In Romanian, one of the variations of "go fuck yourself" (yes there's multiple) is transliterated into "Go into the devil"

So technically speaking you can send someone to the devil and then they run away and they bump into his dad which is probably god so now they gotta deal with him and his army of angels which is 100% a worse fate that you caused

Wool & lana

The word lana (wool) in languages such as Spanish is etymologically related to English wool. For words to be related, they don't have to look like each other. Instead, you have to be able to trace them back to the same ancestor through regular sound changes - and that's what linguists managed to do with wool and lana. This Romanian cub has got problems. Working part-time as a security guard, he obviously doesn't earn enough money, so he started off a side project on CB. The only problem was his shape.

He has a nice, round fat belly, and weighing around 100 kilos, he is feeling the pressure to hit the gym and grow some muscles. He has a big appetite, and his literal dream is to find a sugarmommy or sugardaddy to soothe his seemingly insatiable appetite.

As he started noticing that quite a few of his viewers don't mind his belly, let alone support paying him extra for a nice, filling meal, he decided to start going with the flow and letting his belly grow.

He is a really nice guy, a good chat, and a hungry mouth.

Sí, oui, òc!

Italian sì, Spanish sí, Portuguese sim and many more Romance words for 'yes' come from Latin sīc, which meant 'so; thus; like that'. In Popular Latin it got an extra meaning: 'yes', born out of the sense 'like that', i.e. 'like you said'.

French oui has a completely different origin. It comes from Old French oïl, a univerbation of o il, literally 'yes, it (is/does/has etc.)'.

O stemmed from Latin hoc (this), which became òc (yes) in Occitan, a group of languages whose name was derived from this very word.
