I’m new, I just read your fic about neglect reader. I haven’t read through your blog yet but I am so excited after reading this fic. I am an emotional wreck right now and my curiosity is eating me alive with this question “Does reader know about Jason? Will they ever met? Ever have a platonic relationship together? Will Jason be more of a brother to reader?”

I’m sorry I speed through the fic and tears are in my eyes I couldn’t think straight BUT I notice that Jason is hardly there so I’m curious. Please this is such a brain rot, it’s way past midnight after I read this cause I keep stopping to cry.

anyways, to answer ur question: yes! the reader will meet jason and he would actually be the first sibling you would meet after you have left the manor. the way he would turn yandere for you is a different approach to how the others would be because in the prequel, it has been stated that you had your fair share of encounters with him.

"will they ever have a platonic relationship with him/see him as a brother?" maybe, maybe not. because your meeting with him would all be a blur to you, and jason's obsession would stem from the trauma he had experienced, causing him to be more protective of you.

you're not in your best mindset and you're vulnerable walking through the streets of gotham and all alone? oh god, only a dumbass would do that— but once the red hood recognizes your face and the way you carry yourself so pitiably, he immediately tries to take you in his arms just as he should.

but the moment you push him away? tell him to fuck off despite your drunken state? the moment you cry and tell him you could deal with everything yourself without his help or anybody else's? you just remind him of himself and that triggers his first spiral into yandere-ism.

it's the way you share trauma, the way you both feel immense anger. he should've noticed sooner because you two would've been as close as peas in a pod. and yet he failed you by being a hypocrite. you were literally taken into the manor right after his death and discarded like you were mere trash. he should've taken you away when he had the opportunity to but he was too caught up in his feat of revenge.

yet the worst part was that he had taken notice of tim before he did you, and jason had momentarily hated you too because he thought bruce had replaced him. if he had looked through that veil of contempt that he had for you, and saw just how neglected and in need of attention you are, then he would've taken you under his wing.

but he didn't, and he had done the same thing to you as most did.

so take it as you will when i say you're more or less going to be closer (albeit unwillingly) to jason than anybody else because unlike his other siblings who are bound by their vigilante duties, your big brother jason wouldn't mind shooting any creeps who think they could touch his precious angel.

and he gets it, too, angel— you hate him, you hate them all and that's valid. but you can't just walk out in the streets alone and expect to be home in one piece; so leave it to him to scout your apartment alright? leave it to your big brother jason to intimidate the goons who try to stalk you when you're not looking. even if you don't want him near you, you'll always find warm food by your table and a note reminding you to take care of yourself more often.

it hurts when you rip the paper to shreds but it breaks his heart even more if you refuse to touch the meal he would leave for you, because that probably means you saw him as danger more than anything else. and he doesn't know it, but you're already planning to make a run for it now that you're under red hood's radar.

it's obvious that you have no experience when it comes to living by yourself, so please don't fucking push him away and let him protect you from any harm. your self destructive habits only causes him to become more protective of you and it only lets him stalk you more often to ensure nobody would touch his precious angel.

just like dick, you'll be treated more like a child than that of a young adult, but at least jason has the concept of personal space compared to your eldest brother. but still, jason wishes to hold you in his arms.

heaven forbid if the joker ever got his crummy fingers on you. jason would go berserk.

little does he know, little does your family know just how much they had lost the opportunity to keep you in wraps inside the manor.

they should've never let you out in the first place.

I absolutely love your art and how detailed it is! If you don't mind me asking, how do you draw/break down faces? Your style is like exactly what I'm hoping to get close to when I draw them

OKAY so huge disclaimer. im self taught and i dont know what im doing most of the time! frankly i have a long way to go with shape language and character design so i will always suggest people to go to actual professionals and masters LMAO.

i am NOT qualified whatsoever, but, i tried to breakdown my thought process in how i currently draw things!!! for my mcyt designs, obviously i take huge inspirations from the actual ccs.

tango has similar hairlines and beard patterns to cc!tango. joel's hairstyle is very much inspired from his younger hairstyles, and pearl has a similarly long oval headshape from cc!pearl.

all of which are completely personal preference. some people take shape inspiration from personalities, voices, or whatever prophetic visions they have in their heads!

this would be the case for my cleo and etho designs. Cleo to me has a sharper voice & personality so i tried to incorporate that into what id think their face would be! etho is kind of . wet cat, but his voice for some reason gives me... round?? shapes?? so he has floppy hair and rounder eyes and ears in my design.

(another disclaimer: looks does not equate to personality, but like. its a lil easier 2 draw. and theyre shorthands and associations)

^ cleo has a higher eyebrow arch, sharp inner eye corner. etho has ears that stick out, uneven haircut, and his roots are darker :D

so its basically 2 big steps! Picking the face shape and then picking out details that would be unique to that character. to make characters different, i try to always pick something different between each person. so more contrast!!!

pearl and gem are easy since theyre opposites visually -- oval vs square, sharp vs round. for skizz and tango, i draw their eyes very similarly. but i decided my skizz would have a longer face and rounder cheeks, whereas tango has a bushier mustache and flatter face.

i am personally very fond of super stylized artstyles,,, i think cartoony / stylized artstyles take a lot of skill and a lot of character design thought into creating unique silhouettes that are still very recognizable! (for instance, huge fan of @/wasyago and @/alienssstufff)

unfortunately my artstyle isnt geared towards that lol, and alot of my face shapes tend to be very similar. so instead, i try to change up eye shapes (very common method of separating characters) and hairstyles! i have a long long way to go and i have a lot of bad habits lol but i hope this shows a little bit on how each of my characters are detailed differently.

a/n: Okay I'm getting real creative with the prompts now lol. I wanted to double up, so I spun the wheel twice and these are what I got! So here, have some Diavolo fluff featuring the infamous DDD. @om-adventcalendar

You collapsed on your bed, ready to spend the rest of your evening sitting around and scrolling mindlessly on your DDD.

You felt in your pocket for the device, only to find it missing. You frowned, checking your other pocket, your book bag, your RAD uniform. Nothing.

You went around the House of Lamentation, searching each room to see if you had left it somewhere inadvertently. Every brother you came across was interrogated, but nobody else had seen it.

You paused in the foyer, mentally retracing your steps. You remembered having it at RAD, but after school you had gone to the Demon Lord's Castle. You smiled at the memory of Diavolo inviting you to join him for tea with a bright smile on his face.

You remembered having it at tea because Lucifer had sent you a message about Beel eating all the food in the house again. After you responded, hadn't you put it back in your pocket?

Perhaps you hadn’t. You couldn’t remember using it again after that.

Your DDD must be at the castle. And even if it wasn't, you wouldn't mind seeing Diavolo again.

When you opened the front door, however, you found Barbatos on the other side, his fist raised as though he was just about to knock. When he saw you, he lowered his hand and smiled. He had your DDD in his other hand.

“The Young Master found that you left this on the table earlier and asked me to return it to you,” Barbatos said.

“Oh,” you said, happy to have the device back, but a little disappointed that Diavolo hadn’t come himself. “Thanks, Barbatos. Is Diavolo busy tonight?”

Barbatos bowed to you briefly after you took the DDD from him. “Yes, I’m afraid the Young Master is inundated with paperwork or I’m certain he would have insisted on bringing this back to you himself.”

You blushed, wondering if your disappointment was that obvious. “Tell him I said thank you. And that we should have tea again soon.”

“Of course, I will relay the message,” Barbatos said.

After he left, you sighed and made your way back to your bedroom. You settled onto your bed, ready to do the scrolling you had planned on earlier.

You unlocked the DDD and found yourself staring at a selfie of Diavolo. He was grinning and flashing a peace sign. He looked absolutely gleeful and you couldn’t help but laugh. You went to your photos to see the selfie there, too. And beside it, a video.

You pressed play.

“MC!” Diavolo exclaimed. “If you’re seeing this, then Barbatos has delivered your DDD. You’ll have to forgive me for not bringing it back to you myself.”

He sighed, looking slightly aggrieved. “I would show you my pile of work, but I’m sure you can imagine it yourself.”

And then those golden eyes were looking directly into the camera and it was like he was right there with you.

“I do hope you’ll return to the castle for tea soon,” he said, a slight smile on his face. “Don’t keep me waiting, MC.”

The video ended and you were contemplating going back right that moment. But you also knew that a little anticipation would make the next time you saw him even sweeter. So instead, you took a selfie exactly like the one that was now your DDD’s wallpaper and sent it to him.

You received the sticker exploding with hearts as a response, making you laugh again. The next time you were at the castle for tea, you noticed that Diavolo’s DDD wallpaper was now matching yours.

Im not good at words-ing but

Koharu Sakurada and Aki Tamaki

Sakurada means "Cherry Blossom field"

Aki roughly translates to "Autumn"

Cherry Blossoms are not only associated with love, but their short lived blooms also signify the fleeting nature of life.

Autumn is the time of the year where trees shed their leaves, and is associated with grief in some cultures. But at the same time, it signifies new beginnings.

Koharu died young. Too young. Unlike Aki who had loved her since she was only nine years old, Koharu never had a chance to experience falling in love. And i think Aki feels guilty for that. For not confessing sooner, for not confessing later, for confessing at that place, at that time. Maybe then, she would still be alive, she would still have had a chance at experiencing love. And maybe she feels guilty for surviving the accident, for not being the one who died instead, for not being able to save her.

But she has to move on.

And moving on doesn't mean she didn't love Koharu any less, it didn't mean she didn't love her anymore. In fact, its the opposite.

Even years after her death, Aki still loved her.

She loved her for six years, and continued loving her for five more.

Aki loved her, and though that love and grief may not fade away anytime soon, she has to move on. For herself, and for Koharu.

Those cherry blossoms will bloom again one day, and though those flowers aren't the same as the ones from before, they are just as wonderful.

also obsessed w javier's expression. whenever he has these moments his expressions are always the BEST because theyre SO MINIMAL. the slightest curl of his lip,,, the menace in his eyes,,, compared to lloyd's expressions, javier's are always technically lowkey, but the artist always gives that lowkeyness an extra edge in the art that completes the entire panel. i love javier's expressions so much WAHAHAHA THEY'RE SO GOOD

ALSOO lets talk about what alicia's thoughts are here as she's looking at him,,, she says smth along the lines of "ur interesting to me bc i cant figure u out,,," and i love that a lot,,, maybe im looking too far into this but i read this as her saying "im seeing pieces of who u really are, i want to figure u out / explore ur true and honest self". she's learning more abt the side of lloyd thats empathetic, thats selfless, that brings out a good outcome for everyone,,,, she wants to see more of that side of him methinks,,,,, regardless of what she actually meant by this, it's a very cute moment and i really like it,,,

it again makes me think that alilloyd as a ship has soooo much potential. it could be so so good,,, this moment especially helps give it a little ground to stand on,,, i just wish there was a stronger foundation,,, it could be even greater,,, ohhh,,,, maybe in future eps who knows? we'll have to wait and see,,,

also hi artanis!! this line from her caught my eye i wanted to bring it up

im willing to bet that this belief is also one that was sourced from credos/jang-cheol, just like the rock paper scissors game and just the farming/pacifism schtick as a whole. it probably played a part in how he had to convince the demons to follow him in the first place,,,

this could also indicate that living honestly and working to earn is a principle that jang-cheol followed in korea, and he decided that he would stick with it when he became credos. alternatively, he had the complete opposite principle (he was a gamer after all, with a max level character,,, could imply that he spent all his time on the game) but when he got transmigrated, he realized that he had another shot at making a living honestly and decided to commit to that. there isn't really enough to make a solid conclusion on how jang-cheol lived, but this is an interesting indicator and i think it's worth a bookmark! i hope the prequel gets a manhwa so i can read it,,, manifesting,,,

oh also the railroad! yay!! y'know idk if this is quite the preservation of nature i had thought they would do LOL this,,, could be considered manipulating the ecosystem too much,,, but also i am not a biologist! so i wouldn't know! it looks nature-preserved so i'll take it!

seems like the demons won't be too far from home too, since they'll probably be the ones employed to run the railroad tracks once it's complete. lloyd essentially gave them jobs! yahoo!

lloyd got like a jump ability and according to my mutuals thats not in the novel? so im curious as to what thats for,,, lloyd says it already but yeah he's a swordmaster now and has tons of other skills and summons too. what would a super jump be useful for,,,? so far, most if not all of his skills have had some use in the story,,, skills that are deliberately brought up like this are always used eventually. what in the world will a jump skill do??? what kind of situation will lloyd find himself in?? is this not almost over??? i'm so curious,,,

also this panel lloyd looks really tired, exhausted even,,, his irises look dulled and theres slight bags,,,, the construction plus the effects on his heart is probably doing him in,,,

alicia catching him is so good,,, sweet,,,, so sweet,,,,, ANOTHER POINT FOR ALILLOYD. again i wish the foundation for alilloyd was stronger, bc if they had established it in a better or more solid/connected way this moment would hit even harder,,, BUT NO,,, its missing impact for me simply bc alicia and lloyd do not talk/share/save each other enough. but it's so cute,,, sweet,,, this moment is nice,,, ghhh,,,, i feel heartbroken over this its bittersweet

i genuinely had a lot of fun reading this ep the moments were all so fun and i'm very glad that things are looking up for them,,,!!! this does also worry me that there's going to be one more final obstacle before we actually get their good ending. bc now that i think abt it, getting the eye of summer does save lloyd but it doesn't stop fate,,, so,,, there might be more trouble ahead. but i'm not gonna worry about that right now!!! i'm coping!!! i'm coping.

That means that Diavolo doesn’t know what musical chairs is because he grew up lonely & friendless. ☹️

Who is to blame for this? Barbatos? Mephisto? I feel like one of them should’ve played musical chairs with lil Dia at some point.
