God, it's truly amazing how awful Dr. Raynor is.

Or it could be that Marvel doesn't understand how therapy actually works.

I've been through a number of therapists in my time trying to sort myself out. I would've walked out the first session if I got stuck with her. If she is state appointed by the government to treat Bucky, that just goes to show you the way the system has failed us.

He absolutely has the right to seek out another therapist if he doesn't feel he is getting anywhere. However, given his attitude towards therapy as a whole, he really doesn't care for it. The way Bucky is presented in the first episode tells me he has no interest in complying because he had to comply for the last 70+ years to someone else. It makes sense. So when this awful therapist keeps pushing him to comply, he resists. It's everything he doesn't want to do, which is divulge his inner tribulations. It takes a confrontation with Sam for Bucky to finally bring everything out in the open, and he doesn't even put it all out there. It's not until Episode 5 that Bucky finally gets it. He does need a support network, and he does need Sam's friendship in order to move on.

I think we will see Bucky taking on the role of support person in Thunderbolts* rather than the one that needs it. He still isn't going to be perfectly fine. You never are, but he'll be in a better place.

But seriously Marvel...

It's a shame Misako's writing in the first few seasons was dogshit, bc she has one of the coolest concepts for a character I can think of

Like, she's a mortal woman who fell in love with a ~1000 year old demigod who has been cursed to fall to evil since he was a child, and her son is the chosen one destined to face her husband, his own father, in a duel to the death that will decide the fate of the world, and when she learns about her son's fate, she tries to find a way around destiny.

That's such a cool idea for a character!!!

But then the writers decided to take this super interesting idea for a character, and only use her for exposition and a shitty love triangle between her husband of several decades and his brother.

I'd say I haven't seen a character with such good potential be so wasted by the show their in since Adrien Agreste, but at least his bad writing hasn't made him the punching bag for 95% of the ML fandom

Saddened by the news The Acolyte isn't getting a second season. Shame, I was starting to get really interested in Star Wars because of The Acolyte. I was even ready to watch the entire franchise and dive into the lore because of it :/

so after last week episode was do disappointing and broke my heart to see my favourite characters getting butchered (Daemon, Rhaenyra, Alicent) I decided to wait and see spoilers about this week episode before actually continuing with the show and....... I'm sad

Daemon still don't do shit in harrenhal (matt Smith is killing in this role) and all of his character qualities are gone. He is just miserable shell of a man, and the writers think this is character development? No.

Rhaenyra is apparently a lesbian now? And desperate to be a man? ... How are people happy with this turn of events is beyond me... I really shouldn't be surprised, the tumblr community is famously stupid, but think it is "woke" and progressive. No.

And Alicent is just nonconsensual now, and completely lost.

I have no idea where all of this is going but I can't see it going somewhere good

I'm quitting, but I don't know...

(I love the actors so much I will probably break at some point and watch anyway, and then regret it)

Finally resumed watching the Percy Jackson series and honestly, I should've stayed with the books..................

Not that's a bad adaptation, not at all, at all. But it's just that. One hell of an adaptation. They've adapted the heck out of it. So adapted somethings don't even make sense.

Some dialogues are stirring the pot for me. Wth is the consesus song? WhY does Alecto die by becoming a garden statue of auntie M's? Annabeth puts her cap on Medusa? PERCY SIMPLY TELLS EVERYONE THE ENDING OF THE PROPHECY BEFORE THEY EVEN LEAVE NYC?????????????

I KNOW I sound like a nostalgic annoying fan, I am aware of that and can't stand myself either but GOOD GRIEF somethings just MAKE the story and they just cut it up to pieces to fill the 8 episode max? Rick Riordan was on the production but that's what he tought was best?

It's a GREAT show. If you don't know the books.

And I didn't want it to be 200% faithful to all the paragraph-long monologues Percy has within the story, but goodness, they could've at least kept the ORDER of things happening......

It's pissing me off so much to see it ONCE AGAIN had so much potential to be a GREAT adaptatioin by the book (for instance, THG did it, all things considered), and it showed SO MUCH willing to do better this time bc of the terrific scenery, the casting !! and all else. AND ONCE AGAIN, it swam so long to die on the freaking beach.

The kids are AMAZING actors and have it in them to be the PERFECT trio. Only to be handed out this half-ass script, pardon me.
