Walking through the village, I stop at the stables to check on Sköll, giving him some carrots that I had picked up from the market. I give him a scratch between his ears as he softly nudges my chest.

“Ouch, Sköll…take it easy. I’m a bit sore there. Actually I’m a bit sore everywhere.” I softly sigh as I rub his nose. “We’ll go on another ride soon, just not today.” I place a light kiss on his nose, before I pick up my basket of supplies and head back towards home.

It is a beautiful day today, but I’m feeling much to sore to enjoy it. Seeing a group of boys gathered playing some sort of game involving rocks, I think I recognize one of them as Sihtric’s. I motion my hand to them to come nearer.

“I was hoping you boys could do me a favor. I need buckets of water brought to my cottage to fill a tub. Do you think you could help me with that?” I smile in relief as the boys nod in agreement. “Thank you, thank you…” I smile at each of them. “You have no idea how much I appreciate it.”

I watch as the young boys run off to gather the water for me. I know Finan would do it for me, but at the moment I’m not sure where he is, or what duties he may be helping Uhtred with and I don’t want to burden him.

The boys are quick to bring me plenty of water to fill the tub in the bed chamber. I set about heating some of the water over the hearth so that I can have a nice warm bath. Hopefully to ease some of these aches and pains I have been feeling as of late. Once the water is hot enough, I pour it into the tub. I add a little bit of milk to the water giving it a translucent white appearance. The milk will be good for my skin, that has been feeling tighter and tighter around my belly and hips as the babe grows.

After adding some dried petals to the water, I quickly remove my shoes and gown to get in. The warm water lapping at my skin feels divine. Taking a small rolled up towel, I place it on the edge of the tub to rest my head against. I can’t help a soft smile as my belly pokes out of the milky white water just a little, the little one’s kicks causing a soft ripple to the water as the petals float around.

I close my eyes, and just relax into the water, letting it’s warmth soothe my aches and pains. My hands lightly rest on my belly as I try to clear my mind. Myrkr’s paw swatting at the water, causing me to open one eye to peak at him.

“Be careful, Myrkr…I doubt you’ll be happy if you fall in.” I smirk at the cat, before closing my eyes again.

Backstory:

The middle sibling of the Odin family, sister to Baldur, Thor, Týr. Revna shone a light upon the Odinson family, some may even say Odin was happy to have a daughter. When she was born he immediately thought of the name Revna, which meant Raven.

Growing up Odin taught her all she needed to know, all the while learning from her family members. Learning to weild a sword, to shoot a bow and arrow, from magic and to communicate with the Ravens she had her fathers wits and intelligence and her mother's knowledge in magic.

After the divorce of Freya and Odin, Revna remained in Asgard with her family. And grew up to be a fine young warrior, respected and loved by many.

When tensions were rising, and Odin's daughters life was almost lost. Odin did the unthinkable, erasing her memory of her family and Asgard and sending her down to Midgard. All the while sending one of his many Raven's down with her to protect her.

When Revna woke up, she was in a midgard forest, not knowing who she was ... Or where she was. All she seemed to remember was the will to survive, to fight and to communicate with the Raven's

Eventually encountering Kratos and Faye, they sheltered her. Despite how hesitant Kratos was, Faye insisted. Upon Faye's death she assisted Kratos and Atreus, spreading Faye's ashes at the highest peak ... All the while her past was catching up to her.

The nightmares kept on getting worse over the years which reflected to her past, flashes of memories and sometimes she used her powers to teleport herself to one place and another.

11 years later after Faye's passing Revna assisted in helping Kratos and Atreus spread Faye's ashes.

Coming across Freya, who was actually Revna's mother. Rejoiced as she was Revna couldn't remember, thus Freya found the source of the curse that Odin out on her.

(Which made Revna forget her memories) They sought out to break the curse, and just like that... Revna was free. Remembering everything.

During the rise of Fimbulwinter and the dawn of Ragnarök, she had to make the choice between the new family she had made, her love for Kratos and the family and life she knew before.

Revna also has the ability to transform into a Raven, and also forge between a half human half Raven form; With black feathers around her body, sharp nails and large wings.

where do you find so many poems to post? do you have a massive collection in your place? or.. numerous trips to the library and bookstore? im so curious~

they’re all things i’m currently reading or have previously read. i indeed keep a MASSIVE collection on my phone & laptop (& i also lost so many others on old laptops that don’t work anymore, i just hope i can somehow restore them again, wish me luck!) i read at home with my pdfs & epubs & i don’t go out that much… so unfortunately i don’t go to libraries as much as i’d like to, plus the bookstores where i live suck:(

I step into the cool morning air, taking a deep breath to calm the storm of emotions rolling through me. I take a walk around the grounds to find a place to sit and reflect, away from everyone else. Finding a quiet corner near the wall that surrounds Saltwic, shaded by some trees, I sit on the ground with my back to the wall.

Drawing my knees up I rest my head on my arm that lays across them. I try to focus my thoughts, but the pain in my chest makes it hard. I love Finan with every beat of my heart. That I know for certain. But what if it’s not enough. What if I’m not enough for him… am I okay with him having lovers besides me. I feel a flare of jealousy in my chest. There is a part of me that wants him all to myself. To be the only one who sees the pleasure on his face in the throes of passion. Am I jealous cause I’m not included in these trysts with him? Would I even feel comfortable with that…having another person touch me the way Finan does? I trust Finan…trust that he would never do anything to hurt me when we are intimate. Could I build that same trust with another?

I've been having a lot of fun with the ER mod that lets you summon bosses, mostly because it gives me dumb ideas for my fic (bc I've been predominantly playing as my oc Revna)

Revna and Fortissax just staring up at this bitch so bewildered as to how the fight went this sideways

My spouses are so goddamn tall (granted in the fic Revna is like 6'5" so she's taller in the story but in game she smol). But this does spawn one of the funniest moments I wish I had recorded instead of just screenshotting moments before peak comedy

Revna has a pathological Need to be taller than Messmer For The Bit so she just hops on top of random things to see if she's taller.

Revna: Look, Messmer, I'm tall! [sees that the serpent is still above her head.] ...We're not counting the snake.
