At long last, Sadie & Katie. As New Years approached, I’ve decided to make this my first post of 2024. As for their redesign, I went for a scene style cuz they just had that vibe. But overall, I had a fun (and hard 😭) time drawing these two and I hope Gwen will be next. Goodnight :)

So I’m still doing creepypasta redesigns and originally I was gonna post them as a batch as usual, but because the theme here is basically “redoing their entire backstories” I figured to post them one at a time and explain the changes so the post doesn’t become incredibly long.

Please note that this is just for fun and for my AU. I’m not saying my version is better, it’s just different and the original will always be there if you prefer that one.

So here we have Suicide Sadie: (tw, mentions of suicide, domestic abuse, and neglect)

So for Sadie, her story was essentially another “my parent sucks so I killed them” with the only garnish added was she killed herself first and then killed her dad. I am frankly tired of seeing the same exact story over and over so like…here’s my version for my AU.

Sadie immigrated to the United States from England during the industrial revolution and she was immediately put to work in a factory where the conditions were poor, the hours were long, and the pay was low.

After the death of her mother, Sadie’s father married her off to a rich man with the misguided intention of trying to give his daughter an easier life that he could not provide himself. Sadly though, this already poor decision would only make Sadie’s life worse.

Her husband neglected her, often leaving her in the house with literally nothing to do, and the isolation drove her mad. That is until one day, she escaped to be a part of a protest for worker’s rights what with having been a worker in a broken system that often mistreated women. She was caught by her husband, and the neglect turned to physical abuse because he was outraged that his own wife would participate in something like that. He was a business owner himself, so he worried that her voice would put his business under a bad light.

When the isolation and physical abuse got too much, Sadie took her own life as before, any attempt to do something about it only resulted in things getting worse for her. Just a week after the funeral, her husband was found dead, the cause of which was hanging, another “suicide”.

Sadie now carries on as a ghost who specifically makes it her mission to help women try to survive in a world that still treats them poorly. Her spirit often posses men who contribute to this system and have them literally kill themselves.

also the second one: trying to figure out which of my OCs would be a good catwoman and one of them is sadie yes of course, but then I thought of Terry who's a butch lesbian and got so so so thrown by the idea of a butch catwoman I couldn't breathe

Im gonna redesign this at some point, I want to keep the femme-design of the character and the costume, but I want it to reflect some of Terry's woodsman-like vibes. Argh!! opposing motifs, my enemy!!!

I MAKE MY TRIMPHANT RETURN with a bunch of outfits. I'm very happy they're finally done!! Click for higher quality!

A few notes under the cut bc i did not work on this since October to not yap about my thought process /silly (i say with peace and love)

Bounty Hunter's Duster: Her first love. She liked being able to shoot that guy right in front of Gomorrah on behalf of Francine Garret. She was loathe to part with the cool hat, but anything for Francine fr.

Daniel Sadie's Outfit: Sadie is the founder of the He-Man Daniel Hater's Club (most of the companions are part of it despite not knowing who Daniel is. It's difficult to get anything more than a sneer and, "a fucking asshole," from Sadie when asked, but for some reason we trust Sadie's opinion). Anyway, despite Daniel being Daniel, we like his outfit. I like to think she stole it off his back in the night before leaving Zion.

Dr. Mobius' Scrubs (+ Glasses): Something she wears a lot post-game while researching the Tunnelers. I just love this outfit. Also the glasses are, through some miracle, her exact prescription. She's never seen clearer.

Vera's Outfit Redux: I redesigned Vera's Outfit bc Sadie would not be caught dead with a giant flower on her hip, respectfully. I referenced a few of Marilyn Monroe's dresses! The jewelry is designed after the Tops logos, gifted by Benny. Sadie doesn't wear much jewelry but, unfortunately, she likes Benny enough to make an exception.

Courier's Duster + Wasteland Designs: Sadie sews and assembles clothing! Expanded on here, but tldr: she's 5'0" so she has to adjust a lot of things to fit her. The only outfit that's ever fit her without her needing to adjust it was the Courier's Duster that Ulysses made for her. She was both surprised and just a little creeped out. Anyway, she'll take parts and pieces from some outfits and combine them together, as seen in the last two designs.

She also made the other two New Vegas outfits from scratch, using fabric and clothing she found throughout New Vegas. A lot of clothing from the Ultra Luxe conspicuously went missing, but don't worry about it. If you tell on her she'll tell you on Benny (not the biggest threat in the world but if you piss off Benny, you piss off Sadie by extension so... not worth it.)

But what is if Island was made today?

The A. Plot Trio redesigned. Personalities largely the same, although (Le)Sha(u)na trades some of her trademark slang to make room for an even more snarky attitude.

Emphasis on “some”. Her calling Harry a tadpole will never not be funny.

Heather’s a little less impulsive here. Where the canon one would read Gwen’s dialogue to the world, this one would hide it and use it as blackmail. Harold’s about the same, but even more of a theatre kid.

I like to think that the writing on his shirt will change every episode.

Justin starts off as his Action self: not a complete jerk, but still very vain and petty. Katie and Sadie, however, get a complete overhaul, going the “odd friendship” route by playing up Katie’s energetic tendencies and Sadie’s relative intelligence.

Now I kinda regret ditching the hat. Eh. Anyway, they’re about the same.

Owen, Tyler, and DJ are mostly unchanged. Cody plays up his geeky traits and whatever flirting skills he had in canon are completely gone here, since Gwen doesn’t even realize he likes her throughout the season.

Also step aside, Beth. Cody’s the new shortest guy in the camp.

Speaking of which, Beth’s artistic talents are a more active part of her characterization, hence the stickers and paint splatters. Ezekiel’s more of a basket case. Turns out his canon counterpart hates going outside. Of course I started to run with it and I made him a typical ���quiet kid”. He’s slightly more socially aware, but he’s probably still going home first (not that he’s complaining).

Lindsay’s the same, but lookit her cool jacket!

Courtney’s bossiness is gone almost entirely; she’s a pure teacher’s (read: host’s) pet. The only one she’s trying to push around is a canon compliant Duncan.

Noah’s part of Heather’s alliance as her spy, just as the rumors say. Eva’s more social, generally more boisterous, but no less temperamental. I may have ripped off TD Reunion’s look for her.

Izzy is a universal constant. She changes for nobody.

I could’ve added Sierra and Alejandro. But I didn’t, because where’s the fun in that?

BTW, these are very rough designs. TD’s art style, despite being the inspiration for my own, is deceptively hard to emulate.

Jeremy (Killer Bass) is a mischievous prankster who the rest of his team quickly deems an annoyance but keeps around for his unorthodox thinking. He almost immediately forms a kinship with Harold and Tyler as the team’s outcasts, meaning Courtney and Bridgette have to deal with two warring trios as whoever hasn’t been eliminated by this point watches in amusement.

Addison (Not Killer Bass) is a fast talking hustler who’s smuggled a ton of sweets into camp and barters them off to the other Gophers, mostly Owen, Izzy, and Cody, in exchange for assistance. She’s a member of Heather’s alliance, bringing their numbers up to five, but she’s clearly a wildcard who’ll flip on her if it’s convenient. Heather can’t trust so easily, but Addison’s ironically one of the few who doesn’t hate her.

I have a whole elimination order planned out, but I don’t have the time to write a full fanfic, so I’ll just keep it shelved for now. Maybe I’ll just make a broad outline.
