Hi Chris,

Things are going very well, actually - we made a lot of progress in the past few months. But you're right, the project simply cannot move forward in any way during the strike. I will not render any writing services until the strike is over, and that means development cannot continue on the series at the moment.

In the meantime, I'll be on the picket lines, and will be shooting my adaptation of Stephen King's Life of Chuck later this year (that's an independent project that was written before the strike began.)

But I am very excited to pick things up with The Dark Tower as soon as I'm able. We found the path of the beam earlier this year, and have been steadily working toward making the show a reality. I'm very confident, while the strike will delay it, that it's going to happen... and it is going to be extraordinary.

Ein kleiner #bookstagram Beitrag an diesem Mittwoch Abend. Nachdem ich lange damit beschäftigt war, hab ich den vierten Teil der Saga nun endlich beendet. Ein grandioses Werk und meiner Meinung nach ein Muss für Fantasy Fans beziehungsweise King Fans. Der Werdegang des jungen Revolvermannes Roland ist so mitreißend geschrieben, man versinkt förmlich in der Geschichte und sie kurbelt das Kopfkino ordentlich an. Wie King schreibt ist einfach unbeschreiblich und sucht seinesgleichen. Obwohl ich mit dem Vorgänger Tod so meine Mühen hatte, war ich hier richtig gefangen und von Anfang an hat mich die Geschichte abgeholt.
