Im sorry for being annoying about him, I don’t get to talk about welcome home a lot so when I do I get really excited :>

First, Eddie sews! Can't remember how canon this is, I could be tricking myself haha. But I think Eddie has so many little hobbies and sewing is one of them!

He makes all sorts of things: New ties, shirts, dresses, etc! For himself and for his friends!

He and Poppy make sweaters and scarves for everyone together during winter :)

I also like to think he's made Frank a bowtie and/or vest as a gift,, sigh what a loving husband

Speaking of Frank, Eddie uses so many pet names for his husband. Darling, love, sweetie/sweetheart, sugar, puddin', bug, honey/hun, pumpkin. just so many southern petnames

Another hobby of his is obviously crafts, but he really likes origami! It's fun/relaxing and keeps his hands busy when things are slow. Also he can make gifts! A win win!

This man is so autistic adhd to me. His forgetfulness and clumsiness is all part of it. As someone with audhd I can't walk anywhere without getting a bruise from running into things lol. So I'm projecting a bit haha

Mail is his hyperfixation. Eddie can tell you everything and anything about mail/postal history, including stamps. Point to a stamp in his collection he can tell you the year it was made, where, and who. Plus anything else he may know about it.

He loves thriller novels and dramas. And sappy romance novels. He's probably read Frankenstein and Dracula a bunch of times. And he would absolutely read Twilight. Dunno if he'd like it, but he would read it lol

my gen z youth is showing,, idk when vhs was the most common/around but Eddie would have a vhs collection. He'd have the og Frankenstein on vhs and would treasure it. Again, my time is off so just pretend

Also if it's not obvious, Frankenstein is his favorite classic monster story. He feels for the Monster bc Eddie thinks he's so misunderstood. Honestly he probably relates a bit. Also makes a banger costume lol

Eddie would do drag more if he had the time, I think. (Also if the times were more accepting cough-) He likes to feel pretty!

Very uncomfortable around bugs/insects but has come to terms with butterflies after spending so much time with Frank.

Similar note, Eddie would never hurt a bug (on purpose) he just calls Frank to safely relocate it. He may not like them, but he meant it when he said he'd never hurt a fly!

Oh I could keep going but I fear I'll dive into au territory lol. I have a habit of updating technology/times/etc with fandoms that take place before the 2000s yikes

First Watching of Fruits Basket (2019)

My favorite types of anime are the slice of life type anime and Fruits Basket was always on my radar but I just never felt determined to sit down and watch it. After watching Schaffrillas Productions review on the show I finally sat down and started to watch it. Here are my initial thoughts.

This anime is a breath of fresh air and the perfect comfort TV. I’m so mad at myself for not watching it back with I was in high school. Once I’m done with the series I would really like to articulate my thoughts and flesh them out into a fuller review, but until then I want to put down some thoughts and feelings to reflect back on after I’ve finished. (some S1/early S2 spoilers below)

- In just the first season I’ve really fallen in love with the characters. I love Tohru, even though I was worried her sickly sweet might be grating to me, since I can occasionally find those kinds of characters frustrating. Honestly, her reactions are so funny, and they are genuinely how I would react in some of the situations she finds her self in.

- I love the relationships between Shigure, Hatori, and Ayame. The dynamic between serious Hatori and joking Shigure and Ayame is lovely, and I love how the later two bounce off each other. Shigure incredibly funny, and a fun way to call out some tropes people associate with anime. I have a strong love for the brooding, cold, anime-archetype so Hatori is probably my favorite of the zodiac with Shigure being a close second. 

- Bouncing off the past two points, I just want to reiterate how much I love how the jokes are set up. They feel so natural to reality yet so funny. I think an good example of what I mean in Ayame in the wedding dress when Yuki comes to visit. It perfectly captures the work that he does for his job + his excitement for Yuki to visit. 

- I think Schaffrillas’s review did a good job of warning about some of the pitfalls, but these pitfalls don’t negatively skew my view of the show. Yes, everyone has a tragic backstory, and yes it can become predicable and a little too much a times. They review also touched on how little the zodiac transformations drive the show, and honestly I love that. The story still tackles the implications of changing into an animal, but you’re never afraid that an unexpected transformation will happen in public and ruin their life. 

- Since the beginning there has definitely been strong will they/won’t they vibes between Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki. I strongly leaned team Yuki in the beginning, but I’ve become more team Kyo as time has gone on. He has definitely received more complexity and characterization in S1, and his love for Tohru makes me root for him. I’m excited to see if this romance truly plays out and how.

So i ran into masquerada spolier(again, really, i have to block this tag until i get this game in stream sale) that tell me Vasco Tassitore (purple guy with flute) can't speak in english word but manage to talk in Dimenticate (an ancient language in game) very fluently. This, however, bug me so much. Because I have heard of this syndrome long time ago, in real life, in internet. It's a rare one that cause by being damage in brain (IDK what part is it, Cerebrum i guess?) too much that the brain cannot function correctly, in this case it has switch their native language with inactive one. Causing the patient to speak in any different language but mother language. This disease can be last for 3 day or even 1 year as i remember. I cant find any proof of this in internet tho. ;-; (and if anyone find it please let me know and i'll be thank you so much. For science, i want to know it REAL BAD.) But I find the similar syndrome called "Foreign accent syndrome" (im using iphone typing this i can paste link sorry;-;) google should help) this one is switching your accent, not all of your language So if you are too lazy to read all of this i gonna use my bad engrish skill to conclude this post. I have a hypothesis that Vasco Tessitore is having a disease that similar to Foreign accent syndrome which called in-game Salting.
