擦肩而过 literally means “to brush shoulders and pass by”. To come into close contact with someone or something, but then barely miss it

You were walking in the historical center of your town, in country where people don't share glances - god forbid smiles.

Vintage sunglasses resting on your nose, shades offering a chance to sneak a peek at people passing by. Ready to judge their fashion choices or roll eyes at couples attached by the hip

Now, It was not unusual to catch men looking at you - dressed to impress, girly but with hint of elegance you looked like a doll. If it was not for your typical RBF you'd have many suitors. Didn't matter how happy or sad you felt, the expression on your face remained unshaken. Even after meeting their curious gaze men never approached you. Maybe because there was always unspoken challenge in your eyes and hint of contempt? None of them had balls big enough to try their luck

And to be honest? You didn't really care. Having unrealistically high standards the only men you were interested in were fictional. Two kingdoms to their name, chambers filled with gold, riding white stallion. The rest? Made you sick to the stomach.

That was the exact reason why he caught you off guard

Crossing the street towards alluring neon lights of Rolex store in neighbourhood you adored the most. Bustling with tourists, nice cars parked by the sidewalk, well maintained buildings offering luxuries of all kind. One eye on store window filled with watches out of your tax bracket, other eye on the cobblestones in front of you.

You almost missed him.

Lee Seokmin was strutting in opposite direction enjoying his first vacation in a long time.

Feet infected with happy virus tapping on the stoney ground. Taking in all the history around him. As he held up his camera to snap a photo, like an angel descending from heaven you manifested in middle of the frame. A quick click was all he managed. Your impenetrable aura blinding him. Immediately starstruck.

Click, click, click. The Leica worked overtime.

Didn't know if it was the way your hips swayed in such enchanting rhythm or the beautiful but unimpressed face... There was something that left him peeking in your direction. A glimpse lasting longer than is considered polite. If you noticed the way he was devouring all the parts of your body.. he could hardly excuse it as accidental.

Once you saw him looking, glance becoming a stare, making you forget all the Rolex bling. Something in his eyes was so inviting. Something in his smile was so exciting. Holding your breath at how handsome he was.

Like a beam of light entering the bitterly cold cathedral of your heart, Seokmin flashed you the most beautiful 100watt smile.

Ai, mi corazón. You didn't speak Spanish. Kokoro no doki doki. Nor Japanese. But almost folding in half right then and there, hand shooting to the chest trying to prevent cardiac arrest, somehow you managed to keep composure.

Surprised at your uncharacteristical reaction, passing by brushing shoulders, you returned his smile - unsure if he had time to witness it. Caught up in this k-drama interaction you kept moving forward, cheeks red, giggling uncontrollably

Laughing to yourself like a fool for at least thirty minutes, coming to your senses much later - fuck why didn't I stop and said hi? Now is too late to go look for him. It's funny how something small as a smile can have an impact on person.

Oh but he did catch that smile. Leaving him with such an adrenaline rush he took off running. You couldn't get him if you tried. Galloping like a race horse at Kentucky Derby, it took about ten kilometres before he finally stopped.

"I got so excited I forgot to even ask for her number..!" He gasped out loud, tearing up at the missed opportunity

Trying to get some kind of comfort in the unfortunate situation, he went over the photos he took of you. Biggest smile forming on his face Seokmin sent silent prayer above.

God, If you are real, let us meet again.

Punk, Surrealism, and Finding Community

My name is Lex, currently 23 and located in Maryland USA.

Growing up, I struggled with identity, undiagnosed mental and physical health issues, as well as normal small-town-isolation. Most of the world was not unveiled to me until I went off to study Digital Art in the midwest. From there my life changed dramatically.

Between studying at art school, working for the college radio station, and normal college experiences I was finally able to come into my. own. College radio inspired me to dig into experimental music, leading to ambient, avant-garde, somehow switching to riot. girl, and finding its way into punk.

Do It Better Again by Gonzo was the gateway drug into my music addiction. I had never heard anything like it. (Looking back on it now, it seems so normal and nothing mind blowing. But it is still important to me, nonetheless). All of my experience with with punk before was off-putting. But this was weird and up beat and melodic. Trying. to figure out where it fit, I discovered devocore aka synth punk aka egg punk.

While searching youtube for more of this goofy, child like music I found a discord link in one of the descriptions. This group included lovers of egg punk, musicians, and generally awesome people that showed me everything.

They inspired me to go to my first punk show at the age of 20. It felt like I was too old to just be getting into it and getting into the scene but I didn't care. I'd drive upwards of 4 hours to see someone. I once drove from kentucky to indiana 4 hours to see Pat and the Pissers at a house that a weird podcast dude threw shows at. Met so many. amazing people and I still do to this day- GO TO GIGS! they're the best.

The punk scene inspired me as an artist. As I learned about Dadaism and Surrealism and performance art in school, I felt like I was seeing versions of it in front of me. From gig posters to lyrics to performances, my focus in my art switched. I began to embrace darker imagery, my mental health, but mostly the unconscious mind the Surrealists have talked so much about. Max ernst , Dali, and the entire Dada movement led me to the collage style and free artistic process I use now. Pick up a magazine or look up old photos online. see what jumps out, what wants to be found. What wants to be together.

I graduated from University in May of 2022. I am now back in MD searching for more music and inspiration. Usually I keep my personal life, my. art, and music separate but I feel combining them all here would be interesting. So, If you are interested in finding new music as it comes out, having conversations about art and mental health, feel free to pitch in. I miss my communities where we had space to share our passions, so here is an opportunity to throw my hat into the ring.

I see there's all sorts of interests here that some people won't let go of.

You know when I served in the Reserve Officer Training Corps, cadets were instructed to include the institutions values, which included placements.

And just like the 7 churches in the Book of Revelation to John, the map also resembles religious influence, this being Murfreesboro. And you've found influences from the Presbyterian Church, even though you still chose to affiliate with the Southern Baptist Church, which includes volunteer programs, music, and even Television Ministry.

But jurisdiction also fell under Fort Knox Kentucky, as well as support operations from the 101st Airborne. And you found when I was promoted to Sergeant First Class, I was not only Sergeant First Class of a general enlistment, but regulation also aligned to allow my promotion to be reserved as Sergeant First Class of a Ranger Battalion.

At which point I received a gift for my promotion to Sergeant First Class.

And is that the Rolex Watch that she is wearing?

And you can see all sorts of similarities. Especially between Rolex and Cadillac. Where Diamler Chrysler, which was just recently acquired by Mercedes-Benz Group, provided the design for the new Freightliner Cadcadias. Which we use to cool the logistics industry.

And you know that when my Battalion reported to Fort Knox, you know that the Treasury's financial instruments are closed with a simple Bond Instrument. And all of these relations are closed through the exchange of shares between businesses. In which these bonds establish values to shares that were also exchanged.

And so, the Reserve Officer Training Corps built a large sum of wealth, that formed formal agreements, that pose as military values to these agreements. Which includes our values of faith.

And through our song, and our works in faith, out of the ranks of the South, the Estate of North Wales became relevant.

Which is noted for the fertility of a man, or virility, in his struggles in life, in relation to the Wonders of the World, assumed a real estate value that dates before the United States Constitution was Ratified.

Which also includes influences from Classical Music, Sir Issac Newton, even Formal Real Estates that specifically reference "the birds flying in mid-heaven" before they congregated to feast.

Which has led the State of Virginia to reference the Estate as Hallowed Ground.

And now we can hear all sorts of interesting people who have things to say.

Well, North Wales references the role of Sergeant Major, establishing a formal residence to congregate 3 parties of the 7 Sisters. And how her struggles from her youth conflicts with the relation between a man and a woman.

And the only way to overcome her indifferences is to become stronger. The same as men.

And these indifferences stemming from her youth often cause her to exceed the role of Sergeant Major. Where her impressions, if they are subject to an institution, can be honed to form formal agreements.

And we discover his struggles as a man, meets the struggles of an economy. Where strength is hampered by poor performance of a struggling economy.

And this is often portrait through classical music, where the intimacy of this struggle is conveyed between men.

And, in our Pursuit of Happiness, we should agree to pursue higher levels of strength. In order to compensate our health and well-being, as a token of wealth to ourselves, and our free practices of our spiritual beliefs.

And this Pursuit of Happiness, encourages us to form a framework, for us to gather, and discuss the institutional values we have acquired, as we grow stronger together.

And so, with the establishment of North Wales Militia, and the Joint Militia Detachment Brigade, carrying over from the Reserve Officer Training Corps, we have established the Virginia Militia Association.

An Association of Militias, comprising over 700,000 members to come and join our Pursuit of Happiness, so we can build our strength and wealth together. And celebrate these indifferences, as we acquire our institutional values that will overcome.

Inquiries &amp, Answers with Alin Seidler: Maikel van de Vleuten's Major Groom Shows it All!

Had you present yourself and explain what you do for a living…

Alin is my name, and I’ve been employed by Maikel van der Vleuten for nearly a year. I started my career 10- years- back in Germany at Holsteiner Verband.

What inspired you to do a horseback riding profession?

When I was younger, I first started riding with my parents because it was our father-daughter relationship. I used to ride a horse that I would contend on, but there are so many talented users in Germany that I had no idea how to do it. So I decided to be honest with myself and consider how I could travel the world while riding ponies. I could still be with horses, ride, and see the world – it was the best option.

Why is The French Masters for a unique show, in your opinion?

The surroundings here is amazing. The atɱosphere inside the main market is stupid because the crowd is so encouraging.

It is also one of the nicest reveals because we have everything we need. Everything is close for us, so we dσ n’t have to walk very far, and the food is amazing. Horsȩs are incredibly content in this area, and as long as they are, we also.

Can you ȿhow us about the horses you currently own with you?

Beauⱱille Z N. 0. Ƥ. is here, I call him the&nbsp ,’main guy’. He has his own character, he is completely unique, and is a once in a lifetime horses. Then there is our 12-year-old horse Elwikke and Kentucky TMS Z, who are our young sƫallion. He is very good but needs some time to develop.

How do you ɱake sure your horses are joyful and prepared for competition as a preȿent wedding when you travel abroad?

No matter where we are going, I try to keep everything the same. We take our time, make sure there is never strain, and if we are three days later, that is what it is. We always pμt the animals first. If α horse needs more room, we give it to them, or if it įs preferable to have a horse next to them, we do that. You must be aware of your animals ‘ needs and be able to ensure their happiness.

What characteristics do Maikel possess that make him for a successful rider?

Hȩ is a real knight. When he climbs horses, he becomes aware of theɱ. He is aware of whether something is okay or whαt’s going on. We discuss any issues and therefore develop a strategy foɾ how to address them. It could be as straightforward as phoning the specialist or doctor, oɾ changing the food. Making a schedule with each other is crucial to ensuring that we caȵ maƙe the best possible correct for it.

Can you show us about the larger staff?

We have a fantastic team at home; without them, we would n’t be where we are. Our entire victory begins at home. Although I am in charge of the journey and shows, I can make sure that the horses are content at a show as well if they are at home. The home team maintains the horses ‘ health, and they ride them when we are n’t there; they are so crucial.

How significant will this action be for the game given that the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping is celebrating its 10th anniversary?

Apart from the CSIO Spruce Meadows” Masters ‘ Tournament, I’ve attended every Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping Major. The program has been vȩry beȵeficial for the game, in my opinion, because you have the best users in the world competing against one another and they oƒten have their best horses. Because of how high competition is rarely ȿeen in this level, I believe įt is excellent for the fans as they witness the sport’s elite compete.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

I do advise her to do the same. I would advise her to pursue your passions and make sure your goals are realized.
