Prompt 4 - Safe

“I don’t see why I had to come,” Regulus grumbled as Sirius dragged him into the arrivals area. “Wouldn’t you rather be on your own to pick Remus up?”

“Oh, hush,” Sirius scolded. “I needed you to look out for empty parking spaces,” Sirius danced out of the way of Regulus’s fist's as the first trickle of passengers emerged from inside the airport. 

Regulus wasn’t watching closely, as Remus was pretty easy to spot and Sirius had his eyes trained on the door anyway. Sirius inhaled sharply and started bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet, looking like an excited puppy. 

Regulus watched as his brother latched onto Remus’s face. He pulled a face of disgust and just as he was about to turn away, big strong hands wound around his waist. He didn’t have to see who was standing behind him to know whose hands they were. 

“James,” He breathed, and spun around to stare up into James’s familiar hazel eyes. James looked down warmly at him and he felt completely safe. “I didn’t know you were on the same flight as Remus!” His voice was a bit squeaky, but for once he didn’t care. 

“I didn’t either until Remus told me what flight he was on, then I wanted it to be a surprise. So surprise,” He beamed. Regulus stood on his tip toes and let his lips press against James’s. It was sweet, searing and as though they’d been doing it for years instead of just last night.

“Right, you two drop each other and let’s go home.” Sirius teased them as he carefully dropped his feet back to the floor. 

“Twat,” Regulus stuck his tongue out at his brother. “Are—are you coming too?” He asked James. Sirius had made it seem like James was coming with them. 

“I am, if that’s alright with you?” James said. He was giving Regulus a choice, and he loved that about James. Barty never gave him choices, just told him what to do.

“Yes. Yes, I’d love that.” He took one of James’s hands and dragged him through the glass doors and towards the car park. Sirius and Remus followed behind, snickering at them. But once again Regulus couldn’t find it in him to care.

Once Split, Now Mended

(pst, this a long two, maybe three, shot :}c )

Alfred had been around for many years, had done many things. From theater, to espionage, to a butler, to a father, to a grandfather, he was a man well versed in many things. So when his once new employers suddenly came rushing in with a babe, talking and occasionally yelling about how they had found their new son, because there was no mistaking the protective hold Martha had on him, in a dumpster on their way back from the movies, he peered at the new babe. He was quit adorable, porcelain skin and inky black locks, but Alfred felt a slight shutter as he gazed into the babes eyes.

They were an empty ice blue.

It was almost as if his soul was ripped out of his tiny body.

But he only shook his head and asked what the new parents were to name their child, with an almost immediate answer of Bruce.

i always feel like a conspiracy theorist making theories for elden ring but man. fromsoft doesnt really do things by accident.

here’s another theory while we’re here. when miquella cast st trina out, she wilted like a flower. we can luckily see what she looked like right after being abandoned

her hair and dress look like petals here ^ but when we finally see her in game, she’s become warped by the rejection

she really does look like a wilted flower. a singular scrawny root where her legs used to be (part of my arm theory is also that miquella has their legs much like how trina has their arms). her once flowing dress is fraying at the edges. with only the root holding her up, her wilted dress has enveloped what remains of her body to keep her upright (mostly)

just like how miquella has become warped and incomplete in his ascent to godhood, st trina has as well. she knows when miquella dies she will too, and when she does, she leaves behind a single wilted flower

This hunk of ice, he's cold and mean, but that's understandable. I know someone like him, so I'm used to his antics. No one understands him, so am I. But, we all know he's not like that, just misunderstood. He just can't express it, but he's trying, in different ways. We all can't fix him, but let's acknowledge him. Even at times he's a jerk!

Bi-han: Get your hands off of me, Cage!

Jenny: Nah, why would I? Besides, you look hot.

Bi-han: Cage-

Jenny: Just Chill

Bi-han: Imbecile...

He will never be chill, especially not with her.

Wild wakes to find Mini curled into a small ball by his side and someone growling softly. He pries open an eye to look over the camp. Sky is still asleep. Time, however, is wide awake and sitting up. He’s using the pile of pinecones Hyrule and Lorule collected and is tossing them at Warriors.

Another pings off the delta’s head, drawing another growl. “Time, what do you want.” It’s more a hiss than a question.

“You should wake up the others.” Time is far too alert for pre-dawn; maybe from living on a ranch.

“You’re beta, you do it!” Warriors burrows further into his blanket.

Time throws another pinecone, catching it in his hair.

“Fine! I’m up!” Warriors yanks back his blanket and flashes a fang at Time. “Now, what’s so important you can’t do it?”

Time blinks at him. “I’m tired.” Then he lays down and rolls up in his bedding.

Warriors is left spluttering and snapping at the air, before devolving into death threats that slowly fade into silence. Time doesn’t move.

Wild watches the interaction, curious as to what relationship is between the delta and beta. Warriors does go and wake the others, collecting the tossed pinecones as he goes.

Meeting Wild’s eyes, which are open, he bypasses the alphas and walks over to Time. The armful of pinecones is dumped on his head. Time sits up and flashes a fang, which Warriors ignores as he stalks back to his bed.

LISTEN: (long post)

good luck, babe! Inspired rexwalker au. Rex and Anakin are friends with benefiting their way through the war (started abt one year in. Padme said it was ok) and Rex ends up madly (ish) in love with Anakin over some stupid shit.

Then season five happens, and Ahsoka is put on trial. She STAYS, this time, because it’s my fix it and I need her here. Rex calls the fwb off, because he thinks, if he gets any closer to Anakin he is going to say something stupid, like confess his love for a married man to the man in question.

how are the chips found? Ahsoka listens to fives, blablabls, chips gone- THIS ISNT ABT THE CHIPS OK?(mainly to myself so I don’t make the whole thing abt this)??? Order is changed. Blame all the inaccuracies on that.

so. The war ends, Rex and Anakin part ways. They are still seeing each other regularly, their family’s (Jedi/clones) being friends and all. Padme gives birth, all is good. then, Padme and Anakin start to drift apart. This is after Rex watches the five year old twins for an hour or two, Anakin and Padme walking in on them playing together, and something in Anakin clicks again, like it did back in the war.

this time, it’s different. He realizes, far too late, that he loves Rex. Padme has been spending far less time with him recently, and one night he wakes up and realizes he barely feels anything for her anymore. He runs out that night, leaving a note saying he needed to get some air- not that Padme will care.

He goes to Obi-wan, who is with Cody (they get to be in love. As a treat.) Anakin tells them abt his predicament, and Cody is just holding int eh fact that Rex is still harboring a MASIVE crush on Anakin. Watching the man care after children for five years did nothing but add kindling to the fire. The pair suggest bringing it up with Padme, so he does.

They both reside to get a divorce. Padme lets Anakin have the kids, for their sake. Anakin moves them into the creshe, letting them get settled.

Rex heard about the divorce m, and goes to comfort his friend. He knows Anakin has been through a lot these past few months, and everyone needs help sometimes.

While there, the dumbasses (affectionate) spill that they love each other, and disuse to stay friends until Anakin can gather himself. (it doesn’t take long. if it ment getting Rex, after all those years, he would go to any mind healer if it meant he could be with Rex sooner.)
