Skyline GTR race history.

KPGC-10

The Skyline GT-R (PGC10) was born in 1969. It was equipped with the S20 (1989cc inline 6 DOHC 4 valve) engine for the Nissan R380. From 1971, the 2-door hardtop KPGC10 became mainstream, and in 1972 it won 50 races (Fuji Inter 200 Miles on September 3, 1972).

The R32 model, equipped with a straight-six engine, turbocharged engine and 4WD, revived the GT-R name, and at the same time, the name resounded on the circuit for the first time in 17 years. In the All Japan Touring Car Championship, it quickly overtook the Ford Sierra of the time, and went on to win the championship four years in a row until 1993.

The GT-R moved its battlefield to the All Japan GT Championship. From 1995 to 1998, the R33 model was introduced, which was converted to FR and had its drivetrain and aerodynamics modified, and it won the championship in the first year and in 1998. It also became the center of Nissan's Le Mans project and participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing 5th in its class (1995).

It made its debut in the opening race of the 1999 season, and went on to win the championship that year. The R34 was light, had excellent rigidity, and was more aerodynamically refined, so it seemed ideal, but it struggled with the rise of rivals. In 2002, it was equipped with a new VQ engine, but still failed to win a race. However, the following year it was reborn as a stronger and faster car, achieving a double crown.

Fushikizou from the 1st year ro-class was enjoying shadowbathing as usual when Kirimaru walked by. Then, he heard the sound of coins falling to the ground... but Kirimaru didn't react to them at all. Could this be the "thrills and suspense~!" Fushikizou has been looking for? Can he solve this mystery?!

So there was some discussion a while back about about the ongoing 'Aisha has a dick' joke and how with Colin's daughter being a trans woman it's now being more recognised as a transphobic joke.

Colin has spoken a few times in interviews about a message he received from a trans man who runs improv classes who congratulated him on his daughter, thanking him for his support for her, but asking him to be mindful of transphobic and homophobic jokes they've done on the show in the past.

With that in the back of my mind, I was watching a S20 episode that was filmed post pandemic (2022?) where Aisha is being a prop in the scene and this sort of joke came up again with Aisha starting it, Colin looking distasteful about it, but Ryan this time was the one to divert it into something else. I get the feeling Aisha may have realised pretty much immediate it wasn't a good "joke" to bring back, but thankfully things continued on smoothly. She was looking at Colin when the camera cuts back so maybe there was unseen communication or more dialogue removed in the edit.

Maybe I'm looking too deeply at it I don't know. Plus I noticed a new episode using footage from a good 6+ years ago featured an 'Aisha dick joke' (C'mon show producers! FFS!) so yeah, can this "joke" just die now?

What is your thought when kyle sees, feels, and acts when he sees cartman with heidi and yentle (post covid)

what’s running through kyle’s head subconsciously whether he realizes it or not is “THAT’S MY SPOT, I DESERVE TO BE THE ONE STANDING NEXT TO CARTMAN NOT THAT HO”. even tho kyle isn’t aware that he likes cartman he still is extremely posessive of him & likes being physically close to cartman and in his personal bubble at all times even if this is just to yell at him, physically harass him, or put him in his place on why he’s wrong LOL and yeah when there’s a bitch there next to him that kind of gets hard because then kyle doesn’t get to be an asshole all he wants to cartman as a way of expressing his true feelings. bc if kyle just started yelling at cartman or starting shit with him when heidi was there too that would’ve just made him look like an asshole and made it look like he was harassing BOTH cartman & heidi which would look really bad on kyle if he was harassing a female and a nice person like heidi bc of the ‘good boy’ image he portrays to everyone. with cartman he can get away with being a dick to him all he wants bc he knows everyone else agrees that cartman sucks. i love how in s20 kyle didn’t let his true assholery show towards cartman abt his relationship with heidi until that moment when it was just them one on one and he threatened to expose cartman’s internet history LOL. in all the other scenes with kyle & cartman when heidi was there too kyle was trying his best to be polite and hold back his asshole comments which was hard for him to do. like how he got totally speechless when he saw cartman & heidi for the first time bc he felt like he couldn’t communicate with cartman in the same old love/hate way he always does anymore. ik he’s thinking “can this bitch please leave so i can talk to him abt taking down butters” bc that’s another thing kyle feels like he can be himself more when he’s around cartman and it’s just them so ofc he’s gonna get jealous af when cartman is spending all his time with another person and so then kyle knows he has to go back to acting fake. and i’m sure kyle knew damn well that his evil little plot for him & cartman to take down butters was prob something that someone pure like heidi would frown upon LOL but yeah i’m sure most of the kids in their class frown upon the fucked up shit kyle likes to do with cartman, which is why he’s not that open abt that part of himself to other people, aside from the part in “crack baby athletic association” when kyle kept trying to justify himself to stan.

Samsung’s Moon Shots Force Us to Ask How Much AI Is Too Much

Have you heard the moon conspiracy theory? No, not the one about the moon landings. It’s about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and the theory it fabricates pictures of the moon, creating images that are far more detailed than the camera itself can actually capture.

Is it true? The reality is a bit more complicated than a pure yes or no answer. And the closer you look, the more you realize that whether a photo is “real” or not is something you can ask of most of the photos you take with a phone.

The Moon Issue Lands

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Moongate saga began when Reddit user ibreakphotos posted about their own experiments with moon photography. Their claim is that when someone shoots the moon using the phone’s super-extended hybrid zoom mode, Samsung effectively puts a lunar texture on the images.

This is something Samsung denies. We reached out to the company to get the official line: “Samsung is committed to delivering best-in-class photo experiences in any condition. When a user takes a photo of the moon, the AI-based scene optimization technology recognizes the moon as the main object and takes multiple shots for multi-frame composition, after which AI enhances the details of the image quality and colours. It does not apply any image overlaying to the photo. Users can deactivate the AI-based Scene Optimizer, which will disable automatic detail enhancements to any photos taken.”

Creating a single image out of multiple exposures is at the heart of computational photography. But, as ibreakphotos proved, there’s more going on here. Samsung’s Fake Moon Photo Controversy shows that some of the user’s testing was pretty smart. A photo of the moon was blurred, and displayed at a distance, putting a hard ceiling on how much detail would be possible to capture, regardless of the quality of the camera’s optics.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s image still gives off the impression of having much more detail than the source image being captured. The effect in their sample images is dramatic.

This test has, no surprise, been repeated elsewhere since this whole moon issue hit blast-off. Famous YouTuber Marques Brownlee tried it, for example, and found that while his results were in no way as dramatic as ibreakphotos’ at Reddit, they were there. Mobile photography content creator Shayne Mostyn’s results sat somewhere between the two.

The Moon Travels in Circles?

Something is going on here. But this is not the “gotcha” scoop that parts of the internet might have you believe, because the issue has cropped up before.

Samsung introduced its moon mode processing two years ago with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, because it in turn introduced us to the company’s 10x zoom camera and 100x hybrid “space zoom.” Its successor, the S21 Ultra, with an even better zoom, was accused of faking photos, leading Input to investigate for itself, and it came to largely the same conclusions we see today. The Galaxy S21 Ultra did do a bit more than your standard image processing when shooting the moon.

I think s19-s21 is a pretty interesting window of sp regarding taking a new approach towards Many Things (starting with a new brand new principal) including female characters and while a lot of it amounted to writing Leslie and Heidi from props into more fleshed out characters (one day we'll reach double digits trust me 🤞) i think the early part of s20 is where they got more ambitious bc it actually recognized the key flaw of their female cast which is being second class citizens whose voices are never listened

This season set the things to change and then it didn't, and to even make things it arguably enforced that ultimately the only real strenght the girls truly have is being The Girlfriends and even then they use their one sexist ace in the stupidiest and most pathetic way imaginable into trying to rope the male 4th graders into ratting out SkankHunter who they assume is another kid for... some reason and i guess this causes the boys do to the only almost reasonable action of blaming Cartman, who is not guilty, making the overral situation so shitty and confusing, all just to isolate Cartman and Heidi and have them to connect thanks to the most contrived and useless plot ever who only serves to say "Wendy&Co's only value to the boys nothing more as "love interest"" which is true. Very true. But i really would have preferred Anything else to prove this point and still make s20's plot (regardless of the stupid president election changing the plot or whatever, bc i doubt M&T actually ever cared about the "gender war" plot beyond being a plot device) work
