enjoy the vintage-style paranoia and existential sadness!

I wanted it to be death

that sweet twist of flesh fleeting into firelight and

tourists cleaning empty hallways

because when the wild nights are over, they don't warn you about the

inevitable hollow

and sometimes the only thing that helps

is scrubbing scrubbing cleaning breaking fingernails scouring tearing

rebuilding.

I like that capital letters

fall short and still rise that

they show up at the front of words you don't remember typing

and sometimes they're safety catches, keeping everything from falling out the sidE.

You're a pattern I could

trace with my fingertips and the

concept of wanting something especially because it's hard

keeps asking to be asked again and again

and I get to watch you.

And by the time I've gotten home

I'd like for the only thing that could separate us

to be death.

And for the quiet halls we're reborn into to

burst into firelight.

The first DVD release of Cinematic Titanic occured at midnight on December 21, 2007 at midnight. Cinematic Titanic was created by Mystery Science Theater 3000 creator Joel Hodgson. The project allowed him to continue to riff movies with MST3K alumni Trace Beaulieu, Frank Coniff, Mary Jo Pehl, and J Elvis Weinstein (all of whom protrayed the Mads on MST3K). Besides the produced shows, they also started doing a live touring show where they riffed movies live. The first release was of the Oozing Skull (aka The Brain of Blood). ("The Oozing Skull" Cinematic Titanic Event)

I'm waiting for someone to

look at my moving lips and

the screaming behind my words,

look me in the eye and

tell me that they

hear me.

I don't need false assurance and

well-intentioned advice

or to be shown that my suffering is

matched evenly by accompanying heartbeats.

I just need to know that I am not

lost.

does that make me egocentric or

reflective?

I've decided hypocrisy doesn't really exist.

It's a culmination of

the impossible

sequestered into our need for everything to be

graspable.

But I'm not. And neither are you.

We're measured in moments and every single time we

crumpled and

caught.

I wonder if the worst part of ourselves is the part that's waiting.

For him to read my message.

For me to become the image I've honed into two dimensions and comfortable confinement.

For the end of the day, when I can go home and

unfold.

For someone to look at me and

me to believe them.

For when it all finally stops feeling like too much.

For the moments where I really feel like I have everything exactly where I want it.

I keep waiting for answers to find me.

I think I need to stop waiting

and start moving.
