Note: If aren't going to participate in Pro-Palestine action, do not mention it!
For accountability:
This is how Magz plans support Palestine during Global Strike January 21 to 28.
Am going to put more Palestine posts in queue, with more focus.
Am going to not spend on anything during week, nor go out (rare anyway).
Am going to not publicly post our arts and promos (of art freelance work).
Am going to read and learn more on Palestine - as there still more can learn.
Am going to be even more visibly pro-Palestinian.
Am going to continue keeping up with what's happening in Gaza.
Am going to continue boycotting products and services on BDS' Boycott List, including not giving free social media promo and good impressions.
Am going to try learn Palestinian Arabic.
Am going to describe, transcribe, and alt text posts on Palestine when possible - to make it more accessible (Am Multiply Disabled).
Am going to share ways to help.
One of shorter checklist options:
Tumblr media
Longer checklists:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But really just do *anything* that support and raise awareness *more*, learn, or contribute. Whatever can manage do n able sustain.
If wasn't able to prepare in time, can still participate for rest of week. Is not "all or nothing", don't have to give up. Keep Palestine in your thoughts and actions !

Rotated Lumbar Vertebrae Caused Intractable Problems An older client who was in for their third NMR® treatment came in with a complaint about her right low back and hip, initially massively disorganized due to being hit by a car as a pedestrian and knocked down. She fell on her right sacrum. She's been in pain for 1 1/2 years with no relief no matter what she had tried. The origins of the lower external rotators were very painfully tight and the hip was in a constant clench. The tight hip makes total sense from both the fall and the fact that the right lumbar erectors weren’t engaged. The hip grips to give some stability to the upper body since the erectors are not firing on that one side. This pattern is very common once the rotational reciprocal reciprocity of the Rotatores have been damaged. The remainder of the problem visible today was strong pain at L3. Something was pulling L3 into a left rotation. With L3 rotated left the right Psoas was facilitated and the left one inhibited. They could not alternate in walking without blowing a fuse on the left. The more she walked the tighter the right Psoas would get. The client was astonished to notice that when she thought about circling her spine to the left it was easy and circling to the right she could not do it. The circle was full of zigzags and blank spots. The QL at L3 was tight. Releasing the QL at L3 on the right enabled the lumbar spine to rotate in either direction. We reprogrammed the rotational movement of her L3 vertebrae also, after which we rebalanced her Psoas muscles with each other so they both worked reliably. All of this disorganization was affecting her neck, which was similarly locked and painful and confused about how to move. She forgot to mention this at the beginning of the session. This illustrates how NMR works to solve coordination issues at the source and gives you a greater picture of how different issues in the body can result in pain elsewhere in the body, which once addressed leads to greater mobility and reduced pain with less work.

Image and text description: GIFs showing part of Norman Finkelstein's 2015 speech to the UCD Philosophy Society, University College Dublin, about Israel's occupation of Palestine.
Transcript: "My late father was in Auschwitz concentration camp My late mother was in Madjanek concentration camp Every single member of my family on both sides was exterminated. Both of my parents were in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. And it is precisely and exactly because of the lessons my parents taught me and my two siblings - that I will not be silent when Israel commits its crimes against the Palestinians."

Tattoos for Gaza: 100+ tattoo artists around the world will raise funds for Palestinians this weekend
Article date: May 2, 2024.
Article highlights:
Randa Jarrar and Ariana Bazlamit are Palestinian American activists living in the diaspora of their homeland. [...]
So, they started reaching out to their tattoo artist friends, and the Hibr project was born. Now, over 170 tattoo artists across the globe will be offering tattoos in support of Palestinians this weekend. [...]
The first organization they said they will be supporting is Ele Elna Elak, a student-led organization that was created in 2018 with the help of Gazan journalist Bisan Owda.
On a GoFundMe page, Ele Elna Elak said that its volunteers also raise funds to help families buy other staples like water, firewood, medicine, and clothes — all while trying to survive alongside their own families.
Bazlamit also said that funds from the Hibr project will be donated to mutual aid campaigns that support Gazans with aid or by paying evacuation fees. To expedite the process of fleeing the area, many families have created mutual aid funds or GoFundMe pages, which allow them to access donated funds more quickly than through the help of a registered nonprofit or NGO.
That being said, Bazlamit said that she and Jarrar will document every dollar raised and donated on their Instagram account to ensure transparency. The choice to donate to on-the-ground Palestinians comes after months of aid struggling to reach those who need it most.“It’s incredibly important to us that we instill confidence in our tattooers and clients alike. We have nothing to hide, so we plan to hide nothing,” Bazlamit said. “We are happy to share the receipts with the public, in hopes that we’re able to garner even more support for our people.”
The choice to donate to on-the-ground Palestinians comes after months of aid struggling to reach those who need it most. [...]
Originally, a single date — May 4 — had been set aside for the international fundraiser, but Jarrar and Bazlamit have now added two other specific dates for participating artists: June 1 and July 16.
Interested tattoo artists just have to submit a form to be part of the collective, which includes having their work shared on the Hibr Instagram account. (Continued in article)

HYPERMOBILE SACROILIAC JOINT PT 2 IN Part 1 We looked at the fixated muscles in the extensor compartment (particularly the right hip), that are contributing to the lack of functional support for the left SIJ. At the end of our short demo we saw no further inhibition in the right hip. The PT was focusing on conditioning the weak lateral muscles in the right hip, but it's the LEFT SIJ that's unstable. The next step in correcting this left SIJ pattern is to test the relationships between the hip flexors and back extensors and lateral stabilizers. Here's what we found... There is indeed a tightness on the right contributing to the weakness on the left. This pattern is exceedingly common. Either Iliacus can torque the pelvis and weaken the back extensors. Testing the back extensors, hip extensors, QL for side bending and Glut Med/Min Lateral stabilization and SIJ stabilization revealed and the right Iliacus muscle AND the Rect Femoris were contributing to the persistent weakness of the left SIJ. Whenever your client is exhibiting persistent weakness in the back muscles, ALWAYS LOOK TO EXCESSIVE SHORTNESS IN THE ILIACUS. Even if you don't know muscle testing if you notice a tight Quad and Hip Flexor, you can help the back by lengthening the front of the hip joints. Passive stretching is not as good as tissue lengthening followed by a regime of stretching. The challenge with stretching tight muscles is that they are short fo a reason. Find out with NeuroMuscular Reprogramming. Enrollment in NMR comes with a FREE video of Manual Muscle Tests for the whole body! Here's my favorite stretch for the front of the hips...It starts easy and doesn't require balancing while stretching. No extra points for no hands! The key is one knee behind and the other knee dipped.

Post Date: February 23, 2024
Today 40 Palestinians died in an Israeli shelling of homes in central Gaza, while more than 100 were severely injured (majority women and children). Yesterday Israel bombed Syria, killing two. Israel also bombed Lebanon, killing a woman and a girl.
Just to be crystal clear—Israel is now simultaneously bombing Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

Basically:
Windows 10 education and enterprise editions will stop having security updates in June 2024, while other Windows 10 editions will stop having support on October 11, 2025. Without security updates, machines will be more vulnerable to security exploits and bugs won't get fixed.
Windows 10 has been announced to get an Extended Security Updates plan that will require subscription payment (of currently unknown price). Which isn't realistic for many people.
Because of Windows 11 having higher system requirements, a lot of lower-end machines won't be able to officially upgrade to Windows 11, with unofficial workarounds still meaning can't get security updates after.
This basically means that while many recommend to switch machines to a GNU/Linux-based OS - a reasonable option, many perfectly-functioning machines will likely become e-waste as people switch to Windows 11-compatible machines.

Lets Talk Palestine (Instagram channel)
February 24, 2024
• 92 Palestinians killed, 121 injured in Gaza in past 24 hours
• Mass anti-government protests across Tel Aviv as Israeli’s have grown impatient to lack of a hostage deal and are calling for an election to see Netanyahu leave, showing mounting disdain for the government. Police have arrested 21 people and reports show the use of water cannons to disperse protestors
• Israeli air raid hits home housing displaced Palestinians in Rafah, killing 7 incl. 1 child
• Gaza ceasefire talks in Paris seems to be the most serious push in weeks; Israel’s war cabinet will convene to vote on the proposed outline & framework, indicating that something “tangible” was produced, especially as Israeli negotiators will be sent to to Qatar to continue talks. This doesn’t mean a ceasefire is close or that Israel has halted its plan to invade Rafah — these talks are unpredictable & subject to change
• Armed Israeli settlers assault 2 Palestinians at a make-shift checkpoint in Hebron (West Bank)
-
February 25, 2024
• 86 Palestinians killed, 142 injured in Gaza in past 24 hours
• Palestinians in northern Gaza are being starved as they’ve been cut off from aid as Israel’s relentless bombardment has prevented aid transport from southern Gaza; UNRWA hasn’t delivered any aid since Jan 23. Kamal Adwan Hospital (north) reports increased malnutrition: 1 in 6 kids are “severely malnourished” + hospitals struggling due to lack of fuel, medicine & ambulances
👆 Almost all aid in Gaza goes through Rafah crossing (Egypt) in the south but in recent weeks it has been almost totally halted, dropping from 200 trucks/day to 57, some days less than 20. 2,000+ trucks with enough to feed the entire population have piled up outside the crossing, prevented from entering by Israel. Meanwhile, Israelis have been protesting for weeks at Karem Abu Salem crossing, blocking aid trucks
• Netanyahu affirms Rafah ground invasion, saying a hostage deal would only somewhat delay the invasion
