just got back into gardening so i’ve forgotten. are basil leaves supposed to be this big

i love when characters lie to themselves in the complete privacy of their own minds

Like originally id planned for othman to be the only cryptid among humans but instead my friends made the following characters:

-Angelo, regular human man of 18 years.Works in IT and is a shit in hacker who stole a bunch of government documents. He does not realise Mothman is THE Mothman. Smokes weed and plays video games with Mothman

-Bayleigh Muckinzee, a make up/skin care influencer behind the brand Revival Radiance. She is secretely a zombie. Mothman keeps making noise and fucking up her videos and livestreams. She is in touch with his wife.

-Kyle, the responsible adult of the group. Knew Mothman in uni. Very much a square and stickler for details. Love his stats. He is also a Sasquatch but people think he is just a hairy guy.

-Theresa-Marie Lombardi, Mothman's estranged wife, daughter of a mobster and Jerzy devil with an accent to match. She's got a real housewives vibe and loves Mothman even if he is a fucking jobless loser.

we played "Oh dang! Mothman wont move out" and it was sooo fun!

Id planned some stuff but when people were telling me about their characters and joking around in the chat, everything was so much more fun and goofy than i had planned and i didnt want my friends to feel like they had to stifle their creativity and be boxed in to fit my plans.

So instead i took a more losey goosey improv-based approach and ngl I was little nervous to see how it would pan out bcs i had ideas but a very very loose structure but everyone bought their A game with shenanigans! I laughed so much and it was great having everyone riff off each other
