Stiles can't keep trending water anymore. He and Derek slowly slip below the water line. Stiles crying as he gasps out that he's sorry. Derek grunting, trying to regain control of his body to save them both but failing. Then Stiles shoes hit concrete. He stands up. His chin barely underwater. He could have stood up this whole time. Derek lets out a scream that could rival Lydia's.

I think as Derek fans we have done a disservice in choosing the perfect profession for him - like yeah, he'd be great at sports, fine being a deputy, and all, but like Derek as a fireman has so much potential! I have read only few fanfics where he has been a firefighter, and I want moreeee! Like being a fireman is perfect for him in any au - his family died in fire, he fights trauma, becomes a firefighter in NY, and yada yada. Hale family is alive! well, no problem - he was a jock in high school, he grows up, decides he wants to be the saving kinda guy, becomes a firefighter in Beacon Hills.

There is so much potential here. And ofc Sterek being the relationship would be the icing on the cake what with him either being a paramedic, EMT, or like whatever profession.

SO, this is a humble request to Sterek fanfic writers - please, please, write few fics with Derek as a firefighter.

Good news, y'all!! I am once again failing spectacularly at making the "this surely isn't gonna be very long and will be mostly smutty because the whole point of it were naughty thoughts" fic short. Or focused on the smut.

But somehow the quick and dirty "Scott and Stiles take a vacation at the Hale Ranch and to let Scotty score with the owners' daughter, Stiles ~sacrifices himself~ and distracts Allison's fathers" fic has developed angst and plot and world building. Also Kira decided to go on vacation with Stiles and Scott and be smitten with Petopher's other daughter, because everyone should get a Hale, apparently.

Giving the 5.2k document a withering glare as they barely interacted twice so far and I have already angsted so much.

But at least Peter and Chris are already sufficiently smitten with Stiles. As they should.

Though, not gonna lie, I did not expect the cowboy!Petopher horse ranch AU to be my first time writing werewolf!Chris.

Ok had posted this on twitter a few weeks ago but had to share it here too!

I had the most twisted thought ever but still… What if ,when Derek had to think about a name for his son , he would have thought about calling him Stiles because he loved this weird, hyperactive, kind, caring , courageous and intelligent young men and he missed him so damn much. Maybe if he call his son like that, he would be at least as much intelligent and kind. But hey, having a son named Stiles and had kept the sheriff’s son Jeep would be too obvious you know? So he had to think harder on it.

Then he remembered that Mieczyslaw Stilinski wasn’t the first Stiles in the family. It was the sheriff’s father. He knew that he wasn’t a good man, he knew what he had done to Noah and his mother, because he would have all about Stiles and his life archived somewhere in his brain. So he had took days of reflexion on it but what at the end it was pretty good to keep people from understand what he was doing. Stiles grand-father’s name was Elias, so he goes for Eli. Because in his maze of a brain, it was the closest he could get to « Stiles » .

Obviously at some point Noah had figured the thought process. It had help that the kid was so Stiles-like.He almost could have sworn that the boy could be his hidden grand-son if he didn’t knew that he was Derek’s son.

One day, as Derek was coming to get his kid back from the police station once again because he had obviously stolen the damn jeep. The sheriff gave back the car’s key to a jaded, ashamed and tired werewolf dad. Noah had smiled at him with simpathy and understanding. And looking at the boy siting in the jeep he told him

« I hope that the name had gifted him with what you wanted at first, because for me now he seem just as much a troublesome clumsy obsessed-with-this-jeep trouble-magnet as my boy was »Derek had raised his eyebrows at first in shock and looked at his son, let a loud sigh escaped and just answered

« Obviously it didn’t occurred to me that it was coming as a package to balanced the gifted side of it. Lucky me, you know how to deal with it. Thanks »Noah had laughed at that

Derek as he opened the jeep’s door grin at him

He get in and drove , trying to not smile as he looked at his son, the almost spiting image of Mieczyslaw Stiles Stilinski. This name had really gifted his son with all he wanted it to and even more.He laughed slightly as he thouht that Stiles would freak out the day he would run into his boy riding in his mother’s old jeep.
