1: What is a scene that really got to you?

A LOT OF THEM. a Lot of them. however I’m gonna talk about Tome because she really got to me especially when reading the Reigen manga!! I don’t have any diagnoses btw. that may or may not be relevant

As someone who grew up with niche interests that I was Really, REALLY into. Tome’s character kinda hit hard. In elementary school I had a huge thing about dragons, making up biology for them and Never. Ever shutting up about them. Even going into 4th grade I would be irrationally upset and sometimes even melt down when someone told me that dragons aren’t real (even though I knew at the time that. well. they arent). Tomes relationship with aliens seems to be a long-term interest like this, especially if you consider the telepathy club has known each other for a good while (minus Saruta who’s a 1st year) .

When someone doesn’t share that same passion, or even understand that passion, it’s Heavily disheartening. Occasionally throughout middle school I’d have extreme passions for certain things (especially as I entered the realm of fandoms) that my friends didn’t share (NO shade to them, it just wasn’t their main interests at the time! some of them had their own interests they were super into as well, love y’all if you’re reading this <3) and sometimes I’d feel as though they were going along with it just to make me happy (ring a bell? think of the alien arc).

Reigen manga however enters a more positive side to it. Tome initially believes her interests are something to keep to herself and eventually ditch as she grew older, then later accepts that she’s not the only one with “silly” interests that run their lives. Here’s where I shoutout the friends I grew up with again!!!! Tome’s growth really reflects my own in this area, especially as I opened to others interests more. I’ve learned about a ton of things I wouldn’t have otherwise because of my buddies and I now feel free to dump my own information on them!!

i think a lot of horror would benefit if people were able to do things like this with franchises after people are done with them. theyre not always for everyone but i think a lot of people are fond of horror sequels. theyre just kind of a genre staple and i like what the rest of the films contributed to the lore. imagine if every horror franchise had a more open patent, like great gatsby? i think itd allow for more creativity. horror as a genre has so much world building bc it has to justify sooo much suspension of disbelief which means theres usually a lot to work with! imagine michael myers as a free character. id love to see what other writers think of his whole "fear personified" thing. if we allow more leeway with horror and less criticism at its imperfection, i think ppld enjoy it more. theyre cunt, theyre camp, and theyre fun and i consider myself a guy who likes fun

my favorite saw film when i first got into it was saw v for about a month and a half. its basically been a year since then and i would sacrifice the other films in a heartbeat for saw 2004, but i think theyre neat

headcanons for the adult camp camp characters part 1 nerriston/performance trio because i love them with all of my heart ever

preston ends up working at a local theatre as the primary director there!! the theatre's actors usually consist of high school students and the theatre ends up hosting a lot of larger high school or college plays, and preston has pressured quite a few colleges into doing some of his favorite plays. the happiest hes ever been was when he got to direct a heathers play. he literally came home and shoved the script in harrison and nerris' faces out of excitement.

harrison works as a magician at the same theatre. he did a few shows in other theatres, a few times in vegas. he wants to become a famous magician, (as preston does a famous actor), but likes his life where it is right now and wouldnt want to be moving all of the time for shows. plus, hes terrified of being seen as a freak of some sort of ridiculed. he does bigger shows every so often, dont think he doesnt, but he mainly does shows in his city.

nerris' job is in marketing. she hates it a lot but performance doesnt bring as much money in as theyd like so they have to put in effort. theyre honestly happy with it because while the job itself sucks, she likes seeing harrison and preston be able to do their own crafts.

nerris did not want a dog. preston and harrison found a dog being given away in a walmart parking lot. and thus, nerris woke up to a dog in their home. harrison named him mantacore after the roy and siegfried's tiger yk the one. he is a samoyed. he sleeps on the bed with them.

they dont have kids ever mostly because i really dont like kids im sorry but i feel as though preston would see a child and go "ew" and nerris is the only one with actually good parents so 2/3 of the kids parents would just not know what to do. soooo no kids

nerris binds but never gets top surgery!! this is mostly because some days they dont really get dysphoria, and they still like appearing feminine from time to time (though neutral is definitely their style like 75% of the time). this headcanon is made by me, someone who binds but does not want to get top surgery, half projecting onto nerris

there are three bookshelves in the living room. you can tell whos is whos because one is filled with percy jackson and narnia and other fantasy books, another has every script to every play in existence ever as well as analysis books of creative theatre, and one has like four magic related books and mostly stores props. not to say harrison doesnt read, but he mostly steals from nerris' shelf when he wants to read.

every summer, the performance trio (along with the other adult campers) hangs out at camp campbell. the camp shut down after the kids all became adults, mostly because nobody wanted to send their kids to a camp known for being a money laundering scheme, housing a known criminal (cameron campbell), overall a big scam, and because the amount of fbi helicopters flying to the camp was enough to drive everyone else away. it was a miracle the campers were allowed to come back there the following summers.

as adults, the campers are all relatively good friends. dolph moved to germany, but he visits whenever he can, and neil is gone a lot doing research projects in different countries, but the campers still live relatively close together and hang out a lot. i cant see a universe where they stop talking after camp

in honor of the camp, and also because yellow grew on them after a while, yellow is still a color most of the campers wear pretty often, except for max, dolph, and space kid.

harrison is still scared of quartermaster. how is he not dead yet. it has been a decade. he looked old when david was a kid. why is he still here. what the fuck was up with that space octopus. what does he know.

i like to think at least once quartermaster showed up at the nerriston house, poked his hook at harrison and said "come with me" and harrison Just Did. he came back a day later looking absolutely disturbed. he probably saw a demon or something, knowing quartermaster.

Sadie you have given me the greatest gift imagineable. You really just said youre gonna give me everything i could ever want. Buckle up everyone lemme talk about one of my two most hc characters (i actually have an essay in the works about hikaru so i can talk about her for a while)

I think my thoughts about hikaru are pretty well known if youve taken even the slightest glance at my fanfic page. Shes one of my favorite characters, and i think the show and fandom did her dirty.

(Not actually that much of the fandom tbh thats a joke yall are great)

So, metal fusion hikaru. A solid if underutilized character, she has two temporary rivalries and is practically treated as one of the weakest characters on the series (normally around hyoma level but i dont think hyoma ever got wrecked by a no name). Shes used to demonstrate the powers of other bladers by constantly weakening and embarrassing her.

And then she quits battling.

Heres actually where i seem to have a separate take than most of fandom. A lot of people interpret her as having taken on her moms dream of blading and therefore her giving it up is her recognizing her new goals and moving out of her mothers goals.

Other people say she should never have to return to blading bc of trauma (to simplify that interpretation)

I agree with both of these to an extent, but i tend to take a different approach. I think she actually got out from under the expectations of her mother weighing her down all the way back in season 1, where she realized she was battling out of someone elses expectations and not having fun. After that, she proceeds to try (and in my mind succeed) to make beyblade her own joy.

So because of that, i want her to return to blading! Not full time, but i love writing her trying to address her issues and return to just having matches against her friends!

I have a lot of headcanons in regards to that. I innterpret hikaru as avoiding it because of how brutal her last loss was. She thinks that she wont even have a chance to fight, and will be shattered by another loss. She struggles to feel powerful and autonomous. She also is constantly feeling out of place bc she has all these instinct to battle but cant use them.

But she also comes into her own at the wbba and learns to enjoy blading through helping other people. By watching other people have fun, she can also assure herself that the stakes will mever be that high for her again and when she returns she can have fun.

I think iits absolutely sexist of the show to let tsubasa return and not hikaru, and then give tsubasa hikarus rightful job in shogun steel. Im very bitter.

In the terms of dynamics, i love that himaru gets basically adopted by ryo. I wish the show had more scenes of ryo behaving like her father and comforting her rather than hikaru constantly dealing with ryos idiocacy (see @lady-lazagna post about sexism in beyblade for the point about how the female characters are "mothering"). But their bond is very sweet and i think what hikaru needs while trying to deal with her complex feeling about her mom. Ryos a completely different type of parent.

Hikaru and gingka as siblings are also sweet. They have a bit of a rivalry and insult each other and both are a bit dumb (hikaru pretends not to be), but ultimately they care about each ither and are well meaning. I wish hikaru got to actually serve as gingkas rival within show.

And hikaru and madoka. Theyd get along. Theyre both very much moving away from the active blading scene and i think madoka would help hikaru settle into her role, and theyd both understand the others stress. Also theyre just cute and i love them. They should be coworkers.

Anyway i love hearing others interpetations of hikaru, and sadie yknow that yours is one of my favorites. Shes a great character and i wish she got more to do, so ill give her that. Read my hikaru fics on ao3 yall. Thanks again!!!!

first off gen. trivia—

-Was fifteen and fresh from their trials when Ciri was brought to Kaer Morhen

-Was one of the late comers to join the Warlord, since word is slow coming when you’re at sea without a sorcerer or xenovox

-Has a sketchbook filled with ink sketches of all the various creatures theyve come to know in their experience, and they use these illustrations to narrow down what a victim has seen because You have No Idea how little ‘It looked like a giant snake with pointy teeth and white eyes!’ narrows it down when it comes to sea creatures. They use the ribbon their best friend gave them as a bookmark in it.

-All cranes love gadgets. This is common knowledge. But the amount of different and unique devices Purnella uses is insane even by their standards— harpoon gun, crossbow with a grappling hook shot, pistol rounds that explode into a net when fired to easily take down and entangle targets without wounding them, and their favorite— a little wrist mounted hooking/trolley device that lets them navigate ship rigging like a zipline.

now further plot slash backstory because im incredibly hyper-focused on character plots

-Early childhood was spent in an orphanage after being dropped off there as an infant, matron was never certain but most assumed they were born under a black sun

-Matron was always very strict when it came to chores, telling them if they dont make themselves useful , shell turn them out on the streets alone. Was probably never truly serious, but Purnella assumed she was and internalized the idea that ‘If I make myself useful, I get to stay with my friends/my school/the crew/etc’

-As a result they overworked themselves to the point of exhaustion for years, until they actually got sat down by Triss for it when the sorcerers joined them in the keep.

-Had a best friend named Shiloh, a elven girl who also lived in the orphanage (this is literally just my oc from dragon age inquisition, ive put a version of her and cole(a canon character from da:i) into quite a few diff medias because im unhealthily attached to them both. purnella is already my self insert im being self indulgent already so why not) who gifted her a little lilac ribbon the day they left after being ‘adopted’. Shiloh calls them Purnie. Shiloh also once taught them how to fold paper into shapes that look like various animals. no this isnt a joke about paper cranes what are you saying—

-Was ‘adopted’ by a noble who fancied himself a scientist and wanted to discover what makes the children of the black sun dangerous, as well as figure out if theres any distinct sign that someone was born under the black sun in general

-As a result, even before becoming a witcher they were covered in scars from multiple experiments. the main one being scars from a procedure more similar to a vivisection or autopsy than an actual surgery(they were ‘lucky’ enough that the bastard was rich enough to have proper medicine because he damn well wasnt properly trained)

—also side note shiloh had No Idea their friend purnie was actually Alive! and There!! so shes extremely happy. also she grew up to become someone with an encyclopedic knowledge of veterinarian medicine and animal trivia, so she ends up staying at the keep as their trusty vet along with her boyfriend cole who isnt actually human, hes a garkain, but hes shy and kind and helpful and doesnt hurt anyone and im Refusing to separate Shiloh and Cole in Any Universe i put them in, and so there

Peter had just married and the celebrations were unending. As he danced with his beautiful wife across the ballroom you sipped at a flute of champagne. Narnians had many talents and keeping the alcohol flowing and the people happy was one of them. Half of those attending were well passed buzz but no one was disruptive. The people were simply loving and happy. Even taking away their inhibitions with champagnes and ales only caused them to show that more freely. It brought a grin to your lips. 

“What are you so amused about?” Came a voice from behind you and you jumped, hand going to your chest. 

“Jesus, Edmund. Give a girl some warning next time,” You took a nervous swig of your drink. Your friend was certainly dressed for the occasion and you didn’t want to take your eyes off of him. Sharp dressed or not he had always been able to take your breath away. 

He shrugged as way of apology but he had a glint in his eye that he always had when he caused you discomfort. He liked to make you squirm, that much was true. Edmund Pevensie was an awful tease and the most mischievous man you’d ever met. It was going to be the death of you if you were quite honest. He had no problem with sneaking up behind you and scaring the daylights out of you. When diplomats and their sons stayed at the castle he had no problem flirting with you right in front of them no matter how many times he scolded. He left you read faced from embarrassment and anger. 

“Care to dance?” He asked, sliding his arm around your waist, his lips going to your ear. To anyone else he’d sound bored, like he could care less if they wanted to dance with him or not. Yet you knew he was waiting with bated breath for your reply. You cracked a smile. 

“All you had to do was ask, dear friend,” 

His jaw ticked, his pride wounded but after you set your empty glass down you were following him to the dance floor. Other couples had joined and Peter and his queen were all wrapped up in each other, swaying and talking in low voices. They giggled happily and you smiled at the sight. You wanted something like that one day. Edmund’s arms were steady and he lead you around with confidence. Twirling and dipping, sliding and lifting. You however had two left feet and often stumbled, resulting in the two of you bursting into laughter. You were feeling light and bubbly from the drink and Edmund was looking better every damn second. If you’d had more to drink you were sure you would have already captured his lips with yours by now. 

But you still had your wits about you. You wouldn’t do something so foolish. You may have a crush on the just king but you were only a friend in his eyes, of that you were sure. He was a tease but that was all. You could never take him seriously. Edmund just liked toying with your feelings. However he was so near, his warm scent of cinnamon and rum filling your nose. It was alluring and comforting. The music slowed and so did the two of you.

 His hands dropped yours and instead went to your waist. Your hands slid over his squared shoulders and looped around his neck. You took a step forward, now you were chest to chest. He swayed back and forth and you followed, relaxing in his arms, your cheek resting on his shoulder.You were staring at a particular freckle on his neck when you had the sudden motivation to brush your lips against it. Edmund’s reaction was nearly immediate, his arms went stiff and his steps halted and you stumbled a little at the sudden stop. He kept you upright however. Yet his cheeks were undoubtedly,  delightfully, pink. 

“Problem?” You questioned cheekily. He glared and grabbed your hand, his expression like stone. 

Edmund kept a tight grip of your hand and pulled you with him as he sped out of the ballroom. You yelped after he bolted through the doors, dragging you along with him down the long hall of the castle. “Edmund!” You scolded as you struggled to keep up with his long strides. 

Was he really so upset with your action? You were a little tipsy and that didn’t excuse it but if he tease you why couldn’t you do the same? Maybe you’d gone too far somehow? You immediately felt bad. “I’m sorry if I did something-” 

Edmund halted again and he gripped you by the shoulders. “Would you be quiet for a moment?” He said, eyes wide and cheeks still rosy. His chest rose and fell with harsh breaths and you were getting a little worried, your hand came to rest against his warm cheek and his grip on your shoulders tightened. “Not until you tell me why you dragged me here,” You said, voice softer now. 

Edmund apparently wasn’t have the same worries as you as he backed you against the wall, his leg finding it’s place between yours, making your dress fold awkwardly against your thighs. His hands had trailed from your shoulders, fingers tracing swirling patterns down until his hands came to yours. In a swift yet gentle move he had your wrists pinned above your head with one hand, his other resting against your waist. Your mouth had gone dry and you struggled to take a full breath. 

“Ed?” You squeaked as he lips brushed against your jaw. 

“I’ve never wanted to fuck someone so badly. You look absolutely gorgeous tonight. You’ve always been beautiful but you’ve brought me to my knees Y/N. ” He growled. “Tell me yes or tell me no, it’s up to you.” Edmund added, his grip giving some. He pulled away some and you found yourself leaning towards him, seeking the warmth of his body against yours. 

“You idiot,” You said, pressing your lips to his in a desperate attempt to show him how badly you wanted this with him. You could feel him smile against your lips and you freed one of your hands to press against his back, bringing his hips against yours. He grunted and slanted his lips against yours, squeezing your hip before both of his hands found their way to your chest, his hands mapping out your curves. Edmund was distressed with the barriers between you two though and his lips parted from yours as he trailed wet kisses down your neck, sucking and biting his way down to your collarbone and then to the tops of your breasts. 

“I liked this dress a lot earlier but now, I can’t say it’s my favorite,” You giggled and pushed away from him. 

“Then let’s get to your room and you can take it off of me,” 

His eyes brightened considerably and took hold of your hand again, dashing to his room with you in tow laughing and smiling like he’d never seen.

Your head throbbed every so often and you shut your eyes tight against the light. Your body was waking up and you didn’t want to give it permission. It was far too early. You could tell because the room around you was still chilly. Your bare arms were pleased as you rolled onto your side and pulled the thick blankets back over you. As you made yourself comfortable against the plush pillow underneath your head you had the passing thought that this wasn’t your bed. Cracking an eye open you saw a mop of dark curls and a freckled back. Faint red lines were marked on his pale skin. 

Right. You had sex with your crush. More importantly, you had sex with your friend, your king for heavens sake. The thought had you blushing and you nearly made a noise from the warmth that filled you. Memories were coursing through you as you woke up. Both of you had been giddy, tearing at each other’s clothes once you’d gotten to his room. Edmund had been jittery, excited. Yet he pressed slow kisses and whispered praises against your skin as he took your clothes off. You’d never felt more cared for, more beautiful. But it wasn’t right!

He was still the king and you were still just a friend and neither of you had been drunk but you’d both had something to drink and emotions had been running high. It didn’t mean anything. You two had just gotten too eager. He probably would regret this. Oh god, what must he think of you now that you’d so quickly crawled into bed with him? Anxiety made your chest tight and you sat up slowly, eyes combing over the room as you spotted your discarded clothes. The day was still new, the sun rising steadily but not quite over the mountains yet. The sky was clear and the birds were singing but you could only feel dread. 

Luckily Edmund didn’t wake and you were dressed and bolting to your room before anyone could catch sight of you. When you arrived to your room you scrambled to your mirror and found that your neck was riddled with love bites and as much joy as theyd brought you previously they now made you feel sick. You needed to hide these. Edmund would be shamed for sleeping with you, especially since you weren’t courting. He probably hadn’t meant to lay with you in the first place. Out of frustration your eyes welled with tears and you tore through your closet looking for something that might help hide evidence of what youd done the night before. 

Luckily you found a dress with a high collar and you left your hair down, helping hide the rest. You washed your face and tried to wash away the memories and feelings. You needed to ignore what had happened for his sake and yours. It’d be better this way, less awkward. You’d eventually get over it and so would he and you two could go back to being normal friends. 

Your mind was reeling and so you decided you needed a distraction. You disappeared to the library, going far into the place Edmund never visited. He wouldn’t come and find you here. You grabbed the first book you saw and then lowered yourself to the floor. It would be a long day but hopefully this would help the time pass. 

Hours later you were halfway through the book you had picked up, history of something from someplace somewhere. You hadn’t really been paying that close attention to be honestly. You had zoned out, flipping pages every once in a while as your mind wandered. “Boo,” 

You yelped and slammed the book shut, whacking the back of your head against the shelf you were leaning against as you jumped. “Fucking hell Edmund!” You cursed, hand going to the back of your head. Your heart was racing from the scare but also from your new company. Why was he here? 

“Why are you avoiding me?” He asked, straight to the point. He looked down his nose at you and you frowned, setting the book away before you stood, squaring your shoulders and trying to look tougher than you felt. 

“I’m not,” 

“Liar, where were you this morning?” He looked curious and hurt, yet you might be imagining that second part. Why would he care that you had been gone? Edmund took a step forward when you didn’t respond. You took a step back. He gritted his teeth in annoyance. 

“None of your business,” You said airily. It only seemed to bother him more. 

“I think it is,” He spoke low and slow, his eyes burning. 

“And why is that?” You said, curious. 

For the second time in two days you found yourself cornered by the king. Your back was to the shelves and his hands were on either side of your head. You blinked and then his lips were on yours. You gasped and he nibbled at your lip, tongue sliding against yours. This snapped you out of the haze and you pulled away. 

“We’re just...friends,” You squeaked. “Friends don’t do this type of shit,”

Edmund looked absolutely exasperated. But then he took a deep breath and the grumpiness faded to a wounded look. “Is that really how you see me Y/N? Just a friend?” He sounded defeated. His eyes were downcast and he took another step away from you. Giving you the space you were apparently so desperate for. 

“No! B-but that’s all I ever am, that’s all I should be!” You said, feelings getting mixed up. He liked you back for gods sake, why were you fighting that? “You’re a king Edmund! You’re smart and brave and wonderful and handsome and clever and a complete pain in my ass. I’ve loved you for ages but I’m not what you should want.... You need a queen like Peter has....We were drinking, I was just a dumb one night stand. You don’t have to feel obligated to continue spending time with me, I understand I”m not what you need” You hadn’t known you’d felt that way until you were saying it but it was true. You weren’t fit to be with Edmund. He deserved better. 

However the man in front of you had dropped his jaw. “Are you daft?” He questioned and you hung your head low. The tone causing you to flinch. “You are without a doubt, the most stunning, infuriating, intelligent, insufferable woman I have ever met. There is no one better for me,” This time when he took a step forward, you didn’t take a step back. His palm came to rest against your cheek and you leaned into the touch. 

“You are so much more to me than just a one night stand,” Edmund spoke honestly. He looked pained that you didn’t understand that. Carefully he brushed his lips against your cheek and when you relaxed instead of tensed you let him kiss you on the lips again. Gone was the desperation and the need to fuck. Now it was just him conveying to you that you were more than a one night stand and more than a friend.

Get F***ed Sex Shop

Let me set the setting, I used to work at an adult novelty store. One of those places that has toys and lingerie but not like anything actually sexual. When i quit, my boyfriend managed to get a job there through me talking him up to the boss. The hours are shitty pay is shittier but we needed the money. And it can be interesting. But all the people are gossips, always making drama.

This is his revenge and what led to it.

So lemme set the characters real quick theres me, my boyfriend we will call him Mark, our full time manager we will call her Kate who had a crush on Mark, her boss RM who is super anal about cleanliness and worked maybe once every 3 weeks at our location, and 2 coworkers C1 and C2.

So C1 is a fat, “forgetful” and lazy kinda worker. Shes short, HUGE and likes to flirt with costumers for tips we cant even accept, money or drugs. C1 introduced me to Mark, who i love. But only because she wanted to sleep with us both. When she was told no, things went sour. Great at selling things, but only because she lies. A “this piss water can make you fly” kinda sales. She works like 1 or 2 days a week.

C2 had been at the store for years. Works 4 days a week, more than the part time she should. Was a little slack on her job and cleaning but she knew what needed to get done and what could wait a day. Consistant and nice, though not a pretty woman. She got a lot of hours and was basically assistant manager. Had been there longer than Kate the manager, and was kates “favorite”. Even offered her own store a few times.

The backstory Around this time, I, the only person who did any real cleaning or work in the place, left the job for something way better and Mark got in as a new employee. After he was hired. Kate, the boss, did as little training as possible. Didnt even show him how to close up the drawer or hang lingerie, because she was too busy flirting with him. She delayed teaching him things or just shoved a task on him without saying how to do it…. I got a lot of calls from Mark about how to do this or that because of it. But he never gets in trouble if he gets things wrong, because she liked him. A lot. Well he figures stuff out, gets my help and review time comes along for the store. They failed. Piss poor cleaning, everythings misplaced, customers are leaving bad reviews, complaint after complaint. So RM need someone to blame, but it cant be Kate, or C2 theyve been here too long. And even though C1 has write ups in a mile long list, for… constant complaints from Mark about harrasement, Customers about being overcharged or lied to, about her stealing or getting high, just not doing her basic job, or letting her family members steal. But Marks the new guy, the only thing that changed. (When i was there we passed because i worked my ass off to clean and be kind and work well with people.) So he is in hot water. They say “oh we need to write EVERYONE up about this.” Then only write him up, and “EVERYONE needs to do more” then only add to his task list. Well he gets tired of it and decides, lets mess with em. Kate realizes she doesnt have a chance, because he mentions me a lot. And she gets a little spiteful.

Revenge He sets up a nicer job. Then, collects all the little texts from C1- all the harrasment, all the times she confessed to doing both illegal and/or other firable things. And most notably, her making fun of C2s looks, comparing her to ugly photos of disfigured animals. And he shows it all, to everyone. C2 freaks out. She is hurt, she never liked C1 but put it aside for work. But now she is absolutely hurt, because well, those were not nice photos or words about C2s looks…. When Mark shows Kate and RM they laugh and say, “so? Who cares?” So Marks talks about how they begged last week for a reason to fire C1, and how now they have 50 reasons. But they laugh it off- not wanting to hire new people or train saying “we cant fire her for being a little mean”. So Mark leaves one little revenge seed, tells C2, ‘if they really liked you- theyd fire her for that.’ And leaves his notice.

The place now is short handed since Mark left and Kates struggling enough to ask if I can cover a shift or two. (Nopee) Two days later, C2 says she wants justice. That it was cossing the line. And kate laughs her off again. So C2 slammed down her 2 weeks notice right there.

Now Kate is REALLY flustered. She begs. But its too late. She has to have C1 covering nearly all week. C1 does a shit job, the store is getting worse and worse, they cant hire anyone because C1 creeps 'em all out. Recently we heard that both Kate and RM cant take any vacation because of how badly the store needs coverage. They still call Mark and I weekly to see if we can cover. But we are happy to watch em sink with margiritas and C1 telling us everything.

TL:DR- Boss doesnt train someone, uses them as scapegoat, ends up losing half the working employees and now cant hire anyone because of a bad employee who was really at fault.

hygiene. breath, hair, clothes, eating habits, manners, anything that might make me come off as unclean to people im trying to impress drives me off the fucking wall. specially at formal events. if im wearing snazzy clothing at like a suite 16 or a debut or a wedding bet you $100 that im adjusting little aspects of my appearance every like 15 seconds. eating mints the second one is finished, trying not to be too close to someones face when talking, even when i fucking fart i always take note of which way the wind is blowing, or im sitting down on something that can absorb the stench, how much pressure is in my gut and how much of it can i let out in small bursts to avoid sound. that or asian dick syndrome. yknow. haha asians got a small dick? that kinda shit bugs me a bit. not a ton but more than i thought it would

uhh smells bad?, when their personality is bland/boring, or just shit. over timidness i get being shy but like if you can’t trust that the person youre interested in then like what am i supposed to do. i literally dated a girl who was so sheepish all i could do was ask her yes or no questions. and honestly that got old really fucking fast. i get she was trying but like i can only finesse so much of a relationship man. bad hygiene holy fuck. if you got like ear wax showin our ur ears, or like a bleeding pimple in plain view and refuse to at least dab it with a wet cloth or tissue then pls its not gonna work out. dandruff oh my gOD. dandruff would drive me nuts. like if i get close enough to see individual fucking flakes im gonna tear my whole scalp off

i feel like our bodies stop responding but our “souls” are still present there trapped screaming and trying to move our body but can’t. and thats why burials and shit sound so terrifying

32: Talk about a place you remember from your childhood.

dont need to. im a couple blocks away i can visit it any time. (my elementary and middle school the neighbourhood surrounding it was also where i used to live so that was dope)

33: Talk about what you do when you are sad.

i force myself to get MORE sad so i can get it all out in one go and much faster. like how the human mind can only get so angry that the brain gives up and just tries to find another way to spend its time. 

34: Talk about the worst physical pain you’ve endured.

when i was a kid me and bunch of other kids decided to clog a slide with just a shit ton of people and one of my friends who came after me kept pushing me to the point i was hanging on for dear life using only my knee down that was wedged between a fat kid and my friend who went after me. i fell off eventually knocking skulls with another kid near the end of the slide(this slide was shaped like a spring so that explains why there were kids under me) my arm bend backwards for a sec after hitting another kid’s legs, and then i fell chest and fast first on the asphalt winding myself. kids are rugged as all hell man they can really take a hit. i walked it off but god damn if i didnt get bruises and shit afterwards. or that time i got beaten so bad by father dearest because work was stressful and i ended up blacking out. wasn’t even allowed to go to the hospital. just kinda laid down in my room with bruises all over.

relying on people for happiness. distracting myself from sadness and responsibilities. procrastinating in general

i dont really feel guilt save for some specific circumstances. ask any of my friends. does that mean im a sociopath or whatever?

they just got out of a relationship with someone and was avoiding them profusely and i just started to get to know them. we got to the point that when she was ready we could date. little did i know that later, she would end up dating a friend of mine. to which i promptly had the appropriate reaction of crying myself to sleep, sending that friend a text message with all the things he should know to keep that girl happy and ultimately smashing a lot of things (some bottles actually because we were gonna build a sculpture or something together with em. man middle school was a fucking RIDE)

38: Talk about songs that remind you of certain people.

mmmmmm i would prefer to keep those underwraps.

39: Talk about things you wish you’d known earlier.

family will be there for you in the end. (not because they want to but because the world teaches them that they have to meaning they will help just in their own way and to their own ends.) friends come and go. they always have always will. anyone who says forever is a fuckin idiot. lovers come and go thats just a natural part of growing up. and lets be real all the people that said they would self harm ultimately never did so dont stress it so much god damn(but dont let it slide either)

40: Talk about the end of something in your life.

how about the end of my interest in anime and video games. nothing seems to really interest me anymore. everything is just kinda “meh”

Cosplayed: tsuka-sa suou, summer uniform, w my burger king crown n my leo sign. Breakfast: ramen. Snack: none, but i did bring a package of poptarts.

This is for future me, so i’d prefer if ya didnt read but i mean. w/e.

Okay so.. I had a crappy morning and I only slept for 2 hours BUT! Con tiiiime! I got there and arrived at the hetalia panel a few minutes late but that's okay, it wasn't by many. I remembered I asked sealand during truth or dare n he said dare n I asked him to reenact his favorite fortunate dance n he was like "oh I've been waiting for this" or smth and later, I asked him how his gamer youtube channel was doing n america was like “oh dude i was ur 5th subscriber!!” n sealand was like “subscribe to me plss” n america was like “dont forget to like n subscribe. n receive notifications.” n someone dared canada to b as loud as america n she yelled when they said “be as loud as you were when u lost to russia in hockey”. at another part, someone asked america if she would rather never eat fast food again or save sealand from falling into a volcano n she hugged sealand n said “my lil bro!”. someone dared america to speak in proper english and she was all “oh pip pip cheerio” and mocking england haha

at the end of the panel, a girl came up to me n she said she liked my costume n i was like “!! r u into ES??” and they said “almost” or like. kinda or smth but they took my picture n i felt so happy gjhns

OKAY then i tried to go to the adventure t!me sing-along n q+a panel but they only did truth or dare for a few minutes n im not big into AT anyway so i wasnt rly having fun then they decided to start the singalong when they got the wifi working via someone turning on their hotspot but i had a bad throat so i just left the panel and then had abt 4 hrs to walk around! aw jeez, right?

while on my walk i saw a riku n got their pic n i was like “male idols unite hell yea” n we talked for a bit n they were talkin abt a boy idol series they had heard abt called dank!ra n i mentioned i had also heard abt that! i also came across someone who said they liked my costume or knew who i was (someone in a red beret) n we were talking abt ES n i was like “best boys go” n they said shu and i think keito n i was like “chiaki n mika.. theyre baby” n they were like “ryuse!ta! n rabitz r the most baby in ES” n i was like “oh dude those r my fav units.....” at some point, i saw kuro again!! i saw them but was too shy then later they spotted me as i walked past them n went “tsukasa!!” n i turned around n i was like “erin!!!” n i hugged them n the beret person was there too bc they were their friend apparently and kuro said they were just gonna b kuro for thursday (they were cosplaying summer uniform!kuro like they did in a previous yr) n they just wore it cuz they were hot n went “summer uniform solidarity” (bc i was summer uniform!tsukasa) n we fist bumped and i was digging around my shirt pocket to show them my souma keychain n they were like “oh dude u reaching into ur pocket reminded me i need to get smth from my pocket. i hav Fangs” n they put on costume fangs! eventually they started looking at jojo figures at the stall we were next to n we eventually parted.

at some point, the person running the itabag booth (theyre an ES fan, i kno. their site has ens-tars itabags in the examples gallery n they cosplayed ES last yr) saw me n went “ousama!” bc of my sign n i went over n they were like “guess what ia ctually got to meet arashis va last week” n i was like “RLY??” n they were showing me their arashi itabag n they were like “yea i got to shake his hand n everything aaa. n during his talk/panel (?) i kept showing off my arashi stuff as if to say “I LOVE ARASHI” n i was like “arashi is best knights member.. ara-nee............”

at some point my crown fell off while i was on the escalator? i tried to go back for it but it was gone in the Minute it took me to ride te up escalator? i assumed someone took it to wear but kenyan said someone mightve thrown it away..

i went to metro night live n it wasnt all that funny?? idk what to talk abt from it. they did a “luigi being a gamer” video series n one of them was him playing hotl!ne miami (not knowing it was violent) n he was like “ive never been to florida but i guess this is a game to simulate it!” n it said “proloogue: the metro” n he was like “oh like the convention!” n when the mask selection came up he was like “oh look we can even cosplay!” n he went thru the door n saw one of the mafia members n went “look! a congoer! hello- oh” n accidentaly shoved one of the guys down n he was like “can i help you up-” but then the character (jacket) smashed the guys head in w the button press n luigi went “....o-oh. uh-” and some of the other games were fortnite n he played a violent game n he was like “THERE IS NO GOD HERE NOW” or w/e. they also had an “Edgelords anonymous” skit in which reaper was a new member of the group but it ended w ruby r0se describing brutal ways to kill people (while listing em cheerily) n the others being disturbed n alucard ending the session.

at 7 i had nothing so i walked around. then when 8 hit, i was gonna go to Whose Line Is It Anime but apparently its time had been changed to 7 pm?? the 8 in “8:00-9:00 pm” was scribbled out in sharpie on the schedule board in front of the room n it said 7 pm but now that i think abt it.. i think they meant 7-9 pm. ....shit. oh god damn it. anyway i got sad n left then since it was kinda empty/slow bc it was nighttime, i sat down on a wall thing to open up my sougo plush keychain n some guy next to me started talking to me abt my nails and we got ot talking n apparently he had wanted to go to the dealers room but didnt kno they closed @ 8 n he was here w friend n only had a single day pass bc he had work the other days (his name was spencer) so he was just lounging and i suggested he tell his friends what he wanted n they get it for him if they hav weekend passes n asked if he knew abt the game room n he said no so i invited him to go play smash w me so we went but couldnt figure out how things worked bc there were many consoles n screens w games, but mosst had no controllers but it turns out u borrow the contollers w ur con pass! kenyan was there running the controller borrower table. he said “psst” bc he saw me n i ws like “kenyan!!!” n hugged him n he was like “hows ur weekend going dear” n i said not that great but only bc it was thursday! also my throat hurt” n he was like “did u drink?” n i was like “well.. i have water but..” n he was like “drink juice. it’ll help. that’s what ur dad wwould say” (he woukdnt) anyway we got our controllrs and started playg smash n i went, in order: joker, robin, chrom, bayonetta, greninja n he was teaching me how to play w the gamecube controller (im used to a wiimote) n he beat me every time but i had fun!

after that i was GONNA go to the v-ld panel but i looked inside while walking by n there werent many ppl so i said “okay lets go to the BB panel then. take a look” so i went in there n there were a TON of ppl anyway it was kind of boring bc im not big on murder mysteries n stuff but apparently someone solved it by saying ciel slipped n fell, no one murdered him. then they did the raffle n i didnt win but thats okay! most ppl left after the raffle ended n q+a started n i couldnt hear many ppls’ questions anyway so i was bored n thought of goint to the vl-d panel but ended up not but w/e! oh! also everyone received candy at the beginning of the panel n i ahd a mystery lollipop n it turned out to b birthday cake flavor! id never had that before. it was Good.

after that i was just wandering around n i called dad to startdriving there but the ciel i asked for a picture of, them n their friends were gawking at my nails ns tuff n one of the teens’ dads was like “how do ya pick ur nose w it??” but after that, as i was wandering around, the gundam id sen earlier that day saw me n waved n i said oh hi n went over n they (it was them n an izuru) were like “wanna hang out w us for a while?” so i was like “oh. shoot. id luv too but im waiting for my dad to pick me up” n theyw ere like “it’s okay we can just hang out til then, then, if ya’d like” so i hung out w them n the gundam was talking abt how earlier, a mukuro complimented them on their outfit n they returned the compliment n went to leave n the mukuro was like “uumm arent u gonna hang out w me? we’re from the same series n all” n they were like “not w that f***in attitude” n i was like “did ya rly say that?” n they were like “yea. ppl dont expect me ta hav attitude” n we also talked abt piercings n how i said they seemed cool n goth (the gundam had a nose ring n the izuru had a piercing near their mouth) but how it must hurt n they said it just feels like a pinch. at some point i roled over my bag so my sougo wouldnt get dirty n the izuru saw my rei button n mentioned smth abt only findin one rei button at the idol table n i was like “UR INTO ES???” n they were like “i just kno undead n a few other characters. like [points @ my leo sign] i kno him” n i went “he’s dumbass supreme” n the gundam was talking abt getting the rythm game n i was like “jut read the stories on the wiki the game is boring imo” n the izuru backed me up by saying it wasnt a rhythm game n a lil while later, i showed them the 2 cool rei cgs n i was like “big sexe” n they agreed but the izuru had said theyd seen the croassroads one i showed em (the first of the 2) n the gundam said they wnted to cosplay bloody banquet rei (the other cg i showed em) n the izuru said they wanted to cosplay them All gjhnsm i showed them ryu-seitai too n showed them undead n gundam showed an interest in adonis! we also talked abt k!n stuff n all that! im not gonna go into detail on that (esp bc it’s so late rn as im typing!) but gundam was like “i dont trust junko k!n. like, evreyone else, yea, but junko? no. or like, any other character that’s just so irredeemably shitty”. oh they also talked abt this one messy, ugly, tangly junko wig they found for $300 which shouldnt have been that much n it was just a mess of tangles. anyway t’s getting late oh gosh. anyway they said they’d b on the lookout for me tomorrow so we can say hi again!

Hello and welcome everyone to Comic Tea Party’s Week Long Book Club~! This week we’ll be focusing on Radio Silence by Vanessa Stefaniuk~! (http://www.radiosilencecomic.com/)

QUESTION 1. What has been your favorite scene in the comic so far? What specifically did you like about it?

QUESTION 3. At the moment, who is your favorite character? What about that character earns them this favor?

QUESTION 4. Do you think Matt is hiding something from the group given his video call at one point? If so, what is he hiding, and what’s stopping him from saying anything to the group? What does the person he was talking to have to do with it?

1) I love Brent's worry going into overdrive when Colbie and Shy get left behind and the bus is looking for him, worried that even an old lady walking her dog is in desperate need of help...it's such a great character moment as you realize how much he notices/is always mentally juggling

1) my favorite scene this read through is probably the scene where wren and shy finally talk. i appreciate how natural everything felt, yet at the same time felt like a concentrated efffort on wren's part to finally get shy to talk to her. brent also kind of set up some expectations about whether theyd get along or not, so it was some good immediate payoff to seeing that yup, he right. 2) I think it's pretty clear Wren was an abusive relationship before she met the band. Who with it's hard to say. It could be a boyfriend but given her age id also believe it was her father. But regardless i think for all of wren's confidence that she has a lot of self esteem issues that shes trying to get over and it doesnt help when ppl like conibear are around her reinforcing her worst fears. i think shell overcome them, but i kind of think she needs to get a therapist if she doesnt already have one. which, theyre on the road a lot, so i dont get the impression she does have one.

3) Probably Shy because I find Shy the most relateable. Also I like shy because i kind of feel like he has the most potential for growth. Not to say the other characters arent growing or have issues to deal with, but i feel shy kind of starts on the lowest rung of the ladder. So when he grows and changes, like how he finally learns to talk to Wren, its really noticeable and really satisfying. Like watching your baby grow up. 4) for the life of me i cant fathom what matt is hiding. at first youd assume the obvious: that he wants to go solo. but that doesnt seem likely given other things hes said. and youd also think hed have said something by now if that was the case. though i feel like hes avoiding the subject because he feels like the others, especially colbie, would take it as a betrayal. as for the person he was talking to, who i believe is his cousin, i think shes just involved in the sense that he needed to tell someone. so he told her cause she cant exactly go spilling the beans to the band for him

5) I've always really love this top panel with the Brandenburg Gate http://www.radiosilencecomic.com/comic/174 Cause man, there is so much attention to detail in the panel. Not just for the architecture, but all the little activities of the people too. It really feels like a hot tourist spot. Not to mention I love the angle used cause it really gives an impression of granduer and scale. 6) i really liked the recent one between matt and shy where shy was upset matt had treated him like a kid when dealing with samantha. at first i was kind of was more on the other character's page where i didnt really get what shy's deal was considering samantha had been the awful one. but then when shy was forced to communicate his feelings, it just really struck me as an "omg this makes sense." but i somehow feel this reaction i had was 100% what communication and relationships are all about. because sometimes we dont understand how we hurt others, and sometimes we forget that ppl arent mind readers. so for me, it was a moment where communication really was at the heart of it and it showed that without communication, relationships really just dont work that well. which this last sentiment i think is the take away from the entire comic. communication is key, because if we dont make others understand, we cant expect others to just magically know.

QUESTION 8. Why do you think Liz took a chance on the band? What happened between her and Pandora, and how might this come up again given the past history Radio Silence has with the Sirens?

7) im really torn between saying shy and wren or shy and brent. so ill say both. cause i super enjoy watching how shy and wren come to get along even though their personalities are so opposite. like opposite in the way i never know what to expect when theyre interacting, so that makes each interaction exciting. but i also like shy and brent just cause of how mother hen brent is with shy. and honestly, theyre just super adorable when theyre together. 8) I'm going to be boring and say I think Liz took a chance on them for the exact reasons she said: she liked their sound and thought they had potential. though probably not shown i imagine once she met them, she saw their chemistry and charisma and thought "perfect." as for what happened between her and Pandora, i really think it might have had to do with the sirens. Either something before like Liz was supposed to help Pandora and Pandora betrayed her. Or it could be after the Conibear incident and Liz told Pandora to step up and doing something. and Pandora was like "lol nope" and Liz was like "how dare" but i do think pandora will be vindictive and use the sirens to irritate liz. and everyone will be sad

9) one of my variety details i think deserves more attention is how great the comic is at throwing in languages to kind of show everyone's ethnicity and add character to them through that. like how wren and shy both swear in different languages. or wren's extremely heavy accent that's really spot on for what it would sound like. i think it really helps bring the world together and emphasize the setting as well. because youd expect a british rock band to have more opportunities for different languages and stuff like that just due to how connected europe kind of is in general. overall though, just an endearing detail to me. 10) I think Shy still has to grow and stop being so, well, shy. Like even the recent incident with Matt kind of shows that hes n ot the best communicator. and i think thats something well see continue to change and hell voice his opinion and communicate his feelings more and more. and i think wren will definitely help with that cause she is more than willing to remind him ppl cant read his mind and he has to say the things for ppl to know the things.

11) I think this comic's strength is realism. Like this feels like an actual band that might exist and how theyd actually go about their actual daily lives. Even between the social media stuff, it just has this really endearing authenticity that helps draw you in to the drama and slice-of-life stuff. 12) I think theyll continue to grow, but i kind of feel that its their personal relationships that are gonna be the biggest obstacle to their growth. Cause I mean you have wren is keeps bottling up her past and no way that isnt going to blow up some day. You got Matt keeping secrets. You got Colbie's family issues. And then I kind of even think there might be issues with Brent cause i think theres gonna come a point where Brent has to pick between family and the band or something like that. And all these are gonna bring about drama and test everyone's dedication to staying cause love of music and fans can only take you so far

13) i am most looking forward to things about wren getting revealed. cause i feel like the time is drawing near where well at least get an answer or two, and im interested to see what sort of depths this adds for her character. 14) I get the impression that Colbie's mom and dad might have divorced maybe and then she died. or maybe no divorce. i just assume divorce cause it sounded like she had money to give colbie which wouldnt work as smoothly if the mom and dad had shared accounts. granted i guess i also assume death too just from how colbie phrases buying gifts and stuff to matt. as for colbie's dad, well, probably typical rich dad. didnt have time for his son, son goes off to do his own thing, dad is like wait a second get back here. as for why hes trying to contact colbie? I mean i could assume the typical get back home here? but then maybe his dad is just angry cause colbie hasnt called him. and like will suggest colbie comes back out of vengence for colbie cutting him out of his life. i dont think itll have much effect tho outside of everyone else finding it a big deal while colbie doesnt really want to talk about it.

Final thoughts on NDRV3

posted under cut because spoilers!

So I want to write a little review for.. i dont even know whos gonna read that? probably nobody that still wants to play the game afterwards, haha. Anyway I felt like writing a final report on what I liked or... disliked, at least for the record I guess.

Starting with characters:

When I first watched the trailer, there were quite a few characters that caught my eye. Especially Yonaga and Amami, also Saihara and talent wise I was really looking forward to Ultimate Magician cause?? Nice? Also the promo pictures oh my.. Akamatsu and Harukawa?? Hell yeah. Saihara and Momota? Yeah alright! Amami and.. whos that again? Ah yes Ouma.. well I don’t really care but sure? (haha)

Actually playing the game made me think twice on a lot of characters really quickly. First of all I immediately fell in love with Chabashira and the fact that she and Akamatsu got along was just suuuper exciting!! Also Shinguuji seemed interesting but his story seemed a bit difficult for me to understand in Japanese. After getting to know Hoshi for a bit I also became really attached to this character cause he was kinda relatable for me? and I dont mean because of the same alias, I just felt his kinda nihilism and will to sacrifice himself for the others cause they have more “will to live” hit home really closely. I think if it were me, surely I’d behave similarly. Halfway through the story I suddenly realized I really love Ouma, I don’t even know how that happened cause at first I was kinda meh towards him but smh it happens quite often that characters who pissed me off before suddenly become my bias, soo we are stuck with him now I guess? but ill talk about him in more detail later. Saihara turned out to be a true “meh i dont really care about this guy” character, Harukawa was annoying cause in the end her behaviour changed nothing and it was just plain boring. Hagakure.. I mean Momota was same, and it was even worse that these two kinda became a romantic pair cause that just made them even more boring. I could only acknowledge Momota after it was found out that he agreed to Oumas plan.

Also I ended up disliking most of the other characters, ESPECIALLY Yumeno cause she was equally boring and useless and dont act like you ever cared about Chabashira cause Im not buying that. Angie WOULD have been interesting if she had killed someone after all, but yeah whatever. Shinguuji had the potential but they decided to completely fuck over his character in his trial.

The game mode:

Tbh at this point, I cant really complain much? I gotta say I disliked logic dive and forgot how its called.. the sword mode something something. But then again I played this on pc and I think both wouldve been a lot easier with a controller. Now lets look at brain drive, which works similar like logic dive and... what? i have to pick up sex workers? Saihara’s car is full of sexy ladies? WHAT

seriously i dont know what they were thinking but that just weirded me the fuck out. The rest wasnt so bad. The new game mode they brought in wasnt so bad, relatively easy to win but to this day id need so much more time to figure out how to clear every block. The showdown thing?? pretty shit. I liked panic talk action in the previous games, but now it became a button mashing rhythm game that was.. pretty difficult aint gonna lie. Also the fact that you literally tear off their clothes until they are half naked in the end.. what. the. fuck.  Climax logic was alright, but the pictures got really tiny i think? sometimes it was hard to get what was going on unless you read the description. Scrum debatte was great, and the new feature to lie? ... Meh. Smh from the trailer I got the impression that i could either lie or tell the truth. Maybe I was just too stupid to do that, but i dont think i ever had a choice to do either. If someone was able to do different, please tell me cause I was a bit disappointed. Ah also, weak point panic talk(?) where you have to listen to many characters at first. if im not wrong it was introduced as something only Akamatsu can do? because of her musical ear I mean. Well guess that was a lie,

The trials:

Probably THE main thing in dangan ronpa I mean hey we all came here to enjoy a little murder mystery right? (jk im here to romance the characters in peace mode) Let’s say I wasn’t... too impressed with them.

The first trial was pretty interesting, well done too, if it WASNT for the point that the player character herself was the killer and got executed. Wait what, you just took my character away? after the FIRST trial? Yes exactly. I’m not sure what they were thinking except adding a bit more drama and man pain for Saihara but ill write more to that later. At the end of this trial, everyone cried more for the killer than for the victim just because her motive was something as noble as “I knew we wouldnt make it in time so one of us had to kill someone.”

second trial was... incredibly weird and unnecessarily cruel, and I’m not saying this because Hoshi is my bias. Okay maybe I am. But seriously first he gets drowned and then his corpse is eaten by piranhas so theres not even anything left of him anymore? The whole creating a ropeway with a pool floating thing just felt weird to me as well but sure I wrote it off as “after two games theyll eventually run out of ways”. Speaking about the motive... it was similar to the first murder in dr1, but the fact that Toujou turned out to be some president of a country (if I got that right, I was bored and didnt bother checking unknown words) and she wanted to get out to save her people just.. what? And I said this before but I dont believe that Hoshi just “let himself get killed”. Why’d he fight for his life otherwise and leave all those scratch marks on a fucking stone sink? After the trial, again, nobody cried for the victim, they were all ridden on the killers noble idea of getting out.... okay? what

the third trial!! hell yeah!! that was finally one i could really enjoy, despite my waifu getting killed (but she was beautiful until the end). I actually dont know what really got me to like this murder, but the fact that it was definitely plausible maybe helped. Also when it happened right in front of everyone was just really exciting! The trial was... good, until Shinguujis “real identity” was revealed. His motive was pretty gross, I mean the fact that hes romantically in love with his sister and kills for her, which also implied hes a serial killer just.. idk that was weird, but FINALLY they didnt cry for the killer but for the victims.

trial four was a PAIN to get to, istg this stupid game world pissed me off to the point where i didnt  wanna play anymore, also cause i heavily suspected Ouma to do something and I didnt want him gone haha. The death itself turned out to be pretty interesting (tbh i wouldve never thought theyd kill of a ero character like Iruma! ) so I’d say i liked this trial.

Dude trial five!!! hyped me up so much. I was so torn between hoping Ouma is the killer and also Ouma being the victim... if I ignore the stupid romance interval between Harukawa and Momota, I could even say this was my favorite trial. But it also heavily reminded me of Komaeda’s trial which was a bit.. weird. I got pretty pissed that in the end, Momota didnt go through with Oumas plan, therefore making his death basically useless.  But boy the trial gave me so  many Ouma feels, so that was nice...

The sixth and final trial... where do I even start? Well its where the whole plot comes to an end right? And the kotodama looked pretty interesting, just like the build up but then.. I understand that 4th wall breaking is cool, but do it too much or at the wrong time and its just a pain in the ass.

The trial almost had me throw away my ps vita in frustration also it was so boring i ended up skipping a lot of dialogue cause what are you even trying to get at? Not even the end or some more 4th wall breaking could fix this and literally until the end i was so bored that i just skipped through so i could unlock bonus mode... i almost feel like telling everyone, dont play this game now lol.

The story

If the beginning had you wondering, isnt that normal for all dr games? at least i thought so. normal game, normal killing, great. But the new main character! Akamatsu was pretty lovable. I enjoyed the way she brought in her talent into conversations (and left others stunned cause they couldnt relate). She was just really refreshing to play as, just the small romance-y sections with Saihara were boring (but at this point i thought its just being friends so okay) . Compared to Naegi who was seen by the others mostly as a “loser” or weakling who sometimes says something good, and Hinata whom everyone really liked, Akamatsu seemed to me like having some people who really trust her, and those who are somehow against her. AND THAT FELT RIGHT.

Too bad she literally gets killed as the murderer during the FIRST trial and replaced by Saihara who evidentally gives off a ~Naegi vibe~. Seriously why would you even do that.. It was stupid as heck, but the only good thing is that it saved us from possible Saihara and Akamatsu love story.

Continuing, Saihara loses some of his weakness thanks to Momota, and also it is hinted that Ouma can’t really be trusted or can he...? Cause what he did that was thought to be evil and possibly harmful for the others actually turned out to be a way to at least prevent one killing. After that I got the feeling that he actually grew just a little bit closer to the group and became even more helpful again.

Then we have these weird scenes with Harukawa and Momota, which are just weird and Harukawa herself was a boring character, but if you care for some tragic background and forseeable character development that of course has to end with romantic feelings, sure.

The student council thing to prevent murders from happen was actually pretty interesting and i wish theyd gone through with that just a bit more, but it was a nice turn of events.

Talking about Ouma, the moment you think hes on your side, theres this weird scene with him and Monokuma and you know somethings up. I made a post about this earlier too, wishing for him to double cross everyone and eventually turn out good, but that suddenly turned into a pretty far fetched wish after the fourth trial where hes portrayed as ultra evil and later on reveals that hes the mastermind (wait, is he really? should his black and white clothing scheme have given him away sooner?)

i guess i... didnt mind it so much except for the fact that Ouma wont appear that often anymore. he even goes as far as to say that the killing game is over, but isnt it kinda boring that the character who hinted that he was evil, turns out to be evil after all? Well a lot of things in this game were a bit boring, so... sure. We even learn that Ouma is a remnant of despair and what?? how does that even make sense. If they are supposedly students of the new Kibougamine Gakuen which was built by Naegi, Junko and Despair wouldve long been dead! Alright then? Oh yes also the whole setting ins in SPACE and those students are the last 16 humans from earth who were put in cryosleep until they reached a new planet to live on. Oh...kay? Why not I mean.

For Hope to win, everyone sets out to kill Monokuma to finally make the Killing game end for real and.. look, Ouma is helping them! Somehow that is really giving me hope for his character even if his insane laugh and incredibly creepy sprite (seriously what the fuck) are a bit unsettling...

And then.. who wouldve thought? Another killing happens but this time with a twist. Ouma wasnt actually the ultra bad guy everyone thought and guess what! Hes not even the mastermind! Thats my son. I was super happy that some faith in Ouma was restored, even tho his plan to snuff out the true mastermind reminded me of Komaeda going crazy to single out the traitor... especially cause there are quite a few similarities between those two.

So for the final trial, it seems that there are quite a few hints linking to the true mastermind being Enoshima... again? How did she even get here. But theres some weird plan from the government and the fact that Monokuma is here as well might be that someone implanted some sort of virus like in sdr2? We also know that theres definitely someone who is watching the whole killing game. And thats... where it all goes to shit.

This dangan ronpa is the 53rd installment and the people watching are actually dangan ronpa fans! surprise youre all just fictional characters who chose to be here, and so is every other dangan ronpa character! nothing is real, you dont even really exist! lololol

do i need to say any more

I think that was the worst plot twist ive ever seen? You couldve just somehow figured something out, even make it a reality tv show for crying out loud but not some bullshit like ohh the dangan ronpa fans wanna see you despair! they wanna see you have hope!

if it wasnt for that ending, that game wouldve been a solid 7/10 I’d say, especially with the last 3 chapters really getting me fired up. But that shit.. Its a literal, oh we just made this game cause you fans wanted it? we didnt actually wanna make this but you keep asking for more?

Do they consider themselves an optimist? Pessimist? Realist? What are they like in actuality? considers himself a realist. he’s mostly a pessimist, with some optimistic ideas about the people of barovia.

How do they carry themselves around strangers? Friends/Lovers? Family? always polite. a bit less sincere, more ingratiating around strangers. shy and mild around friends. tired around family.

If your character was a work of art, how would you describe them? oil painting -  tenebrism - isolated - articulate - cavernous despair

How does your character express they're comfortable? willing to close his eyes or at least lower his lids, relaxing his posture, asking personal questions of someone else

How does your character express that they're uncomfortable? wide, unblinking eyes and a rictus grin, quiet voice with less inflection. whats quickly becoming a catchphrase: “dont say things like that”/”oh x you shouldnt say things like that”

How impulsive is your character? not too much, but in the heat of the moment he makes some dumb decisions

What is something they cannot resist? cleaning and wine

What is their favorite scent? fresh laundry or fresh water, fruits

How does your character blow off steam? he decompresses a little by fussing over his companions’ appearances

Physically, does your character feel warm or do they always feel cold? cold-natured, but heats up quickly with drink or embarrassment

Describe their ideal date. something quiet and respectable--a public place where they can enjoy a private conversation. a quick but interesting meal before or after. escorting them to their home and bidding them goodnight. laying awake and giddy for hours afterward

Does your character swear? What's their favorite phrase/word? he tends to swear because i do, and “fuck” slips in as a sentence enhancer a lot. if i played it completely straight he wouldn’t swear as much, especially in front of people he thinks are his social “betters”

How does your character act when they want to seem threatening? he hasn’t tried this yet. probably gets cold, toneless, and petty

Can your character flirt? Are they aware they're flirting? How do they do it? he flirts through compliments or friendly gestures, but gets embarrassed and immediately backs down from it 

If they were a potion, what would it look like? (Color, glass shape, smell, etc.) something light and translucent, maybe green or pink, in a fine-cut clear glass decanter sealed with red wax. smells of soap and blood.

What kind of person would they never side with? the ruthless, the hungry, the unrepentant, the narcissistic

What's a controversial food opinion they would have? he loves weird combinations. totally a “x on pizza” or “dip your nugs in y” type

How does your character feel about spending money? he’s frugal for himself, but generous when it comes to spending on others

What would they want for their funeral? he wants everyone he knows to come, he wants no one to come, he wants to be cremated, he wants no speeches, he wants a thousand tears, he wants no one to notice he died at all.

If they were a ghost, how would they haunt in the afterlife? funny: would clean up after the living and help out around the house. less funny: plaintive scratching at closed doors, cold spots, sounds of pacing, banging cabinet doors in a bid for attention

Why do they keep secrets? he’s ashamed of being alive

What never gets old for your character? Something your character can't get enough of? new food and external validation

How do they respond to condescension? part tight, teeth-grinding fury, part resignation/agreement, self-loathing

Do they consider themselves childish/mature for their age? he’s always thought himself mature. but actually, his self-denial and black-and-white judgment of himself is a bit childish

What makes them blush? impropriety of any kind, and being complimented in any way

What are some ways your character acts silly? makes weird offhand remarks about birds, responding seriously to the overly creepy things others say

What fairytale/myth suits your character the best? the nightingale and the rose prob

What does your character believe their party lacks? power and, if hes honest, a fighting chance

Describe a corruption/redemption arc version of your character. the letter opener demands more and he gives more because hes always been a servant, and himself for the chance at beating strahd and saving ireena+barovia is hardly a price at all. i guess the letter opener eats his soul or something and he becomes cold, driven, and megalomaniacal. probably scares the others and eventually they part ways--perhaps violently, since ismark and marceline dont suffer any sort of disrespect or threat lightly. could only be redeemed if someone can convince him that he doesnt have to bear all the responsibility, and that theyd rather have their normal squishy ferris over an insane powerhouse. hed have to sacrifice himself/his power in some important way to make up for it though, if he did something really bad

What's a texture/sound your character cannot stand? dislikes ripping+scraping sounds, and chunky gloopy textures

Is there something your character isn't very good at, but enjoys doing nonetheless? talking about wine

Is your character good at apologizing? Why or why not? yes because hes very tactful

How do they hold onto people? physically? clasp a shoulder, grab an arm with one hand, or hold on to the fabric at the small of their back. 

What would they never forgive themselves for? killing an innocent person or doing something purely selfish

How does your character feel about growing old? fine, he just wishes hed wasted less time

Do they consider themselves funny? How do they use humor? he doesnt think hes especially funny, but gets a big confidence boost when someone laughs at his jokes, which he uses to defuse tension or establish a rapport

What do they want to leave behind? he just wants to forget his time at cobblepot manor. and he doesnt

Do they talk to themselves? sometimes mutters when hes annoyed

What is their native language? If they know multiple languages, how do they speak/act differently? he knows a lot, but the further they get from elvish or common, the more formal and archaic they get

What makes them a hypocrite? though he holds high standards for himself and others, he relaxes his standards for others quickly (“oh what did i expect anyway, im the responsible one here”). also will decry needless violence or murder, even though he murdered his boss brutally in the guy’s sleep

If your character was under quarantine, what type of quarantine person would they be? (Productive? Hobbyist? Lazy?) very productive. flits to new hobbies quickly

What does freedom mean to them? confusion, terror, excitement. its the only thing that would make him really happy, and he doesnt want it

What is something they currently look forward to? What is something they dread? look forward to getting a reward from the burgomaster. dread seeing strahd again

How has your character's mental health been recently? not great! but hes been holding it together because marceline is already upset and ismark is volatile. theres not room for his feelings.

If your character had wings what would they look like? sleek, pointy, fast-flying, well-preened, earth tones. falcon for efficiency, owl for discretion, or towhee for smallness

How does the way they act seemingly contradict their ability scores? very high cha abilities that he rarely uses, since marceline and ismark are more assertive. notably an intimidation score higher than marceline’s and equal to ismark’s that he would probably never use

What's a habit that needs to be broken? he needs to learn how to aim eldritch blast (i need to roll better)

What's something your character has realized? hes fucked

Who do they go to when they need to bounce ideas off of someone? suggests things to marceline and ismark (the other PCs), but makes a point to ask ireena (DMPC) what she thinks

Who do they go to when they've had a nightmare? nobody

Who does your character think is the most put together in the party? marceline or himself

Which party member would they pull a prank on? Who would they plan a prank with? ismark; marceline or ireena

What is one thing they want each party member to know? marceline: no matter where you come from or what youve done, youre a precious ally and friend to me. we are all unhappy here, so please just try to play along. ismark: you need a goal beyond protecting ireena and killing strahd because if you achieve those goals then youll be left adrift. and you deserve better. please stop yelling at, lying to, or trying to fight everyone we meet. ireena: you deserve more than life dealt you. as long as you live, there is hope for you. youre loved and protected by a lot of people, and its a happy burden.
