Dear Friends, Right now I feel despair, and hopelessness. And I feel so tired. I deeply apologize for tagging you all again, please don't get mad. I just really needed help.😢😢 I just got my life back, and recently recovered from my debts from my previous battle in between 2021 and mid 2023. I really felt so ashamed in writing this, because I am avoiding as much as I can to ask help financially again. 

You were there for me during my darkest hours, and for that, I will be eternally grateful. But now, I find myself in a situation more dire than ever before, and I am trembling with fear as I implore you to lend me your aid once again.

The video you see attached to this post is a painful reminder of the recent loss I've endured. Uncle Dindo joined our creator last March 24, 2024, after battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer for a month. His passing has left a void in our souls, and also drowned us in debts too. I am helping with expenses as much as I can, that it also drowned me. My Father died of the same illness as well. I made a post more than a month ago with the Title: FIGHTING AGAINST CANCER sadly we still have zero donation and sales from our Emotes and Digital Stickers sale. 

I do not know how to approach all of you again, but I am so scared right now. The reason I made this new post is I've been doing my best to make ends meet, trying to loan to a bank to be able for me to start my Treatment again(but mostly got rejected). I am already back to work eversince the fourth quarter of 2023, but the income is not enough as I earn only $12-$15/day with 12 hours plus of work.  I am really really scared right now as I am writing this. First, I need to settle my rent within 12-24 hours which cost $500(water & electricity is unstable). My landlord is threatening me that he will lock the house, kicking me out and leaving my pets behind. My cats and my dog are my life. Update(05/02/2024): I asked helped from a local council here to help me talk to my landlord. We have an agreement and I am given enough time until Saturday of this week - May 4, 2024. To settle the rent and for me and my pets to leave the apartment, we found a new one but we need a 2 month deposit. And payment for a rental truck. I need to pay my landlord too - so, I can be able to transfer to another home, and he will let me leave peacefully. Which will have another cost, as I need to rent a small truck because I have my pets with me. I have written this on my previous blogs before that I have been sexually harassed(this SCARES me so much too), and stalked by a former friend. He was jailed, but he is back again(already reported it to police). But for safety transferring home is needed. My trauma is still not yet recovered. We still need to prioritize as well my Aunt's treatment, as her health is rapidly deteriorating too(Stage 3 breast Cancer is advancing, her right breast has already been removed). And I need to start mine again, it spread in other parts of my body(I am holding on). I'm really scared right now. If you can spare anything—money, support, anything at all—it would mean the world to me. I hate asking, but I don't know what else to do. Edaline’s POV

It had been four days since Sophie went missing. 

Four days of Hydrokinetics searching the sea and finding nothing.

Four days with no sign of Sophie or Dex.

Edaline couldn’t help but think the worst.

She had already lost one daughter. She couldn’t lose another, especially after Sophie thought Edaline didn’t love her enough to adopt her.

She and Grady were sitting at the table, which seemed empty without Sophie there. Grady was reading a scroll from the Hydrokinetics, but clearly, their update was unhelpful.

“Still nothing?” Edaline asked, reaching over to grab Grady’s hand. He shook his head and pushed the scroll to the end of the table. Just then a loud knock on their front door rang through the house. Edaline got up, brushing her messy hair out of her face. When she opened the door, they found Councillor Emery and Councillor Oralie holding up two dripping registry pendants. 

“You. . . may want to sit down for this,” Oralie whispered. A solitary tear trailed down her rosy cheek.

“We’ve told the Dizznees to come over, and then we’ll explain what happened,” Emery said. Soon, Kesler, Juline, Edaline, and Grady were sitting on the giant couch in Havenfield’s living room. Emery and Oralie were in the plush armchair across from them, but no one was relaxing.

“Where did you find them?” Grady asked, clutching Sophie’s registry pendant. Edaline noticed it had been cut off, the cord severed in the back. She really hoped that didn’t mean Sophie was. . . . No. Just because their registry pendants weren’t physically on them, didn’t mean Sophie and Dex were dead. Yet.

“One of the Hydrokinetics found these in the bottom of the ocean. And given the evidence of a tidal wave, we think it’s the only plausible explanation. . .” Oralie trailed off, her voice catching. 

“So you’re telling us that our son is dead.” Kesler’s voice was cold, but his breathing was ragged. “At least have the decency to say it!” Edaline could tell he was angry. After all, the council had messed with his life enough. He was Talentless, a bad match, and a father of triplets. And now his son was dead.

 “Yes. Sadly, it seems that young Miss Foster and Mr. Dizznee are no longer with us.”

Grady and Edaline managed to hold it together until the councilors left and the Dizznees went home to grieve. Then Edaline went to Sophie's room and curled up on the bed. Ella was still leaning against the pillows, so Grady handed it to her and lay down with her. After that, Edaline started sobbing. She still had the registry pendant in her hand, and she could faintly feel it making an indent in her palm, but she didn’t care. 

When the sun sunk below the horizon, Grady got up. “Where are you going?” She asked, her throat scratching and dry. 

“I’ll be right back, Eda.”

When he returned, Edaline didn’t have to look to know what was in the mug he handed her. She recognized the scent of slumberberry tea from sixteen years ago when Jolie died. As she drained the contents, her brain whispered one thought: Don’t give up yet.

Toji just stared silently at the man at the end of the large table in the meeting room, completely bored to death and his begging for forgiveness wasn't as entertaining as it used to be.

The man was surprised, looking up from his closed fists with glossed eyes.

His coworkers - nanami, Geto and Gojo were all also surprised.

"Boss?" The man croaked, not wanting false hope to fully sink in yet.

"You heard me, didn't ya? Now get the fuck out of my sight before I change my mind." Was all Toji said before the man quickly got up from his chair, taking his briefcase with him before running out of the meeting room.

There was an awkward silence before Toji sighed deeply, flicking through a business proposal an aspiring investor brought in a few hours ago.

"well, is someone gonna explain what the fuck just happened?" Geto finally spoke, chuckling soon after.

Nanami shrugged.

"Don't ask me."

Gojo smirked, looking over at Toji.

"He's become a lot softer because of one person."

Toji shot Gojo a warning glare before facing the paper again.

"Toji met someone?" Geto asked almost teasingly. "Hard to believe."

"You should've seen his face the first time he-"

Toji suddenly got up, closing the file whilst all three of his coworkers stared at him in silence.

He knew they'd continue their gossip after he left but at least he didn't have to be there to hear it.

Truth be told - he noticed it too. After those small hangouts with you, he managed to become so much softer in such a small amount of time. He'd let his workers off if they made mistakes he'd usually reprimand him for and he'd give more second chances. You'd fully gotten yourself into his mind without even knowing. And now he'd become a lot less strict and even looked approachable to more people.

Toji made his way into the break room, lounging on the couch tiredly. He didn't even feel like smoking at all. He just wanted to get out of there before he was bombarded with questions. Usually he'd try messaging you but with summer break arriving, you were swamped with work, school, projects and tests, meaning you had no time to talk to him.

And not wanting to annoy you, Toji kept his distance while that was in his mind. Besides...he'd get to see you during summer.

That's when Toji remembered.

You'd offered for him to come and he wanted to. But you'd also mention Gojo and possibly more of his friends. He almost had no choice. You were bringing your friends and it'd be awkward for him to come alone. So, reluctantly, toji made his way back to the meeting room, all three of the men still there.

Your cousin just nodded absent mindedly before grabbing a cup and taking his snacks back into the living room. You went onto your friends group chat, Diane sending an updated picture of the list you all put together.

You sent a text saying you could pick those up from the convenience store near your house, Diane and your other friend - Ada, thanking you.

"I'll be right back," you called out to Jaydon. "Gonna pick up some more sun cream."

Jaydon just gave a loud 'mhm' and you left the house, deciding to leave your hoodie at home.

Once you got into the convenience store, it didn't take long before you found the sun cream in an aisle near the front, seeing as it was definitely in high demand.

You grabbed a few bottles, holding them to your chest before making a sharp 180, accidentally bumping into a person behind you, all the bottles falling to the floor.

"Shit, I'm so sorry-"

"It's fine!" You quickly bent down along with the stranger who helped you grab your things.

You looked up, meeting eyes with him, slightly shocked.

He looked like Toji. A full carbon copy. The only difference was the eyes colour and his hair was more messy, as well as his young features.

The boy you know knew as megumi just signed before walking off in the direction of the fridges.

You awkwardly smiled. He was surprised to see you after a while, noticing your hair had changed into black braids, blonde ones in contrast falling over your shoulders.

"It's been a while..."

Toji nodded, eyes moving to the bottles you had held against your chest.

"I'll be fine.... I'm guessing that's your son you mentioned?" Looking over your shoulder at the teenager who stood in front of the fridges, staring hard at the variety of fizzy drinks.

Toji sighed deeply.

"No- it was more my fault. I was in a hurry to get back to my apartment."

Toji almost forgot you lived so close around here.

They'd all checked into their hotel rooms a while ago and now they were on the beach, sitting outside near a beach bar, the sun already setting, the sky painted a pale purple and pink.

He was about to suggest they go back to the hotel plaza but Geto suddenly straightened up.

"Who's that cute little thing?"

They all turned and saw you with your two other friends quickly walking over, one of them being Diana. Toji's jaw almost hitting the floor. You were dressed in a solid yellow ruffle trim bikini, white buttoned up shorts, matching white platform sandals and sunglasses on top of your head putting the outfit together.

"So sorry we're late!" You apologized, your friends doing the same after.

An hour had passed and by now, you were all surrounding a fireplace on the beach, drinks in hand whilst you lounged in beach chairs.

He snapped back into it, noticing everyone was staring at him.

"He's probably still worked up over work and all, don't worry bout him." Gojo cleared, taking another chug of his beer.

"We were askin' if you were gonna head back with us."

You all packed up, putting the fire out before heading back up to the hotel.

Once you reached your room, you swiped your key card on the door before entering, flopping down onto the bed, your face buried against the soft pillows. Your mind wandered to Toji, your face heating at the memory of his green eyes watching you.

Yes and no. My father believed he was someone with my name in a past life.

2. When was the last time you cried?

I honestly don't know how long ago it was. But I was in the shower, hurt because I am unable to help my wife when her mental illness overtakes her.

3. Do you have kids?

Yes, but they aren't living.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

I used to run track.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

It depends. I grew up using it, but due to things changing with my wife, my sarcastic comments often hurt more than amuse now, so I try not to let that part of me show as often any more.

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

If they are smiling or have an overpowering personality.

7. What's your eye color?

Hazel

8. Scary movies or comedies?

I will watch whichever one has someone I know working on it, but I don't like the modern scary movie genre. I need more plot than we get these days.

All my literacy teachers claimed I was a writer, actor friends tell me I'm a storyteller. So I guess coming up with stories would be the thing?

North Carolina. And I never left.

Oh, I have a parent headcanon!

Well, several actually. All different ways to figure out how Ivan/Sua blood relation would work out (since this particular concept is very fun to me)

So, from the fact that Ivan is the only character whose date-of-birth we don't know, it's safe to assume he wasn't born in captivity (and the rest of the cast, therefore, were).

Which means we need to figure out how Sua's parents would be pets, while Ivan's parents would be free. I got 3 ideas:

1) Ivan and Sua are full siblings

In this case, Sua's parents would run off shortly after her birth. Either they couldn't take a newborn with them, or she was already separated from them, either option is highly likely, imo.

The two of them, now free, would have another child together, but since we know that Ivan was back in captivity at a pretty young age, I imagine their freedom didn't last long.

2) Ivan and Sua are half-siblings

Similar to the previous one, but only one of the parents escapes, then finds love with another human on the outside (or just an unplanned pregnancy lol). If it's Sua's mother, then nothing really changes, but if it was the father, then the escape can possibly happen even before Sua's birth (this is interesting for purposes of calculating Ivan's real gae, since he is approximately 1 year younger than Sua, but him being 22 and her being 23 might mean several months of age difference up to 1 year and 11 months. That's a pretty large gap! I really think that his age is calculated by how old he was presumed to be at his date of adoption, an that was used as his "date of birth". But we don't really know how old was Ivan actually vs. how old he was presumed to be)

3) Ivan and Sua are cousins

Exists mostly to imagine Ivan's parents as peope who lived a long time in the outside world (mostly bc this hc allows for his parents to gain freedom at a very young age)

These are far from the only options to reconcile their canon backstories w/ the sibs headcanon, but these are the ones I like :)

my favorite would probably be the first ( the other two are amazing as well ! ), though i hope that if sua’s parents really did have ivan after, that they didn’t completely forget about sua, and still cared about her :(

to expand on it a bit, maybe sua is a result of a pet human breeding facility ? or to be more specific, her parents were selectively bred to produce sua . ( kinda like some dogs sadly )

if ivan was their 2nd child, sua’s parents probably did love each other, and had ivan willingly after . though if they didn’t stay with sua, i would guess they were unhappy with their circumstances . im guessing that a lot of breeding facilities . . don’t have the best environments, or quality in general .

( and maybe on a sadder note, sua’s parents left sua because she would only be a reminder of the circumstances they used be in . )

anyways, sua’s parents must had been pretty intelligent if they escaped, but it depends on the security quality . ( maybe sua got their intelligence since she’s good at mental math tehe ) but after they escaped, they had ivan .

not for a very long time tho, since as you said, ivan was back in captivity himself not long after, probably at 3, or 4 .

Hidden Springs Houses

So, I decided to take a wee break from community lots and start on the task of fixing some of the houses in this world. And the first one was the family home of the local royals.

I think I found this over on Mod the Sims, and like everything I download, I went in and changed stuff. Currently there are only 2 playable floors as opposed to the 3 or 4 that there were originally. I also changed out all of the windows, added that turret thingie in the middle there, relandscaped the back to get rid of a kiddie playground and replaced it with a stable. Then I rotated the lot about 45 degrees so my snooty royals don't have to look at the riff-raff across the street. And, of course, gave them some expensive furnishings as opposed to the basegame stuff that the house came with.

And here they are! I really didn't do much to them other than give them some new skins and make-up, and new clothes. I modelled the head lady after some old pictures of Queen Elisabeth. Her husband is still the "Yes, dear. Whatever you say, dear," sort of dude that he always was. They also have a dog, cat, and horse. The horse actually belonged to the run-away daughter.

Then, I went up into the mountains and replaced that house at 27 Bristlecone Way with this one that Pinecat over on TSR did ages ago. Since I never use the launcher, I converted it into a package and then had to redo virtually everything because patterns don't always survive the change. Anyway, there were a ton more trees on the original lot, that I deleted. Sometimes less is better. Inside, I used the store mid-century modern sets to furnish it.

And this is the sim who lives there - Dr Al Fahad and her cat, Simba. Again, I really didn't change her much - mostly because not everyone in our world is stop-dead beautiful. And I like variety in my worlds. I did give her that Egyptian trait, so now she sings that stupid song. And I changed her backstory a bit. She's still a simoleon-loving surgeon who caters to the very rich and famous, but she moved to Hidden Springs from Bridgeport, because she had a teensy slip of the knife on one of her patients, after a hard night of partying. And had to shell out a ton of simoleons to shut the snit up. So, she's come here for a fresh start.

This is the house that I gave that Mendosa sim. Other than a new skin, he looks the same as before. Anyway, this house is all that's left of what he acquired during his career as a musical prodigy. Sadly, he had a crooked agent who robbed him blind. Now all he has is this house and a stray cat that decided to move in with him.

And then I got sick of CAS and decided that I better start addressing all those Christmas cards I have. Sucks to be me!

Because it's my birthday I am going to share 23 random facts about me (that no one cares about except me, I care very much)

1. I was born in Okinawa, Japan. No I'm not Japanese, my mom was an accountant for the Air Force. And no, I don't remember anything about Japan; we moved back when I was six months old. The military broke into our apartment and forced us to leave the country because my mom criticized the Air Force for having religious programming on the government-funded radio station. She wrote a screenplay about it which has sadly never been sold :(

2. I've written over 2 million words of fiction, most of which you can read over on Archive of Our Own.

3. I was named for two typhoons that hit Japan around when I was born (first and middle name). Every year, we used to get horrible insane bad weather around my birthday. After I changed my birth name and kept only one of the typhoon names, we don't get bad weather anymore :)

4. I've lived in 10 different houses and three different time zones over my lifetime.

5. I won a Gilman Scholarship for the most competitive country in the program and got to study abroad in Stirling, Scotland, during undergrad. I got all As in my classes while there, despite the fact that I was dealing with repeated bouts of antispychotic-induced trismus where my jaw would lock open for up to six hours. It was ouchie.

6. Over my lifetime, I have kept dogs, cats, betta fish, koi fish, zebra finches, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and chickens.

7. My favorite time of year is autumn.

8. Back in the early 2010s, I anonymously pretended to be Darren Criss (from Glee) in random peoples' inboxes, and I was so good at it that there was a theory that I was, indeed, Darren Criss. I eventually had to come clean about it because other people tried to copy me.

9. I also caused a controversy in the Sherlock fandom by Photoshopping Sherlock-related graffiti on a photo of the Baker Street Underground station. People literally thought someone was going around spraypainting the London Tube while I was comfortably at home in my apartment in Chicago.

10. While living in Chicago, I once found an iguana in a tree, in the middle of winter. Poor thing would have died if it was left out any longer. I captured it and gave it to my friend who kept reptiles; the original owner never came forward for it.

11. I have dyscalculia, meaning it's nigh-on impossible for me to do anything other than basic math.

12. Because of my dyscalculia, I can't read sheet music. Despite this, I was in choir and musicals because I had a good singing voice. To get around this, my teachers would give me CDs of the music, and I would learn everything by ear.

13. My first ever fannish hyperfixation was The Beatles. I used to roleplay Beatles RPF with my best friend by passing a notebook around between classes. My character had a whole city in North Carolina named after her, plus a lime green Bugatti Veyron and a mansion. Typical middle schooler power fantasy lmao

14. My favorite animal is the unicorn. Barring mythical creatures, my favorite animal is the cow.

15. I collect music boxes, specifically ones with moving parts. My favorite present anyone has ever given me is a singing bird music box with a little canary that dances while it sings.

16. I also collect vintage luggage. Look, it's a cooler storage system than tote boxes, ok??

17. I have been knitting since I was around 9. My favorite thing to make is socks, and the favorite project I've ever done is a seashell-patterned shawl for my mom.

18. In the summer, I love kayaking; in the winter, I love doing nothing whatsoever. Though I'm tempted to try cross-country skiing, ngl.

19. Last year, I made my first roombox; I'm now working on a three-story dollhouse. I also mod Nendoroids.

20. I've had nearly every hair color, which includes blonde, brunet, black, red, purple, teal, blue, green, and pink. My favorite is green.

21. I have seven tattoos, including the term "Mors ad Raptoribus" written across my chest. I got this one after being sexually assaulted; it means "Death to Rapists" in Latin. The other most important one is a portrait of my late dog Luke.

22. I like all sorts of music, including alt, indie, (some) folk, pop, metal, rap, blues, jazz, and classical. The only music I really don't like is gospel. If you ask me my favorite band, rest assured it'll change in about three weeks.

23. I'm a late bloomer horse girl. I rode a little bit as a child but was too broke to afford regular lessons. Now that I'm an Adult, I go riding once a week and wish I could go more!

We are concluding the 2nd rotation in the Asian part of my town with the Tians. They are getting a free goat from the ROS gods, which makes sense, since they have sheep already. I ended up just giving them 2 goats - a male and a female, for the chance of producing baby goats, because they really just started and they had some disposable money.

I rolled for a ROS for them again, because I felt like I went too easy on them. The 2nd ROS decided I would have to fulfill their wants this round (otherwise I'd need to do the same next round, but for fears). It was not difficult to achieve, but I must say Hiroki had the weirdest wants for a Popularity sim. He wanted to buy stuff, and get some skill points (that part I can understand, as it was autumn). The illness must have changed his priorities in life. Sadly, I couldn't get him a lot of the stuff he wanted (TV? toy dog pen (bunny)? I really wanted to give him a recliner, but the want wouldn't fulfill). He did get to Charisma level 5 at least.

I found a job for the man of the house, as this family is not going to be selling anything for a while. There was a vacancy in the Culinary career, and this is the perfect job for a food provider, and Hiroki's One True Hobby happens to be Cuisine, too. Hiroki also wanted to hire a nanny, but that couldn't happen... I'm guessing that means he prefers going to work instead of staying home though.

Tasuku is a Taurus. He's 6 Neat and 6 Outgoing just like his dad. He's also 4 Lazy like his mom. But he's also more Playful (9) and Grouchy (3) than both of his parents. Both Fumi and Hiroki are 7 Nice.

Fumi taught Tasuku all of his toddler skills (she actually wanted to teach him all 3, which is quite rare in my game). His dad taught him the Nursery Rhyme, because I wanted him to remember something related to his firstborn.

I wanted to wait with more babies, like I did with the Lao family, but Fumi wanted another baby, and I was supposed to be fulfilling wants...

So their next baby was meant to be twins, but one of them was not meant to be due to terrible rolls. I also rolled 3x at birth, as if it was a twin birth, but Fumi still survived it, so I guess it was just that unfortunate infant. Hopefully they will get one more later, but nothing will replace the unborn twin.

Fumi threw two birthday parties for her firstborn this round, in both cases when the man of the house was at work. Is it offensive to her husband? I don't know, but he works late, so I am not blaming her.

I wanted to add that I'm not sure if Fumi really wanted to throw the 2nd birthday party for her son, or for the occassion of her giving birth. Her husband just came back home and the party was halfway through, when she started giving birth and everyone ran to her. I named the newborn Hanako. She's a blue-eyed girl with black hair.

On the very last night of their rotation the burglar decided to come over. I flipped a coin and it decided that I should let Hiroki beat her up. I flip a coin for it now, because the Anyone Fights Burglars mod is always successful. I think the burglar wanted to steal some of the sheep, but she didn't get to do it fast enough.

Hiroki had two days off, I believe. Overall he got promoted once so he's on level 2 of the Culinary career track, which doesn't pay very well. But he has earned earned 966$ total.

They needed to pay 986$ (rounded down to 950$) + 500$ rent for last round. They are left with some change they could use to set up a store, but I don't think they'll be selling anything before spring comes.

There is 8800$ in the town's bank... Let's say it was all spent to erect the monastery from earlier, because the unfurnished building is worth around as much. I imagine the monks are starting out sleeping on the floor or something...

Nope, and I highly doubt I ever will.

She was actually legit half feral when she came home as a kitten because she'd been left to live in the back of a barn by the family that had her, but now she's a massive baby that loves attention. We used to be frenemies, I'm the one she scratches up and chews on and kicks and pounces because I'm her play buddy or something, but recently she's decided she's also obsessed with me and comes shouting up the stairs for me if I'm in my room and likes to have naps on my lap while I'm on my computer.

I did have a dog, a black Labrador, though sadly she passed away back in March. But I still love her very much, that absolute GOOFBALL, she was a thief, she loved savoury foods so much, chicken was her favourite thing in the world, and she would rip the heads off dandelions and throw them away WHY I STILL DON'T GET IT WHY GIRL. I feel sorry for the other Rainbow Bridge pets because my girl will be storming around ripping all the flowers up XDDD

Kroot Maxing

Or, can you build a 2000pt list in 10th edition with nothing but Kroot?

Right off the bat, maxing out Kroot Shapers with 3 units, and their our only leaders for 50 x 3

Kroot carnivores sadly do not have the battleline keyword, so we max out there at 3 units. To max model count and points, we’re taking 20 model units, so 150 x 3

Next, Krootox. They come in squads of three, and are ridiculously cheap pts wise, so we’re taking three units for 105 x 3

Kroot Hounds, at 12 models a unit and 90 x 3 for the max we can take

And lastly, because it’s the only Kroot unit left, three units of Kroot Farstalkers, for 105 x 3

Precision of the Patient Hunter, as it’s the only enhancement that doesn’t exclude Kroot (racist), for 20

For a grand total of 1520pts. Excluding the enhancement, exactly 3/4ths of a full army. Fuck

Now, you can do this for 500, 1000, and 1500 point games, but sadly Kroot arn’t going to be winning a  tournament anytime soon. Or are they? Let’s say we get sneaky, and count proxies as Kroot. Dinosaur ta’unar is out cause it’s 600 pts, but a storm surge is very affordable at 405. Strap that big gun to a dinosaur and your golden

We’ll also include stealth suit proxied Kroot (paint them green with scales and tails or something) to get us to 2000 pts exactly. Stealth suits give a bonus to FtGG, which Kroot can’t use (racist) but our Kroot proxied stormsurge can. Use that to wipe the big units while you focus on krootmaxing the smaller ones, and you’ve got a decent chance in a non-competitive game

And just for fun, let’s find out how much 1500pts of Kroot would cost in real world points, also known as dollars. I’m using MSRP for sake of this post, but you should never ever buy at store cost. Amazon has a flat 15% discount on all GW models, and you might find them cheaper on r/miniswap, eBay, or your local game store. You can get them even cheaper if your willing to proxy, have a 3d printer, or just use cardboard tokens. Anyways enough soapboxing, here’s the list

Assuming no cost reduction shenanigans, just buying straight from GW, Shapers are $21, so $63 for 3

Carnivores come in boxes of 16 for $64, so to get to 60 (units of 20 x 3 units) you would have to buy 4 boxes for $255, and you would have 4 Kroot extra. If you’re smart you could proxy those as Shapers to cut down on cost, but we’re just looking for one big GW approved number, so I won’t include that

Krootox are easier to count, and it’s one Kroot for one box. At $44 a box and 9 boxes, tht comes out to an eye watering $396. That’s enough to buy a Ta’unar and two arms, or 20% of a Manta

Kroot Hounds are $33 a box, but that’s a bit of a cheat, cause there’s only 4 in a box. For a full 12 dog unit it’s 3 boxes, at $90, which makes a full unit of Hounds only a dollar cheaper than a Hammerhead. For the sake of the list it’s $270, but never on gods green earth should you be paying 30 bucks for a third of a unit of shitty hounds. Just build your extra Kroot as Hounds, or don’t even bother cause they’re not that good

And lastly, Kroot Farstalkers. Easy peezy. $105 a box with 3 boxes is $315, which’s t this point just doesn’t even faze me despite that being a ludicrous amount of money

And now, the total cost of every Kroot unit you can legally play in a game of 40K, using only GW’s prices. You ready? Cause I promise you’re not. It’s $1,237 dollars. That isn’t including shipping, taxes, import cost, the cost of glue and paint, the trip to the hospital from inhaling the glue fumes from 150 models all drying

And for my last trick, that means the Kroot line as a whole, has a dollars to points ratio of 1:.82

For context, to buy a full 2000 pt army for $500s, you’d need a dollar to points ratio of 1:4

2.) It closed down a few months back!! X3 The owners prayed about it and felt that it was time to close so they could focus on their kids! So it was definitely a sad time honestly! As for the other job, I did apply for a bakery job, but never heard anything from them for a while! Meanwhile, I got a job offer a few weeks ago!! I just gotta send my papers this week!! X3 If you ever heard of the program, ‘God’s Promises’ I’ll be doing that!! It’s kinda like a daycare/school before the kids go to actual school! X3 I was just asked to be a substitute, but it’s possible I could work full time in the fall!! X3
