The first of my two claims for Lord of the Rings Secret Santa @lotr-sesa this year - @balrogballs asked for "something set on a beach, involving one or more of Celebrían, Elrond, Maglor, Maedhros, and Arwen".

I pounced on that prompt, and enjoyed myself a lot drawing this! Discovering Ms Balls' wonderful Celrond work in the progress was an unforeseen joy and inspiration 💜

In The Jailhouse Job, Eliot puts the flashdrive into the prison computer and types a few keys really fast without getting nervous or making a mistake.

It's this moment where I KNOW Eliot's and Hardison's relationship has reached a different level.

Evidence:

Eliot consistently makes fun of Hardison for knowing computer stuff, but here, we see that Eliot still took the time to actually LEARN it.

In previous episodes where Eliot had to do anything computer related, he was very slow about the whole thing, which means he's been practicing and working with Hardison on a regular basis to get better.

In The Wedding Job, Eliot whined about maybe having to type things when he broke into the FBI office, saying all he knew how to do was Photoshop, but now, typing is second nature to him.

In The Reunion Job, the entire episode revolves around computers, but Eliot is chosen be the on-site hacker, which means he's comfortable enough with computers to assist Hardison.

Whenever Hardison gets in the zone and starts geeking out, Eliot is always frustrated and angry at him and tells him to stop. Yet in The Reunion Job, Eliot trusts in Hardison's skill set enough to pit him against the guy who literally wrote the book on database security.

Maybe they don't see each other as boyfriends JUST yet, but those few seconds in The Jailhouse Job tells me that soon, these guys will eventually figure out how much they love each other.

This is probably just me and my weird sense of humor, but Netherrealm Studio did really miss the great opportunity to make the most accidental wedding crash in the history of Mortal Kombat.

Instead of the deliberate attack on Kuai Liang & Harumi’s wedding, we could have Lin Kuei attacking Liu Kang’s place to either hurt/kill Fire Lord or steal Whatever Important Stuff There Was Hidden, having no clue Shirai Ryu clan and Liu Kang’s Champions gathered there for the marriage ceremony. Just imagine the potential of an awkward family reunion when Sub-Zero is not even there to mess with his brothers.  Not to mention the whole subplot from intro dialogues in which Kuai Liang searched for his brother to no avail, only to bump into him by total accident. With Bi-Han being like that is not my fault you couldn’t get married somewhere else and picked the worst time of all possible. Because of course, that is Kuai Liang’s luck 🤣🤣

sadly the person who did that nils analysis post blocked me ( not sure why but its whatever ) but it really opened my eyes to Nils a little TW for mentions of SA and light NSFW mentions ( I'm specifically talking abt older Nils and Elka in that context though )

At first i was thinking why Nils is the way he is was bc he had neglectful parents and unrestricted access to adult content but thinking over it more the implications that he could have been sexually abused makes a bit more sense ( granted i think the unrestricted access to adult content still shaped him for the worse ) Like if we take the Campster as canon a lot of the other campers list media that's definitely not meant for their age group ( Bobby having a bunch of R rated slasher movies, Kitty having Mulhohand Drive which is rated R, Milkas fave movie having a fucking rape scene in it etc ) but they don't seem to act like how Nils does. Sure Kitty does act a lot older than she is but i think some of it is because she hit puberty early along with other factors ( probably having access to media that while not exactly 100% explicit is definitely not meant for a 12 year old ) and Milka calls Lili, Kitty and Franke " ho's " but imo idk if Milka even fully knows what that means ( most likely heard her mom using that word in an insulting manner and just parroted it since she's like 7 and doesn't know any better )

It also adds a whole other layer to my " despite him acting outwardly sexual when he's older Nils is actually terrified of intimacy and chickens out when he and Elka attempt to be intimate " headcanon i have

At twenty, Ciel Phantomhive was preparing for a wedding he had once considered impossible—marriage to Lizzy Midford, his fiancée since childhood. Despite his cool demeanor, even he couldn’t deny the significance of the day approaching, and today, Lizzy had dragged him to London’s finest boutique to finalize her choices.

“Ciel,” Lizzy began, her cheeks tinged pink as she turned to him, holding a delicate silk nightgown. “What do you think of this… for our first night?”

Ciel froze, his blue eyes widening at her question. “Do I… have to give an opinion on that?” he muttered, his cheeks burning.

Lizzy giggled, her embarrassment mirrored in her sparkling green eyes. “Well, you are the one who’ll see it,” she teased, twirling slightly. The delicate fabric fluttered around her, and Ciel felt an unfamiliar heat rise in his chest.

“Fine,” he muttered, avoiding her gaze. “It’s… suitable.”

Lizzy burst into laughter at his stiff response, her voice echoing through the shop. But her teasing softened when she saw the way he watched her—his normally guarded expression uncharacteristically warm.

After choosing both her wedding gown and nightgown, the pair left the shop, stepping into their carriage just as dark clouds rolled over the city. The first rumble of thunder made Lizzy jump, and Ciel instinctively reached for her hand.

“Afraid of a little storm?” he asked, his voice tinged with teasing.

“Don’t be mean, Ciel,” she murmured, clutching his arm as the rain began to pour.

When they arrived at the Phantomhive estate, the storm had intensified. Lightning illuminated the sky, and Lizzy’s anxiety was written all over her face. “You’ll stay here tonight,” Ciel said firmly. “There’s no sense in traveling back in this weather.”

Grateful but still unsettled, Lizzy tried to sleep in the guest room. The relentless thunder, however, left her trembling. Eventually, unable to bear it any longer, she made her way to Ciel’s room.

A hesitant knock woke him. When he opened the door, his heart ached at the sight of her tear-streaked face. “I’m sorry,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “I just… I couldn’t stay alone.”

Ciel sighed softly and pulled her into his arms without hesitation. “You don’t have to apologize,” he murmured, leading her inside.

Lizzy clung to him, her head resting against his chest. The storm outside raged, but his steady presence grounded her. “I feel safe with you,” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the wind.

For hours, they sat together. Ciel held her close, stroking her hair, his heart conflicted. He had always known Lizzy cared for him deeply, but tonight, he realized just how much he cared for her in return.

As dawn broke and the storm quieted, Lizzy stirred in his arms. The soft morning light illuminated her face as she looked up at him, her eyes shining with gratitude.

On impulse, she leaned up and kissed his cheek. “Thank you, Ciel,” she whispered, her voice tender.

Ciel’s breath caught, and before he could think better of it, he pressed his lips to hers in a fleeting but heartfelt kiss.

Lizzy’s eyes widened in surprise, but when he pulled back, fumbling for an apology, she smiled and touched his hand. “You don’t have to apologize,” she said softly. “You’re the one I’ve always loved.”

Ciel’s face reddened, but he intertwined his fingers with hers, his heart swelling. In that quiet moment, amidst the stillness after the storm, they both felt their bond deepen—a love that would carry them through every challenge to come.

As they prepared to face the day, Lizzy teased him with a laugh. “So… you really thought the nightgown was ‘suitable’?”

Ciel groaned, hiding his face in his hands. “Don’t start.”

But her laughter filled the room, bright and full of joy, and even Ciel couldn’t help the soft smile that crossed his lips.
