Reasons Why You Should Consider Renting a Home
Renting a home can be a smart choice in multiple situations as you can stray away from long-term commitments and huge investments. Further, rented homes allow you to predict your monthly expenses with ease, something which might be impossible to do at an owned property. Letā€™s take a look at the key benefits of renting a home.
Minimal Expenses
Tumblr media
Ease of Relocation
A home can quickly lose value when the locality starts witnessing more crimes or simply when the neighboring areas are making a lot of progress comparatively. For residential property owners, this turns into a big problem as they could end up selling their property for a lot less than they bought it for. This is not the case when you live in a rented home as you can opt to shift andĀ rent home fast in ArizonaĀ at another location.
Less Responsibilities and More Free Time
When you live in your own house, you have to keep an eye out for potential problems like roofing, flooring, and other issues while ensuring theyā€™re repaired on time. This is an additional responsibility that all homeowners are required to take on in order to maintain their homeā€™s overall value. Contrastingly, when youĀ rent home fast in Las VegasĀ or other top locations, all you need to do in case of a potential problem is notify your landlord as itā€™s their responsibility to keep the property in top-notch condition.

Now that I've moved partially into my new place, I can finally get to business doing my favorite thing on Earth: deep cleaning filthy things and finding places to put my stuff in spaces that don't have many surfaces. I'm kidding, I hate this. I'm so tired of it. I'm hell bent on executing my plan to become financially independent and move on to some sort of space that I own, that no one else has already fucked up, that I don't have to spend precious life energy cleaning. It's just endless. I seriously am stuck in a loop. Clean, set up, organize, fine tune, reorganize, clean again, rearrange, de-clutter, re-arrange again, clean again, and no matter what I do, it's always a mess. There's always a mess. But at least I want there to be a home for the mess, so it's a mess that can be put away. Right now there's nowhere to put the mess because there is no furniture or storage. So all of my stuff is in the floor or the bed.
The stuff part isn't even the most annoying aspect of moving in here. This place is filthy. Certified Class AAA Filthy. Can't perform basic domestic tasks without deep cleaning something. The microwave, fridge, dishwasher, stove, drawersx and cupboards can't be used until they're cleaned. They are filthy. Unusabky filthy. Can't use the back yard, can't wash laundry, can't place a single item on the garage floor. Because it's so filthy. The washing machine has caked on gunk, there are hard water deposits on all the sinks, the downstairs bathroom is saturated in human piss. The sink is also cracked.
I did degrease and vacuum part of the garage floor, and I vacuumed and hosed down the back yard. But I'm just one person and literally every single millimeter of this place has to be cleaned. The ceiling fans are furry, the blinds are more dust than plastic. The air filter in the hallway šŸ˜±šŸ˜±šŸ˜±. Even the floorboards are fucked up, and there are a lot of gaps, and in the gaps is all sorts of who the fuck knows what. The closet carpet is dark, dark brown. The walls, the floorboards, the door jams, everything. Water damage in the cupboards.
The toilet seat is cracked...
There's so much soap scum in the shower door it's like it's frosted glass.
All I want to do is live a life where I'm not fucking living in fucking filth anymore. For fucks sake. I'll get there.

(I KNEW IT.) Woke up to this. Kill me. (Set at 71, was actually 74.) Wasn't even the hottest part of the day yet and it did the same thing yesterday, getting to 76 before anyone got over here to look at it. Again. Here's an excerpt of a rant I wrote yesterday about having to stay in a hotel to kind of explain why this is such a huge problem: "I came back on Tuesday(I went in on Sunday and it was supposed to be fixed by Monday, but the ā€œfixā€ was filling it with freon every month or two[because this is Tucson, Arizona and it is always Too Hot] due to a leak in the coil, but after doing this for two fuckin years, it fried the compressor and my dumbass landlord had no choice but to finally replace the damn thing, and that couldnā€™t be done in a day) and since itā€™s over 90 degrees over here already and my body has destroyed my sweat glands, I literally couldnā€™t be in the house. Like, I would get heatstroke and die, the house was 86 fuckin degrees and I keep the house below 70 for this exact reason(And yes, I had a fan, but if you have no moisture on your skin, thereā€™s nothing to evaporate and cool the skin, so itā€™s just blowing hot air on you, thereā€™s really just no point unless the air is cooler than the room temperature if that makes sense) and I had to leave." Like, seriously. Kill me. #RentalLife

Our trusty old washing machine finally bit the dust, so our benevolent landlord bestowed us with a brand new one that looks almost exactly the same, only whiter šŸ˜ƒ I will not miss the stickers on the side of the old one that some previous tenant thought were a good idea. #laundry #washingmachines #stackinglaundry #renting #rentallife #whiteappliances #nicelandlords

A bunch of guys showed up this morning at 7am to fix the cracked windows. I had been afraid to even dust 2 of these giant pieces of glass for fear they were going to fall out. The landlord wanted to start the project at the start of the pandemic, but I put a stop to that until I was fully vaccinated. Not happy about the way everyone was wearing their masks, and I brought it up to the supervisor. All in all, glad to get this done. Further repairs to the house can only be done by fully vaccinated people. The first wave of those individuals should be available in early September. #pandemiclifešŸ˜· #thisoldhouse Zarcero, Costa Rica. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #bohemiancostarica #zarcero #zarcerocostarica #costaricašŸ‡ØšŸ‡· #costaricagram #instacostarica #ig_costarica #houserepairs #livingabroad #expatlife #rentallife #costaricapuravidašŸ‡ØšŸ‡· #costaricaproblems #glasshouse #cabinadefotos #aframe #aframecabin #oldhouselife (at Zarcero) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTFckFsHv4V/?utm_medium=tumblr

To get everyone amped up for the end of the month and the upcoming moving day, I'm digging into the CLIML archives...!
FROM THE ARCHIVES (October 26, 2014).Ā
TOP: THESE are always the exciting ones, because not only is it a good sized object, I'm always wondering who on earth is going to take this away?! I mean, if we are at the point in our culture that we are just giving away flat screened TVs then who is going to want this? YES this is a flat screened TV, it's not a flat paneled one (I'm not a TV scientist, nor do I work at FutureShop!), because it has some sort of tube in the back. Toshiiiiiba!
2ND: Seems legit, no cracks, and an attached power cable -- I think this baby might actually work! What is that -- 24 inch?
3RD: Toshiba. Yeah baby. That's some pedigree.
BOTTOM: Yup, and there you have it. Feel bad for the other crap left there -- that old wicker basket and flattened cardboard box looks like garbage next to this puppy!
