continuing the trend of right on time specific headcanons because it's easier to work with modern times

What is the character’s go-to drink order? for alcohol it's michelob golden, a beer produced specifically in the midwest. for coffee he drinks it black.

What is their grooming routine? showers with Irish Spring 3-in-1. some sort of Sport Gel deodorant. he used to shave every morning but jay accidentally let on that he liked him with a beard so now he doesn't have to shave.

What was their most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go? Nick ain't buyin a damn thing. He's a trophy (future) husband fully and happily reliant on Jay's money. It used to be eating out, though, because he can't cook ramen.

Do they have any scars or tattoos? No scars, no tattoos. He's secretly a little judgy about tattoos actually, on a very subconscious level

What was the last time they cried, and under what circumstances? Probably age 4 or 5. He can't remember what it was about, but he hasn't really cried since.

Are they an oldest, middle, youngest or only child? He's an only child, an only son, the only way for the Carraway name to continue on. So naturally he's gay

Describe the shoes they’re wearing. If they're not going out or on camera, he's wearing the same worn out Chucks he's had since college. They're his go-to.

Describe the place where they sleep. He sleeps with Jay, of course, so the bedroom (kind of like Daisy's) is preserved in a state of almost...expectation of observation. It's meticulously devoid of most personal effects but of course there's the photo of Dan Cody on the wall, which Nick has never let himself think too hard about.

What is their favorite holiday? Nick canonically loves Christmas. I think it pays tribute to his pseudo-religious upbringing (pseudo in that it integrated itself into every bit of his life but he doesn't go to church anymore) and it being the only time of year where the family seemed happy.

What objects do they always carry around with them? Nick is useless and would not survive on the side of the road with a flat tire. He's got, like, a dead cellphone and a credit card Jay gave him. Pocket lint. He does have notes scribbled on the back of his hand, though.

I need to rant for a second.

I'm not clicking on it so I have no idea what the article says, but I'm so fucking sick of seeing articles like this. I'm the youngest millennial given my birth year. I'm never going to be able to afford to live outside of my parent's house, I will never be able to afford a surgery I need to not live in pain every goddamn day, I will never be able to afford a car on my own. I can barely afford to live now.

And my life is still better than so many others. SO many others. I can still afford to eat. I can pay for the gas in a car that doesn't belong to me. I have clothing. I am as safe as I possibly can be.

Why the fuck does anyone anywhere think I give a flying fuck about a retirement I'm never going to be able to have?

The world is burning, children are being massacred in multiple genocides, we are living in the middle of a financial and political crisis, and getting through the day is hard. I have never felt more helpless and useless and like what's the fucking point in my entire life. And these algorithms think I care about my retirement???

What is the character’s go-to drink order? For alcohol it's a mint julep (obviously.) and for coffee she doesn't drink coffee. she gets like a peach green tea or something.

What is their grooming routine? Literally just go watch her tiktoks to find out........just kidding. She does have like a 27-step skincare routine and she's sponsored by this all-natural haircare brand so she does use their products religiously (along with like. five hundred dollar scalp treatments and stuff like that.) She used to get everything waxed regularly but now all she waxes is her face (eyebrows, lip, chin, etc) because she's still insecure about it after You Know Fucking Who. What was their most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go? Maintaining an Old Money Mommy Blogger aesthetic costs a fucking LOT. She gets matchy outfits with Pammy and has a specific playroom just for filming in. And it's beige. Pammy lives in beige hell.

Do they have any scars or tattoos? She and Jay may possibly have matching tattoos. They're tee-tiny and well hidden. She has a J kind of tucked up under her right boob, closer to the side of her torso and usually well-hidden by a bra or bathing suit.

What was the last time they cried, and under what circumstances? Daisy cries pretty much every night after Pammy goes to bed. She's going through a lot right now between the divorce and the crisis of having killed someone.

Are they an oldest, middle, youngest or only child? She is an only child and her daddy's favorite girl. Her mom does not like having competition.

Describe the shoes they’re wearing. Dwarves All Leather Ballet Flats with Bow Square Toe in black.

Describe the place where they sleep. Her bedroom like the rest of her house is kept in a state of camera-readiness, almost to the point where she doesn't like sleeping there. She usually sleeps on the couch, curled up with some super uber 'healthy' snack food that she fell asleep eating. Not that anyone will ever know.

What is their favorite holiday? She loves the fourth of July, actually. She used to love standing on her balcony back in Louisville and watching the crazy neighbor across the street spend 25k on fireworks.

What objects do they always carry around with them? She always has her phone, Bobbi Brown lip gloss in the color “Force of Nature”, and a notebook and a little golden pencil. Also a spare hairclaw, a bag of veggie straws for Pammy, all her credit cards, Wellys-brand bandaids, tissues, wet wipes, a tide pen...she's a tote bag girlie.
