I absolutely love the scene where Naare told Rowan that the Kyber Saber is wasted on him and I know that it's an extremely serious scene, but I kinda think it's funny just how OFFENDED and absolutely PISSED OFF Rowan got when she said that.

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?
Rowan. Freemaker.
Both of them are the youngest brother, both of them are super-duper magic, both of them have ADHD but are undiagnosed.
They both really, really care about their families and are able to harness super power old magic weapons.
I could go on and on forever but Rowan. Just Rowan. They are the same character and I love them both so much.

The Freemakers, especially Zander have that no sabo kid swag. Rowan would be the one to actually learn Spanish. Kordi just rolls along with it. Roger is the equivalent of the white guy in "every Hispanic family has a white guy" meme but he's a droid.

Dad December day 4 Luke's father
A Star Wars fanfiction for @daddecember event Dad December day 4 "Wait, Wait, he's your father?" and a nod to a concept for the sequal trilogy of Anakin Skywalker's ghost being half Anakin and half Darth Vader.
As Luke Skywalker and his pawdin Rowan Freemaker explore a ancient Jedi Temple, a ghost of Jedi whose left side is that of Darth Vader appear and it spooks while the stunned Luke said, "Father..." and the ghost of Anakin Skywalker said in a mix of his voice and the voice of Darth Vader, "My son...." Rowan then call out, "Wait a minture! Master Skywaker, Darth Vader is your father?!?" and Luke reply, "I'm afriad so. I couldn't believe it myself when he told me."

Rowan Freemaker, Princess Leia Organa, Din Djarin, Grogu, and Seb Ta'low. They are meeting on the "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" freighter. Image by me. Mini-figs and materials by LEGO.
I have Spoken (Part 6 of LEGO My Lightsaber!)
The trip to Zoh, the junkyard planet that housed Jek, a clone capable of using the Force, was largely uneventful. Grogu, Rowan, and Princess Leia spent as much time as they could practicing with the Force. Lifting, moving, floating, and ‘influencing’ the other people on board the ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’.
There were exceptions of course. Grogu refused to let anyone influence his dad. He explained via Rowan who really seemed tuned into him, that his dad wasn’t susceptible to misdirection the way many other humans were. He’d tried it. It hadn’t worked. And he really didn’t want to have to write a thousand sentences out in Aurebesh stating, ‘Grogu will not use the Force on Din Djarin ever!’.
Grogu had been convinced that it hadn’t been worth the trouble after writing out just the first ten sentences. No frog flavored popcorn tasted good enough to overcome the memories of how much his hand and arm ached after finishing that task.
Princess Leia had offered to bat her eyelashes at his dad and Rowan said he could probably just get Kordi to cook for him if Grogu thought that would work. Grogu sighed and reminded them that the Mandalorian was used to women trying to boss him around and that it had hardly ever worked. Also, he loved ration packs too much to be tricked by food. They just needed to tell him the truth. They were practicing their Force skills. As a Mandalorian, his dad respected that sort of thing.
Zander and Kordi however had been fair game and after sending them both to fetch them ice pops, gorgs on a stick (the princess liked them, go figure), and other small snacks a couple of times, the three trainees agreed that it was too easy to influence them and hadn’t been much of a challenge. That’s when they started to pick a crew member at random and have them bring sweets to the Mandalorian. Grogu had suggested it because he knew that his dad like sweets, but didn’t like to ask for them, it would be a challenge to get people to interrupt a Mandalorian at work, and it could all be considered part of training and quality control, another thing Mandalorians approved of whole heartedly.
By the time they popped out of hyperspace and were in orbit around Zoh, they had sent every crew member of the freighter to meet with the Mandalorian, except for the mechs and droids. You could do a lot with the Force, but reprogramming a droid or mech had so far eluded the three of them and they realized they’d just have to find another teacher to help them with that part of their education.
Grogu had enjoyed eating the treats they brought the Mandalorian and had noticed that his dad’s cuirass was a little tight around the thorax. Din Djarin must have enjoyed some of the offerings, even though there had been plenty of leftovers for Grogu. Now Grogu hoped that he had enough energy to help Jek, Luke, Leia, and Rowan to deal with the Emperor’s Dream.
Like everyone else on the freighter Grogu found himself smushed up to a viewing port as they made their initial pass by the derelict ship. It was pretty in the way that Krayt Dragons were pretty in your imagination. Up close and personal, not so much. It was terrifying and Grogu wondered what sort of thing had scared Sheev Palpatine when he was a youngling that he would dream of a ship this beautifully awful.
“So that’s why we’re here. Nice of you to keep that information from us, Princess.”
Grogu’s dad didn’t sound happy, but then maybe he just had indigestion?
“Sorry, Mando. It was need to know and you didn’t need to know. This ship is going to be demolished and relocated to the surface of Zoh. The Jedi Council agreed that it was the most prudent thing to do given the capabilities of the ship.”
“Just who is on this Jedi Council? Other than Skywalker and maybe Ahsoka Tano, this galaxy doesn’t have any Jedi.”
The Mandalorian sounded smug and Grogu didn’t blame him. Not really. He wasn’t wrong, but he wasn’t strictly correct either.
“There are still a few of us wandering around the Galaxy, Din Djarin. Jek is an old friend so I agreed to meet him out here. Senator Organa, it’s a pleasure to meet you. Rowan Freemaker, like wise. I am Seb Ta’low, a friend of Grogu’s and a former Jedi Knight.”
Both Grogu and his dad had been startled when the tall figure joined them, Jedi cloak covering his head and hiding his identity, until his voice gave him away. The cloak was removed with a flourish and Grogu found himself grinning at one of his favorite people.
“Seb, I should have figured you’d find your way here. It’s good to see you again. Grogu still plays with that brick building set you gave him.”
“Good. It should help us all as we take the Emperor’s Dream apart. What can be built can be unbuilt, take my word for it. Are you going to join us Djarin? It might be fun to watch.”
The Mandalorian laughed at that suggestion and Grogu wondered why.
“I think it’s probably better for those of us who aren’t Jedi to stay out of your way and keep an eye out for Imp Remnants. It’s very hard to keep secrets about a ship that big just popping up, even if it’s in a backwater part of the galaxy like this one.”
“Speaking for the Jedi Council, we all appreciate that, Mando. Well, Rowan, Grogu, are you two ready to go meet Jek?”
Princess Leia seemed relieved and Grogu wondered why. It wasn’t like his dad was going to…
“Oh, Grogu’s not going with you. He’s not a Jedi. He’s a Mandalorian. My apprentice. He’ll be staying with me.”
Din Djarin turned to his son and Grogu tried not to cringe when he heard the fateful words.
“I have spoken.”

Time for random things I question whenever I watch the Freemaker Adventures:
- Why didn't Lando and Chewbacca recognize Kordi and Zander in the Cloud City episode?
- Why did the Freemakers choose to be a neutral party despite their parents being both imperial and hutt fugitives?
- How come Graballa doesn't recognize the kids despite knowing the parents?
- What is the Special connection between Rowan and Kantoo other than the connection to the Kyber Saber/ Kyber Crystals?
- When did Kordi start to get paranoid about Rowan's safety?
- When the heck did Palpy and Vader take Naare's holocron?
- When did Pace and Lena start making business cards?
- Did Rowan take up karaoke at one point?
- Did the Freemaker kids ever meet Han Solo at some point?
- When did Zander start to develop a crush on Becky?
- How long was Palpy's secret project and did it change multiple times before settling on MOC?
- When Did Cooper start becoming a frequent customer at Freemaker Salvage and Repair?
- When did Zander's passion for creating the blazemaker start?
- Did Luke and Leia meet the freemakers again before season 2?
- When did Palpy have the budget to build a museum?
- When did Roger start cooking food and learning recipes?
- Did Roger's book ever trend on the holonet?
.
.
.
Ughhhh! My brain feels drained. I literally had so many more questions for this post. But will save that for a part 2.
