Vlad's Therapy Game - Part 3 (There is a Poll below) Vlad is still playtesting. And while he took a walk through the village and admired Tiny Can's work, it slowly went dark, the stands closed and the folks went to the Lion's Pride Inn.

He heard the music from the inside. 'The Dublin Pub Crawl' by The Irish Rovers was playing.

'We all went in to Kitty McGee's for we're a jolly crew We all went in to Kitty McGee's to have a drink or two Kitty McGee's, in Dublin town upon the crawl A hell of a time was had by all, down where the beer and whiskey flew'

He had nowhere to go and so he went in. Maybe someone takes pity on him and gives him some food? He already felt a bit weak on his legs. And his job at the sculptor only started early next morning... There are so many known faces here! Ms. Coombes, their former teacher, Travis (Jeb and Ji Ho's Roadie) and Uncle Stefan, who raised Jack. But they are just NPCs Tiny Can created and none of them recognized him.

As soon as Gia, the bartender, saw Vlad, she stopped him. Gia: "I'm sorry. You can't enter as long as your status is unclear. Go to the castle after you got paid tomorrow and ask for an audience to talk to the Queen about your status. You can sleep in the shack behind the Inn and I'll care for your horse after my shift. But that's all I can do for you."

And so Vlad went over to the shack...still hungry. Let's hope Diablo finds a better place for the night. At least he can eat some grass and would't have to go to sleep hungry. And then this cute - but somehow really delicious looking bunny approached Vlad... should he...? It's just a game. But the thought of eating a bunny makes him uncomfortable. He does eat meat, but killing the animal himself is a whole different thing. But he's so hungry. And he'll have to survive the night and the next day working before he gets paid...

Vlad tried to escape this situation by going to (try to) sleep. But when he stood up and stepped inside the shack, he saw stars and almost fell unconscious. He has no choice...

In the meantime, Gia was caring for Diablo. The way she looks at him. Is she having the same thoughts about Diablo as Vlad has about the bunny? Ö.ö'

Phew. She finally leaves the stable. But Diablo decides it's better to stay awake and alert. No one will eat him. No matter how 'useless' they think he is!

Gia: "You weren't about to eat that bunny, were you?" Vlad: "Uhm..."

Gia: "You really must be very hungry then." And she gave him a plasma fruit! A HFN for Vlad and the bunny ^^'

This will help him (and the bunny) to survive the night and the next day. After he had the plasma fruit (that really tasted like a real one outside of the game), he lay on the straw in the shack and pondered about his ingame experiences so far. Even though many events here were upsetting and annoying, they still were managable and there had been no moment where he wanted to scream 'OUT!'. So Tiny Can improved a lot. And of course the Therapy Game will be annoying and hard. They all know that. Therapy is no rose garden after all and as far as he can speak for the others, they are determined to change their lives for the better and are willing to work hard for it. And he will help them by testing this game and make sure it's safe for them. He decided to playtest also the following day and then report back to Saiwa. And then he fell asleep under the stars that shone through the missing shingles of the shack and the bunny watched over his sleep...

TMI: Even though Vlad got killed by the Killer Bunny once, he isn't resentful. Vlad's sweet memories with Bunnies: on their trip to Henford and at Beltane.

The situation with hungry Vlad and the bunny reminds me of some quests in games that gave me a hard time. There was one in World of Warcraft where I had to use torture on a prisioner to get information. It's many years ago. I did it but I still feel uncomfortable about this. Killing when I get attacked ingame is ok for me, but this - I don't know. I play computer games for over 40 years now and I am still not dulled ^^' Do other players even have such thoughts? It's also very different from other games because the Boys act as themselves and it really feels like they are a part of their ingame surroundings.

Though Roberto Cavalli has always been one of my favorite brands for their amazing texturing and intricate design, I've always had a personal dislike for their menswear lines, but this specific one has been a favorite of mine since it released. — Roberto Cavalli Menswear Fall 2021

From the shades and colors, to the prints, models and jewelry, this black and gold oriented menswear line truly is one of my favorites.

Another favorite in the detailing being the animal depictions in the clothing. This detail on the pure black truthfully has a very Balmain reminiscent look to it and I love it so much that a connection like that can be made yet still be such an original collection.

The conceptual aspect behind the line, in my opinion truly was the bringing together of the piece. The atmosphere of the shoot has such a sleekness and ferocity to it, from the perfect detailing to the added insinuation of a fierce pose and strut with the animal references to top it off. A beautiful line by Cavalli that I'd love to personally have pieces from in my own closet one day.

Fox surveyed the café over the rim of her hot chocolate. The only reason she was even attending this meeting was because she’d been asked nicely, and it had been a while since anyone had given her the curtesy of choice. She was more than aware of Lion in a nearby booth, a reminder of all that had happened, of everything she’d done for herself. A reminder that she could survive anything thrown at her.

‘Damn.’

Slowly, Fox lowered her mug and looked at the young man now standing at the edge of her table. His light hair was slightly dishevelled, as if he’d run there or spent minutes pacing, dragging a hand through his hair as he weighed up his options. There was no way of knowing, but realistically it didn’t matter.

The young man’s hand jumped nervously to the back of his head, shattering the unknown in an instant. ‘You are –?’

‘Yep,’ she said, leaning one elbow on the table. ‘Robbo?’

He nodded, almost excitedly, as his hand dropped to his side. ‘D’you know you’ve got –’

‘Dad’s eyes,’ she said, voice slightly flatter than she’d expected. It was a comment Fox was used to hearing, but now it was tinged ever so slightly with sadness as the last memory of her father tried to surface once more. ‘Surprised you remember that.’

A small smile flashed across his face. ‘I didn’t think you’d remember me,’ he said, awkwardly dropping into the seat opposite. ‘Thought after… Um…’

‘After The Centre tried to remove all my memories and make me one of their little soldiers?’ She asked the question mildly, but even she could hear the bitterness behind her voice.

Robbo flinched ever so slightly. The fact there was hope burning in his eyes, the promise that one day it’d all be a terrible nightmare, assured her that he hadn’t been through The Centre. That this first step of returning to normality was the promise of things getting a lot better, the promise of time being a healer. Of course it had touched him, but not in the same way as she saw with all of the Chosens. Too much had been taken from them; the shadows still clung and they would for some time to come.

‘Predisposed that it didn’t work too well, or the reversal worked really well,’ she admitted with a casual shrug. ‘Why now?’

Robbo’s attention shifted to his hands, he toyed with his fingers. Fox glanced briefly to Lion. He was watching them openly, earning the attention of a scowling man who was barely staying in place due to a curly haired laptop watching younger man sitting in his way. Opposite them sat a red haired woman she easily recognised: Sophia.

Realisation dawned on her, and she glanced back to Robbo. ‘People say there’s no honour amongst thieves. That’s not strictly true, is it?’

‘Dad made a promise.’

‘As did D.C.I. Snaily,’ Fox countered quickly. ‘Only one of them was there when it mattered.’

Panic crossed Robbo’s face, and Fox wondered how he’d ever coped with Laverna family business. ‘He tried. We tried,’ he defended, and Fox could tell he was fighting the urge to look back at the other three. To seek assistance when he probably assumed he was meant to be alone. It wasn’t something she’d made him promise, she’d known that he’d come with people.

She shot him a small smile. ‘Thanks,’ she said diffidently. ‘But I think your dad’s OK. I don’t need the Lavernas, and when dad made that deal I don’t think he saw any of this happening.’ She stood up, caught sight of Lion doing the same. ‘I’ve got my own family.’

Robbo scrambled to stand; she could see the argument building behind his eyes and waved away his concern.

She felt the familiar presence of Lion just behind her. ‘But we’re friends still,’ she vowed. ‘I won’t forget that you tried. All of you.’ She glanced briefly at Sophia’s table, nodded and was glad to get a small smile in return. ‘But I gotta do my own thing.’ She smiled at Robbo before leaving with Lion, feeling good about her own decision for the first time in a long time.

HMMMM nice question!! let's see, at the top of my head:

multiple playable characters could be fun. since it's gonna be OZ related it could be interesting to play both as P and Dorothy, even if i do believe we're gonna focus on P again and have Dorothy as a key character similar to Sophia instead

the first game focused heavily on technology, both with the settings and P's Legion ability, so i think it could be nice to lean more on the magical this time around. like the first one had the coin tree, the whole situation with P and Sophia and whatever the fuck was going on with Ergo, and the balance felt like 70% technology and 30% magic; it could be nice to have the opposite with Liesofpfied Land Of Oz, with Legion arms leaning on the magical but still focusing on technology (yknow. considering that Pinocchio is a "what if in this semi-normal world there was suddenly magic" story and Oz is a "in this magical world the Big Brother is, in fact, someone who isn't magical at all"???? yea)

same goes for the areas. Lies of P did something similar to Bloodborne, going from overall fucked up yet "everyday" areas - a town, a forest, a church - and then suddenly an earthquake happens or you kill a spider and you end up in Collapsing Krat or Yahar'Gul; i hope the sequel does the opposite, going from magical areas to something much more mechanical in a way??? similar ot the first chapter of Madness Returns, where you go from the Vale of Tears to the Hatter's Domain. for the uninitiated:

so far the ideas around giangio is that he's supposed to be our Scarecrow or Lion, but I think it's more likely to be one of the Witches. yknow. With Paracelsus being an alchemist and all

idk if i want the Scarecrow and the Lion to be your friends or your enemies but I know it would be interesting to have more female characters actually. Like I want to see the witches!!!!!

Again leaning more on the less known things in the original story. idk much about Oz, but since they literally had the Parrot and a shoutout to Roberto Benigni I'm sure Neowiz will do its research

aaaand again i'd love to see more stories/fairytales sprinkled in. Belle and Atkinson felt like a shoutout to Beauty and the Beast for example, but i actually had to google his name so they didn't really leave that much of an impression fansg idk nothing too big, but a little sidequest featuring characters from another story could be interesting

odd to say but. i hope it's a blank slate and we don't return to Carlo's story. i feel like P's quest to become his own person separated to Carlo is done, i think they could focus more on him getting used to be a human!! that'd be fun!!!!!!!!!

and also. bonus points what I wish for the DLC i can't believe they didn't put the Snail Lady in Lies of P and i hope she's gonna show up in the DLC.............
