You can see in the game video that this character can pull Stiehlhand grantes from her bosom an infinite number of times. I love how silly sprite based games were! Destroy an oil barrel and out comes a turkey dinner. Seems legit! Love it!

Finally managed to finish these alien horsies for my “Chronicles Of Metamoor” collab story/project 🐎

Xephyrus:

This breed can be found all over Meridian and Metamoor, they are known for having 2 sets of eyes, 3 horns along their snout and forehead (rarely they can be born with 2 horns or even more rarely with just 1, and in such cases the animal becomes very valuable to owners), a long lion-like tail and cloven hooves. Once there was a single ancestor, but now Xephyrus’ looks are very diverse due to all the different tasks they are bred to do, or the different locations they inhabit. Among them there are 5 distinguishable variations:

Common: Are very adaptable animals that can be found in almost every corner of the planet. They are decently sized from medium to tall, and very sturdy. Their coats come in an infinite variety of colors and patterns, their horns are sharp and straight. They are usually easy to train with a docile temperament, and their high endurance makes them useful for both riding long distances and being a work animal. Some people like to point that dogs are men’s best friends, but any Meridianite farmer will instantly disagree and state that it’s this horse instead!

Pure-blooded: These horses are the result of centuries of selective breeding. They are tall and lean but strong, with longer horns slightly curved. They have a completly white coat with a noticeable pearlescent/iridescent quality to it. Occasionally completly black animals are born (such as prince Dante’s mare) although those tend to not survive long for they are usually rejected or even killed by their mothers at birth, and due to this strange phenomenon most people in Meridian consider it to be bad luck to own a black Pure-blooded. These horses have a somewhat mischievous personality and can be stubborn to train, they are know to buck inexperienced riders. Pure-blooded Xephyrus are bred as mounts for nobles such as the Escanors.

Draft: Are large and heavily built animals, their coats come in dark colors, with shades of blue and green being the most common. They have very short blunt horns which are almost bumps along their foreheads. They usually have a very calm and patient temperament, and were bred to carry and pull heavy loads, as well as being battle horses in times of war. They fair well in rocky terrains and mountains.

Pony: Are short and fluffly, their coats come in a variety of light tones and they have straight spiral horns. Xephyrus ponies are very tough and resilient despite their size, and can endure the most freezing climates and snow. They usually have a friendly but feisty temperament, and are very useful for a variety of tasks such as plowing, riding, pulling and more. In the most harsh locations where people don’t have much livestock they are also bred for milk, and sometimes meat and fur for clothes.

Wild/Volcano Horse: They are medium sized animals, with dark horns curved backwards which get lighter the longer they grow, and the horn closer to it’s forehead is significantly larger and similar to a sable antelope’s horn. They have very dark coats either black or brown with splashes of bright orange, yellow or red markings and a bright mane and tail of the same color. Wild Xephyrus are agile, intelligent and sharp, with a very agressive temperament which makes them pratically impossible to train or ride. They form herds and inhabit volcanic mountains and valleys. People call them “Volcano Horses” not only because they can withstand hostile locations with intense heat, but also because of their fiery nature and the way their markings resemble spashes of burning lava. These wild horses are considered prized trophy hunting game among nobles, and their horns are rumored to have all sorts of healing powers, such as curing terminal diseases and infertility and even having rejuvenating properties, but the truth behaind such rumors is very questionable.

Runark/Tribal Horse:

They are a close relative of the Xephyrus, and perhaps an example of Metamoor’s megafauna. The Runark is an enourmous and sturdy breed of horses that inhabits the jungles and forests of Meridian and Metamoor. Unlike the Xephyrus they lack the extra pair of eyes and the long tail, as well as the horns since their big height, strenght and thick skin are enough defense against predators and threats.They lack good eyesight, which they make up for with extremely sharp hearing and senses.These horses usually have a timid and serene temperament, and despite their size and heavy weight they are very fast in their galop.

Tribal Galhots use Runarks as mounts, and therefore the herds that reside near Tribal Galhot territory and villages have become semi-domesticated, meaning that the horses roam freely most of the time and Tribals accasionally fetch them for riding or labor when needed, releasing them again afterwards. The animals have become used to the partnership with Tribal Galhots and are taught to respond and approach their calls and signals, this has earned Runarks the name “Tribal Horse” as well.

Nagar:

An extremely rare breed of carnivore, dragon-like equines that can only be found in the desert region of the Naga Empire (lord Cedric’s people).They might have been a wild animal at some point, but now all existing Nagar horses are raised in captivity, and used exclusively as mounts for Naga royalty in special events and occasions. Basically these animals are for the most part highly esteemed pets, meant to be symbols of status and nobility rather than actual means of transport or labor. Because of their 3 horns along their snout it is speculated that the Nagar might be some distant relative of the Xephyrus, but this is uncertain.

Due to the rarity and mistery surrounding them, Nagars became the subject of legends and myths. Amongst such legends there is even a story of one of the past Queens of Meridian who was carried by her faithful Nagar horse to the heavens, and from Meridian a constelation with the name “Dragon Queen” can be seen, which supposedly represents the tale of the Queen riding her Nagar through the starts.

Notes:

- The Nagar breed is based on the horse creature that Elyon rides in the Japanese Manga, and that she also calls “Nagar” : i.pinimg.com/originals/00/aa/9…

-All variations of Xephyrus are able to breed with one another which results in offspring with all kinds of mixed features.

-It’s possible (although difficult) for Xephyrus to breed with Runark and Nagar horses, but the hybrid foal will likely be born sterile, like it happens to mules.

Event 8.8 bikin aku emosi. Emosi beneran. Hampir nyerah sama semuanya. Sayang energiku terbuang sia-sia karena orang yang egois. Jadi, aku yang ngalah--lagi.

Kamu tau kan, kurir ekspedisi itu juga manusia, aku pun manusia biasa yang sering khilaf. Kalau mau jajanannya cepat sampai ke rumah harusnya dia jemput sendiri pakai kereta kencana.

Gara-gara satu orang, aku sampai bongkar box lagi. Packing ulang dari awal. Capek ngga? Banget. Bikin encok tuh kalau pakcing photocard. Ngga sama kaya packing seblak instant yang satset jadi.

Terus ditanya, paketku sudah sampai mana kak? Minta resinya, blablabla. Aku langsung ngamuk, lah. Sudah cukup aku baik-baikin dia yang kayak Ratu itu, buat payment aja suka telat, pas kena denda ga dibayar, alasan nunggu temenlah, inilah, prik, tau gak?

Capek ngadepin customer satu itu. Mana gara-gara booster aku tambah drop. Semoga besok lebih kuat menghadapi manusia-manusia seperti itu.
