収録データ容量が尋常ではないのですべての音源をダウンロードするには結構な時間がかかります。
音源は全て一流オーケストラメンバーによる一流スタジオでのサンプリング音源を元に作られており、DAWのプラグインでもスタンドアロンでも作動します。
モデリング音源では表現できない生々しさは、流石サンプリング系音源。
どの音源も有料音源を凌駕する素晴らしい出来です。
全ての音源でアーティキュレーションの変更可能で、以下に表示したオプションが選択できます。
Purge:アーティキュレーションのロードされたコンテンツをRAMから削除。
Volume:アーティキュレーションの音量を調整。
Leg:レガートの動作をオンオフ。
CC / Vel:ダイナミクスの動作を、CCまたはキーボードのベロシティに反応させるか否かの切り替。
XFade / Switch:ベロシティレイヤーをクロスフェードするか、レイヤー間をスイッチするかを決定。
Niente:最も低い設定で、楽器が完全に無音に。
Soft Low Layer:ソフトなローダイナミクスが可能。
Cut Off Filter:カットオフフィルターをオンオフ。
Volume Range:ベロシティレイヤーのボリュームスケーリングを調整。
Dyn:ダイナミックレイヤーが、どのように反応するかを扱う。
Dynamic Layer:Volume Rangeの、特定のベロシティレイヤーをオンオフ。

New Note Resets:新しい音が演奏されたときに、RRの順序をリセット。
Reset after:音符が再生されなかった場合、ここに入力したミリ秒単位の時間が経過すると、RRのシーケンスが初期状態にリセット。
今回はピアノ音源「Ratio」でのサンプル演奏。

演奏データをWAV24bitからMP3にコンバートしたサンプルで、一切加工なしです。
音源は多分、スタンインウェイあたりのピアノからサンプリングされたものでしょうが、微妙なタッチの具合も感じられるリアルで生々しい音です。

MP3なので音が若干割れ気味ですが、これはダイナミックレンジが正確に再現されている証拠で、元のWAV音源では割れずに綺麗に鳴っています。
このグランドピアノの波形をオシロスコープで確認すると、流石サンプリング系だけあってリアルで自然な美しい波形をしています。
これほどまでにフリーとは思えない素晴らしい音を出してくれるSINE Factoryですが、唯一の欠点は容量とメモリを非常に消費するところです。
バッファメモリも結構使っている感じなので、古めのパソコンの場合、複数音源を同時に立ち上げるとフリーズしたり、無音になる事があるかもしれないので、パート録音ごとに毎回、Midiからオーディオに変換するか、スタジオ録音のようにリアルタイムにオーディオ録音するのがいいと思います。

I think that one of the things I find most frustrating about the tariffs conversation (and I find a lot of it frustrating) is... well, okay, it's two things, which are related:
ONE: MAGA are stealing leftist talking points
TWO: That's not how protectionist tariffs work. (This is probably the more important one.)
So.
ONE: The rhetoric of 'temporary hardship to reach eventual greater collective stability' is something that the left generally says with a little more sincerity, oftentimes with things like taxes for public infrastructure or welfare.
It also generally means that everyone experiences a touch of hardship, but the wealth is reinvested into the economy to boost the collective good; the sincerity is low with centrists, but higher with the far left.
The hardship is also more likely to not be moving money to the wealthy, something that is very much happening here. There are some massive shortfalls in tax income these past few years, some of which have been going on for decades, like the subsidization of the fossil fuel industry or unusually high investment in the military, but a big one recently has been the 2017 tax cuts that Trump introduced for the wealthy in his first term. They are, from articles I've seen, responsible for trillions in lost revenue per year sine their introduction, and while they expire in 2025, Trump and this Republican Congress have made it clear that they intend to extend those tax cuts as long as they can. The tariffs are to cover that gap in the budget, meaning that everyone is paying more in taxes, on goods that are disproportionately consumed by the lower and middle classes, in order to cover the tax breaks that billionaires got.
Very much stealing from the poor to give to the rich! That's what the tariffs are about!
e.g. yes you're paying a few extra dollars in taxes this year, but it's being invested in developing a free and reduced school lunch program; while you won't see any immediate benefits, and you'll be a little strapped for cash for month or two if you're living paycheck to paycheck, but you'll see a huge load off your mind come September. Could also be a few extra dollars for an infrastructure project, which takes ten years to build... but once it's built, your commute is cut in half because of the new bridge, or the electricity is subsidized by some new wind farms, or the landfill has been assessed and built over to be a safe, clean park. This second example about infrastructure is Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, which fed money into infrastructure work and other major projects across the country; in many cases, state Senators, congresspeople, and governors who had voted or campaigned against the IRA would then take credit for the benefits their constituents saw.
TWO: You can't use protectionist tariffs to revive local industry without investing in it. High tariffs can minimize damage to the economy if the industry hasn't already left.
If the factories are still around, and the employees are still there and knowledgeable, and the resources haven't been left to diminish on their own, then you protect them with tariffs in the immediate aftermath of a shift in the status quo. You prevent the 'theft of business' with the tariffs, and since it all just seems to be business as usual domestically, it's a blip in the radar for consumers. A bit more complicated if the domestic market has also been exporting the product, as markets abroad will shift to the cheaper product you are protecting against, but you now have a bit more time to innovate a reason to keep market share.
If the industry has been allowed to diminish, or never really existed in the first place (we can't grow coffee or bananas or avocado or mangos at an industry scale, we do not have the weather for it), then a sudden implementation of protectionist tariffs will pass costs along to the consumer until the industry is up and running again.
You know how you fix that? Subsidize the industry you're trying to revive.
In 1910, there were 144,607 people employed in clothing factories in the US (1910 census, employment). This doesn't include people working in shoe factories (181,010), tanneries (33,553), dressmakers and seamstresses (449,342; presumably separated from the first statistic by not being in a factory), dyers (14,050), sewers and sewing machine operatives (291,209), shoemakers and cobblers not in factories (69,570), and the hundreds of thousands of people in the textiles alone (I'm not doing the math, but it's over a million). So we're looking at several million people in the garment industry in the US, in 1910.
In 2020, the combined category of Textile, Apparel, and Furnishing employment contained a total of 16,510 people.
You cannot bring an industry like that back to the US without heavily, heavily subsidizing it to
A. Keep the costs down to where the public can still buy clothing without making it so the people suddenly in this industry are paid pennies on the hour.
B. Train this new generation of people in an industry that barely exists anymore.
C. Build the infrastructure to support the industry, from cotton gins to sewing factories.
You can't bring back an industry that was in the millions in 1910 when there are less than 20,000 people doing it now, in a population that has more than tripled (92mill in 1910, 331mill in 2020).
I just. You have to feed those tariffs into rebuilding the industry. You can't feed them into tax breaks for the wealthy if your stated goal is to rebuild industry. I know that feeding money to his rich friends is the goal for Trump, but I'm so incredibly frustrated that people don't seem to get the basic functions of protectionist tariff application.

Il disastro in cui s'è infilata l'industria automobilistica europea da quando circa dieci anni fa ha iniziato la dismissione dei motori a combustione per virare verso l'elettrificazione, pur essendo leader mondiale, super avanti a tutti sui motori benzina e diesel e nonostante la competizione o meglio DUMPING dei cinesi fosse un dato già alle viste.
È vero, c'era stato il dieselgate, un problema minore senza vittime ma amplificato a dismisura, e c'era stato l'Accordo di Parigi sul Clima alla COP21, il meeting annuale dove la grande finanza manda avanti gli utili idioti delle lobby ambientaliste per determinare su cosa lucrare.
Due le forze che spingevano i costruttori verso l'auto a pile: la Commissione Europea, che poi l'avrebbe imposta per legge, e la finanza, a cui solo Toyota ha avuto la forza di resistere. Agli annunci sono poi seguiti gli investimenti miliardari sull'elettrico e i disinvestimenti sul termico, col conforto di prestigiose quanto fallibili società di consulenza coi Mario Monti tra i Partneroni (che tanto hanno i loro riferimenti nella grande finanza, quindi poco male per loro).
Peccato che la realtà sia diversa dalle pianificazioni. Salvo pochi, gli automobilisti vogliono ricaricare ovvero fare il pieno in due minuti, sebbene i Governi abbiano finanziato le colonnine e incentivato gli acquisti. Così da quasi due anni, senza tanto rumore ogni mese c'è chi interrompe una produzione, chi ne rimanda un'altra, chi slitta sine die una giga-factory, chi sconfessa l'abbandono dei motori termici, chi addirittura resuscita il diesel che tanto male avrebbe fatto all'umanità, nonostante l'inno del compagno Finardi ("diesel è il ritmo delle cose/ È la giusta propulsione per la nuova situazione").
Nonostante la sveglia suonata dal mercato, la politica tiene ancora sotto schiaffo con le multe le case auto, costrette anche dalle scorte invendute nei piazzali a continuare con la narrazione pro-elettrico, dando la colpa ai clienti che non sarebbero maturi, alle colonnine che non funzionano, ai venditori che non spiegano bene. Tutto pur di non ammettere di aver mandato l'industria a sbattere.
Questi sono i fatti. E ci portano due domande: com'è che fior di manager che leggevano i segnali del mercato, perché li leggevano bene, non sono riusciti a fermare una strategia suicida? E com'è che un'industria tanto importante non ha saputo resistere alle pressioni? La prima risposta è: marketing. La seconda è: public company.
Le industrie marketing oriented, tipicamente quelle FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), affidano al marketing lo sviluppo dei prodotti: sa quale fabbricare perché sa cosa i clienti vogliono. Nell'industria dell'auto invece l'idea è che gli ingegneri sappiano quale prodotto sia migliore e i capi della fabbrica quale sia più conveniente. Hanno ammirato Tesla come auto, non capendo che è un'idea, un prodotto alternativo (e di fascia medio-alta), non una evoluzione di quel che fanno loro.
Intendiamoci, non è che nelle Case non avessero capito che le auto elettriche non avrebbero sfondato. La riprova sono i lobbisti, che infatti hanno suggerito alla Commissione che l'unico modo di farle comprare fosse di vietare le altre: più chiaro di così?
Tanti sapevano ma non potevano parlare appunto perché il parere dei clienti non contava: si adegueranno, dicevano. Sì, come no? I soldi buttati sull'elettrico sono il prezzo che l'industria dell'auto ha pagato all'assenza del marketing.
Le public company, nel senso dei rapporti delel company coi sedicenti gestori del public, politici e giornalisti.
I manager non sono pagati per contrastare il potere, né in piazza né nelle segrete stanze: hanno un orizzonte breve, i profitti e la rendita per gli stakeholder privati e pubblici (Francia) nell'anno, massimo nel triennio. Anche qui, criticare i Tavares è facile ma forse il problema non sono loro: sono presi in mezzo tra incentivi pubblici da richiedere, casse integrazioni cioè aiutini pubblici e assenza di marketing, quindi dipendenza da reputazione e immagine "correct" (vedi dieselgate).
Quali che siano le ragioni, oggi l'industria automobilistica europea deve ripartire da una cosa che non ha, la capacità di competere sul motore elettrico di però cui gli automobilisti fanno volentieri a meno, e da una cosa che ha, la competenza sul motore termico a basse emissioni che invece il mercato chiede.
Non è difficile, ci vuole una strategia, ma in ogni caso non torneranno i volumi di prima. Per produrre un'auto ci vuole un cliente che la paghi il giusto. E se ciò significa allungare il ciclo fino a dieci anni e oltre va bene, visto che anche i finanziamenti sono arrivati a 96 e anche 120 mesi. I prodotti attuali hanno una qualità che può reggere benissimo. I clienti l'hanno capito e si stanno comportando di conseguenza. In pochi anni, il primo passaggio di proprietà è passato da 7 a oltre 8 anni e la vita media da 25 a 29 anni. L'auto torna a essere quell'acquisto importante, da pianificare con cura perché dovrà andar bene a lungo. In termini di marketing è un prodotto diverso da quello di cinque/sei anni fa.
Nota specifica sull'industria automobilistica italica. Oramai scomparsa?Anche questo è un fatto di cui prendere atto, non per farci sopra pianti nostalgici tipo, ah se ci fossero ancora Valletta o Agnelli (Valletta? Agnelli?!), i Ferrati i Maserati i Lamborghini.
Sarebbe il caso di prenderne atto e possibilmente VANTAGGIO: di fatto è una evoluzione (fuori dai prodotti di massa, li lasciamo volentieri a cinesi e francesi) allineata alla nostra VOCAZIONE NAZIONALE AI LUXURY GOODS. Finita la parentesi Balilla (btw voluta da Mussolini) poi 500 600 Uno Tipo Alfasud etc., l'Italia torni ad essere la terra delle BELLE AUTO POTENTI DA SOGNO. Da pagare il giusto, e mica solo Ferrari: anche la tacca medio alta di Alfa e Lancia sarebbe da resurreggere con chi si vuole, basta sia qualcuno che comprenda l'ottica di mercato sopra detta del "se dura il giusto e fa sognare, allora si paga il giusto". Aiuterebbe il piano finirla con le finte lagne neo pauperiste locali: UN GRANDE SI alle super car come agli yacht, al fashion e ai gioielli, al vino e al cibo buono. Vuol dire non disincentivare il mercato interno, altrimenti ci si "Emiratizza" nei gusti come fa la ceramica.
Post-it: ricordarsi di dire tutto questo agli ingegneri. O meglio, farlo presente ai nuovi GranCapi, in modo che scelgano Direttori Marketing in gamba e NON provenienti dal settore.

frequently wearing a mask that covers the upper half of their face; often plain colored with some painted details, such as vines, eyes or abstract lines. they paint their own designs - they doodle a lot while taking breaks.
faint lattice of scarring on top of head in memory of being buried alive. otherwise no scars of note.
underneath the mask, looks perpetually tired, with dark circles that never go away. typically very low affect in both expression and voice, speaks with a sort of soft, unwavering drone. not charming in personality, but used to sell ponzi schemes on the surface on the strength of their dead-pan manner making them sound completely and unshakably confident in whatever they’re saying.
casual interest in false-stars, especially a certain one of unusual brightness that was first sighted a few years ago. primarily studies Neathy animals and monsters. a bit scatter-minded and out of it as a professor, but students who thrive on hands-on, low-oversight learning rate them a solid “alright”. no longer spends much time teaching since taking a job as Director of one of Mr Fires' newest laboratories.
considers themself a parent to the moon-miser hybrid, and misses it greatly. may or may not be making preparations to grow a new monster baby in their lab. <3 now parent to a fluffy orange and cosmogone baby bat the size of a toddler of "mysterious" origins.
allergic to smoke and very much almost died when Mr Fires took them into an underground library and set it on fire with them still in it. incidentally has a “rivalry” with Mr Fires that consists of them metaphorically hitting each other with brooms. nowadays, is deeper entwined with Mr Fires than ever before, but don’t worry about it.

once student worker in Crow Melusine’s lab. asked by Crow Melusine to bring them the Vake, and no one was merciful enough to tell them the Professor expresses wanting a new monster to study literally every week and they could just ignore it.
child of a Khaganian mother and a Londoner father; grew up in London. used to work in one of Mr Fires’ factories as a crowner’s assistant, which mostly involved patching up injuries and “investigating” worker deaths/accidents and determining that the factory was not at fault and would not be compensating the family in any way. bit soul crushed about it.
“poached” by Crow Melusine, who helped them get into Benthic on the strength of their knowledge of anatomy and basic medical care mostly to tweak Mr Fires’ wires. Carver feels indebted anyway, because literally anything is better than the factory.
sought the Vake to gather samples for Crow Melusine’s research, but found themself captivated by it after coming briefly face to face with it. eventually got their sample, but gained permanent mobility issues from their wounds and was forced to give up the hunt.
now runs a small clinic in Spite, with an attached morgue for the temporarily dead--for safe storage until their recovery, or, for an extra fee, a guarantee that the deceased will stay dead an extra day or two. also does tattoos on the side. the clinic is guarded by three puppy-sized spiders, which they vehemently deny doting on like pets.
has never forgotten the Vake.
conscientious. arms like tree trunks. periodically non-verbal. nerve damage down left side of body from taking a claw to the shoulder. cane user. missing something. has something strange and bittersweet going on with Ada.

child of a well-to-do industrialist father. never fit in with her peers. left home to become a monster hunter on a whim, but found that the hunt suited her. hedonistic and a bit thoughtless, loves jewelry and cares about her appearance. smug and smirking and sharp of tooth, but never really lets anyone see her innermost self.
the last Vake-hunter. killed the Vake and made it a part of herself.
still, an emptiness is left behind.
met Carver while looking to have an injury treated, and recognized something in their ever-unfulfilled longing for the Vake. can be found coming and going around their clinic at all hours ever since. hates that Carver lets the giant spiders sleep on the bed.

Broken Tree of Ephemera, Mr Silk heart’s desire/alt they/it/she, depending on the identity they’re using
a Sorrow-Spider council that failed to reach consensus and split apart. many of their members died or scatted, but a core cohort remains, refusing to accept the pain of being apart, even when other sorrow-spiders dismissed the idea of wasting time and resources on trying to fix a failed union.
they co-inhabit a human-like silk puppet, with which they’ve infiltrated the human population of London in pursuit of a way to re-meld. thus, they came into contact with the marvellous.
have they been touched by the lives they came into contact with in the game and in their interactions with humanity? difficult to tell. though lifelike, their blank-faced doll body expresses little.
nevertheless, they won their hearts’ desire. the Masters, however, were none too keen to upset the Neath‘s already strained balance of power by handing the sorrow-spiders a brand new, red science-improved spider-council, and the Tree of Ephemera was obliged to agree to a transformation that might be more... easily controlled, and the duties and title of Mr ____ ...well, it’s a work in progress. the Tree is well aware that the Masters have no intention of ceding any real power to them, so they see little point in arbitrarily choosing an area of trade, despite their new colleagues’ repeated attempts to explain the necessity to their new nature. the only thing that matters is that the change will make them whole again: one body, a joined mind.
so far, to their so-called colleagues’ chagrin, their changes have not been wholly curatorial in nature. their puppet is growing as many flecks of shiny carapace as patches of fur, and has recently grown a glittering array of additional eyes.
less pleasing, they have begun to develop a distracting interest in weaving, silk, and other fabrics. Mr Veils watches them with increasing anticipation of an excuse to swat a gnat.

when her brother Ashley’s lover was tragically murdered, he left his home and family and ventured to the Neath alone in search of her killer. there, he was killed (permanently), leaving his revenge unfulfilled.
as Ashley’s twin, Penelope has spent her life in his shadow. kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and naturally talented with every paintbrush, instrument or weapon placed in his hands, Ashley was loved by everyone. the ideal son. in contrast, Penny was just... Penny. after her twin’s death, it seemed only natural that she should take on his burden, following him to the Neath and taking on his identity to continue his pursuit. after all, he was the best thing about her.
is "Ash” avenging his brother, or the lover that he hardly knew? does it really matter?

I tried to play with the concept of ice and fire as well as velvet and steel, so at one point I had a dozen of titles that were all like “ice of velvet”, “velvet ice” but they all sounded like cocktail names to me 💀 I’m obsessed with titles. They would linger on the threshold, looking utterly lost at the whirlwind of greek letters and numbers —multiplied, divided, square root, sine and cosine, integrals, factorials, 3,1415926535–and then withdraw, bestowing a childish sense of victory upon him while rolling down a chute of arrogance and superiority.

Părinții sunt deranjați când odraslele lor petrec foarte mult timp în fața dispozitivelor. Însă care este principala lor grijă? Că își pot strica vederea sau că nu mai fac treabă prin casă.
Însă câți părinți au fost îngrijorați de adevăratele pericole pe care le ascunde internetul? Câți părinți au vorbit cu ei despre ele?
Din momentul în care părintele îi pune copilului său telefonul în mână și acces la internet trebuie să îi vorbească de riscurile care vin la pachet: dacă îi scrie un necunoscut, dacă îi cere anumite fotografii sau favoruri sau dacă îl șantajează, el trebuie să știe cum să reacționeze și ce să facă.
În acest sens, importante sunt comunicarea și încrederea. Cel mai adesea, neîncrederea în părinți îi împiedică pe adolescenți să sesizeze abuzurile.
Astfel, potențialele victime sunt adolescentele care provin dintr-un mediu dezorganizat, familii mono-parentale sau cu ambii părinți plecați în afară. Când, în loc de înțelegere adolescenții primesc critici, certuri, reproșuri, vor căuta un alt mediu unde să se simtă bine. Și asta este exact ceea ce loverboy-ul oferă.
Dorința de a fi înțeleși, validați, de a avea un refugiu, atitudinea empatică, ascultarea, răbdarea sunt factori care îi pun în situații de risc și care îi determină să accepte anumite cereri.

Something I can not get over about living in a small town, are the intersections that have disturbing local names based off of bad accidents that happed there, examples are:
Red Cap Corner - I do not know the history behind the name, all I know is that too many people got into accidents that the town got together and and yelled at the mayor to put in a light so that people would stop dying. It was the first intersection in the whole county to get a traffic light put in!
5 points - I’ve herd two different story’s about its name, the first is about how it was a 5 car pile up, the other is about how its a 5 way intersection, the only constant is that people kept dying at that intersection so the town got together and threatened the the mayor into putting up a traffic light.
Falls hit and run’s - refers to a crossing lane for pedestrians moving from the parking lot to the factory, there are now cameras and two huge signs that flash when a person is crossing. Growing up there was only the big sings, and they did not flash, but after someone was killed in a hit in run that was never solved the cameras and flashing lights were added.
400 - Just refers to the street number, but my own Dad actually got into a very bad accident there right before Covid (He was completely fine, but his truck was totaled) anyway his accident had been the seventh at that intersection that year so the county put in flashing stop sines and turned it into a 4 way stop!
Long story short I think my town has a big problem with safe driving, and we just keep putting band-Aids on bullet holes 🫤
