I got tagged by @ros-sauce to share 10 fun facts about myself and tag 10 other people.
So I’m tagging @azusawa-world, @lesbian-octo8, @hecate-spawn, @yourlocalplant, @ghostychan28, oh gosh idk that many blogs I’m comfortable enough with to just tag out of the blue. Um… @ghostypetrainer, @sketchii21, @kohatoyas, @gory-ghostie-gutz, and @ladylolalilly.
I have around 25 sketch books, some are notebooks I decided I’d draw in and some are actual sketchbooks made for drawing, I have more of the former that the latter, but the fun fact is that I can remember in which book I have a certain drawing stored in, probably because each books is so different in size, cover, and type of paper.
I wasn’t allowed to have caffeine in my soda as a child, but now my mom is trying to get me to drink it because I have narcolepsy and can’t stop falling asleep during the day.
When I was a toddler I almost killed my older brother by pushing him off the bed, he had to get stitches in his head.
I’ve never eaten peanut butter, the reason that I told everyone was that my brother is allergic, but honestly I just don’t like how it smells. I also don’t like jelly so no pb&j for me.
I was the final boss for tether ball at my elementary school, boys from my older brother’s class would challenge me as a test of skill, I mostly won, because I’d use my tallness and bulk to hit the ball extra hard over their heads and just win within thirty seconds of the round starting.
I’ve only gotten in detention once in elementary school, I made a tentacle joke, I don’t even know if I knew what it meant at the time, but it explains my sense of humor now 💀.
As a child, I had littlest pet shop ocs (not of the show, though I was a fan of it but just the little toys) I still have those ocs to this day! Though I’m not sure what to do with them.
I started doodling in fourth grade but never started seriously trying to draw until fifth grade, because I was inspired by a new boy in my class, no I didn’t have a crush on him, I just saw him draw and was like, I want to do that too!
I used to be big into My little pony and Steven universe to the point where all my ocs were at one point ponies and gems, both separately and at the same time. Also su taught me that gay people existed, thanks Steven universe 👍
As a child, I used to be big into crossovers to the point that I had fan children of crossover ships, (well one, it was the child of Asriel Dreemurr and Kotaha Hanami… don’t ask idk how I even came up with that ship in the first place 💀)

Hi ribbon anon! 🎀💕
So Scar is a vex hybrid, which is slightly different than the vex mob itself. Sort of a fusion of the magic vexes utilize into a person. Scar doesn’t know a whole lot about vex hybrids and their origins to be honest. He and Cub grew up away from other vexes and around friendlier folk like the Hermits.
So vexes definitely have a negative connotation. But not on Hermitcraft. This is a new experience for Scar— to be feared and hunted.
Noticeable vex features are pointed ears, spectral wings, and a devilish tail. However, the latter two can be hidden and summoned at will. They’re sort of semi-corporeal, only as physical as the user chooses. Scar can use them to glide, much like an elytra, but they’re not strong enough to straight up fly. However, he can use magic alongside them to sort of hover, which helps a lot with his mobility issues.
But his wings are bright and noticeable. He can’t lean on that and he doesn’t have a cane, so flare ups are inevitable here. And won’t be pretty!
Ange is going to get into it, but Scar’s wings are actually in tatters now due to some unfortunate circumstances. They are capable of pain, and it certainly doesn’t make gliding easy, but it’s truthfully the magic that makes any kind of flight possible, so in theory they are still usable. But ouch.
Other vex features are claws and fangs because why not. Claws can be extended and retracted at will.
I write vex magic to be very emotionally volatile because 1. It’s fun and 2. I think vexes normally operate on primarily negative emotions. Cub, a very reserved person, doesn’t need to worry about that getting out of control. And Scar, a very positive person, doesn’t either.
Until now of course. Positive emotion can make him powerful as well, but in order to survive here, Scar’s going to need to learn how to make use of his negative emotions as well.
When overcome with emotions, Scar’s eyes may shine bright blue or even entirely white. He lashes out at everyone and everything except for Grian, because, luckily, his protective instincts are just as strong as his vex instincts. He can also seemingly rapidly heal in this state, but it leaves intense scarring. Interesting. 🤔
Another thing to consider— vexes, the mob, disappear after a certain time when summoned. I interpret it as using up their allotted magic and vanishing. If a vex hybrid overuses their magic… there can be consequences. :)

Knightfall in Dream Land - Page 6
Meta Knight begins his long fall to Popstar’s surface and passes by some familiar faces on the way down.
#Kirby#Kirby fanart#my art#comic#Meta Knight#Dark Meta Knight#Sailor Dee#Taranza#sorry it took me so long to finish this page but it’s finally done#I hope that the title of the comic makes sense to everyone now#I called it Knightfall in Dream Land because the knight fell into Dream Land lmao#the parts of the comic set in the present are occurring around the time of Return to Dream Land#so the gang hasn’t met Taranza yet and isn’t aware of Floralia’s existence#but since Meta has a long fall to the surface I’d imagine he’d probably crash through Floralia on the way down and pass by the mirror#I tend not to give specific ages/age numbers to Kirby characters in my fanart/fan AU#the first reason for this is that different characters probably age at different rates since they’re different species#and the second reason for this is that I don’t see years between game releases equating to years passing for the characters#I mean just look at Adeleine she’s still a kid in Star Allies even though that was released almost two decades after Crystal Shards lmao#instead of giving characters specific ages I headcanon them as being in certain age ranges#so in the present Kirby Bandee and Sailor are all kids (and Bandee and Sailor are a bit older than Kirby)#I also see characters like Gooey Adeleine and Ribbon as being kids too#while characters like Taranza Susie Magolor Marx and the Mage Sisters are young adults#and characters like Meta Knight Dedede Daroach Captain Vul and Hyness are older adults#but in the parts of the comic set in the past Meta Knight and Dedede are young adults and Taranza is a kid#and Kirby and the Dees are babies#the older spiders shown here with Taranza and Sectonia are OCs of mine who are their mothers#their names are Lady Theraphoza (Taranza’s mom) and Queen Rachnia (Sectonia’s mom)#I’m giving Taranza some backstory since HAL refuses to tell us anything about him except he’s sad about Sectonia lmao#this post has too many tags but maybe I’ll make a separate post with my Spider Lore#Knightfall in Dream Land

Zoo wee mama, a Shane n Farmer Serenity wip!🐔🌌
Tumblr media
Birds Eye view sucks, especially when you don’t have a lot of references to work with 🧍‍♀️
I got a solo piece of Farmer Serenity done, but I didn’t wanna reveal that just yet cuz it’s a surprise! I also plan to include more art n also lore for her intro post so ye
Also, as much as I love Shane, he’s hard to draw. So that’s why my art style of him can be a bit inconsistent 😔

Are Gangle Jax and Ragatha in a poly relationship or was the third an “accident”?

If you’re referring to their children- there’s little to no chance of birthing a child “by accident” -consent is very important in this AU, albeit Dubious at times…

So I should be writing two other posts, but I’ve been inspired to write out a little “Renu’s headcanon Kirby lore” thing about…
Adeleine’s eternal youth
Enjoy
Ribbon wasn’t helping set up for the celebration of the saving of Ripple Star like she knew she should be. She was one of the most important members of fairy society. The Guardian of the Crystal. But she had also been on the entire journey to save the entire universe from destruction, and she needed a break. She looked out of the window of the palace library at the late afternoon scenery. Outside she could see crowds of fairies and some delegates from other planets walking up to a small stage that had been set up for the heroes to give speeches and accept thank-yous on. Ribbon could barely make her out because of how far away the stage was, but she knew she was up there.
Adeleine was the nicest person Ribbon had ever met, and she was so different from everyone else she knew. Adeleine didn’t dress like a girl, and she was tougher than nearly every fairy Ribbon had ever known. She was tall, and could make living paintings. She seemed to be the only member of her kind left. Ribbon sighed as she flipped through the book on lesser known species in the universe. There was nothing about humans in it. She set it down and fluttered back up the shelves. There had to be something. She looked over the titles of books, but didn’t find anything that might have something about humans in it.
“Ribbon? Shouldn’t you be out with your friends?” someone behind her asked, startling her. Ribbon spun around, her wings flittering much faster than normal. Hovering behind her was Velveteen, one of the many fairies that lived in and helped maintain the palace.
“I live here, Vel,” Ribbon said. “Nobody is going to ask me questions.” Velveteen rolled her eyes.
“Ribbon, we all want to know what that battle against Zero Two was like. And you were the only one there besides that overgrown rubber ball!” Velveteen said. Ribbon crossed her arms.
“Don’t call him that, for one,” she said. “His name is Kirby and he’s very nice.” Ribbon looked at the bookshelves beside her and back to Velveteen. “And I’m… also looking for a book. It’s important.” Velveteen perked up.
“What kind of book?” she asked. Ribbon took a deep breath.
“A book with any information at all about humans,” she began. “I met one on this whole journey. She’s possibly the last one there is in the whole universe, but there must have been more of them before. I just need to find out any information on them I can, because she doesn’t really know anything herself.” Velveteen closed her eyes, and then snapped her fingers and pointed at Ribbon.
“Follow me,” she said, flying to the other side of the library. Ribbon followed, watching Velveteen as she flew to a row of dusty looking books that was tucked away into a dimly lit corner. She looked over them, and pulled out a smaller, not very thick book and handed it to Ribbon. She looked at it, wiping some of the dust off the cover.
“‘What are Humans, Anyway?’” Ribbon read off the cover. She looked down at the bottom of the book and gasped. “Queen Ethereal!? How old is this thing?!” Velveteen shrugged.
“A good few millennia,” she said. “But that should have the answers of whatever you’re looking for. Unless it’s about what happened to them. It probably predates the mass extinction.” Ribbon frowned. She wasn’t looking for answers about that, as Shiver Star and Adeleine’s jumpy behavior there was enough to tell her how they all died out.
“Thanks, Vel,” Ribbon said, holding the book close. Velveteen nodded and flew out of the library. Ribbon make her way back over to the small book she had been reading at, and opened the book. She coughed as a cloud of dust billowed up, and blinked rapidly. The table of contents seemed fairly generic, and wasn’t informative at all. Ribbon had heard that Queen Ethereal was empty headed, so she wasn’t surprised about that too much. She flipped through the pages, until she found what she was looking for.
“‘Humans, being a type of large mammal, have very short lifespans,’” she read, her voice cracking as she did. “The typical lifespan of a human seems to be 80 years. They also age very rapidly, which seems to cause this. As such, it’s advised to not get too attached to them.” The dusty old pages of the book quickly became damp as Ribbon weeped. 80 years. That couldn’t be right. It couldn’t be. Adeleine was so full of life. Ribbon shut the book and put it back where it used to be, landing on the edge of the shelf and flicking her wings to kick up some dust so it didn’t look like it was touched. She fluttered back over to the rest of the books she had grabbed and stuffed them back in their spots, wiping tears from her eyes the whole time. She sighed heavily and turned to leave, when the door to the library creaked open slightly.
“Ribbon? Are you still in here?” Ribbon snapped to attention immediately, blinking the tears from her eyes. Queen Ripple carefully walked into the library, closing the door behind her.
“Yes, your majesty,” Ribbon said. Ripple waved a droopy sleeve at her.
“I told you not to call me that,” she said. “I was just looking for you because everyone else is out there, and you… aren’t.” Ribbon shrugged.
“Didn’t feel like it,” she said. Ripple tilted her head, eyeing Ribbon.
“Really now,” Ripple said. “You seem upset.” Ribbon knew she shouldn’t lie to the queen. She sighed, and flew back over to the place she had been sitting, curling up in one of the soft beanbags. She could feel that she was about to cry again. Ripple sat down in a chair across from her.
“I… It’s…” Ribbon stammered, choking on her words. “Adeleine. She… She’s my best friend. She’s so kind and funny and creative. But… But humans only live for 80 years. Eight zero. That’s… That’s not fair!” Ribbon buried her face in the beanbag, sobbing. She wasn’t sure how long she cried for, but after a while, she felt Ripple gently touch her between her wings.
“That’s horrible, Ribbon,” she said. “But you have her now.” Ribbon violently shook her head.
“But I want her to be my friend forever…” Ribbon said shakily, her wings twitching. Ripple tapped her foot and ran her fingers over the sides of her glasses, which were both tells she was nervous or overwhelmed. She brought her hands together, and sparks of silvery-pink magic crackled in the area above them.
“There isn’t really anything we can do,” she said. Ribbon shook her head and sat up.
“Yeah there is,” she said, and Ripple turned to look at her, her massive wings pointing up.
“What would that be?” she asked. Ribbon cleared her throat and fluttered up to be eye level with Ripple.
“You’re magic,” Ribbon said. “All of us fairies are, but you especially. You can probably just make her stop getting older!” Ripple’s eyes widened in shock. She looked at her hands.
“Ribbon, I’m not sure how that would work,” Ripple said. “I don’t even remember I am magic most of the time.” Ribbon looked down in thought.
“How does your magic work?” Ribbon asked. She had never actually seen Ripple do any magic before. Ripple waved her hand in a circle.
“I just think about something happening to an object or person while touching them, and it happens,” she explained. “Also creating small defensive shields or picking up things without needing to touch them. I’m not close to being full grown yet, so obviously my skills are much more limited now.” Ribbon fluttered closer to Ripple, who took a step back.
“So just think about making Adeleine never get any older and live forever,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “Please.” Ribbon was shaking. She knew of one other thing she could try, but she wasn’t willing to risk it unless Ripple stubbornly refused. But she was the Crystal’s guardian and now one of the saviors of the universe, and Ripple was always kind. Ripple nodded.
“Alright,” she said. “When I give them the medals at the ceremony later tonight, I’ll do it.” Ribbon smiled, tears welling up in her eyes, and zipped over to Ripple, hugging her.
“Thank you, Queen Ripple,” she said, crying tears of joy. “Thank you thank you thank you thank you.” She heard Ripple laugh, and then she hugged her back.
“Just Ripple,” she said. Ribbon giggled. She was ecstatic. Adeleine would be okay.
The ceremony was significantly less crowded than what Ribbon had been expecting. All of the people from other planets had left after the initial meeting with the heroes. There were still plenty of fairies though, all of whom understood the importance of ceremonies, especially when crystals were involved as a gift. Ribbon was fluttering around in one of the many halls that led out from the main hall, currently being blocked off by guards with pointy spears made of crystals.
Ribbon peeked out again to see her four friends standing up on the stage, and Ripple behind the stage, taking medals from another fairy who flew off. Ripple looked over and saw Ribbon, and beckoned her over. Ribbon flew over as fast as she could, and hovered beside Ripple. Fanfare played as Ripple began walking up the side stairs, and Ribbon stayed close to her. Ripple presented all of the heroes with a medal. Dedede stuck out his chest as Ripple put his on, and Waddle Dee’s was far too big for him and just fell to the floor. Ripple loosely draped Adeleine’s medal over her, and then put Kirby’s form fitting one on. Ribbon looked nervously at Ripple. She hadn’t done it. She looked over at Kirby, and fluttered up to him, giving him a small kiss as a show of appreciation for all he had done. Kirby didn’t say a word, but blushed deeply and walked across the stage giddily, nearly falling down the stairs.
“Watch out!” Waddle Dee yelled, but Kirby had already tumbled down them. There were a few laughs in the audience. Ribbon looked away bashfully. That was entirely her fault. She looked back over to see Ripple stopping Adeleine from falling after him trying to grab him. She put a hand on Adeleine’s chest close to her heart, and Ribbon saw the sparkles of magic. Adeleine didn’t seem to notice, instead adjusting her medal.
“Now that’s what I call crashing a party,” Dedede said, pointing at Kirby. There was an uproar from the audience, and both Waddle Dee and Adeleine rolled their eyes. Ripple waved both of her hands, her sleeves falling over them as she did.
“Everyone, thank you for attending,” she said. “This is a very special occasion, but I’m sure you’ve all already heard it. Our planet has been freed of Dark Matter, and the rest of the universe saved from it, thanks to these lovely heroes. Including our very own Ribbon!” Everyone cheered, and Ribbon smiled and waved to the crowd. “Now, enough with the thematics. Everyone, make your way to the dining hall for a feast befit for the saviors of the world!” Everyone moved to the hall to the left, with Waddle Dee helping Kirby up, who excitedly ran to the dining hall. Ribbon stayed with Ripple, who followed after everyone else.
“Thank you,” Ribbon said, nearly crying again. Ripple gave her a small smile.
“If it makes you this happy, it couldn’t possibly be bad,” Ripple replied. Ribbon nodded, and flew after her friends. Everyone was already being seated, with the heroes near the head of the table. Ribbon took the seat right next to Adeleine, who had picked up her spoon and was running it over the table as if it were a paintbrush and the table a canvas. She looked over at Ribbon and smiled.
“Hi Ribbon!” she said. “Where were you earlier?” Ribbon flicked her wings and waved a hand dismissively.
“Just doing my required ‘Guardian of the Great Crystal of Ripple Star’ stuff,” she said. Adeleine laughed.
“You should’ve been out there,” Adeleine told her. “Everyone was so nice! I mean, they asked some weird questions. Like about wh… well, that doesn’t really matter.” Ribbon could tell what it was based off how her tone changed. Someone asked her about the extinction of humanity. Ribbon smiled to herself. Now they would never have to worry about humans truly going extinct.
“Hey Adeleine?” Ribbon asked. Adeleine looked at her inquisitively.
“Yeah?” she replied, her beret slightly falling off her head.
“You’re my best friend!” Ribbon declared. Adeleine smiled wider than Ribbon had seen her smile.
“You’re my best friend too!” she said. Ribbon giggled, and kicked her feet happily while her wings fluttered.
“We’ll be best friends forever,” Ribbon said. Adeleine smiled at that. She didn’t understand the serious weight they had to them.
“Forever is a long time,” Adeleine said, “are you sure about that?” Ribbon laughed to herself.
“I’m absolutely certain,” Ribbon said very matter of factly. “Forever.” Adeleine gently tussled Ribbon’s hair, and Ribbon stuck her wings out and immediately went to fix it. As she did, the food was brought out, and everyone began to eat. Adeleine grabbed a small sandwich off a passing by plate and scarfed it down. Ribbon grabbed a bowl of fruit salad, and watched Adeleine as she talked with Dedede across the table. Her eyes were full of bright, youthful energy.
And Ribbon didn’t even have to cherish it in that moment.
Wow that was a lot longer than I intended it to be, whoops
So uhh… yeah. Ribbon just really likes her new friend. Adeleine never really finds out about this. She isn’t even aware of how much time is going by. Also yes, Ribbon is supposed to seem ever so slightly sinister! Fairies aren’t usually the good guys in folklore, you know
Adeleine only finds out much, much later on when she says she can’t believe so much has happened in just a couple years and is informed that it’s been centuries years since Zero Two was an issue. Susie then tells her that she should be much older than she is, and Adeleine obviously has a freak out over that
But does she ever find out it was Ribbon..?
“Hey Ribbon?” Adeleine asked her fairy friend as they laid in the grass. Everyone else was at Dedede’s castle welcoming the Beast Pack to visit, but Adeleine wanted nothing to do with anything related to the New World. Instead she had decided to go out into the fields with Ribbon and spend the day that way.
“Yeah?” Ribbon replied. Adeleine twiddled her thumbs as she looked up at the sunny blue sky of Pop Star.
“How long is forever?”
