I stumbled across a photo (by Lindy Pollard) that fantastically mirrors a little dragon I drew a few years ago.... I can't get over this...

Note
Can i ask you to explain what "treasure snakes" or "luck snakes" are?
Snakes (this includes dragons, dargons is sneks) that bring good luck and/or material wealth by living in your house or visiting it!
One of the best known ones is the grass snake (žaltys) in Baltic folklore. It lives in your house, drinks milk, and brings good fortune to you.

Kvinden og slangen (The Woman and the Snake), Edvard Munch, 1908
.
10th Century Snake Oil Potion, translated from the Arabic:
"Take three parts sesame oil and pour into a ceramic pot. Throw in five to ten black vipers, depending on their size. Close the pot’s lid and cook on a small flame...
Strain into a bottle and use as we have described by brushing it [onto the skin] with a brush. If you see that it causes harm, stop using it, then take it up again until it cures you, God willing."
—Abulcasis (al-Qāsim al-Zahrāwī), from Kitab al-Taṣrīf li-man ‘aǧiza ‘an al-ta’līf  (The Book of Management for Those who are Unable to Compose)
.
As in all things, snake size matters.
