Comparable to: The Masters Sun (kdrama); From Now on Showtime! (Kdrama) ; Hotel del Luna (kdrama); Bring it on Ghosts (kdrama);
This was a beautifully written drama that had a few hiccups along the way. It definitely won’t be for everyone, but it has a lot of heart and a lot of well written characters. For me it fit into my favorite genre perfectly and gave me a slight feel of the western drama ‘Pushing Daisies’ void that I was missing. It does have its problems, it gets sometimes a bit uneven throughout the series and the romance did get a tad bit cliche with the whole love triangle bit, but it didn’t really matter since both leads had an extraordinary amount of chemistry together. I actually wished it used it more towards the somewhat meh ending. And for the episodic ‘ghost of the week’ stories….. I can’t count how many times it had me reaching for the tissues. Overall definitely recommend.
