SO i uh. only meant to do one or two of these, but ghost trick-style kakyoin expressions are insanely fun to draw and my hand slipped.

(... really though, we never did see kakyoin's soul pass on. maybe he did end up sticking around a bit longer...)

a Merry Christmas to my VtM group, @dapperbasil and @prettycatgirlwinter! This year I drew and printed out stickers of the Royal Flush Coterie as their assigned card suits with personalized clan symbols.

There's been a lot of change and reveals over the last two years of the chronicle, and it's fun to showcase that in a single drawing.

Potential Muses - Part Two

Continued from here, same deal as before. I’ve listed eight more muses below the cut, muses which are not officially part of this blog but may end up on here at some point. If there’s any interest in knowing more about them or starting a thread, hmu!

Lionel / Guardian - Lionel was originally a tool - nothing but a shield for a faction called V’aarn Athil, a radical sect of psychics who fought the void’s encroachment on the material plane. After his base was wiped out, he lost his memory and was found by a farmer. When he instinctually used his psychic powers to heal the farmer during a prayer, the farmer mistakenly assumed Lionel had been blessed by the god of light, and had become a paladin. Lionel, not knowing any better, became a follower of the light god. He travels the world seeking to help others using psychic powers he believes to be divine.

Ren’dalar Eventide (art by filibusterfrog​) - A shadar-kai swiftblade who died trying to stop a mad wizard from completing an ascension ritual to transform himself into a dragon. The ritual went haywire, trapping the mad wizard - now a dragon - and Ren’dalar in an endless cycle of reincarnation. The two have been fighting and killing one another for thousands of years.

Rob Wylde - A human sellsword who spent many years as a bandit. After killing some adventurers in a brutal conflict alongside the remnants of his old band, Rob, the sole survivor, finished the adventurer’s contract in hopes to cash in on their quest. He was scouted by some other adventurers when he showed up at the guild and, with no bandit troupe to return to, he decided to try the life of a “legal” mercenary.

Sir Rowan Adelard - A knight by social class alone, Sir Rowan Adelard is a skilled warrior who uses feints and sleight of hand to get the upper hand in combat, a man with little aversion to “fighting dirty.” He is a staunch defender of the people, and some rumors say he even has ties to a rogueish syndicate. But that would be preposterous, seeing how he’s a knight and all!

Theran Stryker - Son of the famed hero Scout Stryker, Theran has always lived in his fathers’ shadow. He grew up on the road, never having a stable home and never knowing his mother who died giving birth to him. Forced to learn the ways of the warrior from a living legend of a father, Theran fell short, unable to match up to his dad. After failing a particularly important mission, his father decided Theran needs to travel alone, as he cannot accompany him forever. While his father saw this as a push towards independence, Theran saw it as a betrayal, as if he had been disowned.

Vaelin Goldenbrow - Vaelin is a high elf scholar who taught at a rather diverse school for people from all over the world. After his only daughter marries a human, Vaelin fears for her happiness as she is bound to far outlive him. Wanting his daughter’s marriage to be a long and happy one, Vaelin sets out on a journey to unlock the secrets of chronomancy - looking for a way to make his new son-in-law age much, much slower.

Vivian Song - Vivian, or Vi (pronounced “vee”) as some of her friends call her, is a narcoleptic noblewoman. Frail since birth, she is visited by a god in her dreams who promises her health in exchange for her worship. She accepts, finding herself slowly becoming more physically fit. Once she feels confident, Vivian steals some armor from her family’s storehouse and runs away, hoping to make good use of the divine magic she’s now acquired. She dreams of getting rich quick and retiring, sleeping all day in a comfy bed with servants to bring her food and tend to her needs.

Willow Belvari - Willow is a priestess, a holy woman known for having an interest in scholarly pursuits. What people don’t know is that she is in fact a void fanatic, obsessed with eldritch knowledge that would break the mind of a lesser mortal. She dreams of joining the horrors who lurk beyond the stars - not as a servant, but as an equal.

cutting it close but we've got Reid, Tammy, and the Lady coming in! Not the best for getting along with Setites but I'm sure they can make an exception for the night. The Lady is wearing a cute little christmas tree dress, Reid is not beating the allegations with a Meowy Christmas sweater, and Tammy is in a ✗Naughty ✗Nice ✓Ventrue sweater. Transparent under the cut:

Modern nights Reid's got his mechanical prosthetic and Tammy wears her hair shorter, they're doing better for themselves as Reeve and Sweeper. Reid's 6'4" and Tammy's 5'6".

It's getting to be that time of year where there are rapid fire back-to-back holidays! It's enough to make even a Kindred's head spin with how busy we're getting! This time around it's a grand holiday party starring your favorite OC - no specific clan here! Just whoever you feel like showing up to the party. The local Followers of Set are hosting the shindig at their club and temple and invite you to wear a fun holiday sweater and party the night away! Parvati is wearing a "I'm so Good, Santa Came Twice" sweater, Harrakhty is wearing a "Big Nick Energy" sweater, and Set Reborn Kahanni thought it would be funny to celebrate the birth of Christ on her sweater. It's time for another Vampire the Masquerade community collaboration! Please please please draw your favorite Vampire the Masquerade OC alongside ours (these characters belong to me and @thesixthplaneteer) so that everyone can celebrate the holidays!

Like the other collaborations, I will take all submissions at the deadline and smush them all into one final collab piece - the deadline will be December 23rd!! (A Monday!) I tried to answer how to submit here in case you were curious! It would be great for you to post a PNG of your character beneath a cut when you reblog the piece just for easier management!

(For reference, Harrakhty Hamdi is 6'5", Kahanni is 6'3", and Parvati is 5'11". GIANTS this go around!)

Thorne closed their eyes and followed the path that they had rehearsed, counting their footsteps as they tread slowly to avoid catching the cape they were not yet accustomed to. The sound of voices guided their path as they stepped slowly into the ball room, the soft hum of contentment from their archbishop and murmurs from those nearby telling Thorne all they needed to know, that their point had come across without fail. The King and his Slayer, adorned in blood red beads with his crown and robe, made their entrance.

Sketch that got lazier as I went

I sat down to draw new art for a couple of them for this.

On the left we have Orion Grimaldi, a former Revenant who enjoys embedding gemstones in their own skin and that of their ghouls. They've completely replaced their hands with gems. They ended up diablerizing their sire and are currently a bit busy with trying to track down their twin (who is a Revenant and Hunter) to embrace them. Normal Twin Things.

On the right is the newest guy I've been cooking up, One of Many Masks. They're a Dark Ages kindred with the Promethean Clay merit and Faceless flaw, turning them into a massive inconsistency in regards to their appearance every night. Their Vicissitude is just a tool to them, nothing they particularly enjoy. Also yes that is a tiny dragon on their shoulder. That is a manifestation of their Beast that they use to unnerve people.

honorable mention is Samantha, a Tzimisce who is pretending to be a Gangrel. She's following the lead of her sire and grandsire, Anarchs who also pretend to be anything other than Tzimisce. Her sire, James Obertus is a former Revenant pretending to be a Gangrel, while her grandsire Dr. Leopold Spencer is an Old Clan whose merits let him pass off as a human.
