I read a byler fanfic that was basically this but with Mike and Will being mutuals while having crushes on each other irl (not knowing they were bff's online) and you can read it here.

Max and El would definitely be here as well! Maybe El could post about just stuff she likes and use it as some sort of diary while Max posted about videogames and skateboarding.

Will would post his artworks, of course. Mike would write fanfiction and also show some of his original works. Lucas would post about nerdy stuff AND sporty stuff, like one moment he's talking about basketball and the other he's explaining why The Empire Strikes back is the best SW movie. Dustin would definitely talk about his inventions and more science-y stuff, he'd also try to be a matchmaker but he's like, the opposite.

What if they all met online first and then became friends irl by accident? Like idk they end up going to the same college (they all live in a modern Hawkins or a smalltown in general) but don't know that and some end up sharing classes while others are roommates.

Will and El being the sweetest twins on the planet and making friends easily (El befriends Max on her first day and Will becomes friends with Lucas because they have a class together or something) is my favorite thing okay

my first ever character Jasmine

Yeah sure i had a lot of imagery friends who you can call “character” but this is really the first one that started it all. i was really into the creepypasta fandom, listen to creepypasta stories like Jeff the killer, eye jack you know the classics and thought hey i can total do one, so Jasmine was born. dear god  how do i tell jasmine backstory or the cringy thing i did with her?. for all i can remember her backstory is like her parents are dead duh, she has been in several foster homes. during a time to one of them, the car crashes for I’m sure very good reason. she goes blind somehow really can’t tell you how, her  worker dies and she goes wander from the car accident blind remind you, stumble across eyeless jack of  all people who take her in to the slender house hold.

yeah it was big thing to thing back then these creepypasta creature were one big family lived in house that slender man owned, cause you known even though slender man kill children he has time to pay taxes I’m sure. Jasmine just kind of hang around she wasn’t even a killer per say, as far i remember it was her imagery friend who she called pie yeah pie who did the killing somehow i never figured out how.  she and eyeless jack were in love for um reason, they had really cringe romance if you can call it that it was real instant love.

as far i remember of her appears she wore a child like dress her hair was in a pony tail one of her eyes was black and bleeding black cause you know that cool thing to do with you characters. she had a Jeff the killer like smile. a pin in her hair that was a smiley face and grey skin for some reason. oh she also had rip off eye jack mask that was pink or was it purple?. yeah great character

her age if she wore a child like dress? was she a child umm I’m not sure i don’t think young me ever said what age she was.

i wrote a story it was first creepy-pasta story i wrote, it was that the same thing as backstory, in the house the killer are being killed off Mysterious, the rest of the survivor are trying to figure out who, Jasmine wasn’t really concerned about a far as i remember she like oh their dead that so sad while her and Jack have this “romance”

the story was suppose to have a twist but i gave up on it, the twist was everyone thinks it jasmine but it really her imagery friend!. oh you thought the killer where killing each other and lying about it no that make too sense. nope all them got along and it pie this whole time. dear god i think i also wrote Alice liddel from Alice madness return in it too because at the time i shipped her and Jeff so hard she was called Alice the killer I’m pretty sure yeah real original  of me i know she was really a background character. Jeff get killed off I’m pretty sure which i find hilarious

so how did this crappy story started it all, well i decided to write a bunch of more character for some reason. so many i couldn’t keep count, the ones i remember were Dr.alley who was parted with ticci tody for i’m sure good reason, crybaby though she was way later on, and by far was the most compelling at lest when she was written at first. there also a blind lady no not jasmine another blind lady who name i can’t recall who was parted with Jeff since i stop shipping him with Alice. there also this rip off character who design i rip off from other oc by someone else who name i don’t recall.

back to Jasmine she was now paired off with the rip off character cause why not and Dr.alley? also she lesbian  now for some reason i had a lot of lesbian character for some reason. Pie the villain written off forgotten. Jasmine was now a killer! even though her backstory had no reason to be a killer. i think she was messed up in the head at one point,though that was quickly forgotten for a killer with no real motivation other then she crazy! like any good written character.

this started my creppypata universe where everyone just has a good time being you know gay and not really killing. they hang out, make out it good time.

then at one point i thought to myself is this kinda fetishizing gay people? and there way too many characters and Jasmine she kind of the biggest Mary sue around. so i was like fuck got rid of a whole bunch of useless character Shoved Jasmine into never to be touched again file and rebooted all the characters i liked which were not many.

Dr.alley who was some kind mutant i’m not quite sure what she was  my old friend help me design her and the design wasn’t even good. she now a undead intelligent doctor who like torturing  people since she died such a brutal  death by i’m not sure yet and she came back to life with a demon possessing her body cause it can feel her rage as she dying from such a unfair death. yeah it not perfect but it something compare to nothing.

there their crybaby was always always interesting to me she kind of was a spirit or figure of revenge against awful abusive people she lures you in by crying. she died by drowning by her boyfriends hands who pushed into the lake and just kind of fuck off when she began to drown begging her boyfriend to save her. \

now her story is kind of sadder with her being dragged to the lake by her shitty boyfriend and his friends. calling her a crybaby while they do it, they push her into the lake thinking she died and cover up her murder. until somehow she come back, and she can’t seem to die and filled with rage that no one can reason with her from killing the people who did her wrong. her boyfriend has even has character arch along with his friends realizing that was really shitty of them to do, and living with the regret until he hear her crying one day .she still that type of figure of revenge against abusive people.

anyway the creepypasta world was always kind of interesting to me, people look up to them like hero? do i need to retell the story of how i almost slit my mouth trying to look like jeff the killer. or the girl who tried to kill a girl and almost did try to please slender man. i just moved away from the fandom cause it not about scary character anymore, it just about those scary character doing wakey shit and pairing dear god the sally x jeff still haunt me. i feel like at one point creepypasta character oc where less about being scary and memorable and more for shipping fuel for other character. most of the story now are bo ho my parents are dick everyone hates me .. now i’m killer cause of bulling or i’m just crazy for no reason. oh there rape in it to dead children and stuff like that. look at me do wacky shit with this other character! forgot that i’m mass murderer look how cute we are as a couple

Can i just say as both an artist and cosplayer i am so greatful and amazed over Jojo's amazing linked universe comic and just how much time and effort she puts into it.

i mean i am floored over 10 pages a month fully colored with detailed backgrounds and good story, believe me it's crazy amount of work. ...and speech bubbles. eurgh typography...(u can guess which part of comic making i enjoy the least)

Not only that but i am eternally greatfull for just how many angles we get to see the characters in the comic, the varied poses and expressions are not only amazing to look at and great way to show personalities, but also just such great reference points when either drawing the characters or trying to figure out how the hell a costume is built up.

AND jojo has drawn them in various stages of their clothes on during the comic, so you KNOW HOW THE LAYERING WORKS.

How is Time's armor built up? Boom right there in multiple angles and sometimes off.

Ah how does Hyrule's layering work? BOOM right there with an interesting maybe leather based under-armor??

How large is Twilight's chainmail and how is it built up? BAM right there.

Jojo literally drew a whole page of how Sky's clothes are built up, layer by layer.

It's truly a blessing!

AND IT IS CRAZY that jojo added so much beautiful embroidery to the characters' clothes.

(my brain is like "oh but me like to know every detail of the embroidery of every character", and i end up looking at the pictures and say "sush brain don't be a spoilsport they're already detailed just use your imagination of what jojo has drawn and what could fit the specifics", because that is fun too! like Sky's embroidery on his over-undershirt could very much be berries of some sort on twig together with some sort of classic skyloftian forms, like lingon berries though it isn't,( i know that lingon berries don't exist in hyrule...) but it would be a fun idea!)

As you can see by my... detailed oriented nature i am very interested in their designs. But again the whole comic is a true wonder, i mean, so many angles not just the characters but the surroundings. So many different zoom-outs and zoom-ins utilized, the comic knows when to change from one character to another to more than one. So it's great on a technical standpoint too. And it's SO cool to see how Jojo's art has changed through time. (that is not a pun)

Anyway, i felt like i had a lot to say, and this was me saying it. I guess it's a Appreciation post for jojo, for showing other artists and creatives so much different and amazing artwork. (and giving us amazing references)

But also it's that i want other people to see(though i think they do already) how much time and effort and love has been put into it, not that it matters much coming from me as a random person who happens to enjoy her work.

But i think it's fun to show appreciation for artists and writers anyway.

i love the way you draw age! most ppl shy away from it or try to make it look "pretty," but as someone who adores her old-and-looks-like-it grandparents, i find the wrinkles and sags and spots very beautiful. tyty for ur contribution <3

i love love love drawing older people, you can be so much more expressive with faces that have lived than with doll faces imo (and theyre much more forgiving imo lol)

it took a bit of trial and error (and studies) to get to a point where i understood how skin aged, it was rough at the start lol (from~2020-21 i think)
