New Zealand is such a weird place. Like... I was hungry at around 5 in the morning and don't have any food, so I pop out to the local dairy in pjs and without shoes, and there's about 3 other people there doing exactly the same thing. I went out to the south island for 3 weeks to go skiing, and forget to close my garage door. NOTHING HAPPENS. It just stays open. No theft or anything. The ocean is 15 fucking minutes away. I can't die from murdery animals or plants here either.

i also did not realise until i transitioned just how limited men are in their means of self-expression. patriarchal rules dictate that lest ye be read as Womanly (or, god forbid, gay), you must strip back your aesthetic to the absolute bare minimum. in fact, it's probably best if you don't even know what "aesthetic" means, because aesthetics are definitely a little bit gay. there are so many unspoken rules. no fun hair colours or styles. no jewellery. no tight clothes. no bright hues. no hand gesturing while talking. no emotional, expressive manners of speech. no manicures. no dancing or singing. certain kinds of food and drink, certain scents, certain colours, are off limits. for so many people, the definition of masculinity is just... nothing. a blank slate. no wonder straight men are in such a state of fucking crisis

I used to play rugby when I was in college and I’m so happy for all of these ladies but especially the USA team who finally won a medal. I feel like rugby is a special sport because not many others would you get a group picture with all three winning teams together. I’m so happy that the women and rugby as a sport got more recognition this Olympics.

I want to go back in time to 2015 me and grab me by the shoulders and shake me a bit and tell myself: “you will fall again, and you’ll sprain your ankle, again (other one this time). But at least time time you won’t be hobbling alone and your bedroom is not up a flight of stairs. But it’s still going to suck because you don’t get to play DAV”

q for you: sub harry or dom harry?
harry's a dominating force and i think even when he's on the receiving end of attention he prefers to be in control sooooo that makes it really compelling if he's put in a position of having to give it up. so the answer is - i see dom harry more easily but sub harry moves me more.
in combination w draco i think the possibilities are endless that boy is for sure an as-and-when-it-suits-him switch

While I typically don’t care about rugby, this is an important moment, one of the things that’s been discussed for many years as a milestone we might eventually pass. For decades the All Blacks have been idealised as role models of Kiwi masculinity, so for any of them to say publicly that he’s gay is kind of a big deal.
(Women’s rugby meanwhile is simply teeming with lesbians, and good for them.)
