks#anon asks#this is a great example of why fiction is allowed to be dark or horrible or cruel by the way#because humans are terribly curious creatures#we have questions like this to ask#and it's much safer to answer them in fiction than inflict it on anything in the real world#âhey what if this happenedâ âthat would be real fucked upâ#is the basis of so much fiction and media#blind chicks by the way imprint by sound and touch still#and locate food by the sound of others#so you'd be talking about total sensory deprivation#not just visual impairment#and total sensory deprivation would just kill them

hey do you guys know about
the history of the bus?
they started as an "omnibus" a horse drawn two stop back and forth along a pre determined route! then they added more stops! they messed with the size of the omnibus and the number of horses until they hit the right size for the route!

(blease note these are intra-city buses, stagecoaches would go outside the city to specific locations and they generally required a reserved seat)
they basically SLAPPED A ROOF AREA to get roof passengers! double deck omnibuses!

then we get MOTOR OMNIBUSES! as the petrol engine is getting better! for context the first motor omnibus ran in 1899 - this is 13 years after the patent for the first petrol engine car (1886), 74 years after the first steam public railway in england (1825) and 36 years after the london underground was opened (1863). by 1911 there were no horse-drawn omnibuses owned by the london general omnibus company!

AND THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! (please look at the number of BUSES and INDIVIDUAL CARRIAGES [usually hired cabs] and PEDESTRIANS)

a lot of places switched to electric trams in the 1910s, public transport became reliant on the comparatively more efficient light rail or tram systems. the trams gave way to electric buses in london in 1930! they were much less dangerous than trams as people did not have to walk right into traffic to get on em

then as engines got more efficient trolleybuses were switched with petrol engine buses

then in the 1950s more people got cars and they began dominating the streets and creating.. traffic and. traffic laws. and stuff.
thanks for coming to my whistlestop bus lesson hope u have a brilliant day
#i went to a transport museum and I've been thinking about it CONSTANTLY lfjsjdhsj#this is london perspective btw since it was... the london transport museum#long post#it was like. in the 1910s a battle between buses and trams/light rail systems#and buses tended to be safer bc of the nature of traffic laws and pedestrians back then#so london prioritised buses. but people were going on the underground too bc it was muuuch faster lol#anyway. transport! fascinating#and short-stagecoaches existed before buses did for intra-city travel but they tended to be by hosuehold rather than location#also expensive. well omibuses were expensive too. this is very high level fldbfjdjfj

Day 2: Home
sometimes it's hard to think of the shadow of a castrum as "home", but... it's much harder to deny the effect the Shroud and its people have had on him.

Well color me traumatized, I survived a massive thunderstorm that was predicted to be tornadic, which at the time of said trauma I felt incredibly guilty for since i was the one to suggest we go to a place with a basement since we don't have one here and my mom's friend invited us to her house with a basement and she lives like 3 minutes away from us and i assumed the storm was still quite a ways out. So we were on our way to shelter when the massive wall of wind, rain and hail overtook us on the highway and was strong enough to push our car sideways even when it was still. And I was scared and hella overstimulated as well because it was so loud that we couldnt hear each other speak due to the high velocity of the hail and rain hitting the windows. If i wasnt already afraid of high winds before well i sure am now brotherđ«
#legit was sure shit was gonna get serious this evening#but were all okay!#house is okay#but power lines and trees were knocked down everywhere#so the entire reservation was without power for like 2 hours#i shouldnt of waited so long to suggest we move to a safer location tho#that was on me#tw trauma#tw fear#tw storms#tw negative#personal

It's not that serious, but there haven't been any big avalanches this winter and this storm is just feeling like... something
#tfw you think you're over your trauma#but then it just reeeears its head back up#I think for my location in the town I'm about as safe as can be#but it's been over four years now and construction on safer avalanche dams haven't even begun#a lil on edge ngl

Why do I keep accidentally maiming spiders đ
(Okay itâs only happened one other time and in neither instance was it definitive that I was the offender but still)

A little flower crab spider. Found it attached to my broom by a thread when I was sweeping pollen (which to be fair was almost exactly the same color and shape as this thing from a distance). Carefully detached it once I saw it move in a way that pollen generally does not, but it was already missing two front legs on his right side. Neighbors might have seen me staring at my cupped hands and whispering âIâm a monsterâ for a minute or so.
Two items of good news here: 1) it fairly easily scaled the plant I set it onto and ballooned itself away so itâs okay for now, and 2) at its current (tiny) size and juvenile appearance, itâs pretty unlikely that itâs had its final molt yet, so apparently the legs might grow back!
#spiders#eight-legged friends#also I found another young western widow in my driveway#she was in a safer location than this little crab guy so sheâs fine lol

so: masking: good, unequivocally. please mask and please educate others on why they should mask to make the world safer for immune compromised people to participate in.
however: masking is not my policy focus and it shouldn't be yours, either. masking is a very good mitigation against droplet-born illnesses and a slightly less effective (but still very good) mitigation against airborne illnesses, but its place in the pyramid of mitigation demands is pretty low, for several reasons:
it's an individual mitigation, not a systemic one. the best mitigations to make public life more accessible affect everyone without distributing the majority of the effort among individuals (who may not be able to comply, may not have access to education on how to comply, or may be actively malicious).
it's a post-hoc mitigation, or to put it another way, it's a band-aid over the underlying problem. even if it was possible to enforce, universal masking still wouldn't address the underlying problem that it is dangerous for sick people and immune compromised people to be in the same public locations to begin with. this is a solvable problem! we have created the societal conditions for this problem!
here are my policy focuses:
upgraded air filtration and ventilation systems for all public buildings. appropriate ventilation should be just as bog-standard as appropriately clean running water. an indoor venue without a ventilation system capable of performing 5 complete air changes per hour should be like encountering a public restroom without any sinks or hand sanitizer stations whatsoever.
enforced paid sick leave for all employees until 3-5 days without symptoms. the vast majority of respiratory and food-borne illnesses circulate through industry sectors where employees come into work while experiencing symptoms. a taco bell worker should never be making food while experiencing strep throat symptoms, even without a strep diagnosis.
enforced virtual schooling options for sick students. the other vast majority of respiratory and food-borne illnesses circulate through schools. the proximity of so many kids and teenagers together indoors (with little to no proper ventilation and high levels of physical activity) means that if even one person comes to school sick, hundreds will be infected in the following few days. those students will most likely infect their parents as well. allowing students to complete all readings and coursework through sites like blackboard or compass while sick will cut down massively on disease transmission.
accessible testing for everyone. not just for COVID; if there's a test for any contagious illness capable of being performed outside of lab conditions, there should be a regulated option for performing that test at home (similar to COVID rapid tests). if a test can only be performed under lab conditions, there should be a government-subsidized program to provide free of charge testing to anyone who needs it, through urgent cares and pharmacies.
the last thing to note is that these things stack; upgraded ventilation systems in all public buildings mean that students and employees get sick less often to begin with, making it less burdensome for students and employees to be absent due to sickness, and making it more likely that sick individuals will choose to stay home themselves (since it's not so costly for them).
masking is great! keep masking! please use masking as a rhetorical "this is what we can do as individuals to make public life safer while we're pushing for drastic policy changes," and don't get complacent in either direction--don't assume that masking is all you need to do or an acceptable forever-solution, and equally, don't fall prey to thinking that pushing for policy change "makes up" for not masking in public. it's not a game with scores and sides; masking is a material thing you can do to help the individual people you interact with one by one, and policy changes are what's going to make the entirety of public life safer for all immune compromised people.
#dyspunktional#cripple punk#actually disabled#cripplepunk#a lot of these are major concessions for me personally as i'm an anarchist and loathe to support further concentrations of state power#but if you're gonna be operating within the structure of the system. here you go. handing you a cheat sheet for what you should demand.

â my protector

Tengen needs your help in trying to locate his wives on a mission, and Sanemi is furious.
Get me a man whoâs only soft for us, statđ«đ
Pairing: Shinazugawa Sanemi x f!reader.
Warnings: 18+, established relationship, reader is a fellow hashira, jealous Sanemi (for literally no reason), possessiveness, rough sex, slight degradation, fingering, multiple orgasms, breeding, creampie.
Word Count: 4.2k.

All Sanemi could see was red, fiery red as he roamed the halls of the Butterfly Mansion, ignoring the pain in his right arm from the wound Aoi had just patched up moments earlier.
âShinobu will kill you if she finds you drawing your sword in here!â Aoi called after him, but Sanemi could care less as his eyes sought out the Sound Pillar.
He had just returned from a three-week-long mission to find out that Uzui had enlisted you for help on one of his missions. Practically offering you up as bait to try and find his wives who had gone missing, like that was even your problem. And Sanemi knew you were always so eager and willing to help, it was something he loved and loathed about you at the same time.
The rage continued building inside him as he pulled open another sliding door aggressively, the wood gliding back from the force as he skimmed another empty room before continuing further through the mansion.
âListen to me, Shinazugawa.â Aoi huffed, followed after him as one of the only people inside the mansion who werenât scared of the white-haired man, âI told you Shinobu wonât be pleased to find out youâre breaking all her doors.â
âFuck her,â Sanemi rolled his eyes, âWhereâs Uzui?â
âIf you wouldâve actually stopped for five minutes to let me explain, instead of being such a jerk,â Aoi crossed her arms over her chest with a huff, âHe left with her a few hours ago. Said it couldnât wait much longer, that his wives may be in dangerââ
âHow the fuck is that her problem?â Sanemi growled, âSo he isn't here?â
âNo, but I would advise you don't follow him. Your woundsââ Sanemi ignored Aoi, already halfway down the hall as he marched towards the entrance, determined to find you on his own. It was when he stepped into the courtyard that he saw Uzui coming in by the front gate with a wide smile on his face.
âAh, my crow told me you were back!â Uzui made to step towards him to finish the conversation, but Sanemiâs sword was already drawn as he stepped towards the larger man, âPerfect timing, my friend!â
âYou fucking left her there?â Sanemi barked, âWhy are you back here?â
âI came to get you at the request of your lady love,â Uzui grinned as Sanemi curled his lip in irritation at the pet name, âShe made me promise to tell you as soon as you got back from your mission because she wouldnât be around. And I thought you'd prefer a personal greeting.â
âWhy the fuck are you sending her on your missions anyway,â Sanemi continued, ignoring Uzui's grin, âAnd leaving her there!â
âIt hasnât even been twelve hours,â Uzui shrugged, standing in place even as Sanemi stepped towards him.
âThatâs already twelve hours too damn long, you prick.â Sanemi drew his sword as he made to lunge towards his fellow hashira.
âSheâs probably safer there than sheâd ever be out in the field,â Uzui dodged a blow with the hilt of his sword, the guard barely protecting his hands as he used his body weight to push the Wind Pillar back.
âProbably?â Sanemi roared, âSheâs probably got sick fucks like you all over her right now.â
âOh,â Uzuiâs lips curled into a cocky smirk at the admission, standing upright as he pushed some fallen hair away from his eyes, âSo thatâs itâ youâre jealous.â
âI ainât jealous, you fuckwad.â Sanemi grunted as he attempted another slash towards Uzui, knowing it was serious when the wind user hadnât even bothered to use his power.
âSure seems like it,â Uzui scoffed, taking another step back to avoid his attack, âNothing is stopping you from visiting her, you know. Sheâs only a few towns across and I'm here to take you right to her.â
âOh, youâre taking me to her,â Sanemi spat, âRight fucking now.â

âSomeone is asking for me?â You raised a brow suspiciously at the implication. Wondering if this meant the demons had realised that you were in fact a slayer intent on taking their head. Your stomach swirled in trepidation as you tried not to show any fear, smiling at the young girl by the door as you bowed your head.
âYeah, and frankly Iâm glad,â She clung to the belt of her kimono, âHe looks scary!â
âI definitely donât want to spend the night with him,â Another girl grimaced, âI donât think Iâd make it out alive.â
You frowned, worried that you wouldnât have time to access your katana to holster it beneath your kimono. Instead, all you had was the small dagger strapped against your thigh, which you were certain wouldnât be enough to protect you from the attack of a demon. But at least it was better than nothing, knowing he wouldnât attack until you were at least secure back inside this room as you bowed your head. Following her down the stairs to the entrance of the establishment, feeling a cool breeze tickle your ankles from the open door and curtain flowing in the wind.
Your heart stilled when you noticed the familiar man standing by the entrance, glaring at anyone who dared look his way as you felt your chest swell with familiarity. You hadnât expected to see him here this night, and you certainly hadnât expected him to be asking after you.
âIs this the girl you were asking after, my Lord?â
âYes,â He grunted as the Madame motioned him to step forward and follow you back to your room.
You had to stop yourself jumping him in the foyer, wanting nothing more than to wrap your arms around him and cling to his broad shoulders.
Feeling the heat practically radiating from his body as you slid open the sliding door to your room, stepping to the side to allow Sanemi to follow before sliding it shut. And in an instant, his rough hands were grabbing hold of the fat at your hips to pull your body against his, your lips meeting in a bruising kiss.
Your hands reached up to thread through his messy hair as the scent of the woods mixed with his natural sweat invaded your senses. He clearly hadnât bothered to bathe when he returned from his mission, far more concerned with finding you.
âWhat the fuck do you think youâre doing?â He spoke against your lips when you finally pulled away for air, still holding onto you as your nails dragged against his scalp, âI had to come home to find out youâre helping Uzui?â
âTengen needed my help,â You murmured, and Sanemiâs nose scrunched in irritation at the use of the Sound Pillars' first name.
âTengen,â He mocked the pitch of your voice, âHas three fucking wives that can help him, I only have one.â
âTechnically,â You parroted his tone, giving him a cocky smirk as you felt his fingers press into the skin at your hips, âIâm not even your wife.â
âYouâre as good as,â Sanemi scoffed as he stole another kiss, âAnd Uzui would do well to remember it.â
âHis wives are missing,â You mumbled sadly.
âSo does that mean heâs looking for a fourth?â Sanemi frowned at you as you couldnât help but smile and shake your head at his jealousy.
âNo,â You lowered your voice to a whisper, âHe hasnât heard from them for a few days, the letters have stopped comingâ and he thinks something bad may have happened to them.â
âWhy didnât you tell me?â Sanemi couldnât lie that it had hurt to find out from someone else that you wouldnât be there upon his return, whether it was jealousy or the fear of losing you he was unsure. But either way, it left him with that familiar sense of dread that pooled in the pit of his stomach and threatened to boil over.
âIâm sorry, but there wasnât much time,â You did wish youâd sent your crow to warn him, but Uzui had promised you that he would let Sanemi know. Especially since you were doing this for the sake of his wives, âHe needed my help, so I offered.â
âYouâre far too nice.â Sanemi shook his head, using his grip on your hips to pull you into another sultry kiss.
âI thought thatâs why you loved me.â You teased.
âNo,â Sanemi scoffed, âI love you for your perfect ass,â He spanked your cheek for emphasis, âEverything else is either a bonus or a crux on my life.â
âYou pig.â You scrunched your nose as Sanemi couldnât stop himself from stealing another kiss.
âIâm kidding, sweetheart,â Sanemiâs eyes softened as he reached up to cup your face in a calloused palm. His thumb stroking gentle circles against your cheek as you leaned into his touch, âBut you really should stop putting yourself in harm's way.â
âIâm a hashira,â You replied simply, âItâs what we do to protect others.â
âProtecting others doesnât mean becoming a whore.â He spat, although you knew there was no malice there. The harsh tone covered up the fear and dread he felt in your gut at the prospect of something happening to you.
âAnd yet here you are, at the whorehouse requesting me by name.â You smiled back, relishing in the pink hue that dusted his pale cheeks.
âI just donât want to lose you,â His tone sobered, resting his forehead against your own as he stared down into your eyes, âWhat a pitiful existence it would be.â
âYou wonât lose me, Sanemi.â You wrapped your arms around his waist to pull his body against you, feeling his semi-hard cock press against your hip. The time without you made even more conspicuous when he's now surrounded by the comforting scent of you again.
âDid anyone touch you?â He immediately pulled back, concern evident in his features as he looked you over.
âNo, Iâve been fine,â You shook your head, âTheyâve mainly had me sitting down for tea with travellers passing through.â
âGood,â He pressed a kiss against your forehead in relief as he exhaled softly, âYou have no idea how much I missed you, sweet girl.â
He peppered kisses along the curve of your jaw as you tilted your head back to give him more room. Your hands smoothed along his collarbones before dipping lower to trace patterns against the marred skin that scarred his chest, pressing your fingers into the ridges as you felt the tacky sweat clinging to his skin.
âI missed you too,â You whimpered gently as his teeth found your pulse point, biting down on the sensitive skin as his tongue lashed against it.
Sanemi bullied his muscular thigh between your parted legs to keep you steady against the wall as he shamelessly fiddled with the belt of your kimono. Letting the fabric fall open as he drank in the sight of your bare skin beneath, his firm hands immediately paw at your bare sides. Noticing the small dagger that you had holstered against one of your thighs as he ran his fingers over the handle of it in satisfaction.
âThatâs my girl.â He murmurs, âNot planning to use that on me are you?â
He teased, pushing it back into the holster as he moved his hands back up the curve of your hips towards your chest. Truth be told, he was relieved that you had some form of protection in here. Especially when there was the chance that a demon was responsible for the spate of missing persons in the area.
âIt depends if youâre nice to me or not,â You mused.
âIâm always nice.â The words coming from Sanemiâs lips alone were enough to have a melodic laugh rumbling in your chest, as for most, Sanemi and nice were complete contradictions.
âLiar,â Throwing your head back in a pretty laugh that had Sanemiâs heart rattling against his rib cage.
âI mean, Iâm always nice to you, arenât I?â Sanemiâs thumbs stroked the underside of your breasts as he delighted in the way your body responded to him, curving your back towards him as your bare cunt pressed against the flat of his thigh.
âWe shouldnât,â You murmured, âNot hereââ
âLet me have this, sweetheart,â He hummed, leaning down to capture one of your pebbled nipples between his lips as he sucked hard, âI am a paying customer, after all.â
In fact, he was going to get that money from Uzui for his pure subordination.
âWhy pay for something you can get for free at home?â You teased as he afforded your other breast the same attention, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin as you let out another airy moan.
âMy girl wasnât there when I arrived home, and I had heard the girls here were beautiful,â He played along, âApparently thereâs one with the best fuckinâ pussy.â
âOh yeah?â You gasped as you felt his fingers press against the indents of your thighs, dangerously close to your labia as you bucked against his leg. Giving your clit some slight relief as Sanemi continued forward, his thumb brushing through the wet slick that coated your folds as it drooled out of your neglected hole.
âYeah,â He repeated, pulling away from your breast with a pop as he found your clit. Pressing sloppy circles against it with the calloused pad of his thumb as he watched you shamelessly grind yourself into his touch, âApparently sheâs already fucked into the shape of another guy though.â
âMust be a lucky guy,â Your eyes rolled back, knocking your head against the wall when you felt two of his thick digits slip inside your tight hole with ease. Scissoring them to loosen you up as he pulled back to watch you inquisitively through half-lidded eyes.
âThe fuckinâ luckiest.â Sanemi grinned as he felt your walls throb around his fingers. He deliberately curled them towards the spongy spot inside you that he knew would have you seeing stars as he began to focus each roll of his wrist against it.
His name continued to spill from your lips as he kept his movements poised and focused, his rough thumb kneading circles against your clit as he worked you towards your release. No one knew your body better than he did, and he knew after being pent up for so long how little effort it would take to have you dangling on the edge of your release.
âFuck, Sanemi.â You moaned, already feeling yourself dangerously close to falling, âIâm gonna cum.â
âThen cum.â He spoke as though it was the most obvious thing in the world, and his blase tone immediately had your cunt clenching around him as you swan dived directly into your bliss. The pleasure surged through your body hard and fast as you came undone, his darkened eyes focused on your movements a he kept his fingers pressed against that same velvety spot. Following the wave of your hips as you rode out your release, unrelenting against the sensitive area as he already had you hurtling towards a second.
It was too much, and not enough at the same time. Your pliant walls throbbed around his slick digits as you wished for something more, something bigger.
ââNemi, fuck me please.â You whined pitifully.
âSuch a filthy mouth on such a pretty girl,â He teased, but he pulled his fingers away from your sopping heat, lifting them up to the light to spread them as you noticed the silvery webs of your release clinging to them as he pushed them between your lips to taste yourself.
You tried to speak, but the pads of his fingers against your tongue muffled the words as you cleaned them off. His lips curled into a satisfied smile as he pulled them out of your mouth, dragging your glossy bottom lip down in the process as both hands immediately reached for his belt.
âWhen we get home I am fucking you like you deserve.â Sanemi spoke coolly, âNot some quick fuck in a whorehouse.â
âI deserve everything you give me, 'Nemi.â You smile up at him lazily before watching him tug his pants down, revealing his fat cock to your prying gaze.
You immediately reached for it, and he let you. Hissing when your smaller palm wrapped around the girth of him, giving him a teasing jerk that had his nostrils flaring and his jaw locking. Your thumb swipes over the swollen tip to gather the pearl of pre before smoothing it down his length, delighting in the choked grunt that rumbled at the back of his throat.
âIs that so?â He continued, âSo bending you over the moment I get you home will be deserved,â His voice darkened, his own palm joining yours against his length as he tightened your grip on his cock, holding your hand steady as he fucked himself into your fist, âYou tease.â
âFuck,â Your cunt throbbed around nothing at his suggestion, as you instinctively spread your legs further apart, âPlease, 'Nemi.â
Sanemi curled a palm beneath your thigh to hoist it up against his hip, spreading you open for him as you guided the leaky tip of his cock between you. Stroking it against your drenched folds as you coated him with your essence, moaning when the swollen tip nudged your puffy clit. Feeling yourself growing more impatient as Sanemi pulled his hips back to tease you, pushing your hand away from his cock as he wrapped himself in a fist. Pressing the head against your tight entrance as he felt your hole tremble against him, trying desperately to coax him in as he indulged himself with your reaction.
ââNemi, donât be an asshole,â You pouted as you tried to canât your hips forward, feeling the tip breach your entrance before he was quick to move his hips back. More than content with teasing you, despite being in such an open, compromising place.
âIf I were an asshole Iâd leave you unsatisfied like this to search for the demon myself,â He goaded, pressing his hips forward once more.
âSanemi,â You whined in irritation, âDonât tease me, please, itâs been too long.â
He didnât give you a moment to think before he was bullying his cock inside your tight cunt. Your inner walls stretched to accommodate his girth as he moulded you to the shape of him once more, reminding you of exactly who you belonged to. The sensation stole the air from your lungs as you could do little but cling to his broad shoulders as he afforded you a moment to adjust to his size, dragging himself from your velvety walls before canting his hips forward again. Setting a languid motion as he slowly rolled his hips against you.
âSanemi,â You sighed in satisfaction as you felt whole once more. Too many lonely nights were spent dreaming of this as you felt him finally bottom out, the coarse hairs at the base tickling your clit as you bit down on your bottom lip.
âWeâre in a whorehouse,â He mused, still sluggishly rolling his hips into you, âIt only seems right that I treat you like one.â
Your cunt clenched around his cock hard at the notion, something that didnât go unnoticed by Sanemi who grinned in satisfaction. His fingers tighten their grip around your thigh as he takes this as his answer.
Sanemi is brutal as he fucks into you, not sparing you a moment's peace as he uses you for his own gratification. The sound of skin against skin echos the small room as his balls slap against the curve of your ass with each forward cant of his hips. The ferocity of his thrusts has your breasts bouncing and your thighs crying out for some relief as you struggle to stand upright, thankful that Sanemiâs strong body has you pinned against the wall as he fucks into you.
âOh my god,â You cry out, nails digging into his skin as he maintains his pace. His other hand squeezes at the fat of your ass as he angles his hips, the curve of his cock drags against the spot inside you that he knows will have you seeing stars as the blunt tip kneads your cervix.
âLook at me.â Sanemi growls, his warm breath fanning your face as he keeps a consistent pace.
Your eyes meet his and youâre certain youâll cum under the intensity of his gaze alone, your cunt clenches in retaliation as he continues to thrust into your sopping hole. Each sultry moan he pulls from deep in your chest has him rolling his hips with more vigour, eager to have you repeat them as he works you towards your climax.
Itâs pitiful really, how easily he has you submitting to him as you already feel the telltale signs of your climax ebbing in your pelvis. The pressure builds up as it nears breaking point as Sanemi pushes into you with more ferocity, using your body for his own means as he works himself to his own release.
âIâm going to leave you pumped full of my seed,â He growls against your cheek, his chest heaving as he feels his balls begin to tighten, âLeave it drooling down your thighs when Iâm finished with you. So that everyone knows who you belong toââ
You knew this was a direct attack on Uzui, and the fact that heâd handpicked you for his assistance on this mission. Even though there was nothing in it beyond securing the safety of his wives, it had Sanemi oozing with jealousy and he was intent on reminding the Sound Pillar that you were not his plaything.
âDo you also need a reminder of who you belong to, sweetheart?â Sanemi spoke lowly as he fucked into your pliant walls, slipping a hand between your connected bodies to press sloppy circles to your clit.
âNo, âNemiââ That familiar sensation throbbed between your thighs as you teetered on the cusp of your climax.
âNo? Then who do you belong to?â
âYou, âNemi. Youââ You choked out, leaving messy red lines against his chest now as he pressed harder against your clit.
âLouder.â
âYou, âNemi! Itâs always been you!â You cry out, certain that the rest of the floor could hear you as you began to gush around his cock. Your hips bucked wildly as he pinned you in place, keeping his thumb firm against your clit as he watched you ride out your climax. Indulging in the debauched noises that escaped from between your pretty, bruised lips.
âGood girl,â He snarled before moving his hand from your clit to resume a damn near savage pace. Rutting hips against your own messily, working himself towards his own end as he felt the way your walls continued clenching around him in the aftershocks of your climax, âSuch a good girl for me.â
He arched his back so he could look down at where your bodies were connected, watching the way his thick cock disappeared inside your velvety walls. And the creamy ring of slick that youâd left around the base of him, the silvery lines matting into his pubes as he felt his balls begin to seize. Certain he wouldnât be able to last much longer before giving a few more sloppy thrusts and emptying his balls into your warm, wet cunt.
Sanemi stayed buried inside you, feeling the last spurts of his orgasm surge through him as he coated your walls in thick, white spunk. Cherishing the final few flutters of your walls around him as you both came down from your highs, peppering kisses against your face as you placed a palm against his chest to feel his racing heart, the dull thump of it soothing you as you felt your thick lashes begin to flutter.
âDonât fall asleep, sweetheart.â Sanemi rasped, starting to pull himself out of your spent cunt as you whined in objection. Trying to tighten your thigh around him to keep his hips in position as he grinned down at you; pressing an apologetic kiss to the side of your lips before looking down to see the mess of your combined release stringing against his length as the silvery lines split apart, âIâm sorry, Iâve gotta.â
You knew he had to go, Uzui was probably still waiting for him on a rooftop somewhere. Hopeful that youâd have some news to share with Sanemi about the whereabouts of his wives, but you felt the regret begin to pool in the pit of your stomach as reality settled back in.
âIf you want to leave with me, Iâll take you right now,â He said as though it was the most simple thing in the world, âBut if you want to stay in Iâll be watching.â
You didnât have to tell him your answer, he already knew. Placing a final, lingering kiss on your lips as he held you in his arms, âNothing will ever happen to you as long as Iâm around.â

Got a request: Jinx x Piltover reader who comes to the undercity a lot to see some action and excitement with Jinx thinking theyâre from there only to find out that theyâre from topside.

[Arcane preference zaunites] with a s/o from Piltover (viktor, ekko, silco, vander, jinx, vi, sevika)
In less than a week, Iâve gained 500 followers and over 20 requests, so Iâll ask you right away to please be patient. English isnât my first language, and I donât think Iâll be able to post more than two or three headcanons a week (since I also draw). Iâm sorry to keep you waiting, but I just ask for a little patience. In the meantime, if youâd like to support me, you can follow me HERE (bluesky) even though I havenât started posting seriously yet, or you can leave a tip HERE. That said, enjoy!
Viktor:
- The most versatile on the subject. Heâs the first one who is constantly around the people of Piltover, studying and having his room at the academy, which is even located in a wealthy area.
- Generally, he doesnât pay much attention to someoneâs origins, but as the relationship grows more serious, memories of his early academy years become more vivid.
- Viktor is a chill guy, until heâs no longer chill, (at least the original one).
- Most heated discussions are likely to revolve around politics or events in the city. But as long as you donât call the people from the Undercity âbeasts,â âcreatures,â âmonsters,â âbeings,â or âanimals,â his anger wonât be directed at you.
- At some point, he wonât remember anymore that youâre from âdifferent neighborhoods,â and since he needs a hand carrying things to the academy, heâll start asking you to accompany him to the Undercity when he needs to make purchases or pick up pre-ordered items.
- And although it might scare or intimidate you at first, it wonât take long for you to get used to it.
- Although sooner or later, youâll learn to change your clothes before going down to Zaun.
Ekko:
- The first meeting with Ekko is straight out of a book: you get caught in a crossfire, and before you can even begin mentally writing your will, an arm grabs you around the torso and pulls you away at such a high speed that you feel like throwing up.
- He canât take people directly to the hideout, but he can offer you assistance as soon as youâre somewhere safer.
- This is why, the second time he saves you, he canât help but joke about how it almost seems like you put yourself in danger on purpose, and that you could ask him out in a less dramatic way.
- Of course, heâs just joking to break the tension, but when you actually propose it, even just as a way to repay him, itâs the beginning of the end.
- Between your outfit and the fact that, having run into you twice in a crossfire, you were in some pretty dangerous places, the last thing he expected was for you to ask him to meet up at the bridge and then show up dressed like a Piltie.
- Before his meeting with Cait and the one with Jayce, this wouldâve been a breaking point; he wouldnât have shown up and wouldâve just gone back. But now, even if heâs not thrilled, heâll at least come over to complain that you didnât tell him you were from the upper city.
- Heâs resigned to this fate, but he still remains a bit suspicious and on guard, not knowing your political stance, why you were down there, or how you see the people from his city.
- Even as you become closer, heâll never stop teasing you about your background. Youâre drinking, and you drop your cup? âWhat a strange way Pilties have of drinking.â
Vander:
- Going down to Zaun without stopping by the Last Drop is a waste, which is why youâre lucky enough to run into the Hound of the underground right away. Not only is he one of the most influential people, but also one with a lot of connections.
- At Vanderâs suggestion, you stay at the counter, and he uses the opportunity to ask you a few questions, curious: for example, why is someone from Piltover down in Zaun alone at that hour? What do you study, if you study, or what do you do for work, if you work.
- Vander is extremely sociable, and since he handles negotiations, he doesnât hold hostility toward upper-city residents, though itâs rare to see them in these parts.
- Itâs not even about flirting; he just wants to keep chatting and make sure he wonât have you on his conscience. He asks you to wait until closing, checks in on the kids to make sure everythingâs okay and says goodnight, then walks you to the bridge.
- The more regular your visits to Zaun become, the more the other regulars at the Last Drop start to recognize you and get used to you, making that place quite pleasant. And then thereâs the deal with the bartender: if you offer him a good chat, heâll treat you to a good pint of beer.
- The toughest part of getting close to Vander is learning that heâs a single father to four kids, and seeing the hostile and shocked reaction of the younger ones when they find out youâre not from their city.
- But hate is taught, and even if it takes some time, they slowly start to get used to you. Maybe they wonât jump into your arms, but if you decide to stay over, theyâll make room for you or bring you something to dry your face with, in strict silence.
Silco:
- This man, though he may not look like it, is the embodiment of patience.
- Itâs his goons who bring you to his office, and the first time, all it takes is a quick glance for him to know youâre not a spy, a rival, a drug addict, or a threat.
- Silco kills, but generally not without reason. So, the first time you have a heart-pounding panic attack from being dragged there, you get off with a warning: if they catch you poking around his business again, it wonât go so well for you.
- But today, Jannaâs on your side, and youâre safe.
- The issue is much simpler than it seems: if you live in the Undercity, you know which places to avoid and which gangs control which areas. But if youâre just a foolish Piltie who likes wandering outside your own city, the odds of ending up in one mess after another are high.
- Thatâs why, the second time they catch you near one of their shipments, his goons already have their weapons drawn.
- This time itâs not even Silco who spares you; instead, a firefight with the Firelights breaks out nearby, and youâre just lucky that bigger problems show up at the right moment.
- It happens repeatedly: either you run into his goons and instinctively wave like an idiot, or you end up in restricted areas, and one of them whoâs taken a liking to you motions for you to leave, or you start frequenting the Last Drop and see them all more often.
- Gradually, this brings you more oftenâand with less dreadâto the kingpinâs office, who, since even his daughter likes you, first makes sure to get you a map of the Lanes because âyouâre obviously so clueless you must be from Piltoverâ to keep you from getting yourself killed.
- Then he realizes youâre pleasant enough to let you hang out in his office on weekends, when the noise downstairs is so loud that he couldnât work anyway.
Jinx:
- Youâre essentially the âdumb Piltieâ stereotype that comes to mind when people in Zaun talk about those from the upper city.
- Deciding to venture into the alleys without any experience or knowledge of the area purely out of curiosity wasnât your brightest idea, but at this point, itâs too late to turn back.
- Thatâs why, after hours spent looking for something interestingâcolorful explosions that have been common recently near the docks, some chase scenesâyou find nothing, give up, and throw yourself into a bar.
- If it were evening, you might hope for more than just a jukebox playing country music, four young guys playing pool in a corner, and a girl sitting at the bar who looks half-asleep while the bartender cleans glasses, but you still decide to sit down and order something local.
- Everyoneâs eyes are on you, but the moment the girl with long blue braids lifts her head, the others snap back to what they were doing, and she looks at you, still drowsy and a bit confused.
- Meeting Jinx is the beginning of the end; she rambles on, is relaxed, and the moment she hears you wanted action, she jumps off her stool and drags you out before you can even sip your drink.
- She has no particular reasonâit's just rare to find someone who wants to have fun, although you quickly realize that her idea of âfunâ involves risking your neck.
- The first time ends like that; you donât even exchange names. When it gets late, she vanishes, leaving you no choice but to return to the bar in the following weeks, where you meet her again and pick up on that fun âtour.â
- This âtourâ brings you closer, even if you never talk about deeply personal things because thereâs never time.
- Itâs one night when youâre sitting together on a rooftop, watching the distant lights of Piltover, that she learns the hard truth: youâre from the other side of the river. This single piece of information seems to destroy everything you had built. Without a word, she runs off, and you donât find her at the bar at the usual time anymore, but you donât stop trying.
- The bartender probably tells her, or she sees you, who knows, because weeks later you meet again, and she almost looks sad to see you.
- She expected you to give up, not to keep coming back despite how difficult sheâd made it, which is why when you pull her into a hug, she stiffens, taking a while to hug you back.
- The closer you get, the more she becomes like a ghost. You even find her at your place, but you never see her on the streets in Piltover. She rarely stays over, but you know itâs because of personal issues.
Vi:
- Vi isnât for everyone: sheâs for those with a âsavior complexâ or hotheads who can take a couple of punches to the face.
- The reason youâre in Zaun, dressed incognito, is because your colleagues told you thereâs some interesting stuff in the underground cityâs shops.
- What you didnât expect was that the âinteresting findâ curled up behind an abandoned building would be a person.
- Nothing too serious, just a brawl gone wrong. Sheâd hidden to tend to her wounds in peace, probably in that vulnerable âcornered wolf showing its teethâ state.
- Cooperation isnât her strong suit, and, not to rely on Undercity stereotypes, but you imagine itâs also rare for anyone to help strangers wounded on the street.
- She becomes more docile after you simply stand by, âcovering her backââbasically just staying put and shielding her from view.Â
- whenyou blurt out, âForget gin; I need something stronger.â she starts to like you
- Once she recovers, she gestures for you to follow her, suddenly motivated by the urge to drink. Surprisingly, she takes you over the bridge to your own city, to a cozy pub that smells of wood.
- Drinking there becomes a habit; after a few drinks, you tell her you hate that the evening has to end, and she chuckles, flattered, before saying you can always do it again.
- And you do it again.
- You keep doing it until you end up kissing clumsily in the pubâs restroom, nearly knocking heads together, until she pins you to the wall and your brain signals a warning.
- You tell her you live nearby, suggesting you take things to your place, unknowingly revealing something you thought was obvious.
- She stares at you for a few confused seconds. âYou didnât tell me,â she says, but the truth is, Vi doesnât hate upper-city people, so once the confusion passes, the alcohol and hormones work their magic, leaving that conversation as a problem for the next morning.
Sevika:
- Her only interactions with people from the upper city have been with Enforcers, but contrary to appearances, Sevika is a big, intimidating dog thatâs actually quite tame.
- She doesnât get her hands dirty unless necessary, so even though she has no fondness for Pilties, sheâd never start a physical fight with one.
- You first see her in the Undercity, at the Last Drop, playing cards for a hefty sum of money against two shady types: one bald with a metal nose, and the other dressed like an out-of-place gentleman.
- Itâs only when the game ends and she gets up to head to the bar that you clumsily manage to strike up a conversation, receiving nothing but a scrutinizing glance in return.
- She lets you buy her a drink despite the large sum she just pocketed, and when you compliment her on her play, she puffs up with pride and starts talking about how those two just cheated but still couldnât win.
- For a momentâjust a momentâshe realizes sheâs never seen you around here before, but then she goes back to talking and listening, fueled by the alcohol.
- Getting her out of your head becomes impossible, and if you catch her at the end of her shift, sheâs even more relaxed. It doesnât take many weeks before you find yourself with your knees over her shoulders in the Last Dropâs basement.
- Emotional or mental intimacy with Sevika comes at an incredibly slow pace, but she starts approaching you in the bar, and your âprivate encountersâ become more and more frequentâuntil you try to make things more serious by inviting her up.
- Her reaction seems angry, but itâs more surprise; she hadnât realized and didnât expect it.
- She becomes a lot more guarded around you, until, in time, she learns to trust you again.

The war is back again.
Dear, we in Gaza are now subjected to genocide and the execution of young men, women, and children.
We in Gaza are subjected to persecution, violence, hunger, and pain.
We in Gaza see our children dying before our eyes, and we cannot even hug them and bury them.
The pain increases day after day. đđ
Houses and tents are being bombed, even hospitals have not been spared.
We are now in danger of death. We are forced to flee from our current location to a safer place for our children. Please, I beg you, help us. We do not want to lose our children in this war. We have lost everything we own. All that remains is our exhausted souls. We want a safe life. We do not want to die.
Donate and share if you can

hello everyone! @siraj2024 and his family are in desperate need of help right now. they've been forced to relocate SIX TIMES in the past few months due to massacres and bombings by the IOF. sirajâs 3 children have been robbed of their childhoods by this violence and injustice, and they are living in a tent and lacking basic necessities.
siraj has set a shorter term goal of 10k so he and his family can relocate once again to a safer location, which isn't cheap. they are currently at 7,274 CAD out of 10k. if you donate in currencies that are worth more than CAD (like USD and EUR) even small amounts will go a long way!
they have only received 4 donations in the past 7 hours. i know we can help more! thank you for hearing out siraj's story!

"With a swath of U.S. cities adopting policies that would outlaw homeless encampments, advocates for unhoused people are working to fight stigmas against âtent cities.â
A new study out of the University of Colorado shows that involuntary sweeps of these camps do not improve public safety, for instance. And in San Diego, initiatives like safe sleeping camps work to provide transitional support to people with nowhere else to go.
Now, the city of Saginaw, Michigan, is taking a similar approach to address homelessness.Â
The City Council has announced a community partnership to establish temporary legal encampments for homeless residents displaced from a site under an interstate overpass.
âWe decided to be proactive and try to establish a place where we can provide some very basic amenities that drastically improve the health, safety, and dignity of the folks in that area,â City Councilwoman Carly Rose Hammond told Mid-Michigan Now.Â
She added that the initiative aims to âhave a positive impact on all the neighborhoods and businesses surrounding it.â
Hammond acknowledged that the plan is not designed to be a permanent solution, but it does allow those experiencing homelessness at least a little more dignity and support.
âWhat a legal encampment allows us to do is say, âHey, we already know that these people are here. Even if we come out and destroy peopleâs stuff, theyâre going to come back,â she told WNEM 5.Â
âSo, what can we do to provide some basic amenities and some necessities to help so that the environment is relatively clean and relatively safe?ââ
Saginaw is not a major city, but it is part of the Greater Tri-Cities Region of Central Michigan, which has an estimated population of about 378,000 people.Â
According to Saginawâs 2024 Point in Time Count, there are approximately 325 individuals experiencing homelessness at any given time. And with the housing crisis on the rise, officials are hoping this move will provide more relief.
âWeâve seen the housing crisis climb and climb and climb, weâve had more and more fallout from those social issues,â Hammond added to Mid-Michigan Now. âSo [weâre] addressing this problem head-on, providing a temporary solution, and a pathway forward.â
Organizations like La MisiĂłn are part of the cityâs plan to include nonprofits, businesses, community advocates, and neighbors in ensuring the success of the initiative.Â
Veronica Vela, who leads La MisiĂłn, said legal and accessible encampments are vital to connecting with people who need urgent resources.
âWeâre out here. We actually know names there. They know us,â Vela told Mid-Michigan Now. âSo when they see my truck, theyâre gonna come up to my truck. So itâs more of a relationship that we have with them.â
By allowing people the space to build community in a designated and safe location, caseworkers and on-the-ground advocates can get people the help they need with more speed and consistency.
The city also plans to form a permanent subcommittee to address homelessness â ideally before it begins.
While the timeline of this new initiative â as well as the specific services it will provide â remain unclear at this time, Hammond promises a step in the right direction.
âWhatâs going to come out of this is a healthier, safer environment for everyone,â she told Mid-Michigan now. âWe can work on long-term solutions, rather than just kicking the problem around and kicking it down the road.â"
