Shanks, because he is infinitely more politically minded than Mihawk (a man actually in the government) will ever have the patience to be, is more than likely aware that the marines will be extremely rattled and that the blow back would be intense if a Warlord of the sea was seen around an Emperor.
And sinces he’s not trying to cause a WG incident everytime he tried to go on a date with his pretty bird and also because he’s just a troll at heart. Shanks has collection of increasingly ridiculous giant sunglasses that he insists (read pouts) that Mihawk wear to hide his gorgeous eyes, before they go anywhere they could be seen.
What started out as a “necessity” had quickly grown into Shanks’ pet project of finding out just how absurd a pair of sunglasses could be and how much would he have to beg before Mihawk put them on?

Greedy
Pairing: Donquixote "Corazón" Rosinante x Fem!Reader
Rating: EXPLICIT (18+), MDNI!
Summary: Rosinante never knew he could be so greedy until he met you.
Warnings: SMUT! Established Relationship, Pining, Fingering, Cunnilingus, Multiple Orgasms, Overstimulation
Rosinante once thought greed was not in his nature.
He had grown up on scraps, shoving half-bitten fruit and moldering meat into his mouth faster than he could draw breath, uncertain of when his next meal would be. He had lived in the dark alleyways and decrepit homes of strangers lost to history, thankful that the day had not been his last. Even as he lay shivering and sick, he found solace in the fact that a bullet had not found him, nor the punishing hands of those who wished to spill his celestial blood.
His desires had always been reasonable. Food to sustain him. A temporary place to lay his head. A way to escape his callous brother. Rosinante only ever wished for what he needed, never what he wanted…until he met you.
It’s strange. If Rosinante tries to think back on it, he can’t quite pinpoint when you become so precious to him.Your paths had crossed serendipitously one day, when he had slipped away from Doflamingo and his insufferable company to draft reports for Sengoku. Rosinante found shelter in your humble tavern, a simple little thing at the edge of town—far enough from the Donquixote family’s current headquarters to allow him a moment of respite.
You had been cautious in the beginning, aware of how dangerous members of the Donquixote family were, especially when provoked, but with each visit, you began to shift before Rosinante’s eyes. Your clipped words had turned into full sentences, soft inquiries. Your quick retreat to the kitchen whenever he appeared had stopped. Gradually, you both began to thaw, finding comfort in the other’s presence and soon Rosinante was escaping to your homely tavern regardless of if he had reports to draft or not.
There was a softness in your gaze that captivated him—a pretty lilt to your laughter that was so different from the cruel humor of his brother’s underlyings.
Maybe that was when his heart first stirred, the moment you laughed while helping put out the flames that slowly spread across his feathered coat. There was no deprecation, none of the censuring he had come to expect. You had been kind, and Rosinante had not realized how long he had been denied such a simple act—how much his heart secretly craved it.
And in turn, he began to crave you.
“Rosi—”
The breathless call of his name rips Rosinante from his recollections.
He blinks, forcing the fog in his mind away until the image of you beneath him becomes clear again, and he wonders how he had allowed himself to get distracted in the first place.
“Hm?” he hums softly, tilting his head to the side as his eyes sweep over your face.
You’re a lovely mess beneath him. Beautiful. The thought finds him every time he sees you, and yet it still feels like a revelation. Your long lashes flutter as you meet his gaze, your bottom lip trembles, looking so inviting. It takes everything in Rosinante not to dip down and kiss you senseless.
He could…but then he wouldn’t be able to see the lovely expressions you make as he continues to work you with his slender fingers. The pinch of your brows, the way your lips part when you let out a sultry sound that strokes the flames of his desire.
Rosinante wants to kiss you, but he thumbs your clit instead, earning another sweet moan that makes his dick strain painfully against his slacks.
“I-I’m gonna come—” you whine as you buck your hips, making his deft fingers plunge deeper into your needy cunt, and oh god he feels it again, the way your walls hug whatever they can get a hold of just before you tip over the edge.
Rosinante has already coaxed one orgasm out of you tonight, but he wants another—wants to watch your pretty eyes roll in the back of your head and that brilliant mind of yours go dumb with pleasure. There isn’t a prettier sight in the world, and it’s enough to get him off, watching you come undone.
“Come baby, please fucking come…” he rasps, his voice almost unrecognizable to himself.
Rosinante quickens his pace, fucking you with his fingers while your walls clench around them, trying to keep his long digits where you need him most. His thumb rubs torturous circles against your swollen clit—faster and faster while sweet supplication spills from his lips.
This is worship after all, isn’t it?
The wrecked whimper you let out is like music to his ears, and Rosinante fucking groans when he feels you coat his fingers with your sweet release. He watches as if caught in a spell at the way you shake through your second orgasm. The sight alone makes Rosinante’s resolve shatter. He leans down, slanting his lips over yours, swallowing those pretty cries as you shake through the pleasure that washes through you.
Rosinante wastes time he doesn’t have kissing you, tasting the inside of your mouth and stealing the air from your lungs. Doflamingo will wonder where his little brother has run off to, but Rosinante can’t will himself to part from you. Not when you’re a lovely, boneless wreck below him.
Not when he still wants more.
Rosinante reluctantly withdraws his fingers from your slippery hole just as he pulls away from your lips with a sigh. He blinks, his heavy gaze finding yours once again. You look a little dazed, like you're still coming down from your high. Rosinante can’t help the way his lips curve into a soft smile, or the way he whispers soft praise against your skin with each tender kiss.
“One more…just one more sweetheart,” he murmurs, slowly trailing his lips down your body. The taste of salt and something sweet linger on his tongue, making him tremble with anticipation as he steadily reaches his destination.
Rosinante makes an appreciative noise at the sight of the mess he’s made of your pretty pussy—the slow drip of your slick like honey, the way it smears your thighs and stains your sheets. He can practically feel his mouth watering, his mind going dizzy with lust.
Rosinante doesn’t realize he’s leaning in until he feels your trembling fingers thread through his hair, gently yanking at his blond curls. He stills, before glancing up at you with an inquisitive look.
“What…about you?” your question is a tired mumble, barely audible.
Oh, you’re so sweet, even when you’re worked to your limit, hardly tethered to the waking world. It makes the warmth in Rosinante’s chest spread like a wildfire.
His eyes never leave yours, not even as he slowly lowers back down to your needy cunt.
“This is for me.”
You let out a broken cry the moment his tongue slips between your folds. Rosinante knows it’s too much, that you’re still reeling from your last release, but he’s too far gone—craves you like a drowning man craves air.
This is the greed you inspire in him—this unshakable desire to take everything he wants. It would terrify him if you weren’t so eager and willing.
Rosinante laps at your sweetness like a man starved. He fucks his tongue into you, licking away the evidence of your last release to prepare for the one you’ll soon give him. He knows it won’t be long now. You’re already a sobbing mess, so needy and sensitive.
“Ohgod—Rosi I can’t—” your words die out, replaced by a pathetic moan.
“You can…” Rosinante gasps, reluctantly pulling away from your pussy to give you a moment of relief. “Sweet girl, I know you can.”
And he knows just how to prove it.
Rosinante leans back down, fixing your sopping pussy with an appraising glance before he wraps his mouth around your sensitive clit. He lets his talented tongue glide over the nub, teasing it until your nails dig painfully into his scalp.
You’re close, so so close. Rosinante knows you’re teetering over the edge, nearly on the brink of ecstasy. The idea alone makes his dick twitch in his trousers, ready to burst along with you.
Rosinante grinds against the bed, chasing a sliver of friction against his throbbing cock. He’s right there with you, hanging on by a thread.
Let go, he hears a voice in his head whisper.
Let go. Let go. Let go.
Rosinante sucks on your clit hard and you’re gone, thrashing and bucking your hips—chasing your release with his mouth as a jumbled mix of his name and a curse spill from your lips.
Rosinante chases his own release, grinding his clothed cock against the mattress until he’s spilling into his slacks with a broken sob. You both gasp and quiver, feeling the delicious traces of your climax as you slowly settle from your high.
Rosinante sighs contentedly, gently nuzzling your thigh. It would be so easy for him to just stay here with you, to make a home in your too-small bed and leave his brother and his mission behind. It would be nice, not having to live in fear of Doffy uncovering the truth behind his sudden return—to think there’s a life left for him at the end of all this, even if Rosinante can’t picture it.
He wants that. God, he wants it so bad it hurts. Rosinante allows himself to dream, lets his mind conjure possibilities and perfect endings…but he still lifts from your mattress, cleans away the evidence of your shared desire, and begrudgingly staggers out of your tavern.
The taste of you lingers on his tongue, and Rosinante finds solace in it as he slowly trudges through town.
Maybe one day this will all be over and he’ll get to stay by your side.
It’s a pretty thought, even if it is only a dream.

Hello! Firsr of all, I LOVE your Alive Corazon Au (it's my daily morning addiction)
Second, while I was REREADING all your comics, I was wondering after Corazon was shot, how did he survive? How did it go with the governmenr? Like how did the governement (Sengoku espcialy) react when Corazon wanted to be a pirate and not continu as a governement?
We saw the reunion with Law but what happened before?
Sorry for the thousand questions.
Have a nice day!
THANK YOU FOR READING THEM!! ❤️
So I am no doctor, I have no medical knowledge whatsoever BUT let's just say Corazon didn’t die when we thought he did, simply passed out because of blood loss which is how the Calm spell breaks on Law.
Let's say the snow slowed down Corazons blood flow enough that he didn't die as quickly as he should have.
When the report of finding a Donquixote executive found dead on the transponder snail to Sengoku, turns out his pulse was just so damn slow they didn't realise he was clinging to life. And ya know, thank god they had Sengoku on the snail when they realised he was breathing, because now Sengoku can tell them to save him, that he is, in fact, an undercover marine.
I imagine Corazon was in a coma for lonnnng time. His body went through hell that night, probably a case of hypothermia and other things, too. It took him a long time to wake up and an even longer time to recover.
His actions caught up to him as well. He went against orders and stole the devil fruit they were trying to get after all. Sengoku is able to sway the punishment a bit, but Corazon is pretty much not allowed to leave HQ for a long time and not without a supervisor of some kind. Plus, they don't know what will happen if Doflamingo finds out if Corazon didn't die.
He was out of action for so long that he had no hope of locating Law or even knowing if Law was alive.
He talks to Sengoku over the years. About Law, about those six months, the promises he made with Law.
Then Laws wanted poster is released. That's a whole new bunch of emotions for Corazon.
I actually started drawing a scene after the reunion when they're all escaping Dressrosa. But I was making it TOO BIG and stopped hahah. It had Sengoku and Corazon saying their own kind of goodbye. Maybe I'll try and get back to it!

Alternative, healthier Crocomom/dad/parent theory to juxtapose the previous one I posted.
Luffy was still a Cryptic pregnancy, because if he and Dragon had known, they would have very likely aborted so as not to bring a child into a world that would be irrationally dangerous for them (See: Ace and Robin being hunted like dogs by the WG for the "sin" of their heritage). But Dragon and Croc would have embraced this surprise baby boy with open arms and open hearts.
But they still would have to give their baby up. They both knew this. To make sure their son has the very best bet of survival in this world, he would need to have as few ties to his parents as humanly possible.
They couldn't even bear to name the boy, knowing they would have to let him go.
It... tore them both up. It ended up with the two men growing distant, and eventually having their relationship fizzle out. They still loved each other, yes, but the magic just wasn't there anymore. It all went away with their baby boy.
Cut to Alabasta.
Crocodile is fully transitioned by this point, thanks to Iva. He's a Warlord now, he's feeding the Revolutionaries a steady influx of information on World Government activities, but he's seeking out Pluton on the down-low to wipe the WG off the face of the earth.
He is, unfortunately, not as merciful or patient a man as Dragon. He wants shit done and he wants it done as fast as possible, consequences be damned.
This attitude also contributed significantly to the distancing between himself and Dragon.
And now Luffy arrives and starts to put a wrench in his plans.
Crocodile doesn't recognize him. Not his face, as he'd all but blocked it from his memory. Not his name, as they chose not to name him.
As for the surname? Well, he and Dragon had an unspoken thing between them. Neither of them knew the other's full name so that information wouldn't get out if either were captured and interrogated.
Crocodile didn't know Luffy was their son until Sengoku dropped that particular hazardous info bomb in Marineford.
So, he did as any crocodilian parent would do when their hatchling is in distress and wrecked house.
His goal? Draw as much attention to himself as possible. Instigate total chaos.
Stopping Ace's execution and jumping in the middle of the crowd to announce how petty you're feeling? Attacking Whitebeard with reckless abandon in broad daylight in front of his crew?
Bet.
He wanted all eyes on him at Marineford so none of them would be on Luffy, which worked on just about everyone but a volcanic freight train named Sakazuki.
The horror of realizing he had stabbed, mummified, and poisoned his own son back during the Alabasta coup only hits him later when the dust has settled.
And man does it hit him hard.

Since I did what Doflamingo does/says in I'll build castles for you, my love (look at me, not my brother) (Rosinante x Reader x Doflamingo WIP) I bring the aforementioned brother from the title and a snippet (which is before he dies but I wrote it and nearly cried, so I thought it was worth a share) with him:
Some NSFW mentions in the bulletpoints but nothing descriptive:
Gets into a first bath in a month with Law and bathes him, trips on the floor getting out the bath
trips and falls in his own house in a hurry to get the medicine for Law's fever
most softest 10 foot lover in the One Piece World but he absolutely can rock your world
always careful with his big hands
never holds himself to intimidate while home
has fun coloured sweaters and fun shirts
your favourite outfit of his is his blue dress shirt and white pants, he looks so FINE in that 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 also his marine uniform without the coat 🫠
watches you fuss over Law and cries
he kneels down to hug you, and always loves getting his hair ruffled by you
peppers you with kisses when he comes home
removes make-up and makes Law scream thinking he's Doflamingo
"Did you think my actual name was Donquixote Corazon? Cutee~"
when asked by Law who you are, Rosinante blushes, smiles goofily and chuckles, saying "She's... my wife."
insulted by Law saying to you, "You deserve better."
dances with you in the kitchen
finishes his jobs for Doflamingo early so he can spend the rest of the days he is supposed to be away with you, which means this man sails to you as much as he can
spent two weeks with you and got you pregnant in that timeframe
always bring a bouquet and chocolates and souvenirs from islands he visited when he comes home to you
puts you in a Silent bubble so you can scream your anger/frustration away
his Silent is literally your therapy and when you tell him his Devil Fruit is your favourite Devil Fruit, he grins so bright, the sun wishes it could shine like that
you meet him when he crashes into you
How many guys can say their clumsiness got them a wife? Not many. Exactly, Rosinante is built different.
cries every time you make him pancakes for breakfast
actually a solid cook, but he needs to be watched, always have water nearby
You call him Rosi or Rosinante
He blushes when you call him Corazón or Cora-san. Once roleplayed as his "pirate" persona, and he managed for five minutes before breaking character and you laughed for a good ten minutes
you can get as loud as you want in the bedroom within his Silent bubble 😉
you love his red hat
he can bake cookies and they're sent from heaven
has his own marine squad since he's a Commander and his crew is awesome (original characters but I like them, you'll see)
kills a Celestial Dragon that tries to kidnap you and makes it look like an assassination by pirates - Sengoku is on board with it
humble and sweet wedding day, Rosinante cried the whole time
loves cuddles & loves your cooking
cried of joy when getting a lunch box for his journey with Law from you
takes the secret he has a wife to his grave, never mentioned you to Doflamingo, never let Doflamingo find out about you (considering the chapters with Doflamingo that come, very clear why)
died not knowing you were pregnant, as even you didn't know it at the time (I'm so sorry 😭)
And here is the snippet:
Your face flashed in his mind.
Sorry, mi amor. thought Rosinante.
The red lenses that have by now become his brother’s eyes stared down at Rosinante coldly, red stained glass reflecting the falling snowflakes.
Guess I’m not coming back home this time.
Rosinante was going to make sure Law gets away. He could get himself to Eudai by paying a fisherman to get him there. He’d be safe there, and with any luck, he could then decide what he wanted to do with his life. He knew you wouldn’t ask Law to stay with you if Law didn’t want to. You were good at reading the kid like that.
Law was a smart cookie. He’d probably activate his Devil Fruit powers in an hour from now on and heal himself within a minute. Rosinante knew it. He believed in it.
Rosinante isn’t worried about anything, he isn’t afraid. He is grateful. He is so grateful to be here, in this moment, on the side he considers right.
Not on the marines’ side. Not on the pirates’ side.
On Law’s side. He was Law’s Corazón now, not Doflamingo’s.
You said such to him yourself. Law saw Rosinante as his guide, Law trusted him, had faith in him, just like you did. Law had become a part of Rosinante’s family, your small family Rosinante was the patriarch of, the protector of. Rosinante wasn’t fighting for the marines now, or for the pirates. He was fighting for a sick little boy because nobody else would, nobody else wanted to, nobody else thought to, except him and you.
You had guided him and supported him to become the man he is today, catching him by the hand before he could trip and fall the same way his brother did.
He remembered the first time you tried to teach him how to dance with him, and he ended up stepping on both your feet.
“I’m so sorry! Please give me another chance.”
You told him, “Just enjoy the dance.” before pulling him into your first dance together, and he did as you asked, letting his legs follow the beat and the song, and it turned out okay. He never stepped on your feet again.
Six months later, he was dancing with you every day in the living room of the house the two of you called home, pulling you into a dance on the field of blue forget-me-nots, your sweet, soft laughter caressing his ears.
Because of you, Rosinante knew he’d never lose his way. Because if he did, you’d set him straight, grip his hand so he doesn’t fall apart.
You were the flag Rosinante carried in his heart.
He felt so lucky to have you. He was the clumsiest, luckiest man on the planet. He never thought his clumsiness would bring him to you.
Rosinante was happy. Donquixote Rosinante was the happiest man on earth. He didn’t need any treasure, or an army, or a country, or immortality, or the world. None of those things could ever make him happy as living with you and Law did.
And Rosinante realised it then; it was that Doflamingo lacked. He had a family, but he also didn’t. For a moment, Rosinante pitied his brother, even though his brother had done it to himself. To live without experiencing pure happiness, genuine happiness, without hurting anyone to attain it…
It must hurt, Doffy. thought Rosinante sadly. You must be lonely.
Rosinante looks at his older brother, and for the last time, there is a pang of pain in his heart at the sight of what his older brother has become.
Rosinante pulled out the pistol, aiming it at his big brother — at Doffy, at Doffy — pulling back the safety pin, knowing very well he wouldn’t press the trigger, and knowing very well his brother would.
Rosinante really wished he’d gotten to dance with you one more time.
***
Word Count Report:
Currently, Rosinante's part (Part 1) is 8.4k words, Doflamingo's Part 2 is 13k words so that one might get separated into 2 parts to keep it a normal word count. Part 3 (also Doflamingo) is the shortest at 4k words but there is a lot left to write and plan for that part.

Which op yan do you think would be the most annoying texter in a modern au?? I think sanji would drive me insane, I know he'd be texting nonstop. I also think buggy would ask his romantic interest if they'd still love him as a worm. Many times.
Sanji would be so excessive. You have to put your phone on do not disturb just to have a moment's peace. It literally never ends.
Sanji: Good morning, my love! It's another beautiful day of being able to call you mine 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
*pic attached*
Sanji: Here's the breakfast I'm making you! I'll bring it over as soon as it's done 😋😘
-
*sends a pic of any two things next to each other*
Sanji: This is literally us 🥺
-
Sanji: I just wanted to say again how much I love you💞❤️🩷💕💞💓🩷💕💞 (he says this even though he saw you in person three minutes ago and said the exact same thing then)
-
Sanji: Where did you go???? Are you mad at me??????? Have you been kidnapped?????????
Sanji: Oh wait never mind I see you now
Sanji: I'm calling your name why are you running the other way?
Buggy is someone who needs constant reassurance, and he uses having your phone number as a means to constantly get that from you. But like he's also very dramatic about it.
Buggy: do u hate me now? say it to my face at least
You: literally what are you talking about?
Buggy: I asked you a question and you ignored me!
You: I was gone for like 2 minutes????
Buggy: AND???? Why were you gone???
You: I was ordering some food for us but nvm I'm gonna go home and eat it all myself 😒
Buggy: ...
Buggy: I'm sorry please don't hate me for real now 🥺🥺🥺 I love you so much baby please don't leave me 😭😭😭
Zoro is on the opposite end of the spectrum because he doesn't text excessively, but you are lucky to get more than a one word response out of him. You could send him a several paragraph long text spilling your guts to him and all you'll get from him is a "k" or "alright" or "👍". If you send more than two texts in a row, he'll tell you to just call him if you're going to yap that much.
Luffy doesn't text, he sends voice memos. Not only does he send an absurd amount of them, but they're also all stupidly long because he gets distracted and rambles to his heart's content. What was supposed to be a simple voice memo asking if his jacket is at your place comes to you with a 31:46 time on it because he saw a cool looking beetle outside and just had to tell you about it in the memo. Half the time he forgets that he isn't actually on the phone with you and will ask a question several times before he remembers.
Doflamingo sends a lot of texts, but all of them are voice to text and are almost entirely unintelligible. The voice to text function wasn't designed to interpret his weird inflections and maniacal laughter. He also has a tendency to talk to other people in the middle of sending a text to you, so you have a whole ass random conversation smack in the middle of the text. He then has the audacity to have an attitude with you when you didn't catch the important thing he told you.
With Ace, you're going to feel like you're communicating via hieroglyphics because of how many of his messages to you are just memes/reaction images. He won't elaborate and lets you figure out what they mean. Did he just find that meme funny, or is there a hidden message in it? Who knows.
And then you have all of the old men (Sengoku, Garp, Whitebeard, etc) who can't text for shit and will send a series of unintelligible and confused texts before sending a very defeated "please call me"
#yandere one piece#one piece x reader#sanji#black leg sanji#buggy the clown#roronoa zoro#monkey d luffy#donquixote doflamingo#portgas d ace#monkey d garp#sengoku the buddha#whitebeard one piece#one piece x y/n#one piece x you#I'm not much of a texter so these probably aren't good lmao#these aren't all that yandere coded oops

Chapter 1. Kintsugi
A honeyed beam of light basked the long-spanning fields in a warm glow as the sun slowly set, gradually painting the skies into a darkening night. You stubbornly sat in front of your family home as the day grew to a close though, determined to see your responsibilities through.
At a glance, you supposed that the village in which you resided was just about peaceful enough, though, it was also unfortunate. Just like the many settlements that spanned the coast, it wasn’t without the swarming plagues that passed by, nor the earthquakes that shattered everything, crumbling what once was.
It was delicate—just like everything else.
Just like the all of those things you sought to fix.
Cracked pottery to be exact. The method was still new, especially around these parts, but you couldn’t keep your curious hands away—much to the annoyance of those asleep just inside. A couple of candles were lit to guide your way in addition to the moon that gradually climbed through the sky, lacing you with a cold, pale glow. Gold or silver mixed with lacquer, carefully painted in between the cracks of broken pottery—this was how you made your keep—something once broken, sold off to those higher born.
Just as you were finishing up, however, a deep voice interrupted your focus, causing you tut at the intrusion.
“Such a strange creature,” it pointed out, the low and masculine voice observed. You already knew who it was though, so you didn’t look up. Given the time of the day and the sudden appearance, it was likely the two-faced devil who had once spared you, here to bother you once more.
Ryomen Sukuna indeed stood around the corner of your home, lazily leaning his shoulder against the wall. He looked down at you with a faint curiosity, quietly watching you work on something he had long deemed pointless. This wasn’t the first interaction you had with him, though. After that night, the one in which he spared you, he started visiting you more often. Creeping along like a silent shadow—unassuming and in the background, but during more recent times, he had grown bolder—demanding his presence be acknowledged.
His reputation never once betrayed him, too, he was imposing, tall, bull-like, and terrifying, but you learned not to flinch because, for some reason, he wouldn’t even touch you.
“You said that the last time already,” you murmured with a steady tone, smoothing out the lacquer of the broken pot, letting it dry with your guided touch, “does what I do bother you that much?”
Sukuna scoffed, folding his arms as he regarded you with slight disdain, though, it wasn’t exactly hatred. No, he didn’t dislike you, that’s why he stuck around, clinging to your presence out of maybe… sheer curiosity. A strange creature that confused him greatly, making him feel things that he didn’t want to understand. “It’s just pointless, isn’t it?” he remarked as his eyes narrowed at the settling craft, “you’re saving something broken, only for it to shatter one day all the same.”
“Perhaps,” you acknowledged his sentiment, finally letting go of the pot, “but it’s sometimes interesting to see just where fixed things, that were once broken, will go, wouldn’t you say so?”
His composure momentarily stiffened, briefly reminded of how the two of you came to be. Sukuna wasn’t one for self-control, after all, a being driven by impulse and hedonistic will. One such village that you happened to be visiting on a supply run—got completely wiped out overnight with blood-soaked soil pooling on the streets. Not a single soul was spared, neither low born nor high born, except for you.
You remembered it so clearly; crossing the gaze of the man whose gaze was burning as deep a shade of crimson as the stained wooden paneling of the many massacred homes. You froze at the sight, meaning to turn away, but he caught up to you within a matter of a few, rumbling, quaking strides. From that moment on, he left you alive to spread the legend, though it was never a mercy to begin with.
(Perhaps a warning, then?)
(And yet, as the years passed you both by, the village you returned to remained standing and he had only settled nearby, never once painting your settlement the same bloodied shade.)
Sukuna thawed his guarded reflexive response into something smoother, almost betraying amusement in his expression. He then crouched right beside you so that he was nearly level with your eyes, taking a moment to lock into your stare. He schooled his features into something sharper, hiding the mockery that he disguised as care, hoping to tease you with his next parting words, “Perhaps, but the world isn’t so kind to the things that are destined to be weak. You shouldn’t prolong something that is doomed to be devoured.”
However, you took the statement seriously, throwing him off guard a little once more with a response that was undeniably… human.
“Even so, why not prolong a good thing?”
He half scoffed and for a long, good while, he simply said nothing, just fixing you a heavy, intense stare. His eyes lingered over yours, boring into your very soul before standing up at last, before taking a deep breath and turning away, leaving you alone with the now empty black sky with the moon hidden behind the clouds, with the candlelight put out from the passing breeze.
~~~
Sukuna visited you sooner that time than the last, unable to leave you fully alone. There was a pull from him that led towards you, no matter how much he tried to distance himself, always finding himself within your company again. This quickly would become the norm; with him looming in the background, slowly easing into the cracks of your life, watching on from the shadows as you went about living, only at seldom times interacting with you, if at all.
At best, he was an afterthought, a fleeting face that watched you from the sidelines.
Sometimes though, he would ask you questions about things that he couldn’t understand. Such as when you ground up medicine in a mortar and pestle to aid your parents, who had both fallen sick, bedridden, and decaying within the confines of the family home.
“Do you ever grow tired of this?”
You glanced up, not stopping what you were doing as you sat cross-legged on the ground just outside, gradually grinding down ingredients to form a fine paste. You considered the question, not seeing it to be a problem to help those close to you; it was the right thing to do, after all. Still, you supposed that for someone like Sukuna, he simply couldn’t see it that way, so you were more honest than how you would have been with somebody ordinary. “Sometimes,” you admitted with a weak smile, “but that’s just living, isn’t it? The young take care of the old, and that’s just how the cycle goes.”
“The cycle…” he murmured, imagining you for a moment being frail and old, with someone taking care of you. For the sake of his own selfishness, he would never let that occur, never let anyone get close to you, let alone make you a mother. To him, the cycle was oppressive and as such, he didn’t reply, instead watching you work in silence while his eyes brewed with a look you couldn’t quite get a read on.
From that moment on, his presence became more familiar, consistent too, and slowly, you started to grow all the less annoyed at him so as long as he didn’t bother you. It was a peculiar arrangement, if you were being quite honest, and his fixation with being at your side was something you never understood. For someone who thrived on violence and chaos to be tethered at the hip to someone who craved the mundane was an odd match in your eyes—but it worked.
Slowly, he also began to (albeit begrudgingly) help you, too, though he would never admit it directly. It was subtle things, like clearing the fallen branches from the decay that winter brought off your land and making sure that any whispers of bandits afoot would remain as mere rumours, never once letting them reach you. Things like keeping your stocks well supplied, or throwing a blanket over you when you fell asleep from sheer exhaustion, slowly learning the ways of what it meant to care, to burden yourself in the name of closeness.
And as time went on, the seasons passed and Sukuna’s calmness caused the village to thrive, entering a golden era, so as long as you were around. Still as cruel as ever, though, arrogant too, but he reigned himself in for your sake.
Or so you thought.
One night in particular, just as you were finishing up preparing your stock for the long week up ahead, Sukuna brought up a point, not as a threat, but as a reminder.
“I could tear this whole world apart,” he murmured, watching you stack repaired broken bowls adorned with your craft, “so easily, too.”
“I’m aware,” you replied as you concealed the pottery with a tattered cloth, just in case the wind would blow it all away overnight.
“I could destroy you, too,” he added, his voice low.
You hummed as you pushed open the door to your now-empty home. “I know.”
Sukuna paused, for once choosing to break his unspoken promise to leave you untouched, extending his calloused fingers to prop just below your chin, forcing you to meet his gaze. How delicate were your features when looking back into the eyes of a monster, who in this pale light, looked more human than he could have ever been.
He scoffed. “And yet you stay.”
“And yet I stay,” you acknowledged.
From that point on, the months that once passed you both turned into years that spanned into decades. Sukuna, personally, never once aged a wrinkle nor a fine line with his features still honed into a marble smooth finish—but you did. The years had aged your face, decorating you with the evidence that you experienced a life well lived, free from the chaos he threatened to cause despite seeing it firsthand. It was funny in a bittersweet way with how these things worked, but you never once questioned it too much, enjoying this quiet sort of intimacy. You worked on your craft for years, slowly growing older, weaker, and frailer.
The world continued all the same though, with the once rolling fields overshadowed by cyclic caramelising beams of honey that painted it golden, though blurred in your waning vision. By the time you reached eighty, your sight was almost completely gone and yet, you still worked, driven by memory, and your innate will to tinker until you simply couldn’t.
Sukuna in turn, never once grew bored of watching you work, always having something to say that contradicted who he truly was. A lifetime of peace was what he quietly promised you, something that otherwise made him internally recoil, and yet, here he was, having made such a decision that he intended to see through until the very end of you.
“I never thought I could live a life like this,” he admitted, watching your weary fingers work away.
You huffed at him, waving a hand in the wrong direction. Your hearing was going too. You had developed somewhat of an attitude through the years, after all, since he never once touched you—hurt you—leaving you to quietly exist within his company for as long as possible, all because he was once curious.
“You chose this though, didn’t you?” you rasped out.
He took a moment to process your breathless tone, knitting his brows at just how feeble you sounded. “Not exactly,” he replied quietly, “I chose you.”
You didn’t reply to him, gulping a deep breath down, choosing to focus on continuing to mend the plate instead. A part of you never fought against the attention he paid you way back then out of both self-preservation for yourself, but also to your village. Letting him linger by your side ensured its survival, so you grew used to him, finding that by the end of it all, you actually enjoyed your time.
Although, time was finite, and it was growing to a close. You could feel it. Your body, once full of vigour felt drained, and you were certain that with the exhaustion that beckoned you from your core would be the last time you lay down; it would be the last time you closed your eyes and then, you would simply fade away.
Such a prediction wasn’t incorrect either as you quickly slipped away, leaving Sukuna just standing there, stilling at the moment as soon as it all connected. He clenched his jaw as he processed the grief, tightly swallowing what it meant for something to truly be gone, his fingers twitching as the rush of decades of pent-up impulses came surging forward.
An era of peace dissolved from the moment you took your last breath, finalised with the skies bleeding crimson, with the streets filling with blood, just like the very first time you saw him.
The village that you once loved, wounded, left to bleed out, left as nothing more than a scar in his memory of what once was.
~~~
The decades slipped by like wistful dreams too, somehow so muddied yet distinctively vibrant, emphasised by the blood that he spilled again and again. Fields of green grew straw-yellow, later barren and dried up. The people saw devastating catastrophes too; one after another, victims to a man close to a god, set out to destroy a world that mocked him with fleeting mortality.
And when it was finally for his time to go—when he set up that deal with the body hopper—he arranged to seal the deal for you too, just to make things interesting again. Call it being selfish, he didn’t care. Hedonistic indeed. The order of things couldn’t have been the only right way in the world and no matter what, he would bring you back, if even just to say goodbye, having missed the chance before.
Kenjaku did warn him though, that with a soul long dead, your memories would likely be gone since a withering soul was a weakened soul. Sukuna persisted though, not caring about the cost he had to pay to see it through.
After all, he would make you his again, no matter what he had to do.

A cute little ‘What-If’ scenario with Eri, what if Eri met Garp instead of Luffy? (Just to take a little break before Wano because there is a LOT happening in Wano)
Garp found Eri kidnapped and tortured by a Pirate Crew/Corrupted High Ranked Marine who’s been using Eri for their selfish purposes (He beats them to a bloody pulp for harming a child)
Garp doesn’t know nor does he care why they took Eri because he immediately takes her under his wing as her Grandpa! (Instant Adoption, and the only time Garp is 1st Grandpa!)
When Garp finds out about Eri’s power he tells her she doesn’t ever need to worry anymore as he’ll always be there to take care of her from now on so she doesn’t need to use her power unless she wants too and he’ll protect her so no one can ever force her to use her powers against her will (He’ll keep her little secret to himself, after all he made a Pinkie Promise *He’s sobbing obnoxiously over how cute and sweet she is unlike his ingrate grandsons who are ‘very mean’ to his feelings!*)
Sengoku is Eri’s other Grandfather, because he knows Garp doesn’t actually know how to properly raise a child (They Co-Parent, or rather Co-Grandparent) and he will admit Eri helps him unwind and reminds him that there’s still good in this world (He even gifted her a few coloring books and crayons)
Garp encourages Eri to eat as much as she wants but always obnoxiously sobs because she always shares her food with him since it’s all so yummy! (Eri won all the Marines hearts)
Eri likes Tsuru, Smoker, Tashigi, Coby, Fujitora, Kuzan and Hina, she’s shy around the other Marines, Borsalino and Akainu
I can definitely picture Garp telling Eri that Akainu and Ryokugyo are the ‘Dark Side’ of the Marines (Resulting in Eri calling them a ‘Bad Guy’ resulting in emotional damage for these two with Garp, Kuzan and Fujitora in the background, laughing their asses off)
Fujitora is another one of Eri’s favorites and worries about him since he’s blind (He smiles that finds it very sweet but tells her he’s alright as he promises he won’t get hurt)
Eri wears cute Sailor Dresses and lives with her Grandpa Garp whenever he goes
-Garp was seething in rage, holding the fragile bundle close to his chest as he was radiating heat from how furious he was. He glanced down, his eyes softening as he saw two large eyes peering up at him, safely wrapped up in his cloak.
-He had attacked a pirate ship, taking all of them into custody, to make Sengoku happy as he had been a little cranky as of late, but when he heard the crying of a child, he was stunned to see you there, trapped in a tiny cage, scars covering almost every inch of you.
-He didn’t know what made you so special to these pirates, but you must have been as there was a lot of research notes around about a unique, natural ability you had. From what he was able to gather it was a healing ability, but not exactly.
-Your little hand was holding onto his suit, peeking out from the cloak as he was taking you to the infirmary, and not letting anyone stop him as he kept walking.
-Sengoku had heard the commotion when Garp’s ship had arrived, as he shouted at others to come and get the pirates while he seemed to be holding something. When he saw Garp he was quick to catch up to him, calling out to him, but Garp didn’t stop, “Not stopping- catch up if you need me.”
-Sengoku was surprised to see Garp so serious for once and it made him curious as to what he was holding as they made it to the infirmary.
-Garp grabbed one of the doctors he knew would keep his mouth shut and went to a private bed, pulling the curtain around the three men before he lowered his cape from around you, revealing you to them.
-Instantly the doctor panicked, reaching for you but you curled in on yourself, pressing closer to Garp who took a seat on the bed, “This nice doctor is going to help you, Y/N.”
-You looked up at him, you trusted him, as he rescued you from these bad men after you woke up in this strange world, away from Overhaul. However, after they saw you using your ability to heal a wound you had gotten, they were quick to start researching as well, treating you just like how Overhaul did, wanting to know about your ability.
-Garp explained what he could about your ability as the doctor was very gentle, looking at your scars, seeing that they were deliberately done, as he called for a nurse to get some food, seeing that you were very malnourished as well.
-Sengoku was sitting on a chair in front of you, letting you hold onto one of his fingers, as he was trying not to scare you as they listened about your ability, the ability to rewind time, more specifically, rewind wounds.
-The doctor was very patient with you, showing you each thing, “I’m looking in your eyes with this. This is to check what your heart rate is.” And many other things like that.
-You didn’t feel as scared as he was telling you each thing he was doing or showing you on Sengoku or Garp what he was going to do to you.
-When the food arrived, you were surprised to see the mound of food, as the nurse thought it was for Garp, who always ate big meals. Your eyes were huge as the doctor was looking over what notes Garp managed to collect, while Garp was helping you eat, holding the tray for you.
-You stuffed an apple slice into your mouth and your eyes were bright and sparkly, “It’s yummy!” they had to wonder what kind of life you were living until right then, if you thought just an apple slice was yummy.
-You held up another to Garp, “Here grandpa!” Garp did not take the apple, he set the tray down then passed you to Sengoku before quickly collapsing, holding on his chest as he cried obnoxiously on how sweet you were.
-Sengoku seemed exasperated with Garp’s antics as he held you, looking down at you, “Did he tell you to call him that, Y/N?” you nodded softly, “When he wrapped me up in his fancy cape, he said he was going to be my grandpa, and nobody was going to hurt me again!”
-Sengoku was the next to have heart related issues due to your cuteness as you were so precious and he agreed to allow Garp to adopt you, because from what the doctor found out, after confirming with you that you have bad fevers after using your ability too much, that you would be the safest with them.
-That’s how Garp and Sengoku adopted you, keeping you protected while they co-parented you. You became a staple in Sengoku’s office, either coloring or sitting on his lap, wearing an adorable long sleeve dress with leggings and a matching marine hat.
-Kuzan adored you, as he would always ‘kidnap’ you, stealing you away and taking you to get ice cream or cotton candy or to take naps with you. Sengoku found it exasperating, as he wasn’t doing his work, while Garp was chasing him, demanding that you be returned to him.
-You were a little shy with Kizaru and Sakazuki, usually hiding behind Garp’s leg or Sengoku’s leg, peeking out at them. Kizaru always tried to give you candy, wanting to win you over, but Sakazuki was almost shy with you, as he was afraid of scaring you.
-Fujitora was your next ‘grandpa’ after you met him, seeing his scars and when you learned he was blind, he felt your tiny hands on his cheeks, “They don’t hurt, do they?” hearing that you were about to cry, he just smiled, cupping your hands gently, “They don’t hurt Y/N. I’m okay, I pinkie promise.”
-He had to explain what a pinkie promise was to you, and when you sounded so excited, you were quickly crying as had to be admitted to the infirmary for heart related issues right after.
-Garp and Sengoku kept your abilities under wraps, telling you not to use them at all, which you did like as your ability always took a lot out of you. Only those two and the doctor knew, so everyone else just thought that you were rescued from pirates who had been torturing you for fun, and not for your ability.
-You liked not using your ability, you felt like a normal kid, running around, and playing with other children of marine officers. It felt so nice having friends.
-Garp liked seeing you happy, but he didn’t like seeing boys around you, thinking they were going to steal you away and he would always shout and get scary, with glowing red eyes, telling the boys to get away from you.
-Garp told you all about Luffy, your big brother, since you were adopted, that makes Luffy your big brother, but he didn’t want you to be a knucklehead like him, he wanted you to stay with him and be a good girl.
-You just beamed up at him with a huge smile, “I want to stay with grandpa forever! I love you grandpa!”
-Sengoku had to watch you for the rest of the day, with you helping him stamp his paperwork, as Garp was in the infirmary, still ugly crying on how precious you were while getting yelled at by the doctors for being disruptive.
-You’re so happy that Garp found you!

It was awkward. In the end, both you and Rosi had been right. It was a bad idea to have a family dinner (you) and simultaneously a good one (Rosi). Bad because dinner was meant for getting to know everyone, not glaring holes into each other’s heads—in the case of Sengoku.
If Sengoku wasn’t careful, you were sure he was going to bend your fork. You eyed him sitting at one end of the table, wondering if you should remove the fork now or let him suffer through it later when eating.
Law sat there with his arms across his chest, his face carefully shuttered. You knew him better. The boy was clearly a mix of ecstatic, horrified, and can’t wait til this horror show ends.
On the other side of the table, Baby 5 was happy, fawning under some compliment Shakky had offered her, an amused look on her face. It did, in fact, make you happy to know that Shakky took a liking to the girl you had always talked about but never introduced. It was a good thing, perhaps, that Baby 5’s fiancé had not joined the dinner, though the invitation had been extended to him too. Considering that man was now allied with Strawhat Luffy, you doubt Sengoku would even be able to sit let alone eat at the same time.
And then there was Ray, whom you’d seated on the other end of the table, with the intention of putting him as far away from Sengoku as possible, casually drinking his beer and making small talk.
Small talk that only Rosi was responding to.
Oh yes, you hoped the worst this dinner could get would be a horror show and not the shitshow you had argued with Rosi about.
Well, it was so far a reasonable beginning to the family dinner. You and Rosi had been sure to state the same stipulations to everyone invited: 1) Everyone must behave in a family friendly manner; 2) No arguing; 3) No devil fruit powers and haki allowed.
“Rosinante, you didn’t tell me about the whole family,” Sengoku gritted. The fork bent. Asshole.
Rosi noticed. He flashed you a look, before reaching over to his father figure, and attempted to wriggle the partially bent fork from Sengoku’s vice-like grip. “Didn’t I? I was pretty sure I mentioned it.”
“You said, ‘come over, please, meet the most important people in my life’,” mimicked Sengoku. The fork twitched a centimetre in Sengoku’s grip. “You didn’t mention the former Empress of Amazon Lily, nor the Dark King.”
“Well, yes,” Rosi said with a light, nervous laugh. You’d heard that call. He’d deliberately glossed over who was coming. “I’m sure I mentioned it.”
“Come now, Sengoku, we’re all old friends here,” said Ray placatingly, though there was a sharp edge to the amusement in his tone.
Yes, Rosi hadn’t been the only one to gloss over who was coming to dinner. Even though you might have mentioned it once or twice in the past who Rosi’s ‘father’ was, you were pretty sure only Shakky had caught the implication, and that your words had slipped by Ray, so when you’d called about the dinner, only Shakky had any idea what kind of shitshow horror show she would be walking into.
“Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t capture you right now,” snarled Sengoku, thumping his fist on the dinner table.
“Sir—” Rosi began.
Sengoku interrupted his foster son, frustration clearly bleeding through everything he said, “We’re going to have a long talk about this Rosinante—”
“Oi, don’t talk to Cora-san like that,” said Law coolly, his fingers twitching.
Despite their touching first meeting, Law and Sengoku had been clear on where they stood with each other: they each loved and respected Rosi in their own way, but that sure as hell didn’t mean Law and Sengoku were best buddies, let alone foster grandfather and grandson. No, they would maintain their prior relationship of pirate and marine, but with more respect to Rosi.
“Be quiet, brat,” Sengoku shot Law’s way. Those two, you knew, had come to an accord after the events of Dressrosa and the downfall of Doflamingo. But it didn’t mean they’d become cuddle buddies either. They kept it nice and unfriendly.
“Cora-san doesn’t need to discuss his relations with you,” Law said flatly.
Rosi coughed. “I’m right here.”
Sengoku ignored him. “Just because I’ve settled with myself that my son is living in this lawless zone, he doesn’t need unsavoury people tainting his reputation further.”
“He’s not a child,” Baby 5 said. “He can do whatever he likes.”
“He’s my child,” Sengoku said stubbornly.
“Uh—” Rosi attempted to speak, his eyes shooting between Sengoku and Baby 5 and Law. To Law, he was grateful, to Baby 5 he seemed surprised, and to Sengoku, he was embarrassed. But it didn’t matter, because no one let him speak.
Your hand clenched around the glass you were clutching. Since when had you poured yourself a gin and tonic? You had no idea. Though Shakky tilted her gin and tonic your way in a subtle toast, the corner of her mouth tilting up in wry amusement.
“Unsavoury? Interesting choice of word you have there, Sengoku,” Ray said calmly. But the calmness of his words was a force to be reckoned with.
“Would you prefer ‘disreputable’, ‘villainous’, or ‘despicable’? I was aiming for family friendly.” Derision dripped from Sengoku’s retort. So he clearly remembered at least one of yours and Rosi’s stipulations.
“And what would that make you? Heroic? Indomitable? Gallant?” Though it sounded amused, it masked the same kind of derision as Sengoku’s.
“A marine, you pirate,” spat Sengoku. Somehow, that should have been synonymous with the words Ray dropped, but Sengoku made it sound as though they were two similarly different things.
Ray tsked. “You said ‘pirate’ like it’s a dirty slur. I take it as a compliment, thank you very much.”
Was it possible for Sengoku’s fork to bend more?
Baby 5 nervously looked between Ray and Sengoku. Shakky offered her a drink, much to Baby 5’s relief.
You, on the other hand, sipped your drink. “Maybe I should bring out the fish.”
Excusing yourself from the table, you escaped to the kitchen.
Not that it was much of an escape, since the cottage was only one room for the living, dining and kitchen. And though the oven wasn’t smoking nor on fire, the fish smelt cooked.
Carefully you lifted the tray from the oven. Since the oven was rather large, you’d been able to fit three extra large fishes in it, bones and all. Rosi had caught them yesterday and between you both, you’d decided it would make for a good dinner. What could go wrong with spiced fish?
But apparently turning your back on the family dinner wasn’t a bright idea.
The moment your back was turned, you felt the discharge of haki. Strong haki. The haki of kings. Conqueror’s haki. Static sparked up your back, sending the hairs on your arms standing.
Dear gods.
No.
Not in my house.
You weren’t the type to admit you were slow. If anything, your years with your father and the years after with the Donquixote Family had refined your skills to the best of your abilities and then some.
But in this instant, you were a second too slow to turn back.
By this point, Sengoku had jumped to his feet, in an offensive stance, his arms tense and poised to react. Ray sat in his chair calmly, his chin propped on his hist, and his eyes dark behind the glint of his round spectacles.
Conqueror’s haki crackled between them.
It might be invisible to the eye, but you felt the clash of wills with every fibre of your being.
And what a clash of wills it was. You’d never encountered the force of either Ray’s or Sengoku’s conqueror’s haki on its own. But you’d felt others. You’d felt the weight of Doflamingo’s, a bubble of force so suffocating that every encounter you had with it, felt as though you were underwater struggling for air, and only your determination to stay awake kept you from drowning. Shanks’ was fire hot, electricity so intense it set you afire. If you’d ever burned alive on a stake, that was what it felt like to encounter his conqueror’s haki. Wanting to breathe while burning alive at the same time.
Ray’s and Sengoku’s were both more intense than Doflamingo’s, and yet not half as intense as Shanks’.
It didn’t matter though.
There was no space in this room from the two egos currently clashing. It was just Ray and Sengoku, staring each other down.
Law was gagging in shock, bearing against the weight of the clash.
Baby 5 fared less well, quailing, though thankfully not yet foaming at the mouth.
Shakky did not look pleased. A rare expression from wife to husband.
And Rosi was just stunned. From the clash, rather than the conqueror’s itself. You doubted he’d even registered the conqueror’s haki in the face of the explosion rippling in front of his face.
You felt the dish in your hand slip your grip. The fishes that had taken a frustrating hour to cut and gut and prep smashed onto the floor.
And you might have been fine with the destruction of hard work, if it weren’t for the sounds you heard next.
Something creaked.
And cracked.
Your gaze tilted around you, looking for the source, even as your body felt as though it was caught in live wire electricity.
But it was the sound of splitting wood that spurred you into action.
In a single breath, you felt the home that Rosi had picked and fallen in love with explode. The walls buckled, as though a giant elephant had expanded in the centre of your home, squeezing out the walls and roof in the process.
The walls were the first to go.
Then the beams that held up part of the loft.
And then the roof.
Baby 5 squeaked, dropping under the table.
Shakky stepped out of the way of the collapsing pieces of the roof.
Law expanded his room, a wave of pale blue light circling around the dining table, no doubt to protect Rosi, but included the rest of the people in the room at the same. That may or may not have included you. It didn’t matter though, because Rosi was in front of you, shielding you from above from more falling wood and collapsing beams.
How thoughtful.
This was your home.
Your home with Rosi.
The home that was now falling apart around you. Exposing everyone to the humid weather outside. If only that was all.
Ray and Sengoku didn’t even notice.
You had had enough. No one but Rosi got to destroy this home by accident or on purpose!
Pushing Rosi aside, you withdrew the pistols you still carried on you even though this was supposed to be a nice, quiet family dinner, you aimed it at the two older men in the room.
“Wait—” Rosi called after you, but you ignored him.
You fired. The shots exploded from your pistols in a blast of smoke and fire.
And they didn’t miss.
You’d fired at them knowing that both Ray and Sengoku would heal fine from the shot regardless—if they hadn’t already blocked it with haki hardened skin.
Immediately the crackle of conqueror’s haki ceased, the pressure against your mind dissipated, and the air no longer sparked with the clash of wills.
“Enough!” you raged. “This was supposed to be a wonderful, loving family dinner. Rosi was the one who wanted all of you to get along. I couldn’t care less. Unfortunately, he’s right. We love you all, therefore, we wanted you to all meet. But I’ve had enough. This is our house, and these are our rules. Get along or get out.”
“But—” Sengoku growled.
Ray concurred. “Come now, Interesting Girl—”
“Our house, our rules!” you snapped, cocking your pistols at them both a second time. “And since the house is destroyed. You both owe me and Rosi a new one. Is it so hard to be like your wife and our children?” You pointed at Shakky, Law, and Baby 5.
Shakky just smoked with her brows raised in amusement.
Baby 5, also smoked—no wonder she was getting along with Shakky—and fluttered her fingers in a small wave of her hand. At some point Baby 5 had crawled out from under the table.
Only Law snorted. “Technically they’re the children here.”
“I am not a child,” said Sengoku. At the same time, Ray said with a bark of laughter, “The kid’s got a point.”
Ray stood first, offering his hand to Sengoku. “Truce?”
Sengoku glared at the man who was once the first mate and vice captain of the great, first King of the Pirates. He slapped his hand in Ray’s. “Truce.” You didn’t need to be part of that handshake to know that they were now having a man-off on who had the strongest grip between them. Whatever the result, they shook off the other’s hand moments later, and Sengoku flexed his arms, loosening their tension. “We’ll fix the house. Sorry, Rosinante, for the mess.”
A glance at Rosi said that he hadn’t expected the explosion at all. “It’s fine…” he replied, still a bit shell shocked.
“It’ll be done by the end of tomorrow,” Ray promised. “If you and Rosi are okay to stay with us for a night?”
“It’s fine,” you said with a sigh.
Rosi blinked out of his stupor. “Uh, yeah.”
Begrudgingly, Sengoku and Ray made plans to help with the house. Law took his leave, with a pat on Rosi’s back for support. Baby 5 glomped you with a hug and apologised for the loss of your hard work and the dinner that wasn’t going to happen now, and said she would stay the night at Shakky’s too.
Shakky was admonishing Ray, who was wise enough to look sheepish, saying something along the lines of, “Well, he got me a little riled up.”
When you were finally alone with Rosi, the tension and stress of the dinner finally over, you smiled.
“Isn’t this nice?” you said slyly to Rosi. “Getting together as a family?”
Rosi gulped, then sighed. He wrapped his arms around you. “I will never, ever ask for a family dinner again.”
You patted him on the back.

OP Incorrect quotes#39 Mi Corazon
Okay, an Idea came to mind...About Corazon Surviving Au and how he cut ties...with others to save Law, Imagen that you and he were secretly married...no one knew about you his little spouse...who thru out his...self-hazard ways...his not so sauve flirting-You loved him even when he worked so dangerously...NO ONE KNEW ABOUT YOU Doffy sure didn't not even Sengoku...law did tho...so when you assumed he died in his line of work...
So it was everyone's big shock from your crewmates to the straw hats...and the pirates de heart to see you two apparently knew each other...
Law being the most troubled knowing about you from corazon drunk talks-
You gasp as if seeing a ghost... and drop the books that you were holding with a clatter, You stand some twenty paces ahead of him, blocking the path, And let out an audible shudder upon seeing him...Ex-Spy/Marine now Pirate you fell in love even the not-so-good moments before...his fake demise
Cora*Rattled but holding his chin up*I know what you're going to say, How could I have done this? Stayed away all of this time, And why didn't I come back to you? To our home...
You steps towards him, wide-eyed and speechless
Cora: Well, what sign did I have that they could change!? That anyone at that time could?
Cora: I pleaded so many times to doctors to help him, to find another answer, but did any of them listen?-I couldn't leave him and couldn't risk you being known by him!
Brook*Standing ackwardly beside the straw hats* This is why I will never marry~ This and one other reason...Yohohoh!~
You continue to close the gap, mesmerized. With every step, Corazon becomes increasingly flustered, And he back into the wall, with nowhere to go, and You are just a few paces away
Cora*Tearful but still hissing at you* I know that I left you alone... but I thought you be better off without me, And I was wrong, I see that now*He eyes glance at Strawhats who brought you to see him*but...
You gently reach a hand toward his face
Cora: Oh stop being so stoic, Y/n!?- Go on... SHOUT, SCREAM, SAY SOMETHING!
Y/n*Tears up seeing him so close again, with a breathless whisper*You're as beautiful as the day I lost you...
Your words snuff his retort, rendering him speechless, and he softens despite, yielding his cheek to your palm. You caress his skin as a reluctant tear runs through your fingers
You pull him into a kiss, Which he resists briefly, then gives in, The pirate crew alliance all softly sigh in relief seeing you two, pleased to see you both happy once again...

One Piece Academy Chapter 45: Brothers part 1 (Quick translation)
source | translation index
Wouldn't you like to enjoy the best school life, invited by a cheerful Spring?
"Corazon"
"Rosinante"
"Corao"
"Cora chan"
"Cora san"
Young Doffy: Rosi..
Cora: *GASPS*
Cora: Huff.. Huff...
....
Luffy: *groowwl~*
Cora: Straw hat ya...!
*sliide*
Sengoku: ROSINANTE...!
Sanji, Zoro, Usopp: Bwaah!!
Cora: Sengoku san?! And you guys...
!
Law:✌🏻
Cora: Law!
Law: Two days, it's been two days since then.
[And then, The next day...]
[New World Middle School downtown Shopping Mall]
Nami: Seriously...
How could an undercover mission end up like that?
Usopp: Don't say that, let me tell you about the story of me sending back the enemy's main forces...
Zoro: How did your side go, with Oni Middle?
Nami: The meeting from our side was held at a warehouse by the Port.
Vivi: Kaido, and the three "All-Stars..."
Coby: And executives called Tobi Roppo... we confirmed all of their presence.
Franky: Yamato wasn't there, though.
Robin: The zoom-zoom noise from the man named Queen didn't let us hear the conversation, but....
Brook:. It seemed their meeting this time was to boost everyone's morale.
Nami: But there's one thing that we didn't understand.
Usopp: Eh?
Nami: Vergo sensei was present there.
[Introduction Box: New World Middle School, Vergo sensei]
Sanji: He came to teach us one day when Aokiji sensei was having a day off, didn't he...
Nami: And that's where it became strange. Just when we thought he'd take a seat,
he put on student's uniform!
Robin: After exchanging greetings with Oni Middle's executives, he handed over some documents.
And then...
"I get it, Doffy"
We heard him mutter these words.
Sanji: "Doffy"? A connection with Doflamingo?
Robin: That's a possibility. To be precise, he could be one of Doflamingo's executives, living in the guise of a teacher.
Usopp: WHAT??
Zoro: A student? As a teacher??
Coby: Let's ask next time when Corazon san heals up!
!
Cora: Yo, everyone!
Luffy: CORAO!!
Usopp: Doing good already?
Cora: Yep! Thanks to Law.
What about you guys? No class?
Nami: Aokiji sensei told us to self study. And to take a look outside the school building.
Cora: Sounds like Kuzan san, alright...

Do you think Law can cry in front of his s/o ?
I absolutely think Law could cry in front of his significant other. Crying is not something that happens often, as over time, he's grown and has hardened to the point where shedding tears is not that common. When he does cry, it's because he must be experiencing something painful– emotionally or physically. We've seen him hold back tears before, like during his conversation with Sengoku, so we do know that he can be overwhelmed by his own feelings.
When it comes to those gut-wrenching sob sessions, I think he'd be more likely to let go in front of those he's closest to. I can definitely see him crying in front of Bepo, Shachi, Penguin, and even his significant other. If Law trusts you enough to be his partner, then he's willing to share a lot with you. You'd know about Flevance, his family, his introduction to and escape from the Donquixote Pirates, and Corazon. He might be uncomfortable with the idea of laying his emotions bare at first, but over time, he'd become less afraid to let the tears flow.
If you were with him during a particularly emotional moment, he might initially hold back, evidenced by the way he clenches his fists, bites his lip, or pulls his hat down to hide his face. But when he does cry, it's genuine, raw emotion that's impossible to contain. He knows you're there for him, but he might not actively seek comfort. This is when you need to be there. Sit beside him, hold his hand, or pull him into a hug. Let him clutch onto you, even if it means staining your clothing with his tears as you run your hand through his hair to soothe him. Be there for him in whatever way he may need.
