Many many years ago, Suzanne, her (then) girlfriend Anne-Marie, and Anne-Marie’s brother were out tipsily enjoying an afternoon at a bar. The topic of marriage came up, and my aunt’s brother-in-law drunkenly phoned the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa to find out how exactly to tie the knot. Luca becomes extremely close to Elsa and even begins to fall in love with her.  Mary, one of the original “Scorpioni” women to care for Luca, continues to be a mentor for him during a time where his naive and immature actions may cause more harm to the women around him during a war ridden time in their lives.  The backdrop of the war changes the lives of all the “Scorpioni” women as well as sets the tone for Luca’s journey to becoming a man. Claire is a nurse who must find a way to terminate her pregnancy during a time where abortion was illegal.  The second story, set in 1974, follows Barbara Barrows, a pregnant housewife who already has four children to care for. Barbara struggles with the decision on whether or not to keep her fifth child, having just gone back to college and already struggling to care for her family.  The third story is set in 1996 and tells the story of Christine Cullen, a college student who becomes pregnant after sleeping with her married professor. Speaking to the Evening Standard ahead of Meghan and Harry’s wedding, Ben Roberts, the managing director of Clogau, said: “Welsh gold is scarcer than it has ever been.

“With no gold mining taking place in Wales today, Welsh gold supplies may eventually run out, making it possibly the rarest gold in the world.

“On November 28, 2017, 10 lots of Clogau gold, mined under government lease between 1979 and 1981, were expected to fetch about £9,000 at auction.”

They went on to fetch over three times that amount, selling for £44,000 in the end.

However, Ben revealed Clogau are keen to keep the Royal Family well stocked for years to come, meaning Princess Eugenie may not have a ring made from the original lump, but it is still likely to be Welsh gold.

A second donation of the rare metal was gifted to the Queen on her 60th birthday, so there should still be plenty to go around.
