Class action lawsuits against six of Ontario's largest for-profit long-term care (LTC) home providers, claiming gross negligence that led to illnesses and deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic, have been allowed to proceed.

In a ruling last week, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice certified class action suits against Sienna, Revera, Schlegel, Responsive, Extendicare and Chartwell.

The separate class actions were filed on behalf of thousands of clients, family members and visitors, who allege the companies were unprepared to provide care during the pandemic and failed to protect the health of residents and visitors.

ITS OFFICIALLY TIME FOR A NEW ART CHALLENGE!!

this art challenge unlike most others is strictly about Revera! If youve seen anything from my discord server recently you would of learned about ***Revera's Origins***. That's right the lore behind Revera has finally been dropped! The origins of what happened to her and her au before meeting marble.

But long story short error came and had reeked havoc in her au before he was stopped midway through. Ink stopped error but back to back the bad sanses were attacking as error was so as soon as ink defeated error he ran of to help dream and swap by the time they were done ink had forgotten about the au error had attacked leaving it in shambles. One of the monsters he had killed was Alphys, without her the core started to become unstable, Revera was forced into the role of royal scientist as no one else was qualified to take her place (Undyne and Alphys were close so over the years Undyne had learned a lot about all this stuff). But alas she was no scientist and dispite her best efforts the core had eventually exploded with her inside. Although she hadn't died she was left with a rather noticable burn scar.

Feel free to ask about it more if you want/need more info! This isn't the entirety of the lore surrounding her but it's the basics of what you'll need to know for this art challenge

Now that I've yapped like WAYYY to much onto what the art challenge is actually about!

YALL WILL BE REDESIGNING REVERA WITH FULL ARTISTIC CREATIVITY FOR HER DESIGN

you can do anything with her design as long as it still semi resembles an Undyne au and has a burn mark, the size and location of it is entirely up to you

Also I'll mention now this will **not** be judged based off of how good the art itself is it will be based off of how well made the design itself is, I wanna see full artistic creativity! Go the extra mile to yeet on those small details because I can promise I will notice them, add something new, make the clothes tattered, add some fun markings, add more scars, whatever ya want! You don't have to use pretty much anything from her current design.

Lowkey doubt this will get any views lol, feel free to reblog if you actually want a follow up post! because if there's only one submission it isn't much of an art challenge more so fanart

As explained before: in this AU, Revera and Jestro were both faced with a “two for one trauma special” when Jestro landed up being forced to become evil again. Rev wanted to be reassuring, and since she didn’t know what else to do at the time, held his hand.

And for some reason, the evilness started crawling onto hers because of that, leaving her with an “evil hand.” I was thinking about what to do with it, because I figured not doing anything with it would be a missed opportunity.

Thus, she was given electric powers that make her increasingly evil the more she uses them. I figured that the prospect of Rev potentially turning on her fellow knights in the middle of a fight would be interesting and scary. Especially considering she’s usually so caring towards her friends....

Geralt still has somehow lost all his armour, he imagines Jaskeir cheated to make that happen...

However, Geralt for all his powerful senses of deduction, cannot imagine why Jaskier has been so fidgety.

or why Jaskier doesn't seem to mind that he's loosing, only that he's not winning.

Intact Jaskier seems to be taking pleasure in languidly taking off his most recent loss, almost taunting as he drops the jacket.

Geralt is watching attentively...

Geralt realises through his minor haze, he can imagine the reason for all this...

Geralt is trying not to imagine.

Witcher's are creatures of great restraint.

He thinks this to himself, imagining that his pants didn't fit so tight...

Geralt can barely keep his eyes of the revealed flesh of his companion.

He feels like a wolf, examining a deer he intends to eat.

However Jaskier appears to be the one eating the attention up...

Geralt has lost.

it only took one or two lewd comments and teases from his companion to make him falter.

and at least now his pants arn't there to make his groin feel uncomfortable.

Now However, the problem was exposed as something soundly outside his pants...

from there it only took one or two words from Jaskier, and one or two of drunken agreement from Geralt, to finally end their game...

...

It is day.

Geralt can't imagine how this happened.

All the less can he remember it.

However, Geralt imagines, he won.

Notes - The beginning of this novel talking about PCOS and the love of autumn is a perfect start for me. It hits the nail on the head with the PCOS and gets a jump on one of the struggles in this book right away. It also addresses the main theme: Fall. I love fall. The talk of weight gain is beautifully crafted into the narrative to perfectly display the feelings of truly being fat. As someone who's just lost weight after being very fat, i heavily relate to Whit's talk of how different the shopping is, the way people treat you, and the way everyone comments on your body. Whit however, because of her PCOS, gained weight and couldn't lose it. Whit having to shave her face for the first time, as a woman, is a tough situation. The story of how Whit's Abuela met her Abuelo was so sweet. If i didnt have it as a library book, id have this entire section highlighted. The relationship between her and Aiden faltering out is sad but normal for teenage relationships. Whit finding it hard to give up control of her sister is a sweet scene. Her sister has autism, so she's always tried to protect her when her abuela couldn't, but her sister, lily, isn't a child anymore, and she wants to grow up, too. Aiden and Whit breaking up was so anticlimactic. He was basically emotionally cheating on her the entire time he was away. Whit navigating through her social faux pas with Isaiah was nice, and i'm glad there wasn't a miscommunication trope. I'm not a fan of that. The struggle between Whit and Lily growing apart because Lily is growing up is difficult, and while i understand, it's obvious that Whit is in the wrong here. Lily has to learn on her own. Whit slowly falling in love (and mainly crushing on Isaiah) was so sweet. It's very pining and puppy love. I think the fight between Lily and Whit is so cruelly accurate in the way that life IS like this and there's nothing we can do about it-- because it's LIFE. Lily isn't a baby anymore, and Whit has to let go of the control. I know I'm WAY LATE in this novel to mention how much i love the spanish, but i love the spanish because it reminds me of fall in New Mexico where i live. it's beautiful. The talk of Whit becoming an occupational therapist because her sister has autism is SO cool to me. That's why the clinic i go to for therapy for my autism was created-- because the owners brother had autism. It's such an amazing thing to do as a family member to go into a line of work that helps more people like your family. It's incredible to me, and i love that Whit is thinking about this. Whit's cyst rupturing was a shock that i wasn't expecting. She goes to the hospital, but she's worried about the cost of the hospital bill and the shitty healthcare system. Zay and Whitney getting together while she's sick in the hospital was so adorable for me. It was well timed and the way its phrased was perfect. Whitney missing the festival was sad, and i hope she gets to get better quick. The fall dance was so beautiful and i love that Lily was respected and wasn't forced into the spotlight. Isaiah and Whit are so cute together and i think it's nice that they played the boy band the rivera family is obsessed with. The boy band reuniting and them redoing the date they went on as kids was such an adorable ending to the book. The halloween trick or treating and fall festivities in this book are so amazing, and it really got me in the spirit for the rest of november. I loved this book a LOT.

It wasn't that he found himself, for lack of a better word, revolting in this form, just that he wasn't sure if the way slender fingers were working over the longer, darker fur was a good thing. Yet, Mina seemed hooked, and he would have had to be blind not to see the smile on her muzzle.

Sitting there in the garden, just the two of them, trying to enjoy the last of the quickly fading warmer nights, the last thing he expected was the kiss to his neck. The shiver he gave wasn't due to the cold either, yet before he could say anything his lips had been caught in a proper kiss, the singer's hands getting lost in the fur along his chest. They danced oh so close to the scar that was still very visible there, yet never touched it as they danced over his shoulders, kneading the powerful muscles.

He could have swore her felt her shiver as well.

From lips to neck, shoulder to chest, she seemed keen on exploring all she could, kissing wherever she wanted and spurred along by the fact the hero wasn't stopping her. Not even as soft lips, and a whimsy tongue, fell upon scarred knuckles. Then the marred wrist, the like skin along his stomach and even his thighs. No scar was spared attention by the mongoose, none were left without a little love and affection.

But even the hero knew what her real goal was, there were very few reasons the mongoose slithered down his body like that, placing herself so purposefully between his legs.

The look in her eyes was telling, and the hero's own green hues had narrowed just slightly. Not in argument, but rather in a playful question that she promptly answered by kissing the firm bump just under the darker fur. The following ones to his thighs weren't quite as effective but never let it be said the singer wasn't having a fantastic time mapping out her partner's body.

And she had so much more in store.
