For some reason, I don't think this scene...

Is Joe giving in to Ming.

The shattered mugs from the previous episode were basically Joe's heart. He's learned his lesson now.

It would make more sense to me if Joe is using Ming's wants and desires against him in this scene rather than Joe falling for Ming's seduction.

I have no idea why. But it looks like Joe has his hands tied behind his back, so it might be to escape somehow. And, obviously, Ming is too horny to refuse and won't know what hit him until Joe is gone. Maybe?

(I haven't had the time to come this far into the novel yet, I'm only on chapter 2, lol, so please don't spoil it for me.)

But whatever this scene may be. I'm sure it's not Joe falling for Ming's charm or his bullshit again.

I mean, he can't be that dumb, can he? Naive? Yes. But I'm pretty sure his naivety shattered with those mugs. And his heart.
