“What are you doing for your anniversary?” Eve’s question stopped Rosta in his tracks. He stared at their mobile unit, blank confusion on his features. Eve sighed when he didn’t verbally respond, running a hand over their face.
“Yours and Alana’s anniversary. You know. The one coming up in less than a week, now.” At Rosta’s continued silence, Eve threw their hands up.
“You’re joking right? I even gave you the information on human relationships.” Rosta didn’t want to admit he skimmed some of it. His mouth set into a frustrated frown as he re-searched through his information cache about this “anniversary”. His sigh was all Eve needed.
“I see I have nearly missed something important. Thank you.” The words were grumbled out, in shame, and Eve seemed to notice. They gave him an amused half-smile. Ideas were instantly flying through his processor, trying to think of something to do.
“... I will need to tell Alana that I will be busy for the next few- would you be willing to lie, Eve?” Eve blinked. A frown settled on their face. He held a hand up before they could accuse him of anything.
“There is something I need to create- Prala already has a blueprint, so all I need is time to make it. You will just tell her I will be busy.” Eve sighed. They know he doesn’t need sleep, but the idea of him working tirelessly on his mystery project still brings a sense of unease. But, this wouldn’t be the first time one of the AI has, they suppose.
“How many days,” they huffed. Rosta gave them an appreciative nod. He hummed slightly in thought.
“Four to five days. I will be back before the actual anniversary.” Eve put their hands on their hips, mouth set in a hard line. Their eyes narrowed. Rosta frowned.
“I’ll return in five days at the longest. Just until then. If I’m gone longer, you can tell Alana the truth. Alright?” Rosta started to head off, heading down to the section of the station that was reserved for the rest of the AI. Eve sighed, dejected, and headed off.
Rosta called his human girlfriend, fans turning on as nervousness set in. He was a good liar in the sense he naturally had a monotonous voice, but he always grew anxious when he had to lie to her. It didn’t happen often, but he still worries.
“Rosta? Something wrong?” Alana’s voice comes through the communicator clear as day. The robot can’t help but smile slightly. It was always a joy to hear her. But he needed to focus.
“There are some issues going on with some of the nodes deep in the AI section of the station- I’ll be working on them for a few days so I will not be home.” The silence on the other end immediately told Rosta that she was upset. He did not feel good about it.
“....... Oh. Will… you be gone a long time?” He could almost hear her worrying on the hem of her shirt through the comm. He smiled slightly to himself.
“No more than five days. I will return before the week is over, I promise.” She let out a little sigh.
“Alright. I’ll see you in a few days then. I’ll let Maddie know.” Rosta’s smile fell slightly. He felt especially bad about leaving Maddie for so long, as well. Hopefully, they’ll both understand.
“I’ll call to say goodnight, will that make you both feel better,” Rosta offered. Alana let out a small laugh. He could tell that put her a bit more at ease. Good. He didn’t want her to be so upset, especially with what he had planned.
“Alright, I’ll make sure to let Maddie know that too. I’ll talk to you before we go to bed, okay?” Rosta hummed slightly in response. He agreed, giving a brief goodbye- and “I love you”- and hanging up. Rosta sighed, before immediately messaging his protege- Prala.
“I need to look through your blueprints. Are you available?”
Of course they were. They were always excited to spend time with their creator.
Prala was nice enough, if over-excited about his plan. They had the plans he needed at the ready- a large, circular base that could display holographic images above it. Rosta had a backlog of pictures that he could upload into it- many family photos, as well as just photos of himself and Alana. He was thankful he automatically recorded things.
Rosta holed himself up in Vaerol’s workshop. Alana and Maddie rarely visit Vaerol due to their persistent distrust of organics, and Alana’s anxiety. He was sure he’d be uninterrupted for the duration of his stay, leaving him proper time to work.
A device such as this wasn’t hard to make for him. It was near elementary for someone with his skill and knowledge. The allotted time was more for making sure he had good images to use and to account for any customizations he wanted to make. Such as for the base to play music.
Alana hada a few songs she’d listen to often, and it was easy to ask Eve for the music files. She tended to favor soft music. Something Maddie could also listen to. Good thing he didn’t intend on making a more adult version of this gift. That could be saved for her birthday. He couldn’t help his sly smile at that thought.
Rosta worked on his little gift for five days, as he thought. Every night he would sit on call with Maddie until she fell asleep. Then when the child- their child- was asleep, Alana would sit on call afterward. Like mother, like daughter- Alana would sit on call until she simply went to sleep. He would listen to her for a little bit, then hang up the call so he wouldn’t accidentally wake her up with the sound of his tools.
To think he used to despise them just for being organic. He couldn’t imagine functioning without them anymore. He adored his little family. They gave him purpose- moreso than the other of his kind would.
On the sixth day- his anniversary- he called Alana. His gift was packaged in the pretty paper that humans liked to use for presents. He made sure to clean up from his near week of work, making himself look presentable. Alana picked up after a minute.
“Rosta? You normally don’t call until Maddie’s bedtime.” Rosta hummed slightly, a small smile on his faceplate.
“I am finally finished, so I’m coming home. Is Maddie home?” The faint sound of a knife can be heard, meaning Alana must be making food. She let out a small sigh, but Rosta could hear the smile in her voice.
“No, she’s staying with Sammy for the day- maybe the night. Why?” Rosta thanked any and every deity out there for this coincidence.
“Make sure she’s staying for the night.” Rosta’s voice grew low. The knife noise stopped, and Rosta can imagine her face growing red. She let out a shy laugh.
“Let, uh… let me call Addy then,” she muttered, giving him a little goodbye before hanging up to call Sammy’s mother. Rosta laughed to himself. It was so easy to fluster his little human.
Rosta finally returned to the apartment he shared with Alana and her daughter, Maddie. As promised, Maddie was nowhere to be seen when he entered their home. Good.
Alana was found in the dining room, eating a salad as a late lunch. As soon as she saw him, however, her food was forgotten. She wiped her mouth and immediately came over to his side. Her arms went around his waist, and all four of his slid around her in return.
“Happy anniversary,” he muttered, pulling out the wrapped package. He didn’t want to wait- not after working nonstop for days. Alana reeled back a little, surprised. Rosta placed the gift in her hands, seeing her shift anxiously.
“Oh, you didn’t have to get me anything-.” “Just open it.” He knew they’d be here for a while if they “argued” back and forth about it. Alana huffed, setting the package down on the table to unwrap it. She stared at the disc, confused, before Rosta reached down to activate it.
Soft music began to play, and the holographic display activated. Various pictures played out in a slow slideshow. All of the pictures had Alana in them, some with Maddie. A small few had him and Alana or all three of them in the images. Most of the pictures were taken straight from his memory, so the ones with him included are few and far between.
“I may have fibbed a bit, when I said I was working on the data nodes,” he muttered, pressing a hand to the small of her back. “I had… forgotten our anniversary, and Eve was kind enough to put me in my place about it. I have… spent the last week making this. For you.” Alana stayed still for a moment, just watching the images in front of her.
Slowly, she looked up at her boyfriend. Her eyes were wide, and he could see the tears forming. Not that her crying was an uncommon occurrence- he had expected this. He let out an amused huff, pulling her into another embrace. She gave a weak slap to his chest.
“Could’ve just said so, jackass- I was worried,” she said, giving a watery laugh at the end. Rosta was relieved that she wasn’t truly upset.
“Oh- I need to go get your gift, hold on,” Alana finally muttered, moving away from him. Reluctantly, he let her go and turned off her gift. The AI followed her into their shared bedroom, where he placed the device on her bedside table. Alana began digging around in their closet- really, it was her closet. He barely had any clothes that she didn’t get him, and rarely wore them at home anyway.
“It… isn’t much in comparison, but…” She trailed off, handing him a heavy box. Rosta opened it, smiling slightly when he saw the new tool set. He wasn’t someone that wanted many things, so no doubt Alana agonized over this gift. If he knew her well enough, she probably felt bad about it.
“Thank you, Alana- I’ve been needing new equipment.” He set the tool kit down on the dresser, pulling her toward him for a kiss. She smiled into it, placing her hands on his metallic cheeks. Rosta let out a pleased noise.
He wrapped his second set of arms around her, picking her up with ease. Alana yelped a little into the kiss, breaking it with a small smack to his chest. His smirk turned mischievous and Alana huffed.
“I wish you’d stop doing that,” she grumbled as he carried her to the bed. He chuckled slightly.
“But seeing you get so flustered is my favorite part,” he mumbled, pressing kisses to her jaw. She sighed, both out of amusement and pleasure, as she leaned her head over.
“You’re terrible, you know that,” she laughed. He smiled slightly as he sat down. He placed her in his lap, allowing her to shift so she was straddling his legs. She unbuttoned his shirt, sliding her hands into the fabric to rub his chest. His fans began to whirr in response. Alana smiled.
“You know, I missed you a lot while you were gone,” she hummed, leaning in to kiss his neck and drag her nails lightly along the metal of his chest. He shuddered in response, making her smile. Alana nudged him back. Realistically, she couldn’t make him do shit. She was always thankful when he obliged her requests. Like now.
She moved, giving him a hint to take his clothes off. She smiled as she removed her own clothing, hearing his fans grow louder. Her bed is going to be scorching when they’re done, but that was fine.
Alana crawled up the bed, spreading his legs a bit as she went. Rosta watched her intently, his dick sliding out of its’ plating. She hummed slightly as she leaned down. He tried to protest, but she wasn’t about to listen to him.
Her tongue slid up the length, making him let out a soft groan. Her hand rubbed the base of his shaft slowly, tongue circling the head before taking it into her mouth. Rosta reached down to hold her head, letting out a small noise. She couldn’t help but smile.
He was always weak to a good blowjob.
Alana bobbed her head, slowly moving down the shaft as she did. Her other hand slid up, rubbing along his side and up to his chest. Hard, unforgiving metal that could crush her in a second. And he was sitting there letting her do what she wanted to him. Sometimes that idea really stuck with her in a fun way.
She hummed softly, making Rosta groan in response. She twisted her wrist a bit as she pumped her hand along his dick.
“Alana…” His voice came out in a rumble, the barest hints of glitching present in his speech. Oh, he was so easy to unravel. He hated to admit it, but he was. She couldn’t help but let out a little amused noise.
She took more of him in, causing a strangled groan to leave his voice box. One of his hands went to grab her own, which she gladly held in return. She loved this side of him- the vulnerable side that he rarely showed.
Alana hollowed her cheeks, speeding up as she heard his tell-tale staticy moan. She squeezed the base, as well as his hand, as if silently telling him to let go. Not that he really needed to be told directly. He pushed her head down, her hand quickly going to his hip. With a needy groan, Rosta’s hips jerked as he came. Right now, he didn’t really have anything that would come out of him during this. Alana didn’t have to worry about choking on anything, at least.
She helped him ride it out, slowly pulling off of him when he was finished. She coughed slightly, clearing her throat as she sat up. Immediately, Rosta’s hands went to her hips.
“You are a menace,” he muttered. She gave him a coy laugh in response, leaning down to kiss him. His hand tangled into her hair, holding her close. His extra hands grabbed at her, startling her. He released her head as she drew back. Alana gave a yelp as he all but dragged her up towards his face. She held onto his metal horns, letting out a surprised moan when his tongue dragged along her slit. She felt him smile.
“Happy anniversary, my dear human.”
